VERSES
You can find all the info about the verses here [x]; this is just a quick summary to help me keep everything neat. Although there’re five main verses covering from Ereinion’s childhood to his death in the Siege of Barad-dûr, I’ve divided each one of them in several smaller verses, as sometimes there are a lot of things going on there.
As this is going to be a sort of index to keep track of everything, I’ll be adding the links with the info about the AU verses once I write everything.

The sword left his hands and his chin began to tremble. Gil-galad stumbled backwards and lowered his head, hoping that angle would hide the tears starting to well in his eyes. He only wanted to help.
"But..."
He felt so small, and helpless, and everyone was leaving the fortress. A steady stream of soldiers had been flowing out from Barad Eithel to join the elven forces, and his father would soon be gone. The young prince knew not if they would see each other again, and his heart ached at the thought of it.
"But I..." Gil-galad ran a small hand across his face and sniffled. "I don't want to... part from you, Ada. I don't want to... lose you too." The boy lifted his gaze up to Fingon's, knowing too that his time in Hithlum was coming to an end. There were riders ready to take him to the coast, far away from the war assailing the north.
( @scion-of-kings liked this for a starter with Fingon ! )

❝ NO, I FORBID it, ❞ Fingon reached out to snatch the SWORD away from his son’s hands. ❝ This BATTLE is not your to FIGHT. You will live, endure and continue our LEGACY. There will be a day where YOU have to fight for the FREEDOM of our people, and perhaps for everyone in this WORLD. That day is not that DAY nor it is will be in this AGE. ❞
Placing the weapon aside, he took a step closer to his son and grabbed his shoulders, looking at him with CONCEALED fear within it. His gaze softened as he took in the features of his son. He would grow WISE, BRAVE and FAIR. Songs would be sung about Gil-galad and he would be so PROUD of him– not that he was not already. He hoped he could SURVIVE this war and he may live to see another day– to see the days where his son would rise. Findekáno was already donned in ARMOUR, bearing the emblem of Fingolfin. The crest he carries with PRIDE upon his chest.
                           ❝ You cannot go… ❞
