What to know: They are medium-key Amber/Richie coded; met online in film, TV, and music circles in early 2009. (Story begins in Fall of '09.) They hit it off, started having an age-inappropriate friendship. One night (chapter 1), she is hanging out in the woods like the Weird Girl™ that she is, and gets attacked and bit by a fairy. Instead of going to her girlfriend (Barbie) or her best friend (Ophelia), she manically drives to Zach's home a town away. This is their first in-person meeting. He lets her stay at his place for a couple of days, she flirts with him, he is panicked and flustered. They quickly start falling in love with each other, but he is trying to be a Good Boy about it.

Being a fairy now, Cass loses it a bit, and starts giving in to her darker desires. Zach, being a good friend and boy toy, helps her out with this. They try and fail (in different ways) to kill Barbie, Barbie's friend/co-worker (Lincoln), and Barbie's ex (Michael). Zach's girlfriend of one year, Allison (a werewolf), figures out that he's dating her little sister's now-ex-girlfriend, and tears Zach the fuck up! Cass finds him and heals him... by biting him and turning him into a fairy!

A lot more happens, Bad Things spans about 7-8 years, but I'll leave it here.

Monica Haze was born February 14th, 1978 to Michael & Valerie Haze, the 2nd of four girls. When she was only 7-years-old, she borderline attempted to kill her 4-year-old little sister Caroline, trying to harm her with a pair of scissors while they did arts & crafts. After this, her parents sent Caroline to live with their aunt in Chicago, and began sending Monica to a Child Psychologist. She had to repeat the 5th grade and attend summer school for 7th, though now she’s an A student. At 13, she was placed on some kind of meds; they don’t do much, if anything at all.

Monica enjoys simple things, like cheerleading, red lipstick & nail polish, making disturbing, violent and/or sexual drawings which she colors with her blood, or crushing dead, dried butterflies into powder and adding them into her paint. Monica adores butterflies. She also adores sexually corrupting her peers, guys and girls, and she adores the attention they give her. She’s recently become obsessed highly infatuated with her friend and summer fling, Victoria Miller. Victoria wants Monica to leave her alone; Victoria wants Monica. Monica knows this. Michael believes his precious baby girl will get better; Valerie has no doubt that her daughter is dangerously fucked in the head.
