it's been awhile since i talked about this, so i'm gonna talk about it again.

RE: YANG ENERGY

Chongyun's yang energy is ever present. My personal take is that when Chongyun is keeping it at bay and suppressing their emotions/trying to keep cool, their eyes are the slits we seen in game.

However, when Chongyun's yang energy takes over and he becomes yang drunk, that's when his pupils become more round, and more akin to a standard human's eyes. When one sees round pupils, that's when it's safe to assume that Chongyun is not himself, he's out of control and likely needs to be put on a leash himself.

THAT'S NOT TO SAY HE BLACKS OUT. I do not like the idea/hint that it's an entirely split personality, so I made tweaks to how it effects Chongyun. I call it yang drunk, because they act drunk. Chongyun's personality becomes louder, more playful, a lot more chaotic and willing to stir up trouble, and rarely do they ever become violent/dangerous/an actual threat. Will they chase after and attack their friends? Absolutely. Chongyun is known to swing their claymore around, never with the intent to hurt. They do restrain themself if it comes down to it, because it's still Chongyun.

Chongyun still remembers the things he's done while in this state. He doesn't black out entirely, it's more akin to feeling hazy/loopy and regretting everything after the fact.

When plunging into the yang drunk state, Chongyun feels dizzy, floaty, and completely disconnected from his body, and that feeling tends to last until the state dissipates. either by Chongyun finally getting himself somewhere cool/cold, passing out, or finding other ways of relieving that energy so he can calm down naturally.

When coming down, Chongyun will feel sluggish, disoriented and a little depressed, feeling a lot of guilt and shame for their actions while drunk. Lots of apologies, lots of attempts to make it up to people, and trying to isolate so they can rest and recover.

Chongyun's yang drunk state can be triggered by either getting royally pissed off, suffering a little too long in the heat, or by getting incredibly stressed out. If you see them struggle to walk straight, and their eyes start changing, it's probably best to get them somewhere quiet and cool so they can try to recover.

there's some sense of apprehension in caesor's gut when he realizes that his suggestions aren't JUST suggestions, but more orders to be carried out. that nervousness is quickly pushed aside when he realizes that he'll get to be the one doing it. no one WANTS to be the balladeer's pet fatuus, but there's a sick grin spreading across his lips when he realizes the position he's put in. if he is able to earn favor with scaramouche, it means that caesor won't be on the recieving end of any punishment. this way they're more likely to keep rising through the ranks and would PROBABLY be privy to any secrets the fatui hold.

caesor is easily stronger than the rest of them. certainly they're all STRONG, but caesor's strength is honed and maintained through practice and dedication. they had not joined without some plan in mind, and certainly that strength is coming in handy now. it's almost a shame that caesor won't get to befriend anyone after this, but that had not been their goal from the beginning, either.

even the praise from the balladeer isn't wholly acknowledged -- not yet at least. it's one thing to be TOLD you're intelligent, but caesor has some inexplicable urge to prove it. this is why they'd joined the fatui in the first place. they want to be noticed, they want to prove their loyalty. they wanted...

( you wanted to find a cure for the very thing you're afflicted with right now. )

most thoughts vanish at the sight of the two soldiers. these must be the two that the balladeer wanted punished. they don't look all that intimidating. it's easy to get in with the harbinger's good graces if one actually took the time to understand him. cracking his knuckles, caesor steps closer, ignoring the way they glance at each other, then over his head as if he's not the one advancing on them.

THAT is annoying. "you look at me," he says, reaching for the first. caesor's fingers wrap around the man's wrist, and he pulls sharply to get his attention. "not at our Lord. i'm the one you're dealing with."

the anger might not be sudden, but caesor's anger is strong, as if it had just appeared, instead of coming in waves. how DARE they ignore him in favor of scaramouche? he's the one enacting punishment on scaramouche's behalf. caesor has just as much right to be here as the rest of them -- I'M NOT WEAK. he bends the wrist back until he hears a faint snap, and nods in satisfaction. it's enough that both of them are looking at him now.

"yeah that's right," they say. "if you had only pleased our Lord to begin with, you wouldn't be in this position. so you look at me, you don't deserve to look at him." caesor slides his fingers away from the wrist and toward the elbow. it's TEMPTING to break both arms, but the fatuus still need to write, don't they? the balladeer had said as much, and caesor doesn't want to overdo it this time. ( does that mean there will be a next time? ) they get away with twisting the arm until they hear another snap. it shouldn't be broken, but caesor can tell there will be a fracture.

with the first man cradling his arm and whimpering in pain, caesor nudges him back before grabbing the second man's arm. the man is staring at him with an expression of horror, mouthing something caesor can't understand.

then, his eyes drift back toward the harbinger, still mouthing. the meaning behind his expression is now clear: he's pleading with scaramouche to be spared. another wave of anger builds in caesor's gut, so he presses his hands to the man's cheeks, forcing eye contact.

"i said look at me," caesor snaps. "don't ignore me like i'm not here."

"what....what did the balladeer do to you?" the man whispers. "you were so nice before."

"nothing i didn't agree to," caesor says simply. "you look at me and don't look away." lowering their hands, they decide that instead of going for the arm, they're going to dislocate the man's entire shoulder.

this snap is far less satisfying, but it's enough that the fatuus is falling over, hissing and glaring up at caesor as though caesor had just done something unforgiveable. straightening back up, they turn back to the balladeer with a fainter smile on their face. he KNOWS he should feel disgusted with himself. he knows that he shouldn't have enjoyed that as much as he did. it's strange, to wrestle with both halves of his conscious and hating every bit of it. but that rush of power is undeniable; they wonder if Lord scaramouche feels the same way every time he does something himself. 

"what next?" caesor asks. because as much as he hates himself for doing it, caesor also wants more.

❝  you  were.  ❞  he  readily  agrees.  it  takes  every  scrap  of  restraint  kunikuzushi  has  not  to  laugh outright  at  caesor  calling  themself  STUPID  —  he's  putting  forth  an  effort  to  put  on  a  more  affable  facade  (  albeit  in  his  own  strange  way  )  and  assumes  INSULTING  them  wouldn't  do  him  any  favors.  no,  the  balladeer  thinks  falling  into  this  role  of  a  mentor  figure  will  pay  higher  dividends  —  particularly  if  he  can  strike  while  the  proverbial  iron  is  hot  and  he's  at  his  most  suggestible.  to  that  end,  kunikuzushi  merely  listens  along,  lips  curved  in  an  invitingly  tranquil  tilt  as  he  observes  over  the  rim  of  his  teacup.  ❝  try to commit  whatever  SHAME  you  feel  right  now  to  memory ...  i'm  sure  you'll  think  twice  before  doing  something  so  foolish  ever  again.  ❞  the  balladeer's  tone  gives  the  impression  that  he  intends  to  give  worldly  advice  —  yet  the  words  are  as  TOXIC  as  they  come.  he's  curious  to  see  what  impression  they  might  leave  once  caesor  comes  back  to  his  senses.

...  he's  equally  curious  to  see  what  other  ways  he  can  WARP  them,  like  shaping  a  piece  of  useless  metal  into  a  fine  blade.  this  all  began  as  a  petty  way  to  punish  a  disobedient  subordinate  —  but  depending  on  the  results,  the  sixth  thinks  he  may  very  well  have  use  for  him  after  all.

❝  a  few  broken  bones ...  ❞   the  balladeer  echoes  thoughtfully.  a  scrap  of  something  GENUINE  bleeds  into  that  insincere  smile.  (  finally,  an  answer  he  can  work  with.  )  ❝  it's  true,  if  one  can't  fight  for  their  harbinger,  they're  effectively  stripped  of  all  value ...  but  snapping  an  arm  doesn't  necessarily  mean  they  can't  toil  away  filling  out  paperwork  while  they  wait  for  it  to  heal.  ❞  a  soft  laugh,  then  he  mutters,  ❝  though  i'd  assume  some  of  them  might  consider  that  a  PUNISHMENT  in  its  own  right ...  ❞  human  bodies  truly  are  inefficient.  he  can't  imagine  trying  to  pilot  something  so  prone  to  BREAKING  DOWN  and  being  put  out  of  commission  for  months  on  end  from  one  minor  injury.  that  hardly  accounts  for  the  myriad  of  other  inconveniences  that  could  leave  them  otherwise  indisposed  —  sickness,  poison,  even  their  old  wounds  can  still  pose  a  threat  to  their  fragile  little  lives  if  treated  IMPROPERLY.  truly,  how  they  have  managed  to  survive  for  so  long  is  a  mystery  he  will  never  be  able  to  unravel. 

❝  i  think  that's  enough  tea.  ❞  kunikuzushi  says  abruptly  —  and  rises  before  the  other  has  a  chance  to  PROTEST.  swift  steps  take  him  to  the  door;  the  look  he  shoots  caesor  over  his  shoulder  he  wants  (  demands  )  them  to  follow.

their  destination  is  only  a  short  walk  away  —  even  SHORTER  than  the  trek  to  his  office.  there  is  nothing  particularly  unusual  about  the  room  kunikuzushi  stops  them  in  front  of.  nothing  distinct  that  could  serve  as  any  clue  to  its  contents.  he  merely  raises  a  hand  to  get  their  attention  —  not  looking  to  see  what  kind  of  expression  caesor  might  be  wearing.  (  perhaps  because  he  can  already  IMAGINE  how  he  looks;  confusion  is  only  natural.  )  ❝  when  you  actually  decided  to  use  your  HEAD,  your  ideas  weren't  terrible.  ❞   the  balladeer  starts  to  say.  something  feels  terribly  off  about  the  praise  —  as  if  each  word  is  akin  to  the  tightening  of  a  snare  around  his  neck,  a  bear  trap  slowly  digging  metal  teeth  into  his  ankle.  caesor  is  already  in  too  deep  to  run  away  now.  perhaps  it's  been  that  way  for  a  while.  perhaps  from  the  moment  they  turned  their  gaze  to  the  fatui.  ❝  in  fact,  i  think  i'm  so  impressed ...  i'd  like  to  put  your  SUGGESTIONS  into  practice.  ❞

he  barely  gives  them  enough  time  for  the  implication  to  register,  already  turning  the  doorknob.  the  inside  of  the  room  is  as unremarkable as its exterior  —  to  such  a  degree  some  might  even  call  it  PLAIN.

the  only  thing  of  note  are  the  pair  of  soldiers  waiting  within.  heads  snap  up  in  unison;  their  faces  appear  pale  and  frightened  beneath  their  masks.

Symbols of the Signs

For all the Signs, the glyph is a simplistic representation of the animal (or person) that symbolizes the sign. These animals/person are directly correlated to the stellar constellations from which the signs originate. 

The glyph for Aries is symbolic of the Ram’s horns.

The glyph for Taurus is quite clear - it’s a bulls head and horns.

The glyph for Gemini is two lines joined together, which represents the twins. 

The Glyph for Cancer can be interpreted in two ways – as breasts, or a Crab’s pinchers. Breasts have always been an almost exclusively feminine symbol, but more than that, they have maternal and nurturing associations. Mothers feed life-giving milk to their newborns through their breasts, in an extremely bonding experience.Breasts allow mother’s to give life and sustenance to their children, providing and protecting their beloved offspring.

The glyph of Leo represents the Lion’s head and mane.

The glyph for Virgo is thought to depict the sexual organs, with a tail that wraps inwards, closing itself to the world. This, in contrast to the symbol for Scorpio, which is similar, except that the tail points outward and upward in an arrow. This symbolizes the internalization of their energy, both mental and physical.

The glyph for Libra can be interpreted in a few different ways - a setting sun, scales, or an “approximately equal to” sign. Ultimately, though, the Scales is the primary interpretation for Libra’s glyph. 

The glyph for Scorpio is thought to depict the sexual organs, with a tail that points outward and upward in an arrow. This, in contrast to the symbol for Virgo, which is similar, except that the tail wraps inwards, closing itself to the world. The tail of Scorpio pointing upwards symbolizes their need for action and striving for something higher. Scorpio is strongly associated with sex, and while sex is, at its most basic, a physical act, Scorpio symbolizes the mental, metaphysical, and spiritual, side of sex - the side that is about connecting to another person, rather than acting to achieve pleasure.

The glyph for Sagittarius is straightforward - an arrow. The Arrow symbolizes a desire for action, higher purpose, and abundance. An Arrow is pulled back with the bow, and held and constrained, before being released into the air to seek out its target, and in this way. Sagittarius’s symbol of the Arrow represents freedom.

The glyph for Capricorn is a little more intricate than others. Ultimately, though, the “v” represents the goat’s body (or beard) and the curling “S” represents the tail of a fish  - these portray Capricorn’s symbol of the Sea Goat. 

The glyph for Aquarius is quite straightforward - it’s simply two waves. Much confusion arises from the elemental category of Aquarius. The name, symbol, and glyph all seem very water-like. Aquarius (despite the “Aqua” and “water-“carrier) is an Air Sign, because they are intellectual, social, and logical. Aquarius is like waves on a lake/ocean - while the waves themselves are water, what’s causing them to move? Wind. Aquarius, The Water Carrier, is like the wind pushing water. Hence the Aquarian glyph being waves.

The glyph for Pisces represents two fish (the curved vertical lines) connected (by one horizontal line). 

Symbols for the Planets.

The symbol for the Sun is a circle with a dot in the middle of it. Historians aren’t entirely sure what it’s origin is, but it is the same symbol ancient Egyptians used to represent Ra – the Sun God. It also may represent a shield. 

The symbol for the Moon is representative of how the Moon looks while in the Crescent, or last quarter, Phase. This is one of the few straightforward symbols in Astrology, as it is a simplistic image of what the ancient people saw in the sky, and what we, today, still see. 

The symbol for the Mercury is modeled after the winged messenger god it was named after. The Symbol is a circle with a cross beneath it, and two curved horns on top – this represents Mercury’s winged helmet on top of his caduceus (a special type of staff carried by heralds). 

The symbol for Venus represents the Goddess’s hand mirror. Interestingly, this symbol has also come to represent “female”. This isn’t entirely surprising, considering Venus was the Roman Goddess of beauty and femininity. 

The symbol for Mars represents the Shield and Spear carried by the Roman God of War for which he was named after. This symbol has come to represent “male,” which is understandable, since War was considered a man’s task and occupation for most of human history. 

The symbol for Jupiter is more complex, and has many potential meanings. It could represent the hieroglyph for an Eagle (which was the God’s bird), or it could represent a lightening bold (Jupiter’s weapon). 

The symbol for Saturn looks similar to a decorative “h,” but is actually representative to the God’s Sickle or Scythe. Saturn is the Roman god of agriculture, so the symbol is linked to him.  

There are two variations for the symbol of Uranus. The First of which appears to be a combination of the symbol for the Sun, and the symbol for Mars. This implies it combines the two motifs, because Uranus personified the heavens in Roman Mythology, which were ruled by the Sun’s light and Mars’s power. The Second symbol for Uranus is far more complex. It is a circle, with a cross branching out of the top, and two brackets on either side of the cross. First proposed by Lalande in 1784, he wrote to the discoverer of Uranus, William Herschel, that “un globe surmonté par la première lettre de votre nom” – a globe surmounted by the first letter of your name. 

Neptune is named after the Roman God of the Sea, and the symbol of the planet represents the Sea God’s trident. 

Like Uranus, there are two symbols that represent Pluto. The former is the more straightforward – it looks like the letter “p” combined with the letter “l” – both for the letters in the name of the planet, and the initials of the astronomer, Percival Lowell, who predicted its discovery. The second, however, is more complex. The symbol is similar to that of Mercury, with the Arc lifting the circle off of the cross, rather than resting on top of the circle. It has ties in Alchemy, and is often read as spirit over mind, transcending matter. 

Symbols for the Aspects

The symbol for the Conjunction is single circle, with a single line stemming off. This implies a single location, wherein multiple energies lie. (Compare to the symbol of the Opposition).

The symbol for the Sextile is an Asterisk, representing the 60 degree angles. 

The symbol for the Square is very straightforward – it’s simply a square, representing both the name, and the 90 degree angle of this aspect. 

The symbol for the Trine is a Triangle, which correlates with the name, and the 120 degree angles that compose this geometrical shape.  

The symbol for the Opposition is are two circles, connected by a line. This represents two objects resting on opposite sides of the Chart. (Compare to the symbol of the Conjunction). 

The Dualities

The Dualities are a symbolic representation of the Sign, and whether its energy is focused inwards or outwards. This depicts where they pull their strength, and what their general focus is. Depending on the individual, these two groups can be called “Yin/Yang,” “Positive/Negative,” “Passive/Assertive,” “Introverted/Extroverted,” or “Masculine/Feminine.” I use the last. In the Astrological sense, “Masculine” and “Feminine” have less to do with the colloquial implications of “manly” or “girly,” and more to do with expression of impulses or desires.

Masculine Signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius) are impulsive, outgoing, and focused on their external environment. These Zodiac Signs are direct and energetic, drawing their strength from direct action and socialization.

Feminine Signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces) are premedative, reserved, and focused on their internal environment. These Zodiac Signs are receptive and magnetic, drawing their strength from time alone, with their own inner reserves. 

The Modalities

Also referred to as the Quadriplicities, this divides the Signs intro groups of four. It’s a fundamental characterization of the Zodiac Signs, as it represents how each Sign interacts with the outside world.

Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are efficacious and self-starters. Cardinal Signs are the starters and initiators - they take the lead and make things happen, rather than merely sit back and watch. They’re independent, ambitious, and domineering visionaries. While they easily start things, finishing them isn’t as easy for them. These individuals have an abundance of confidence and are easily assertive.

Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) are focused and determined. Fixed Signs are steady and stable, with a consistent energy that’s smooth and tolerant. They’re internally and externally powerful, and can both start and finish projects. However, these people are prone to stubbornness and have a strong dislike for change. Fixed Signs prefer to pursue goals in a safe and orderly format.

Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) are flexible and adaptable. They exhibit changeable behavior and their adaptability is often quite unpredictable. They’re flexible and can make the most of a situation. They’re very open-minded and welcome new ideas, which also causes them to have a tendency towards being ambiguous which can cause them to lose direction. This all allows them to make the best out of most situations.

The Triplicities

Also referred to as the Elements, this divides the Signs into groups of three. It’s a fundamental characterization of the Zodiac Signs, as it represents how each Sign expresses their energy, temperament, and other basic personality traits.

Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are vital and intense. These Zodiac Signs are full of enthusiasm and passion, and are known for being impulsive and intuitive, often rushing into action without spending much time planning ahead. They have great potential to be both creative and destructive. People with strong Fire influences are born with a strong sense of self, and may seem egoistic, but, like the element itself, they need to spread and explore and never get stuck on themselves for too long.

Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) are practical and stable. These Zodiac Signs are known for solidity and stability – Earth is the foundation for our homes and lives. They preference for experience life via their senses, and have a tendency to take life at a slower and more thorough pace. While “Earth” often conjures images of dirt, rock, and mud, this element also encompasses plants. This Element supports life both directly and indirectly (Earth allows plant growth, which feeds humans and animals) People with strong Earth influences have a strong desire for comfort in material items and consistency, occasionally to the point of possessiveness and unwillingness to change.

Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) are social and intellectual. These Zodiac Signs navigate through life by using their minds, and sometimes tend to have a space between real life and their observing mind. For that reason, they often seem detached and aloof. They can be rather elusive, unpredictable, and eccentric. People born with strong Air influences enjoy social interactions and communication, and often lack emotional depth despite their intellectual advancement.

Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are intuitive and emotional. These Zodiac Signs are full of compassion and empathy. They’re known for being mysterious and complex, often hard to understand, despite their ability to understand others. When water is contained, like a pool, it is enjoyable and therapeutic. However, when it is unconstrained, water has intense power and is capable of great damage, like a flood. Similarly, people born with strong Water influences are capable of both healing and destruction. 

The Luminaries include the Sun and the Moon; so named, because they light up the sky. Similarly, these two “planets” shine the brightest in a Chart, and can shed the most light on a native or event. They compose the basics of our identity – how we act, and how we react.  

The Personal Planets include the terrestrial planets - Mercury, Venus, and Mars. These are the planets that are closer to Earth, dense, and have (relatively) small orbits. These affect how we treat ourselves, what we want for ourselves, what decisions we make, what we like, dislike, and value.

The Social Planets include the jovial planets - Jupiter and Saturn. These are the planets that are far from Earth, low in density, and have (relatively) large orbits. These affect how we treat others, how we view society, and how we want to interact with the world at large.

The Generational Planets include the planets furthest from Earth, with very (relatively) large orbits - Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. These planets take a long time to traverse the Zodiac, and spend several years in each Zodiac Sign. These often impact the generational differences we see in human lives. In fact, the Baby Boomers, Generation X. Generation Y (and Generation Z) line up with Pluto’s movement through Virgo, Libra, Scorpio (and Sagittarius). These influence significant amounts of people, so their effects are more apparent generation-to-generation rather than individual-to-individual. 

There is also division between the “Masculine” and the “Feminine” Planets. Masculine Planets are assertive and active, while Feminine planets are passive and reactive.

The Masculine Planets imply how we outwardly act. The manifestation of these planet’s traits in a Native can be observed. Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus are considered to be Masculine.

The Feminine Planets describe how we react, or feel, due to external (or internal) events. The manifestation of these planets cause the Masculine planets to take action. Therefore these planet’s traits in a Native are harder to observe. The Moon, Venus, and Neptune are considered to be Feminine. 

Mercury is considered to be Androgynous, as it has both Masculine and Feminine traits. 

(Remember: Masculine and Feminine in astrology don’t mean “manly” or “girl,” but simply refer to the inner/outer direction of energy.)

The Houses represent different spheres of our lives – different themes in the world. The First house is the house of self-identity, tenth house is career, 4th house is our home life, etc. They’re the “where” of the natal chart.

The Houses are divided into three categories: Angular (Action), Succedent (security) and Cadent (learning). This correlates with Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable Signs.

The Houses are also associated with Elements: Fire (identity), Earth (material), Air (Social & intellectual), and Water (Soul & Emotional).

Angular, Cadent, Succedent

The progression of the Houses in terms of Angular, Succedent, and Cadent follow the flow of life experience: we act, consolidate the results of our actions to gain security, and we learn from what we have done and become aware of what must be done next. Then, we act again.

These are correlated with the Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable quality of the Signs.

Angular Houses - 1, 4, 7, 10

Angular Houses are Houses of action. These Houses form the basic structure and framework for the rest – the rest of the Houses build upon these houses. These show how we make contact with reality, and how we deal with our present situation.

Succedent Houses - 2, 5, 8, 11

Succedent Houses are Houses of Security. These Houses are associated with individual desires and the areas in our lives we want to control. These show how we develop, administrate, and enjoy the things we started in the Angular Houses.

Cadent Houses - 3, 6, 9, 11

Cadent Houses are Houses of Learning. These Houses are the areas where information is gathered, analyzed, exchanged, and distributed. This is where we learn and communicate. Because Cadent Houses fall after Succedent and before Angular, they represent both the analyzing we do after acting and the thinking (or lack thereof) we do after acting.

Elements of Houses

Each House is also associated with an Element, and each group of three is known as a “Trinity.” Traditional Astrology has given each a label to guide in understanding each.

Fire Houses – Trinity of Life - 1, 5, 9

These Houses represent one’s attitude towards life, and the experience of being alive. They represent our aspirations and motivations, and our sense of confidence and faith in ourselves. These Houses are where we form our identity, our sense of being – as such determines our attitude towards life in general.

Earth Houses – Trinity of Wealth - 2, 6, 10

These Houses represent how we try to satisfy our needs in the practical world. They represent building, doing, achieving, acquiring, and defining our purpose in life by the status and security achieved. These Houses are where we deal with the material world, and therefore vocation, career ambitions, and productivity.

Air Houses – Trinity of Relationships - 3, 7, 11

These Houses represent social contacts and relationships, along with concepts and ideas. They represent life in the mind and in relationships. These Houses are where we deal with discovering and expressing the importance of specific ideas and theories, through a sense of mutual understanding with others.

Water Houses – Trinity of the Psyche - 4, 8, 12

Pristin V: Sun and Moon

💕Hello! I wanted to do this before promotion period is over but I might be too late! Anyways, in celebration of such a successful debut here is a lil about Pristin V sun and moon signs!💕

💕disclaimer: i’m no expert on astrology but these are my interpretations of the signs and how they’re working based on my experiences with them. Everyone has different opinions and studies in astrology, all interpretation and experiences within the realm is valid. However feel free to make your own post or skip if you strongly disagree. There might be inaccuracy and difference in opinions. But the point of this post is to relate, entertain and have a fun time. I’m hoping to validate people with similar experiences and get people excited about the girls+ astrology. Also, since we don’t know most of their birth times, I’m using the standard 12.00pm💕

Im Nayoung

December 18 1995 (Seoul, South Korea) Sagittarius Sun/Scorpio Moon

Sagittarius suns are so friendly and typically easy going. Unlike their archetype they typically don’t appear to be very extroverted. Rather, they embody a philosopher, they like contemplations and introversion, a little time away to catch their breath and center themselves always helps. 

But their energy and zest for life makes them constantly bounce back brighter than ever and typically enjoys hanging out with those that they grew close to. 

Sagittarius natives tends to have a group of friends that they can be themselves with. These people are considered strictly ‘friend’ and they tend to keep their business and private life very separated. 

They are adept at social gatherings however. Often coming across as very credible or expansive individuals and impressing strangers upon first impressions every time. This is the influence of Jupiter as their ruler, as it brings good luck and integrity in the character- shines a light on the better qualities of a person. 

Jupiter also symbolizes higher studies and travels, Sagittarius natives tends to bring in their own experience from their introspective sessions into the conversations and make it seem so vivid and impressive.

They never  come as too grandiose or overly dramatic, but their experiences and how much they invest into developing their own life can draw people into them because of how honest and sincerely they are when they’re talking about it. 

Often times they also draw inspirations from their travels or people they’ve met, as they tend to make connections easily and sees the potential in others before many realizes this themselves. 

Sagittarius are pretty easy going signs, but they often feel best when traveling alone to different places. This is much different than any fire-air signs that they know, because as the signs grow older there tends to be a need for more introspection within themselves. Sagittarius still needs activity much like the other fire signs, but in Sagittarius it can take form of a sage trying to figure themselves out in nature. 

Nayoung has her Sagittarius sun in the 3rd decan, which is influenced by Sun/Leo. This amplifies her Sun’s behaviour even more, especially the introspective trait of the Sagittarius. 

Both Sagittarius and Leo tends to have a bit more of an enriched inner-world than the baby Aries. Although Leo tends to retrieve more so into themselves, and shows their introspection directly when it’s in Moon placement. The Sagittarius sun really brings out this trait in her, making her seem like a much deeper thinker and help her grow connected to her subconscious than typical 1st decan Sagittarius. 

In a way it can be good for her too, since Leo makes her self-expression and self-confidence stronger. She’s stabilized with the influence of the Actual Sun working with her Sagittarius Sun. She may exhibit a stronger charisma, more confident and humble demeanor when she’s performing, and some creativity that pushes the contemplative nature of Sagittarius into externalizing itself. 

Leos are known to be pretty decent and humble people, often their sense of self expressions can come across as overly dramatic especially with Sagittarius in there as well. Nayoung probably has her moments where she seems to completely lose her shit over the smallest thing, but it can be very endearing and flighty so it’s not a big deal. 

Sagittarius really helps her here, because even when they ARE overdramatic they’re so convinced that it was worth it that it becomes confidence. She can be dramatic sometimes of course, but unlike often her Sagittarius will bring out the regal and honorable look to her and make her seem better in situations instead of ridiculous (Jupiter’s luckiness/expansion making her ‘appear’ better) 

With her Scorpio Moon in first decan, it really brings to point how rich her inner world is. Often she has to battle through emotional transformation and intensity that can overwhelm her, possibly her Sun is externalizing these in her performances to lessen the load it can have on her psyche.  

With Scorpio combined with her Sagittarius Sun/Leo Decan, Nayoung has an intensity about her that transforms her on stage and off stage. Leo talks about performance and Scorpio-natives have the innate ability to ‘transform’ under circumstances (Gemini placements have this as well)  

However, due to how intense Scorpios can be and how sensitive Leo placements are, if her feelings (Moon) is hurt she can be prone to lashing out in an over-dramatic fashion. But it’s not without sense, she feels things so intimately and strongly that sometimes the way she copes or handle these things aren’t enough for her to express it fully.

People with intense placements like Scorpio Moon tends to internalize and bottle up alot of their emotions, but with an external sun like Sagittarius ruled by Leo- it’s abit healthier than say a water-sign mars. Even though she might need some time to learn how to not lash out or fully express herself better. 

Since her sun is her ego and how she expresses herself, it’s an immediate response. If her feelings/ideals are hurt or unheard she tends to react first and then fully realize her thoughts later. It’s like a well of emotions ready to burst, but when it does burst not everything is flowing out fully you know? 

Anyways, having a Scorpio moon does help her Sun because it pushes her to develop her fire-sign traits better. Even though Scorpio natives tends to get the short end of the stick in terms of healthy-placements, it IS and WILL work well for some people in context and circumstances. 

Kim Minkyung (Roa)

July 29 1997 (Chuncheon, South Korea) Leo Sun/Gemini Moon

Now here we have a Leo Sun who’s ruled by the Sun as well! (1st decan ruled by Leo/Sun)

In terms of placement this is the healthiest placement in the whole team since her sense of self-expression and ego is strongly rooted and stabilized.

People don’t tend to realize that Leos and Scorpios needs alot of stability in their life, they can’t really handle instability and everyone starts off kind of under-developed (even if Scorpio rules transformation) 

Having this placement Minkyung really doesn’t have to show off for anyone to know there’s no way to change her mind/herself unless she wants to.

Leo’s sun in a healthy decan tends to be more quiet or subdued than let’s say Nayoung’s Sagittarius sun. Because Sagittarius needs to express itself outward to be heard, but Leo has that immovable stability and self-confidence that emanates from within themselves.

Minkyung really does have that kind of confidence in her expression, in daily life and during performance. It makes her performance believable, because she’s just always full of charisma in her daily life anyways. 

With Leo being a sign of performance, it’s really no wonder she feels most comfortable on stage. Once she’s been in the industry long enough, you can expect her to have good public appearance and ratings on variety tv shows since her personality/persona is already set to be comfortable in the realms (whether or not she chooses to be more outgoing in the field or shy away from it entirely since Leo can be shy, that’s up to her) 

She could also be a very good actress , since Leo natives tends to place themselves more seriously in their careers than others. She might like the sort of process that comes when dealing with plays and acting because it gives her more structure and she knows what she’s going into. 

Leo’s aren’t known to like spontaneous circumstances in particular, in fact they can be rather traditional and prefer to stick to some sort of guidelines that they know will happen. They’re often great with the circumstances, but it doesn’t mean they’ll like being put on the spot like that. 

This is true even for her Gemini Moon also working in the 1st decan, with this placement she’s ruled by Mercury and loves to work with larger groups of people and context she can somewhat work within flexibly. 

Gemini moon natives also tend to have this tendency to ‘transform’ themselves on and off stage, although they don’t go out of their way to ‘hide’ themselves- idols with Gemini Moon tends to have a similar intensity as Scorpio placements. 

Why is this? It’s because Gemini is like their sign, the twins. There’s a need to have a  ‘complete persona’ at hand in order to facilitate different placements in their charts. Having any placements in Gemini is like having a whole entire natal dedicated to that particular aspect. There’s a subconscious need for ‘completeness’ and ‘balance’ since the twins here can symbolize yin-yang and fufillment within oneself as well. 

It’s probably a good advice for anyone with a Gemini placement to look into their persona chart, particularly the one that they’re placed in. (I.e. Gemini Venus > Venus persona chart) Since it can become more of a complex sign, for the sake of not going on for too long,  the  I’m just going to shorten it to just natal for her. 

Gemini moons often finds that their emotions are also entirely separate persona from the rest of them, sure they might need a lot of mental stimulation from others and tends to be externally-heavy (i.e. hangs out with people a lot, friend-oriented , finds comfort in interacting with others) but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t tired or feel some kind of ways about it. 

This is because the rest of their chart has other aspect and placement going on that their moon typically just overlooks or ignore completely. It would be great for them to look deeper at this issue and try to resolve it by understanding and accepting themselves, as well as trying to meditate between their different signs/placement. 

In a way, Gemini moon natives would need to act like a third person who has to mediate between themselves sometimes. But doing so they have to learn to do it healthily and not actively hate or be exasperated by their placements/signs. 

Accepting and loving themselves can be hard for them, since they typically need to rest often and intense introspective work can be very taxing to do. 

With Minkyung’s Leo sun and Gemini moon combination you can see how she’s meant to shine in the spotlight (Leo sun) but also feels comfortable in low-key socializing situation. I can imagine her being powerful on stage, but off stage she handles social interactions with other idols and members very well too. 

Other people connects to her, both through her sense of self-expression (Leo sun) and her ability to connect and relate to others (Gemini moon) - she’s not much of a feelings or intense kind of person, but she gives enough to others to keep them coming to her.  

Jung Eunwoo

July 1 1998 (Bucheon, South Korea) Cancer Sun/Libra Moon

A queen whom I love 💕

Eunwoo is a Cancer sun in the first decan, this means her sun (ego) is also ruled by the Moon (emotions) 

Everything you see on her face is what she feels on the inside, people with their self-expression/ego (sun) that’s influenced by their emotional responses/inner self (moon) typically reveals themselves and their true feelings much easier than any other placements.

With Cancer in her, especially in her sun she can tend to shift and change her expressions/feelings a lot faster than the rest of the members. 

Instead of thinking of her as ‘switching’ between her public persona and her personal one, it’s more of just a slight ‘shift’ in her overall temperament in order to come across a certain way instead.

She’s not transforming anything like that, she’s just embodying the feelings. 

If she needs to get into a stage persona, she can focus and narrow down on a ‘feeling’ and use it to express herself instead. It’s like a liar fooling themselves and tricking the lie detector as well.  That’s how her Cancer sun seems to be for her. 

Now people with Cancer placement tends to be kind and abit awkward, they’re like a crab you know? Sometimes they can hide things if they feel like the other person isn’t receptive to their thoughts, but they’re true to their feelings for most of the time. They’re not confrontational, but they’re quite stubborn. They tend to resort to passive-aggressive stance sometimes (especially with Cancer Mars) but they’re generally very sensitive and tends to come out sobbing in normal circumstances (they’re cuties) 

People with Cancer natives in their Sun tends to be very endearing people since they focus so much on emotional intelligence. They’re adept at handling their emotions well and knowing when to use and back off from others.

They tend to processing their thoughts and feelings at a rapid pace. In Cancer, there’s no angsty emotional turmoil like Scorpio nor altruistic self-sacrificial suffering like Pisces. Emotions tends to be processed faster and in a way, more simplistic than the others. 

It doesn’t mean it’s not intense or very emotional, they are. But it’s feelings in it’s raw form, not something processed through the lens of self-suffering nor a bigger purpose. It helps them understand on the basic principle, what feelings are and how to use them better than any other signs out there. 

This helps them to understand others around them, particularly people close to them and provide/teach them a lot better. Since they’re not so caught up in themselves all the time, Cancers can have the ability to push their feelings away if only for a moment in order to deal with the situation at hand better. If someone needs comforting, a Cancer sun native will provide for them in the best possible way.

They’re literally the embodiment of what one should do in order to process emotions healthily (ideally- in a very developed Cancer placement), and although they can still have a hard time dealing/working through it themselves- the resources and help they provide innately for others (often when they’re not thinking about it/when its not intentionally malicious/spiteful) can be overwhelmingly helpful. 

Especially in the equally awkward Capricorn and Virgo signs, who has a much harder time even understanding or realizing that they have feelings at all. Cancer’s influence provides alot of insight and help in building a healthier lifestyle for other signs out there. 

Cancer rules the 4th house, which is the house of family, childhood and nurturing. They can sometimes have mummy-issues, but typically it’s more like a mummy-complex. They tend to be more in-tune and attached to their inner selves. And often have very stabilizing and internal grounds inside of themselves that they spring board from, which is an admittedly pretty healthy thing to do?

Now Eunwoo’s moon itself is in Libra, which is ruled by Venus and it’s in the 1st decan. People with Libra placement tends to exhibit a more busy-body kind of attitude. Although her Cancer sun might be shy, she loves to help others out and would do things for her friends/close families all the time.

People with Cancer/Libra placement has an emphasis on their nurturing and softer qualities, unlike her performance persona- Eunwoo in her daily life is quite endearing. She might be a soft and sweet women who cares for others deeply and tries to do everything for them. 

It’s compassion, but it’s not the same compassion that comes from deep-rooted/intense signs like Capricorn, Leos or Pisces. Libra/Cancer compassion tends to come from the basic principle of loving people, loving society and trying to keep peace at all time. 

There’s a need for balance here, and unlike Pisces she won’t be willing to give more once she realize it’s a lost cause. In Libra which is an air-sign, the responses of others around her really contributes to her actions, she’s not going to be willing to give more/sacrifice more if others don’t tend to need it/want it. But at the same time, it’s a fast-moving sign and she will adapt pretty quickly to social situation and needs.

She’s adept at social cues, since Libra Moons are pros at trying to understand others. In a way it can be frustrating to herself since her own emotions aren’t allowed to fully be expressed without her being anxious/paranoid about over-balancing her external circle of friends/associates. 

Although it can charm her into anyone’s heart, her own Cancer placement’s darker emotions can be suppressed/repressed in order to express just the lighter ones. With Libra working on her Moon and Cancer on her sun, it can become a situation much like a Taurus moon native who takes pleasure and comfort too far that they neglect their darker, more ‘dangerous’ feelings/thoughts. 

Eunwoo is a cutie pie honestly, but she probably has to learn how to fully feel comfortable expressing herself (her sun) without thinking she’s going to overbalance others with her feelings/thoughts. The interference of her moon working on her might feel uncomfortable every single time she has to confront others (she’s non-confrontational) but it can lead to her suppressing her emotions and exhibiting bad habits/traits of her sun instead. 

If she learns how to let it out consistently and get more practice in doing so, as well as external validation and encouragement from friends (something like ‘hey I really appreciate you opening up about your anger/sadness to me instead of keeping it all to yourself it really helps me understand and communicate with you better’) - it’ll really help her bring out the best of herself and fully flourish every other placements in her chart as well. 

Kang Yebin (Rena) 

October 19 1998 (Ilsan, South Korea) Libra Sun/Libra Moon

Queen Yebin coming in with that double Libra placement!

Yebin has her sun in Libra ruled by the 3rd Decan (Mercury/Gemini) and her moon ruled in the 2nd Decan (Uranus/Aquarius) making her exhibit a much stronger and sharper charm in her thoughts and words than Eunwoo does.

See here’s the difference between Libras in different decans, with Eunwoo she’s ruled by Venus which makes her Libra exhibit it’s softer, compliant and sweet-natured side rather than focusing on bringing her opinions and thoughts to the forefront sometimes. 

But with Yebin who’s Libra moon is ruled in the 2nd Decan, her thoughts/intellect is a part of herself she knows and values and often uses it to bring arguments into her favor. There’s less need to compromise herself in order to charm or affluent anyone to see her way, instead she fully realize she can do this just by a sound and solid argument, as well as a well-placed banter.

Libra in Venus is like seeing someone and being charmed into looking at them,  Libra in Aquarius is like a phase that gets stuck in your head for days and change your entire perspective on things. 

As an air-sign combo Yebin has such a huge emphasis on her ability to speak/express herself to the outside world on a mentally stimulating level. She might not have used charm or charisma like the other members, but her individuality and sharper edges makes her stand out and keeps her in mind of the audience- typically seen in her performances. 

Since both of her sun and moon is still in Libra, there’s obviously the influence of Venus making her more charming and appealing than the typically Aquarius native or Gemini native. Perhaps more so in her physical appearance and her light-hearted emotional response, she tends to get along well with others and people like her naturally because of how friendly she comes across. 

Yebin is so much more than just a pretty face however, she’s such a social butterfly when she’s comfortable. Mental stimulation and engagement from others is key and vital to her being, she’s ruled by all three air signs and that brings such an emphasis on her needing social interactions in order to feel better/progress herself. 

With all the exposure Pristin V is getting, it’s not wonder she shines so vibrantly. Every comeback Pristin has, Yebin probably feels rejuvenated being able to interact with an audience and so many different idols. she’s a social butterfly but also a hard worker, often finding ways to improvement and works best when there’s stimulation of others around her in this situation/context. 

Now let’s touch on her signs separately. With a Libra sun in 3rd decan (Mercury/Gemini ruled) She’s much more logical and sharper than how she appears to be. 

There’s an emphasis on time-sensitivity, since Gemini’s influence can tire the Libra out easily, so it’s probably healthy to set an allocated timeframe for certain things when she knows she has the energy to do so (instead of doing it 24/7 with the intensity of say a Capricorn/Taurus) 

This means that sometimes, despite being a Libra sun she might need time away to just rest on her legs for abit. She won’t sit down, but she’ll need more time to gather herself and her energy in order to do anything more. Gemini-influence are like, a sprint runner. Not typically made for long distance but they can do it if they have to. 

This also means there’s another emphasis on indecisiveness. Again, it’s time-sensitivity. It’s not like she’s innately indecisive, it’s that after a certain period of time, she’ll lose track of her energy/drive to say/do certain things. 

Although Libras and Gemini tends to exhibit both of these traits, it has more to do with her potential. She’s fully capable of making sound and logical evaluation on people - but often she doesn’t voice it out in time. 

Because of time constraint or negligence, got distracted and tires herself out making her lose her train of thoughts. It’ll frustrates her since it can interfere with self-expression and ego, but as long as she works on developing this and reacting fast enough (with abit of fire influence) she’ll get through it easier with practice. 

Libra moon ruled by Aquarius places an emphasis on feeling comfortable in social setting by showcasing their individuality. Although they don’t have to feel pressured into trying to accommodate everyone or stretching themselves thin to become a wallflower, there’s a harmonious quality to belonging in an environment where they’re accepted as they are. 

Libra Aquarians flourish bests when they feel that even the littlest, ugliest part of themselves are loved and accepted by those around them (since they have such a hard time naturally just accepting that within themselves) they’re much more vocal and dynamic than the typical Libran natives. 

If the Aquarius is healthy and working in a developed sign, it can fully flourish and bring about more ‘emotions’ in a Libra moon. 

This expands their connection with others, which is crucial to air-signs in general. But ruling the emotions, it has that solid foundation and inner depth that other signs might look for/need. If she could use this properly she’ll be able to appear older/wiser and even appeal to other older signs like Sagittarius and Pisces as well. 

This is good because it really helps her Libra and Gemini sun build up some grounds to work on, some solid foundation on signs that are typically very loyal and steadfast, and having that backing her up would really help her expand on her Sun/Moon more. 

Zhou Jieqiong (Kyulkyung) 

December 16 1998 (Shanghai, China)  Sagittarius Sun/Scorpio Moon

OK now it’s time for our baby Kyulkyung!

She has the same Sagittarius Sun/Scorpio Moon as Nayoung, but unlike Nayoung her Moon is ruled by Cancer in the 3rd Decan.

Kyulkyung has very powerful placements working for her, her Sagittarius Sun is ruled by the Leo/Sun, and her Scorpio moon is ruled by Cancer/Moon.

This makes her a much more complicated person, but at the same time pretty straight forward as well.

Sagittarius Sun/Leo Decan are very head-strong in themselves, their sense of self and self-confidence comes from inwards and expand outwards. Kyulkyung can be quiet, and still has an aura of poise and firmness about her. 

Much similar to Nayoung’s regal sort of determination,  Kyulkyung exhibits the same demeanor. Although with her Scorpio Moon in Cancer, it can go either way on how much it’s helping her or not. 

Now, unlike Nayoung who’s Scorpio Moon uses her sun to externalize all that intensity, Kyulkyung’s intensity is filtered in a much softer and healthier dosage due to Cancer’s influence on her chart. 

The Cancer here rules the Moon, and influencing her Scorpio Moon directly helps streamline and bring about the healthier nature of Scorpio which is structure and strategy. Her emotions are enriched and just as intense as Nayeon, but instead of trying to use her Sun to push her Moon- she is fully capable of expressing her moon just by itself and coming across much better than Nayoung does when it’s not using the fire-influence. 

In a way, this gives her a duality and makes her slower to move. Her fire persona is separated from her emotions. Her sense of self and self-confidence is unrelated to what she might be feeling, and she’s much less prone to lash out than Nayoung is.

Instead, Kyulkyung can turn cold and calculative in order to get what she wants. She becomes an observer, and often displays more tact in relying on her abilities to get people to do things she wants to get done instead.

Scorpio moons are great manipulators, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Unless they are ruled entirely by their emotions (lets face it, most people aren’t) during stressful times, they’re much more prone to gently push people into the right directions and help situations by staying off the spot light that way. 

Kyulkyung’s emotions are much more forward and in controlled, despite how overwhelmed or emotional she might actually feel. The way she directs these emotions are focused and sharper, and it can almost be a sense of practicality/pragmatism in the way she does thing.

In Scorpio there’s an innate need for structure. Since everything is always moving in several different directions that one can’t control, Scorpios only comes across as ‘obsess’ because they try to regain a sense of balance/control from their external environment around them. 

With the help of Cancer in her Moon she’s much shier and awkward than people seem to realize. Often times it contributes to her feeling a bit like she’s slower to move or react emotionally- because in order to gain a resemblance of control- Scorpio moons can often resort to suppressing their feelings. 

Working on adding some air-sign qualities to her chart might benefit her overall to the public eye. Despite her strong Sagittarius making people love her, the combination of Leo-Scorpio-Cancer can make one come across as self-centered. There’s a lot of emphasis on self-improvement beyond just nurturing/caring for others that Cancer might provide. Learning to let things go, relate more to others and letting them relate to her brings a softer, harmonious charm of Libra that her other member have in bouts would benefit her a lot. 

As the youngest, incorporating strengths and growing into developing her ‘version’ of other signs/placement would help her in her career.
