Verses

v; Reno; as the day lights up with fire; slum kid

This is for before Reno is recruited into the Turks.  The exact ages it covers depends on my partner’s headcanons and any compromises we make, but basically, you can assume he’s pretty young.  For this verse, Reno predominantly lives in Under Four, although he spends time in Under Six as well.  He’s never been outside of the slums, however.

This is my ‘default’ verse.  If something is not specific and you’re not playing an ACC/DoC character, I’m going to assume you want this one.

Basically, it is Reno’s life after he’s been recruited by the Turks but before the events of the original game.  He is generally anywhere between sixteen and twenty-four in this timespan.  For my own sanity, there is little to no mention of anything directly plot-related to Before Crisis or Crisis Core.  So while things might get a handwave, none of the plots or events in threads here will directly tie into those canon events.  Characters from those games are more than welcome to play in this verse, as I assume that everyone exists here. <3

This is identical to my default verse, except that it’s reserved for plot lines that will tie directly into major plot points from either Before Crisis or Crisis Core.  So if you want to rewrite the SOLDIER desertion or you want to explore something while the Turks are actively working to take down the first AVALANCHE?  This is the verse you want.

v; Reno; lather the blood on your hands; during OG

For anything that happens directly during the events of the game.  If you want to rewrite the original game or create an off-shoot or anything like that, it’ll go here.  It assumes that all the events of BC/CC happened, but I might not mention them in depth unless our plot calls for it.

v; Reno; standing in the ashes of bridges I have burned; post OG generic

My default for anything post-OG is generally pre-ACC, but that said, any plot points that happen in either canon can be used or discarded as necessary for the sake of plots.  Reno is 25 at the youngest for this verse, and he’s a lot less… well.  Put it this way.  It’s the first chance that he has for the events of the original game to hit him.  It isn’t pretty.
