“Okay, before you say anything, I need you to know that this costume was not at all influenced by me, apparently he’s been reading the old Team Venture comics. And no he doesn’t know about everything and we plan to keep it that way.”

It’s never a good sign when you have to give your wife a disclaimer before letting her see your son’s Halloween costume. But here was the Monarch doing just that.

“Alright, you can come out, Bug!”

The secret door to the Egg Sac opened, revealing Donovan William Fitzcarraldo in a full child sized version the Blue Morpho’s costume, complete with grappling gun.

“Mom! Look! I’m the Blue Morpho!” Bug grinned widely, clearly proud of himself. “Dad took me to Enzo’s! He says that’s where real antagonists get their costume! Enzo even put kevlar in the lining!”

Malcolm hung his head, he knew he’d made the wrong call not telling her about any of this while it was happening. “I know. We’re partners. A united front and I shouldn’t have kept any of this from you but I was, I dunno? Scared. Talking about things with you makes them real.”

And yet it also always made things better, in their decades long relationship Sheila has never not been able to solve any problem he may be facing. She was able to soothe him, even when he was at his worst.

“I’m sorry, baby. I should’ve talked to you first.”

He meant well, he really did, by hiding all this from her.

“I was going to tell you once I had it all worked out or things began to go south. But things are looking good. Even Billy gave things a once over and there has been a lot of improvement just not as much as my doctor would like.”

That doesn't ease her worry, or her anger. Sheila understands, she does! There have been plenty of times she's kept information from him until she knew more.

"I don't care if I'm missing a tit and in danger of measles-- you do NOT. Keep shit like that from me. EVER. Do you understand? I don't care if I'm out of my fucking mind with worry about anything-- you don't. Do that, Malcolm."

She's going to have some words with those men, too. Billy, he gets away with it for the doctor-patient relationship.

But Rusty's nosy ass? Absolutely not.

Main characters of Cartoon Network rated on how they would interact with my CTCD OC Barry?

Dexter (Dexter's Laboratory) - He would mostly talk about his inventions to him, but he doesn't like it when Barry asks him obvious questions about them and how he operates it. A different one however is whenever Barry enters his lab and he might distract Dexter building his machines. 4/10

Dee Dee (Dexter's Laboratory) - She would often spin him around which makes him dizzy. She would also dance around in front of him, talk loud and be all hyper at him. Dee Dee does show to help Barry by giving him dancing lessons. 3/10

Johnny Bravo - Johnny and Barry are very tolerant and they show to get along really well. Though despite that Barry doesn't know about his(Johnny) taste in women. 8/10

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup (Powerpuff Girls) - These four together are shown to be very supportive and have a brother-sister esque bond. Blossom being the most supportive and the smartest. The two would mostly do activities that she likes such as playing games and dress up. Bubbles finds him adorable since she really loves animals and gives him hugs, Buttercup is much of a tough cookie and tomboyish when around him, but she does care for him and his safety. 7/10 for the three each

Cow and Chicken - Cow often gives him hugs that might almost squeeze his life out of and talks about her family and her "Big Brother" Chicken. Chicken can become a bit of a jerk to him like he was to his sister Cow, but he can tolerate him and he would show him to his friends Flem and Earl. 5/10 for Cow. 3/10 for Chicken

I.M Weasel - They are always shown to respect and honour for eachother. 9/10

I.R Baboon (I Am Weasel) - Barry finds him really weird. 2/10

Ed, Edd n Eddy - His interactions with the Eds are quite a mix. For Eddy, he just finds him as an another victim for his scams despite the poor cat not knowing about what scams are. Edd/Double D is pretty friendly towards him and he does shown to go to him whenever Barry would require his help. As for Ed, although despite his stupidity. He is very positive around Barry can tolerate Ed but his(Ed) shenanigans would leave him astonished. 6/10 for the three each

Billy (Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy) - Billy's stupidity would most likely left poor Barry in dismay. 1/10

Mandy (Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy) - Mandy's cold hearted personality would make him afraid of her. And she even doesn't care about the fact the he has anxiety. But for Barry, he does try to be brave enough to go talk to her. 2/10

Grim Reaper (Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy) - Their interactions would be neutral. Barry does fear the Grim Reaper, although he isn't on his list 4/10

Flapjack (Misadventures Of Flapjack) - The two are pretty much on good terms. Flapjack has Barry to go on his adventures across the seas. 10/10

Capt. K'nuckles (Misadventures Of Flapjack) - He would let Barry join his adventures with him and Flapjack. The two are probably allies to eachother. 9/10

Chowder - The two might get along well and Chowder might help him on how to cook stuff. 10/10

Mung Daal (Chowder) - Barry does show respect to Mung, although he does say to him that his behaviour reminds him of his school teacher's behaviour. 8/10

Lazlo (Camp Lazlo) - Lazlo and Barry are brilliant friends to eachother, with Barry thinking of him as the friend he wished for. 10/10

Kids Next Door (Numbuh 1, Numbuh 2, Numbuh 3, Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 5) - Barry is shown to be very respectful and supportive to the team, though he doesn't know much about Kids Next Door. Numbuh 1 trains him on how to become an agent of Sector V. Numbuh 2 would aid Barry into building gadgets for the team and teaching him how to use them. Numbuh 3 adores him, she even let him play with her Rainbow Monkey dolls. Numbuh 4 would defend Barry against anything he couldn't take down and trains him to fight against their enemies. Numbuh 5 and Barry are shown to be pretty chill and are on good terms. 10/10 for each of them

Grizzly Bear, Panda Bear and Ice Bear (We Bare Bears) - These three would definitely get along well with Barry. They liked to share their interests to him. For example, Grizz would show his food for Barry to try. Panda would get him interested into Asian culture and Ice Bear would get him interested how to speak a language or do cooking. 10/10 for the three each

Hector Con Carne, Major Dr Ghastly, Boskov and General Skarr (Evil Con Carne) - There is an unfortunate mix with his relationship with four of those villains. Is that his favourite out of them is Dr Ghastly, he does like Boskov since he isn't really dangerous unlike the others. Hector gets him to listen any demand he tells and has it do it for him and for his plans. As for Skarr... just ultimately despises him. 9/10 for Ghastly and Boskov, 5/10 for Hector and 0/10 for Skarr

Bloo and Mac (Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends) - These two would get along with him well, Since Barry enters their world and is given the ability to see the imaginary friends. Although Barry does like the two equally, Bloo's immaturity can irritate the poor guy, despite him tolerating Bloo. Mac acts like a good brother to Barry. 3/10 for Bloo and 8/10 for Mac

Samurai Jack - This man would definitely be like a protective dad to him. Teaching him about the dangers around the distant future. 10/10

Finn and Jake (Adventure Time) - These three would be total buddies and taking eachother into many adventures. Barry even asked Finn about if the nubs are really his ears. He was like a child with wonder in their eyes when he sees Jake's ability to stretch himself. 10/10

Gumball (Amazing World Of Gumball) - Since these two are both cats, I think they might get along as friends. 8/10

Mordecai and Rigby (Regular Show) - He would get along with them, although that makes him get involved into their shenanigans. 8/10

KO (OK KO: Let's Be Heroes) - Barry could actually get along with KO pretty well. 10/10

Mao Mao, Adorbat and Badgerclops (Mao Mao: Heroes Of Pure Heart) - These three often treat him as an average resident of Pure Heart but he does go to them for their help and they are quite friendly with him. Mao would somehow act like a dad to him, Badgerclops is kinda chill when he is around with him and Adorabat, despite being very hyperactive and her loudness causing harm to his ears. She is a good friend to him. 10/10 for each of the three

Juniper Lee (The Life and Times of Juniper Lee) - Barry honestly doesn't know much about her nor he has interacted with her. ?/10

Craig (Craig Of The Creek) - Same with Juniper, he doesn't know much about him. ?/10

Steven Universe - Steven and Barry would mostly be great friends. 10/10

Ben 10 - I think they might get along good, though Barry would get surprised when he sees him transforming into his alien forms. 9/10

His breathing was labored. It hurt, it all hurt. He was growing so tired and the buzzing in his ears wouldn’t let up, a constant high pitch ringing.

Malcolm focused on his best friend. “You watch out for them, that is an order. You take care of Dr. My Wife and the caterpillar, and if you don’t I swear I’ll haunt the shit out of you.”

He was slipping his eyes closed, unable to keep them open, as the Blood Vessel peeled to a stop in front of a rather scary looking house on the edge of the old compound.

“He looks like shit, can you carry him on your own?” Ben looked at Malcolm then Gary after he opened the back of the hearse. “I’ve got a surgical suite in my guest room on the second floor. He’ll need to be set up with a blood transfusion. Rusty, you’ll need to be donor.”

Malcolm could vaguely hear other voices, Hatred, Rusty, that weird Dr. Strange rip off that used to rent from the Ventures, the boys.

Great his gruesome demise was going to have an audience.

I welcome you to from JenandRobTravels to help me raise awareness to be able to raise funds to go to Namibia and rescue, rehabilitate and release endangered animals back into the wild.

As you will appreciate more than anyone, we are only two people in a vast world, but I am sure every little helps and hopefully, and it may encourage others to help defenceless and vulnerable animals.

In Africa alone, there has been a marked increase in organised poaching gangs hunting animals for many different reasons

1. Animal pelts and skins for display purposes

2. Animal bodies for traditional Chinese medicines

3. Organised hunting parties by paid hunters to kill for pleasure

4. Hunts to remove animals from areas to be redeveloped for human use

With all this in mind, I started looking at volunteer projects. The volunteer program with GreatProjects is not cheap and the flights getting to Namibia are expensive as well, but the experience and satisfaction in helping is unquantifiable

Whether it’s helping Cheetahs to run again, an abandoned Baboon to be accepted back to a Troop, or just helping a Giraffe with a sore leg, every day will be a rewarding challenge

We need exposure in order to help to fund this idea, hence my first-ever launch, into GoFundMe.

Our focus through GoFundMe is directed at getting enough money to organise such an experience to cover the costings for travel to and from the reserve, accommodation and food at the reserve

We are hoping that anyone who has a love for animals will help contribute to our idea.

The various interpretations of the Loompaland creatures: Hornswogglers, Snozzwangers, Vermicious Knids, and Wangdoodles.

1 = Hornswoggler

2 = Snozzwanger 

3 = Wangdoodle 

4 = Vermicious Knids 

5 = An alternate set of depictions for the creatures. 

- Hornswoggler: These critters have the nasty habit of skewing multiple prey with that horn of theirs all at once (making a shish kabob), then, dries them out in the sun while perched up on a branch. Once cooked to it’s liking, the Hornswoggler goes on a search for the largest thorn it can find to once again impale the prey and to help pull them off their horn and digs in. Based off hummingbirds and the real life shrike which impales it’s prey on thorns: m.youtube.com/watch?v=RPXDouwQ… - Wangdoodle: Since in the ‘71 film Wonka mentions it could each 10 at a time and think nothing of it, I figured a frog would be fitting since they eat so much. The dog-like head was added so it can sniff out Oompa Loompas who may be hiding out of sight (it has terrible vision) and snatch them up like a chameleon. - Snozzwanger: It’s sticky snot/mucus from it’s elephantine trunk helps trap prey where it’ll then bring it up to the mouth to be eaten. Inspired by star-nosed moles and the heffalumps from Winnie the Pooh. - Vermicious Knid: A real trickster these buggers are. They like to pull horrible pranks on the Oompa Loompas from time to time either for sh*ts ‘n giggles or before going in for the kill. Either way they love to laugh. Their awful cackle can be heard all over the jungles of Loompa Land. Based off crocodiles, mandrills and baboons. An idea I’ve come up w/ is that these names are actually just what are used for the different class of animals that have a certain characteristics. Ex. Hornswogglers are used to describe animals that have a large (or multiple) horns. Snozzwangers are animals that eat snozzberries along w/ having a prominent nose. Vermicious Knids is a name used to describe animals that have sharp teeth, a big, horrible toothy grin, voracious appetites, and are typically tricksters. Wangdoodles are to describe all the big and weirder animals who don’t have a characteristic trait that fit in the other categories. The “kooky ones” to put it lightly.

Malcolm was still partially in his colors, having only removed his cowl and crown. His eyes were bright as he paced the length of their bedroom, he had too much excitement and adrenaline racing through his veins.

It’d taken three weeks to get Guild clearance to arch CopyCat, he was allowed thanks to CopyCat’s past unprovoked aggression, and tonight had been the dry run, so to speak.

He’d used that ‘Monarch charm’ and did some level one type of aggression and pissed all over CopyCat’s suits, ruining a minimum of $50,000’s worth of well tailored clothing. And they were still able to be home by midnight!

“I wish I could see his face when he wakes up and BOOM! All that Armani? UNSALVAGEABLE! And 21 had the best idea once we had him tranqed! We drew PENISES all over his face in SHARPIE!” His voice was loud, pitching upward slightly like it always did when he was excited. It was filled with the joy that came with menacing your nemesis.

“Fucking Dream Team! There’s no covering that shit up, not without him scrubbing his face raw!”

“I’m happy with it. Sweetie, you know I’m happy with it.” He was also incredibly wary. “It’s just complicated, all of it. My whole life.”

Everything had been completely upended and though it’s calmed down some now, the Malcolm Jonas Fitzcarraldo that had gotten his wife in this state was a man that no longer existed. He was a different person.

And he was still trying to process it.

He dropped his gaze to their hands. “Remember that dirty fucking apartment in Denver, it was barely an apartment more like a haunted shoebox.” He was playing with her fingers idly, the lack of gloves making her wedding band visible.

“You and I and my mattress on the floor while the cocoon was being built. That’s about when I decided I was in it for the long haul with you.” He smiled fondly thinking of her with those red streaks in her hair, they had both been so young.

“And while I have an ass load of things I need to figure out, most of which don’t even involve this situation, I’m still in it for the long haul.”

“Oh I want to know. I mean, the more we know the less psyched out I’ll be when he or…” He winces. “She arrives.”

It felt real now, not that it wasn’t before but the picture and the voice memo had turned this into something that felt tangible.

“We’re really doing this, aren’t we?”

If Shadowman 6 could see this, 25 year old Malcolm would go almost feral if he knew that this was his future.

Their hands joined together, she gently strokes her thumb over his, smiling wide. Of course he’d want to know– the only surprises he likes are sexy ones. Or ones with money. Or maybe a surprise Dr. Venture tied up and ready to carve up– though that was once upon a time. 

Now it’s a bit more awkward.

“We can do this. We can do anything when we’re together. If you’re happy with this…”

She can live with this, but if he can’t– she’d regret it.

1. scout is looking super happy, clearly because he can see the baboon-child and is like ‘oh? new brother just dropped???’

2. sniper gripping his pocket like he’s trying to make sure he doesn’t lose THIS pair of trousers lmfao

3. i think in the next panel everyone should turn to Miss Pauling and be like ‘whoa how’d you do that voice?’ and it turns out that speaking in the TF2 Official Font is an incredibly unique and terrifying ability and it’s a whole Thing.

4. everyone is standing in a perfect V shape, except sniper has broken formation, placing himself between Demo and the bad guy. which is a nice gesture i guess except (1) the bad guy in question is Actively Decomposing and (2) literally nobody has succeeded in hurting Demo the entire comic, and the person who came closest was snIPER
