hhhhnnnnn brain Bad today, but ur latest dadralt art has me thinking about Blorbos

what if. what if ciri wanted to learn how to braid so she could makeover geralt, but geralt didn’t know how, so he asked jaskier to teach him (bc i am very attached to my Many Pankratz Sisters hc) and then went around practicing on all his brothers and vesemir and the horses and anything that would sit still long enough, all so he could be the one to teach his daughter

ooh ooh ooh maybe lam’s little braid is actually from geralt and he got all grumbly and pretended to hate it but wouldn’t let anyone take it out bc now he matches aiden 😭

i’m just having a lot of Feelings abt all these Big Fighty men sitting around braiding each other’s hair and arguing abt who’s best at it and turning all that witcher brain power and focus onto not disappointing a little girl

Braining is Hard today but the ol thinkpan is rly enjoying my Blorbo Thoughts thank u miles

this is also a FANTASTIC reason to bring up Lamb's little braid too, bc I'm not sure if you were following for its beginning/if I've mentioned it before (I am,,, forgetful like that, but you will hear it again in that case!!!) but he, Aiden, and Valdo all have matching ones bc 1) I do love to give a witcher a bard and that means I am forcing everyone to acknowledge our valdo/lambert/aiden realness in the Vastly Superior Canon™️ universe, and 2) their little braids are actually locks of each of their partners' hair!! Valdo has one from each of his witchers and they both have one from each other and one from Valdo woven into a little braid in their own hair to carry a part of each other when they are apart!! :D

but also,,,, them all sitting down to braid each other's hair together,,,, I am seeing it, I'm loving it, they're all trying to outdo each other kxjhgkfdjgh the competition in this house

also also, the very quiet images in my head of Geralt braiding Roach's mane, or Jaskier braiding Geralt's hair after a bath, of Geralt braiding Ciri's hair perfectly the first time, AGH, this is me -> 😭 I love soft moments

AUGH, okay, I PROMMY there will be lambert doodles tonight, but first while I'm getting distracted from my checkpoint goal for this commission, I want to just share:

Lambert and his men are apart more than they are together normally. Yes, he and Aiden work jobs together (wolves and cats are very social creatures after all, they'd go insane if they really had to be loners) and Valdo is more than happy to come on a trip here and there with either of them, especially if they're headed to the same place or even in just the same general direction, but they're often not all in the same place. Sometimes though, there is a perfect moment where they are all in the same place, and I think these moments are most often in the summer in Cidaris or the winter at Kaer Morhen. and I think they must take an opportunity to curl up and have a nap together, even just a short one.

I also think they write letters often, that they will give to each other in person and tell each other to wait til they're apart again to read them - little love notes and such to remind each other that they love each other and will see each other again, something Valdo started for sure :P
