there's not a single part of the day that yata had planned and yet -- the last few hours were completely left field. this was nothing like how he thought his night would end / they'd done enough with more slate bullshit -- fighting and life and death and saruhiko. that child -- gojo sukuna / he'd almost managed to kill saruhiko after learning that he was nothing more than a mole and yata had saved him.

after everything, saruhiko should have just went on his way after everything was said and done but no. he chose to stay. chose to hang around yata while everyone else were busy dealing with the aftermath. okay. fine. whatever. it wasn't like yata wasn't used to the other hanging around him, pestering him / taunting him / haunting him, like the personal tormentor saruhiko insists on being. the plan was to ditch saruhiko off at the nearest ditch, that guy isn't his job -- yata is red clan / saruhiko is blue. he made that decision and reminded yata of it a great many times. saruhiko even burned off his own marking in front of yata just to further get at him. the betrayal, however, neither started, nor ended there.

yata hates himself. he -- saruhiko, and his family, and his stupid fucking friends, and the clans, and the slate, and / and / and / and even injured, saruhiko makes the first move against yata as if he hadn't saved his ass not even two hours ago and they fight.

everything happens and nothing stops / just one gigantic landslide that merely keeps going and, as per usual, saruhiko tries striking him down with the intention to kill him while poking and prodding at every point in yata's life. he can't do this anymore / it's the last thing yata remembers thinking clearly before his mind is nothing more than this dark, deep abyss that is more action than thought.

he kills saruhiko / his best friend / his abuser / his tormentor. saruhiko is dead because of his own actions, in a way. not that it matters because yata has no intention in explaining himself away to anyone. saruhiko is dead. that is all, that is it.

he more or less drags himself to takehiko's place. it's the closest place he knows / no other reason. at first, he knocks on the door, then he just breaks in.

yata hates this, even while falling deeper into the trench of his self-loathing, he knows that he has to say something, resulting in the near automatic slack of maw. he doesn't speak immediately, words trying to force it's way through him just to spit it out as fact. he killed saruhiko. mind tunes into the scene, temporarily clear minded as friend wanders around him to no doubt look him over, and check for injuries, but he's ripped back out of reality as she speaks and takehiko's words are nothing but drowned out warbles as he's guided around.

really, everything's a blur / too tuned in to be completely oblivious that she's now got him sitting around in her bathroom just to leave him on his own, too tuned out to truly digest the why. he blinks, after what feels like forever and he's being questioned, he thinks, and breath hitches in response. cool air hits bare skin as takehiko cuts him out of his clothing as he returns to blank staring.

" i-- " gaze falls, beginning to recognize the blood in him and he knows that it's not his. mostly. it's saruhiko's. why is she asking --? oh. " i know who i am, and how old i am, and who you are. " but he doesn't feel the need to prove it to her. he's not stupid. he knows that he says that he's stupid, but yata's aware of enough to know that he's not concussed. " i'm not the one who hit my head. "

brief memory flashes in his mind, of repeated actions that had gotten him so bathed in blood spray in the first place.

"What is the point of this?!" He knows he's taking a risk by speaking up, but he simply was never one to keep quiet in such situations, raising his head from the kneeling position all hostages had taken.

Since you asked, Rogers and Altreo, love vagueposting about unfair trades (and coincidentally are Nika's besties). Rogers complained about resellers while actively reselling shinies (most obvious Valkyrr's Winter Mareep). Maybe they just wanted OT shinies, but they sold a lot of those Winter Mareep. Altreo calls out cheaters after helping Boss_Bakugo resell that overpriced Magearna GB voucher that was probably cheated, and Boss_Bakugo was always suspicious. Rules for thee, but not for me.

so.... phew. wow. i finally got prescribed antidepressants; sertraline, to be specific. and now i’m scaring myself hearing about all the side effects (big fuckin mistake going through the tag LMAO). i have no idea if it’ll have the same effects on me, and i’m really freaking myself out to take it for the first time even though it usually takes a few weeks to kick in. i don’t know if i can afford the insomnia it might bring.

i really hope it’ll help. there’s a lot of things i want to do this school year, and there’s a lot of things i need to do this semester. and as stupid and strange as this is going to sound, i’ve been depressed for the majority of my teenage years so if this medication -does- work i feel like i’m going to lose a huge part of myself? maybe become a different person? it’s very weird? man, i don’t know haha

Belated Panda update for the few who are following He def has chronic kidney disease, which will eventually cause renal failure. Right now he's on special foods and spending his days being lethargic and sleepy and smelly all the time. As far as we know he's not in any pain, so we'll keep treating him. (Also shoutout to @valkyrr for being awesome, I know I've been quiet cause sometimes I cant make words happen but I really do appreciate you being so supportive, so thank youuu
