Were you trying to vanquish something?" The only time that she heard of anyone having their sight taken was when her mom and her aunts got touched by a monkey.

"Tell me everything that happened before you couldn't see. Maybe I can help pinpoint what caused it." She was already thinking that a trip to the book might help. If there was a way to get answers, it would be through that.

Aiden chuckled along with him. "That wouldn't surprise me. Even if I have lived her my whole life, I'm sure there's something I haven't found yet. I just didn't take the time to look around and see what was out there. I put so much focus on my daily life and duties that I didn't get to appreciate the world around me."

She took his hand, excited to see what they would discover. "yes, I'm ready. I want to see what we can discover and just forget my worries for a day. I'll follow your lead and use what I learn for future adventures."

The Professor chuckled, and smiled. "That's the spirit, Aiden. San Francisco may be familiar, but every place holds secrets waiting to be uncovered. Even in a city you know well, there are always hidden gems, unexpected encounters, and moments of pure magic."

He extended his hand to her for her to take. "Shall we, then? Let's let the city guide us today. No maps, no plans, just pure instinct. And remember, it's not just about the destination, but the journey itself."

First off, I love ur art so much. Ur style is so amazing and the stories u come up with are so fun (or sad) and I think they're incredible.

Second, Law and Luffy at the pool headcanon bc it's over 100 degrees where I am rn. Luffy cannonballs in before they even set up their chairs and Law just stares at him. He refuses to get in, so Luffy has to surprise him and push him in. He's mad, but then Luffy laughs and all is forgiven because he is the sucker for Luffy's laugh/smile.

Truly devastating. I know too many people who have died in motorcycle accidents, people who were close to me and people who weren't. It's never easy to hear that someone died doing something that they would do for genuine fun and freedom. I'm not religious but wherever he is, I hope he found peace.

Say what you want about Chance, no one deserves this. He was 27. He was only a few years older than me. No mother, no parent or loved one deserves to get this call.

My heart goes out to his family and loved ones during this tragic time. 💔

It had been such a happy accident that the three of them ended up in a relationship together. She always thought Julio was attractive but never really thought of pursuing a relationship with him. but then when they met Alena, it just seemed to happen. She wasn't complaining. It worked for the three of them and Daisy was enjoying having so many people around.

"I have never had him push me out the door before. I know my shop is literally down stairs. But he's always one to convince me to stay home just a little longer. A new family inbound! When I say new, I mean to the sims lmao, these guys are some of my longest running ocs - from back in the early days! So glad I can finally capture this family all together cus I love them so much! Like father like son for their boy Toby, while Natalie has the most calm mind of all of them - no one knows how that happened. "Are you okay with that? I know how much the Elders like to watch things." She wanted to be sure that he was okay with sharing a bed with her. After they managed to work things out between them, they were still having to work around their relationship. She knew the Elders were not going to be pleased with this turn of events. But she didn't care. In the long run, it was their lives. If they wanted to be together, they were allowed to be. Though she hoped that they would eventually just give up. She would think they would have learned from having to deal with her parents and her aunts.

"Don't get me wrong. I would love to snuggle up against you. But the last time we tried, you got jiggled at a lot of times. Enough to give you a headache. So its whatever you want to do. I'm all for it. You know how much I love physical touch. It helps keep me grounded after all."

She did not understand him. Why was he like this with her? it was like he was playing with her emotions and she hated every second of it. she tried to keep herself calm, not wanting to cause her powers to flair. She hated that her mental state was always up in the air with him. She wished she could stop herself from caring. But every time they were around each other, she felt that pull towards him. It felt right to be around him. She had tried once or twice to forget him, move on with her life. But no matter what happened, they always seemed to cross paths. She kept shaking her head, turning away from him. She did not want him to see her tears. She did not know what his deal was. But she was hitting her limit with him. What was making him do this to her?

"You have work? seriously? That's your reason for leaving?" she sounded a mixture of astonished by how easily he said that. Did she not matter in any way to him? She ran a hand through her hair before laughing humorlessly. "You're welcome and if you did, it didn't seem like it. I wasn't going to let you face that alone." She could feel her heart ache and she placed a hand over her chest. She couldn't crumble in front of him. "Yes, you kiss someone when you want them to feel better. Not make them feel worse when you tell them you have to go." she let out a frustrated sigh, glaring at him. "No, I'm not. All I'm thinking is why I'm getting treated this way by you. What did I do to deserve that?"

It was moments like the one playing out right in front of him that he had to bring his walls back up. Make her hate you it's easier, ran through his head. He wasn't sure if easier was the operative word but he knew that if he continued being kind to her that inevitably he'd end up slipping and that was a chaos he wasn't prepared for. All he saw in that future was her anger and dying at the hands of a power of three. Not that he made it a habit to use his powers around her but sometimes fragmented pieces would come together and left him trying to figure out what his future held. Still, seeing her visibly shake only made him want to comfort her. His empathy ringing loud in his ears but he forced himself to pull back.

Her small little outburst made him nod his head miniutely. This was good. Having her pissed would be easy. "I have work," came the simple statement. His voice neutral like seeing her didn't affect him in the slightest. He supposed this was what his parents felt like whenever in the presence of her parents. "Thank you for the save back there. I had it handled by the way." Maybe being mean would get her to finally leave it alone and stop trying to seek him out. Sometimes he'd feel her and tried to shake her out of his head. "Why would you have to understand. You looked visibly upset and I thought a kiss would do the trick. You're not still thinking about the demons are you?" He hated being this way with her but the means was necessary.

Chuckling softly at the text, Kyleigh placed her phone down on the counter and made her way into her bedroom. Stepping over the clothes on the floor she went to her closet to grab the gift bag she had and placed it on the bed. How Cam managed to do everything she did with two kids now was beyond the half lycan, but she was never one to turn down a chance to celebrate the little ones special days. Making sure that her teeth were brushed, hair was pulled back, and her favorite sneakers were on Kyleigh grabbed everything else she needed, locked up her small apartment and made her way down to her car. Normally she would take her bike over to her friend's house but today was special so the car it was!

After a short drive she arrived at Cameron's house, parking in the driveway behind her friend's car. She could already hear the normal noise coming from inside, smell some food cooking and soft music playing. Rolling her shoulders she grabbed the baby's gift bag and exited her car. This was going to be an interesting day, and she couldn't wait to see what Cam had planned. Walking up the steps to the house she knocked on the door, calling out her usual greeting of: "Auntie Ky is here!"

Chuu has a vice grip on the sofa she’s sitting on if there’s more than 5 people at a party lmao. She’s not gettin up. N o p e. (Can sometimes be lured out onto the dance floor with a Waltzing number, but will rarely stay for longer than 2 songs before she’s found a way to slither out of being an active party participant. She’d rather chill and eat snacks and watch OTHER people look silly on the dance floor.)

Tuesday is ecstatic to be invited to the dance floor- but he only really knows how to do the stuffy Ishgardian Ball Dance when he first gets invited out to a party lmfao. The amount of people present doesn’t really impact his willingness to come out to the dance floor, but once he learns more ways to dance or even how to just, ‘feel it’ and make it up as he goes he gets much more excited about dancing to upbeat or quicker songs. He is Very good at not stepping on Toes :) (almost as if somebody didn’t want to deal with smushed toes…. 🤔)

Tangy is so zazzed to dance. She is…. Not the best at ballroom dancing or like, whatever you wanna call a couples dance, so. Watch your toes! It doesn’t matter how many people are there but being the center of attention can be kinda daunting :’> she’d rather dance to more upbeat music than slow dances so she’ll probs bow out for drinks and a snack during those to take a breather sjfjdkfs … pls also imagine her doing classic ‘dad’ dance moves or something from the Peanuts x3 [cut cos it’s Long 🫢]

….. 🤔 Ishi will gladly dance with a friend (or friends!) at smaller gatherings- and even invite others out to the floor x3 but at bigger more official events? She’s probably grateful for the excuse to step away from whatever Politically Charged Chat she’s been roped into regarding allied tribes or intercity relations. (She isn’t trained in dance, but will readily learn and follow somebody else’s lead •v•)

Mochiie is someone who’s reluctant to take an invite to the dance floor no matter how many people are present if there’s already people dancing and there’s not much space. He’s uh… conscious of his tail. (Poor guy sent a lalafellin couple sprawling once when he got tangled up in his feet, so he tries to be Overly Cautious now)

😂 Colette will indulge a friend in a dance, and relies more on being able to lift/twirl/dip her dance partner for flair - it’s an All-Eyes-On-Them situation. If Eorzean weapons didn’t have a habit of cracking under the pressure she’d probably be a tank. She prefers music with dramatic flair, to match her flashy dancing style. She laughs a lot more when it’s a Smaller group, there’s less performance pressures 🤧 (I should REALLY pose her dancing with Setsuna at some point… I’ll have to bug my partner for some files x3)

🤔🤔🤔 Levraut was the hardest for me to figure out. He’s classically trained in Ishgardian Dance? But he hates it. He thinks the whole thing looks silly, and he’s not so into huge parties (since they’re usually hosted by The Rich And Influential And Expect A Certain Class Of People yk) … he’d be a hilarious ‘sexy lamp’ for someone to dance with though… I think it would take him some time to feel comfortable dancing in the center of everything but he wouldn’t mind kinda grooving in place around the edges.

Until he’s 5 cups in. And then you have to haul him off the dance floor before he makes more of a fool of himself than he currently is, and tries to start a fight with the Violinist, because it quote ‘sounds like you’re killing the cat what made the strings all over again’ (regardless of if that’s true or not; a drunken Lev craves Rowdy Brawling and will Incite It)

Aiden was relieved that the woman wasn't any danger to her brother. she couldn't help her protectiveness. She learned it from her older siblings and the rest of their family. She let out a breath as she took a seat in a nearby chair. "That makes sense, given our family. But still I would appreciate some kind of heads up next time." She was happy that her brother found someone though. Maybe when things were settled on her end, she wouldn't mind meeting her.

She waved him off at his question, looking away. "Yeah, everything's fine. I think its just past high school experiences that are messing me up with my adult friendships. I sometimes wonder if I trust people too easily." she couldn't help but chuckle. "It probably would surprise you that its more of a friendship issue than a relationship one."

Letting out a small breath of a chuckle, Chris shook his head in exasperated fondness at his little sister. Why didn't he advertise his girlfriend, his soul bond to his family? The list was ten feet high and a mile long. Bianca was tasked with killing him for magic's sake--his siblings were notoriously protective and 'shoot first, ask questions later'. Hell, he and Bianca were still trying to navigate the entire soul bond thing without the interference of the cupid cousins.

"Bianca isn't just any girlfriend, that's why." He revealed, and he really didn't Wyatt finding out just yet. Chris' head tilted as she explained her mood, and his eyes narrowed in worry. "Is everything alright?"
