Have been playing a lot of Modded Minecraft, specifically Valhelsia 3, with friends. It's been literally like 5 years since I did this shit, and modpacks have only gotten better.

Val3 has some seriously supercharged structure generation. We found our stronghold and it was this enormous sprawling fortress. It was originally all built out of stone bricks, but we've been sprucing it up with nicer materials, adding staircases, fixing the lights, and adding carpets and such. It came with the cool dragon head statues and a ton of statues of lil guys with books and swords and shields and stuff, all meticulously made out of bricks.

It's very cool. I placed a teleportation waystone in it and named it Stronghold Abraxas, because I could. 8)

I posted this on Twitter, as with many updates, but this morning we were forced to put down Jacob, our one year old, black kitten who was diagnosed with FIP a week ago. 

He declined rapidly over the past week, and began to have seizures early this morning. We rushed him to the vet once they opened, and before the seizures could get worse, he was peacefully euthanized.

In Memoriam, I've immortalized Jacob on the Valhelsia 3 server I play on with the NelstonStar crew.. 

When possible, I will do so on the RotN server as well.

Fly high little guy... fly high.

RIP Jacob Merrill, taken away too soon... We miss you, your brother misses you.

@corvuscorona I recall you talking abt how there aren't enough flowers n stuff Minecrafting-wise, and while I am not 100% sure on what all you've played w/ n all, I'm checking out the Valhelsia 3 modpack, which so far is very pretty and full of flowers from several different mods. This is in an actual flower forest, where the pastel trees are wisteria. I'm building in a cherry tree forest, where everything is pink and a leaf carpet can gradually build up.

Also there are crocodiles and you can wrassle 'em because the fuckers keep chewing on your boat. And frogs, of several varieties, including some perfect for flat fuck Friday.
