    " Chaos and discord hide even in the smallest of cracks. I can feel it fester here. " She murmured, nodding along as he spoke. He was trying his best to get rid of her to a degree - and that was a mistake in itself.

    " I exist on all planes - you shall see me there. " And as the human world melted away, there the raven-haired goddess stood - like she had been there all along. It was unnerving, the sheer power she was exuding through this realm.

    Eris followed Sanae through the streets, growing quiet as he gave what sounded like a rehearsed spiel. " Sounds rather simple, a breeding ground of different personalities clashing. " She mewled, slitted scarlet hues shifting to and fro - between buildings. " Why create your little game~? "

It wasn't really the place of someone like Eris to be judging and observing his Game, he thought, but he really didn't want to cause that kind of hostility right out of the gate. If he gave her the most basic of information, that which Players received upon participation, then that would likely be good enough. So he cocked his chin up and grinned, finally settling into his usual easy attitude.

"Sure thing, sister. You can alter planes, right? Follow me into the next one up, and I'll show ya what we've got goin' on."

And with that he retuned his soul once again, this time moving away from the plane of existence that living humans resided on and going into the purgatory plane of the Underground. His wings did not return. Spread around them was just the same environment as before, but there were monsters everywhere, sprawling along the city and attacking some people. Those humans quickly retaliated with powers of their own, fighting for survival amidst the chaos. And those humans from the plane below seemed completely oblivious, wandering straight through the fighting and phasing through like ghosts.

"Ya say that it's not going how we want," Hanekoma continued once he knew she was behind him, "but actually the Game itself is going exactly as it should. When a person passes away in the Realground, their souls retune forcibly into this, the Underground, where we higher up present them with a death game. Basic rules: survive seven days. Each day the players get an objective they must meet from the Game Master, and reapers will use noise to block their way all the while. Players are observed and their work earns them points that'll be tallied at the end of the week. Of the surviving souls, the one with the highest points wins, and they get the chance to reincarnate back into the RG. Seems simple right?"

It’s not often Shibuya sees bona fide deities. Minor gods, sure, but this... this is a major primordial deity. The Composer can immediately tell by the dizzyingly high frequency, and the force of power radiating from Her very essence.

Her questions tempt him to retort cheekily, but he knows better than to provoke what is clearly a stronger superior being. 

“Never a dull moment, to be sure, and it keeps the ennui at bay.” He slowly cocked his head as he scrutinized her, both curious and wary.

“My name’s Joshua... I feel... like I should know you.”

You know... sometimes even I think I come up with some strange crossover ideas. Sometimes they're pretty basic, sometimes they're a bit fleshed out. One crossover that I came up with recently is a Shin Megami Tensei/The World Ends With You crossover. It all started because I have been playing SMT V: Vengeance recently and for no reason TWEWY has been in the back of my mind. So, a crossover idea formed, not helped by some kinda similar enough looking characters.

Some may or may not see it, but Hishima Sakazuki and Yuzuru Atsuta just look kinda similar to me. It's probably the hair and glasses. I also think Shiba Miyakaze looks kinda similar enough to Lucifer's human forms in SMT 3 Nocturne. Like, he almost looks like a middle ground between his old man and child forms in Nocturne.

Does anybody else kinda see it? Am I crazy?

Anyways! Considering Angels do exist in TWEWY, just in a different way compared to in SMT, living in a higher plane of existence, a plane higher than both the UG and the RG, imagine someone like Hanekoma being an old acquaintance of Lucifer's. Or, for a more fun idea, imagine Minamimoto just hopping universes and deciding to investigate the SMT universe for the hell of it. Maybe he thinks it could help in targeting the Composer. Imagine the Demi-Fiend or Nahobino encountering Pi-Face and just the chaos that could ensue.

Going back for a second to Shiba and Lucifer, I had the crazy idea earlier of imagine Shiba being a piece of Lucifer that the Lord of Chaos had separate, for whatever reason. Or maybe in a fan crossover, it could be some variation on that idea. Maybe that piece of Lucifer did not separate willingly?

Or, maybe better idea, Minamimoto meeting Lucifer and the Lord of Chaos taking a bit of an odd liking to this chaotic math-man. Maybe he sees Sho's pursuit to usurp the Composer as similar enough to pursuit to usurp the God of Law.

Overall, it's a fun crossover to play with, with how Gods and Monsters work in SMT, and with the Higher Planes in TWEWY.

EDIT: I don't know if it was like that for everybody, but on my end, after posting, the image for Yuzuru wasn't showing up, so hopefully I fixed it

Len had been preoccupied with Adjusting one of his Leg warmers. One of the Players he recently interacted with just had to point it out, which was so embarrassing for Len! Ugh...After all, Len doesn't know how he can do his Reaper-ly duties (which Len took as to just be major inconveniences to the players) when he gets embarrassing stuff like that pointed out to him!?

Ugh...Annoying! They can all shut up and let Len's Leg warmers looks however!!

But that only made his reaction to Hanekoma speaking, when he expected not to be talked to, intensify. Sure, he flinched and jumped back, but with it came him screaming a High Note. He even forgot to Turn off his Head Piece's Microphone, which made it worse! But that was thankfully short lived as he just quietened down and stared at him.

Stared quietly. Before slowly shifting closer and closer to examine Hanekoma.

"Aaaah - Depends..." He tilted his head, "Who's asking?"

Which...Was another way of him Asking back if Hanekoma is a Reaper himself, or a Player. Because either way, Len would confirm that he is a Reaper. Nothing to be ashamed of! He's proud about being a newly Reaped Reaper! Or- whatever you say...

Hanekoma leaned against the wall and watched the Game taking place. It was one of the few chances he got to interact with the reapers, and usually it was just to intervene if someone was trying to break the rules of their position. But every so often he got the chance to interact with them outside of their work, just as a stranger. A player, or someone with a sixth sense. He was usually taken for a player, but he never put the words in anyone's mouth.

This one appeared to be... Fairly new. He was pulling double-duty as an idol in his off time, and Hanekoma hadn't really dug through more than that. But he knew it was only a matter of time before the kid got hit with the crushing weight of having the existence of other people in his hands. Erasing players just to make sure you stayed alive was such a difficult thing for so many of them to get over. He wanted to observe and make sure he wasn't suffering too much. Maybe he could even prepare him ahead of time if it hadn't quite sunken in yet.

So once he saw the players had cleared out, he stepped out of the shadows and smiled lazily towards the other. His hands slipped down into his pockets and he only approached close enough to make it clear who he was talking to. "Hey there, boss. You're a reaper, right?"

bro I had just had SUCH a long KH dream. I already forgot so much just by waking up 😭😭😭 Here’s all I remember:

it was one of those 8 minute long trailers for ‘Kingdom Hearts: Life Has Meaning With You’

Sora is falling through the sky in his DDD model, and chess Xehanort is falling next to him, implying he would be your companion this game.

While falling, hsksjdjdh they both morphed into chibi versions (Sora looks like his World of Final Fantasy model) and also got cell shaded with heavy black outlines to tease this game would get a new artsyle (a mix between Wind Waker and neo twewy).

They were falling towards an island with hexagonal rocks like the Giant’s Causeway, but the hexagons were really wide, like platforms.

Later in the dream (again, I forgot a lot 💀) I think its implied that Sora is in a simulation, and every island he and (data) Xehanort go to has glitches they gotta fix. I think they occasionally hear an automated woman’s voice giving them directions or asking for help.

I don’t remember the rest, but I do remember thinking “oh no I’m waking up. Oh no, hold on to it mellll don’t let it sliiiip…. FUCK!!!!”

“Don’t worry! It’s not mine!” As though that makes her hands being covered in blood any more comforting. She cursed her luck for being caught by someone with evidence still on the palms of her hands from her last job. She should have cleaned her hands up sooner but she hadn’t had a good place nor any time to do so. She’d stuck to the alleys in hopes to avoid prying eyes. But just her kind of luck she’d run into a stranger back here. Luckily she had a cover story already set up. “I found a poor little Rattata all beaten up and took it to the Pokemon Center. Poor thing was like all kinds of bloody!”

Not a full lie. Right after her mission she had found a Rattata that looked like it’d found itself on the wrong side of a Meowth’s claws and had taken it to the Pokemon Center. A risk to be sure, she easily could have run into a Jenny there or could raised the suspicion of a Joy. But the thing was still alive and bleeding out. She couldn’t just walk away no matter how heartless she claimed herself to be. Besides it made a good excuse for why her palms were covered in blood and gave her a passing alibi. If anyone asked the Joy’s they could vouch for her. “I didn’t want anyone getting the wrong idea so like I was trying to hide back here on my way home. You wouldn’t happen to know where like a faucet or something I could wash my hands off is at would you?”
