The corvid let out a careful breath, leaning on the balcony and watching the lights twist across the sky. Auroras. He'd always liked them, even when he was so shitfaced that he could hardly see. There was something about the sky that always brought him comfort. That eased his soul, even in his darkest days. And these...these felt like they certainly qualified.

A soft huff of amusement crept out of his throat, even as he half-turned his head to the left to look at James. Then he smiled, a little uncertain.

"I don' need protectin', James...you got more important things t' worry about than a dusty old Qrow."
