La basílica subterránea estaba custodiada por ángeles de rostro severo que daban un aire siniestro al lugar. En medio de velas que buscaban rasgar la oscuridad, tres espadas vencidas, rendían culto a una victoriosa mujer de piedra.

Pensé que hubo un tiempo en que, buscando sustento, los hombres en conjunto derribaban animales con sus armas de punta de obsidiana, cuidándose entre todos. Pero este lugar me susurraba sobre muertes sin sentido, odio fratricida.

Salí dando tumbos buscando el aire y el sol. Me senté temblorosa junto a un cactus. Hay lugares que nos hacen llorar.
