Freestyle poetry - The cold

I look outside the window and I can see a little light There's something in the air that feels not right

The air is cool and the breeze is colder, it feels like something is peering over my shoulder.

I look over there, behind me, something is going to happen, something is about to start

It feels familiar in the most unpleasant ways, like the thundering beat of my heart

it feels like I a going down in the deep but there's nothing I can do to stop it

And the water is freezing above me while into the darkness I sink

Uhm...this was an experiment that I made with @fatelys and I am pretty proud of this to be honest, not expecting to have this in me...but, Is cool!

The Fall Of Septhis (TFOS) Snippet

Just giving a small part of the novel! It is still being written so here is your update! I plan on releasing my small Horror Story set later this week as well. Hope you enjoy!

(this may be edited later on, this is just what is written as of right now)

¨invisibilitas leporem,¨ Naim wrote down upon the brown snake leather book we both shared.

¨invisibilitas....what?¨ I asked admiring how clean his words always were. In the past he used to tell me the mature angels called it cursive. As much as I could barely read it, I knew he would tell me everything aloud.

And just like that, he started his explanation.

¨Its invisibilitas leporem. The scribes call it latin. It means invisibility charm. I don´t know how much of an explanation you want besides how it simply is a charm, which can help make you invisible.¨

I laughed softly as I watched his hand begin to trail to the outside of the page. He was waiting for questions, and I had plenty for him. So, I cleared my throat.

¨Well brother, are there specific charms? How big are the charms? Does it use more than just invisibility magic? Do inviblists need it?¨

¨Inviblists dont need it, given their element is invisibility. Charms end up being small, its sneakier that way. And it only uses trapped invisibility magic.¨

I sighed laying down, letting my wings spread out beside me.

¨Trapped magic hm?¨

Naim just looked up, pausing his writing before looking back down to continue.

¨Yes. Basically you can channel magic into an item. There is a whole different spell to trap it in the item.¨

¨And that is?¨

¨Another spell for another day Septhis. You know the rules.¨

What is your absolute all-time favorite idea you’ve ever had?

Um probably the Hellenic Chronicles. I've always wanted to write a greek mythology book and I really love this book

Is there a question you’ve been asked in the past that really stands out to you, and you still think about sometimes?

Not really, but I would love to answer more questions

What is your favorite part of being a writer? What parts could you take or leave?

I love coming up with characters and their backstories. Character creation is what got me into writing in the first place.

I absolutely hate keeping things in the right tense. I am horrible at it.

What is your greatest motivation to write/create?

My friends' excitement for me. I don't want to let them down

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever read or been given as a writer?

That I shouldn't call myself an ASPIRING author/writer. I already am a writer/author

What do you wish you knew when you were first starting out writing?

That its okay to keep going back and rewriting things even if you have people who question/judge you about it

What is your favorite story you’ve written to completion? Link it if you’d like and can!

I wrote a really short, really bad sci-fi series called The Crescent View Series. I plan on going back to it and rewriting it.

Which of your characters would you say has the most controversial mindset? Why do you say so, and how do you personally feel about their ideals?

Probably Raven. She grew up with military training so she can be pretty ruthless and cold, even though she means well. I really like and can understand her mindset at points but even I would probably find her cruel in real life.

If you, when you first started writing, met you now, what would younger you think?

Younger me would be so excited. Like I said, I've always wanted to write a book based on greek mythology.

꧁𓊈𒆜Magic Lesson No.1 𒆜𓊉꧂

Latin Name: Invisibilitas Leporem

English Name: Invisibility Charm

Who Can Use It: Any type of magical user can use Invisibilitas Leporem, but Inviblists, given it gives them the power of to be invisible

Type of Magic: Charm, as it is stated in the name above.

Good Or Evil: Can be both, it all depends on the use of the welder.

Origin: Originally done by Illusionist Zellon Evander Perseus. Along with his brother, Xero Arlon Perseus who was an Invisibist. It is said that the two of them experimented with the new found way of trapping magic by Lydia Elowen Roe.

In this process the two decided to trap magic from Xero into a regular sized glass bottle. When this was done, the bottle began to completely fog up. The magic became a misty sort of color. The two decided to pick up the bottle to see what would happen when they trapped Xero's magic.

When Xero picked up the bottle, nothing happened, though when Zellon picked up the bottle nothing happened as well for a couple seconds. After a few, Zellon's body slowly began to disappear. Xero easily identified this as one of his own magic called Evanescere, which was the name for an Invisibist making themselves Invisible.

After a bit of time being invisible Zellon but the bottle on the floor, quickly being visible once again.

With this new magical item, Xero and Zellon spent months trying to prefect their idea for it. In the end, with their bottle they managed to control the magic within it. With this the welder of the bottle had full control over when they would want to become invisible and not, without needing to let go of the bottle. They also managed to prefect the speed of going invisible, so it was on par with an Invisibist speed.

As time went on, many other people took this idea, putting magic in jars or necklaces. Smaller items that was less seeable and more stealthy.

I stood in front of a crumbling ruin, ivy filled the cracks and snaked up the stairs left behind. Eight shadowy figures stood behind me, two stood in front of me, one with long flowy hair and another with a long coat that swept the ground. They stood at the top of the crumbling staircase, matching wide grins split their faces.

What is your absolute all-time favorite idea you’ve ever had?

My favorite idea I ever had would be my current WIP, The Fall Of Septhis. Out of all my stories I written in the past, this one is going to be my first finished novel. The idea at first was a small one for my bigger stories, until I expanded it more. Making it the first to come of many more down the line.

Is there a question you’ve been asked in the past that really stands out to you, and you still think about sometimes?

I haven't been asked a ton of questions but one question I love and think about is the type of flower that represents my current WIP. I love the idea of having a certain flower that symbolizes something have the same idea to symbolize my story. Makes it feel more connected to our word even though it's fiction.

What is your favorite part of being a writer? What parts could you take or leave?

My favorite part of being a writer is seeing how people take my writing and either ask questions or want more of it. To see people love my work and generally want me from a very small names writer makes me so happy. I love answering questions about my work it helps me expand on my own word more.

What is your greatest motivation to write/create?

My greatest motivation I would say are my friends. Such as @valisilissa-koilos and her wife. My irl friends and even the friends I also make online. For me to finally find people who support me with something I done on my own for years makes me always want to write more. Also music is a great motivation for me cause I can imagine so much from them.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever read or been given as a writer?

It would have to be from my old creative writing teacher, she told me there is no such thing as a bad idea. And that of you can dream about it, you can write it.

What do you wish you knew when you were first starting out writing?

I wish I knew how tricky English actually was. Looking back and even now I'm still a bit bad at English. I used to make up so much words which weren't properly spelled right. If I understood English was so tricky, I think I would have a better handle on it.

What is your favorite story you’ve written to completion? Link it if you’d like and can!

That would have to be my very short story called His Eyes. It's a short story with two of my favorite characters who absolutely hate each other to the point that their fate is intertwining with their hate. Out of all the short small stories I made of them, this one is my favorite. (You can read it here)

Which of your characters would you say has the most controversial mindset? Why do you say so, and how do you personally feel about their ideals?

I would have to say Zelos. He's one of those characters that even though they believe they're doing the right thing or in general believe something is right, nine times out of ten it's not. Sometimes I feel like he sounds like he's been brainwashed, other times I feel like certain things he's say is so dumb.

If you, when you first started writing, met you now, what would younger you think?

Young me: Did we ever publish those FNAF stories?

Older me: *light chuckle* No we didn't, but we made something even better.

Young me: So we still write?

Older me: Yes, we do. And we can finally call ourselves an author.

(End of chapter one)

Welcome everyone, here's another small update on TFOS. The full first chapter has been written, I'm going back to look over it and revising it but the first chapter is completely done! So, due to the fact, I decided to give you a snippet of the end of the last chapter. I hope you all enjoy it!

The Elder god and his council summoned me to the Ancient halls. Today is the day I get my own job. I only hope it is as simple as delivering scrolls like Naim.

So here I am, I can feel my heart beginning to quicken within my chest as I rub my hands on the side of my garment. The door hasn't opened yet, and the more it doesn't just makes me feel as though an entire lifespan passed by. Then those large golden doors opened, leaving me no time to react.
