The teen wriggled the rest of himself out of the side of the building he'd been blasted into. Thank the stars he could turn intangible or else there'd be a giant hole in the wall. That he'd get the blame for, for sure.

A sudden ghost outbreak was bad enough. But to have both the Guys in White AND his parents make an appearance just as he and Valerie were getting a handle on the situation? They were going to ruin the progress he and Tracker just made, he could feel it. They were already going after Phantom too, just to top it off.

Phantom handed his already full thermos to Valerie, knowing she would keep it safe. With his luck, holding onto it himself with all the other ghost hunters around, would probably end with it busted and the ghosts getting loose all over again.

/// So here's some VERY low energy doodles of the designs for Vlad and Dan (older evil Danny) that are canon for this blog. Some aspects of Vlad's design are slightly different especially in the face/hair. its just an extremely sketchy lazy doodle. I'll do a better one for him later. Those cyan highlights normally in scenes with ghosts, I've changed to be red when Dan is around. Because red means scary. :') And under the readmore are some glitch in time spoilers.

My canon only takes bits and pieces from A Glitch in Time. One of those things is the idea of sticking Dan in an empty/unfinished clone of Danny. This stabilizes him so he doesn't disappear despite his timeline being gone entirely. He is sort of stuck with Vlad as a result. This is my blogs take on that.

Phantom gently brushed his thumbs over the edges of his phone case as he thought about the answer he received. He was no stranger to that feeling. Actually it was partially the major driving motive for anything he did.

Part of him tried to reason that there were other ways the rats could be safe and protected. Starting some kind of rat awareness effort, a rat sanctuary perhaps? They listened to him right? It would be easy to get them cleaned and looked at by vets, surely? ...But, those thoughts were probably a result from hanging around his friend Sam for so long before ending up here. She was always advocating for things like that. Danny didn't know a whole lot about his new friends here. Who's to say this wasn't tried before, or there weren't other obstacles in his way. Nobody wants to have to hide in a sewer their whole life, after all.

Even though he had his phone in hand, he began to speak out of habit. The teen caught himself after the first bit of sound escaped him. To Otis it probably sounded more like reverbed white noise than words. His face glowed a brighter green than the rest of the dull white glow his overall form emitted, embarrassed by his forgetfulness.

Phantom seemed to almost hide his face behind his phone, curling around it as he tapped away again. He thanked his tech savvy friend tucker internally, that the app caught when he accidentally typed in ghost language and auto corrected it for him. It wasn't long before he handed the starry themed phone over to Otis again, a new message displayed for him upon the screen.

"Yeah. I'd feel the same, I can't blame you. Are there no other options though? Is there anyway I can help keep the rats safe too?"
