Sure they hadn't captured any of the rogue ghosts, but it absolutely could have been worse. Considering, as far as he knew, there were no professional ghost hunters in Gotham. The teenager tapped away at his phone, glad he remembered to bring it with him, letting the glittery device vocalize his response.

" Well, you're not a burn mark on the ground and there's not much property damage from the fight. "

He continued to type away, but glanced at Batman. Still couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that he was in the presence of Batman. It was pretty cool, in his opinion. Some still didn't believe he was real, but most teenagers like him hoped he was. People outside of Amity Park usually didn't believe Phantom was real either, but their reactions weren't ever positive when they saw him. He was definitely telling Tucker and Sam all about this when he got back home though.

" Plus I have something to help track them down. I won't leave the city until I catch them. "

With that, Phantom stowed the galaxy print phone in his backpack and pulled out a grey and green metallic boomerang. Best to not divulge the device's name. The voice filter on the text to speech would probably butcher it anyway. It was a long way from Amity Park, but it wasn't the first time he followed the device a ridiculous distance to bring ghosts back to the Fenton Portal.

Kirk's brow quirks behind the red lenses, " Define bad. " he states, tone flat. while he could technically be considered something supernatural, being a vampire and all, he was still a man of science. so believing in the supernatural wasn't something he really did, which made things difficult to process when ghosts apparently started roaming the streets of Gotham.

the battle had been rather one sided, until the boy had appeared, in which case the odds got better, but the pseudo vampire didn't escape without some burns and scrapes. also with a feeling of disappointment as he couldn't apprehend anything, seeing as the ghosts all got away.
