Every hashtag on every post on every platform should ALWAYS be pascal case (a.k.a. camel case). I made this to illustrate how screenreaders read hashtags depending on whether they are lowercase or pascal case.
It’s a small thing that all of us can do to build a more inclusive, accessible internet for all. Please take the time to use pascal case.

please have mercy on saturday when you look at the prompt list and the prompt you thought was an obvious pwp starter has somehow migrated to the sfw list. i tried SO HARD to guess right i swear. but we are facing a broad user base with diverse behavior paths. so to speak.
(this is my own fault for failing to provide sufficient documentation, obviously. it's not like you can read my mind either. trying to get it right is stressful tho.)
learning a lot of new skills in a very short period of time in order to most effectively share the almost FOUR HUNDRED prompts we have now received.
#literally messaged my ux designer friend like help what is the tool i need to organize this#she delivered!!!!!! im just struggling with some metadata choices now#and i would be struggling a zillion times more if flap hadn't laid the groundwork so well. metadata queen (gn).#in some ways gift exchanges are harder. but in some ways... they are easier.#hashtag Deep#promptfest talk

I've decided to go ahead and report the new desktop feature that eliminates icons from reblogs to Tumblr Support
Send your feedback!
Click here - Category ''feedback''. I don't know if it'll amount for much but I'd rather have them a wave of formal feedback than fake ignorance about the userbase's discontent.
Here's a template if you wanna copypaste:
Hello! I've realised Tumblr has made the decision to not show icons from reblogging users in my desktop dashboard. This decision is truly impractical for most of the userbase, who are used to identifying the people they follow by icon. It makes the user experience actively worse. Besides from that, I also want to report the feature that takes you to a rebbloging user blog when you click on it instead of taking you to their reblog on their blog. Also, clicking on the post shouldn't take you directly to the OG poster blog. Clicking on previous reblogs and ''tracking'' the flow of reblogs that took the post of your dashboard is common practise (as is checking out the tags). Please do understand these measures aren't improving the site: not for newcomers nor for the longtime userbase. People do not come to the site for a Twitter/IG/Tiktok replica, they come for its unique features that you're slowly stripping away. These are: - Tags. They aren't an useless hashtag system like IG, they are a genuine organisation system when searching for specific content. In reblogs, they serve as organisation and as commentary. Commentary in the tags is one of the most unique feautures of the site. - Reblogs as flexible and creative intervention. Different versions of the same post can circulate for years. We have posts from a decade ago still appearing on our dashboards. It's one of the better features of the site --- trend cycles don't span a few days like other social media. - This is a blogging site as well as a social media site. Embrace that, please. Access to the desktop view (where you could customise a blog's html look) as well to easy access to the Account is unique and essential. The sidebar doesn't work. It doesn't look good and it's clunky UX-wise.

Turning a scam on people...
So on LinkedIn, if you post under the hashtag #OpentoWork grifters pour in with a scam that goes something like this: • Where do you want to work? Where do you live?
Send me your resume, I'm a recruiter.
• Our AI bot says your resume is not up to snuff we can offer you editing services, go to non-company website to see this other person.
Usually something like Fiverr, or an employee not related to Adecco, Superior, or whatever company they claim to work for.
You could just simply report them to the companies they say they work for... Or you could counter grift on them. lol. Which is what I did, because I've gotten so much spam over the years in terms of phone calls and grifters, that for my own amusement, I play with them.
When it became clear they were only grifting over the resume versus placement and helping to find a job, I countered their grift and said, "I'm sorry you haven't really sold me." (Basically) "and it's clear from what you said you never really read my resume, or you'd find out that I'm into UX," (which one of the people didn't know what it was, which made it worse for them)
lol I said, tell you what since I have a degree in Anthropology, have taken classes in psychology and sociology, I will charge you 50 dollars an hour to fix your grift so it sounds more believable. And then reported them to the companies they said they belonged to.
Don't fall for this grift. You can do the AI check yourself. And real companies shouldn't be trying to take money from their workers in this way.
I've caught other scammers too... so yeah. I caught a fake pest control guy once which was wild. I caught a fake restaurant. And I tried to get news media to pay attention to the fact that the Atlanta shooter was lying because he was and no one had checked any of the yelp reviews for the stores, so I posted it up, found an Asian news organization, posted the screenshots of the reviews and asked them to try to force the news media to get people who spoke the languages to report. 'cause I'm getting better at smelling scammers.
But if you would like to report all of those people on linked in and have some fun, go ahead, do as I did and counter offer them.

In a strange turn of events, the mass media technologies built out during the heady authenticity days have had a huge part in facilitating this new mass media culture. The hashtag, like, upvote, and retweet are UX patterns that systematize endorsement and quantify shared value. The meme stock market jokers are more right than they know; memes are information commodities. But unlike indie music 10 years ago the value of a meme is based on its publicly shared recognition. From mix CDs to nationwide Spotify playlists. With information effortlessly transferable at zero marginal cost and social platforms that blast content to the top of everyone’s feed, it’s difficult to for an ethics based on scarcity to sustain itself.

Having seen your post about it: what is your preferred acronym for accessibility? I'm partial to AX, to keep in line with UI/UX, but it may have the same issue as a11y in being hard to interpret for the unfamiliar.
so if I'm writing anything myself or searching for info online, I'm just going to spell out accessibility, 'accessible design', 'web accessibility', or something.
AX is cool and I like classifying it as an integral part of user experience. It would be what I'd choose if i could wave a wand and make something change. (But if I get one petty lexicographic wish I'm not burning it on a11y, it's a minor gripe)
a11y i think has the advantage that it's searchable, the way '#actually ___' etc tags are kinda useful on tumblr because they don't pick up random uses of the word, and i think that's a nice benefit. while i dislike it, that i do have to grant it that. it's an understandable compromise to the nature of hashtags on twitter etc.
honestly i found myself using 'WCAG guidelines' (or 'ADA compliance' lmao) a lot as acronyms for accessibility, but that's coming from a decidedly-non-expert working with other decidedly-non-experts (in a place where it was often hard to get developer-hours for accessibility work).
#thanks for the ask!#i rly related to your 'please let me work at ur company to fix this awful accessibility' thing#(not about accessibility specifically bc as mentioned i am by no means an expert or qualified)

Original Content Writing
Content is Connection.
Content isn’t just words, images, or videos, it’s designed communication with a purpose. It’s about making information clear, useful, and engaging within a specific context for a specific audience. If no one engages with it, does it even count as content?
For me, content is all about connection. I noticed this while helping a friend promote their small business on Instagram. At first, they were just posting pictures of their products with no hashtags. The posts got almost no engagement. But when we redesigned the content, adding captions that told a story, using hashtags to reach the right audience, and incorporating behind-the-scenes videos. the engagement skyrocketed. People started commenting, sharing, and even messaging to place orders. The difference? We made the content intentional, it wasn’t just a post, it was an invitation for interaction.
Good content is crafted for a discourse community, structured with user experience (UX) in mind, and measured through data and engagement. Whether it’s a TikTok, an article, or an email, content isn’t just what you create, it’s what people connect with.

🌟 Designing Experiences, Solving Problems, and Crafting Success Stories 🌟 As a UI/UX designer, I’ve often heard: “Why hire a small independent designer when big agencies are out there?” Let me answer that upfront—because you deserve designs as unique and tailored as your vision. 💡 Here’s why working with me isn’t just a choice; it’s the right choice: 1️⃣ Your Project = My Sole Focus Unlike large teams juggling many clients, your goals get my undivided attention. I dig deep to understand your audience and create designs that don’t just look great but deliver results. 2️⃣ Tailored Solutions, Not Cookie-Cutter Designs I craft every pixel, user flow, and interaction for you. It's like a bespoke suit. It fits you, matches your brand, and solves your unique challenges. 3️⃣ Expertise Meets Empathy I have hands-on experience with tools like Figma. I focus on users. I specialize in reducing cognitive load and improving user journeys. Not just take my words; hear what others are saying: “She is approachable, open to feedback, and delivers great work." “Her designs exhibit intuition, seamlessness, and a strong focus on the user.”" 4️⃣ Strategic Design Backed by Results I’ve proven that thoughtful design can transform digital experiences. It can boost engagement, drive conversions, and improve usability. 5️⃣ Experience That Speaks for Itself I've worked with diverse teams and clients, from design agencies to global brands. My track record isn’t just about creating beautiful designs; it’s about making a tangible impact. But here’s the truth: Some clients hesitate because they are unsure if one designer can handle it all. To that, I say: I’ve delivered end-to-end design solutions that meet deadlines and maintain precision. If you're ready to take your project to the next level, let’s connect. Drop me a message or comment below, and let’s chat about how I can help bring your vision to life. 👉 Remember: A big agency might be the “safe” choice, but if you want the “right” choice, let us work together. hashtag#UIUXDesign hashtag#FigmaExpert hashtag#BespokeDesign hashtag#UserExperience hashtag#TailoredSolutions

How to Market Your Grocery Delivery App to Stand Out in a Competitive Market
When I first started diving into the world of grocery delivery apps, I realized how saturated and competitive this market truly is. But, I also learned that with the right marketing strategies, it’s entirely possible to make your app shine like a diamond in the rough. Whether you're running a restaurant, a small business, or managing enterprise operations, here’s how I’d approach marketing your grocery delivery app to rise above the competition.
1. Understand Your Audience
Before anything else, I’d take the time to dig into who my audience is. Are they busy parents, single professionals, or seniors who prefer the convenience of doorstep deliveries? Knowing this helps me shape my Grocery Delivery App Development to address their specific pain points.
For example, if I were targeting working professionals, I’d highlight features like quick deliveries and seamless scheduling in my marketing. A clear understanding of the audience ensures the app truly meets their needs.
2. Craft a Unique Value Proposition (UVP)
What sets your app apart? I’ve learned that having a unique value proposition is a game-changer. Whether it’s offering hyper-local produce, eco-friendly packaging, or an unbeatable delivery time, these differentiators become the cornerstone of your marketing.
For instance, when promoting a White Label Grocery Delivery App Development, I’d emphasize the flexibility it offers businesses to brand the app their way while still maintaining robust features. This appeals to enterprises looking for customization without compromising on quality.
3. Leverage Social Media to Build Buzz
If I’ve learned one thing, it’s that social media is a powerhouse for engagement. Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and even TikTok can be great for showcasing the best aspects of your app. I’d post fun, behind-the-scenes content, customer testimonials, and even special promotions.
Incorporating keywords like “On Demand Grocery Delivery App Development” into posts and hashtags ensures better visibility. For example, sharing a quick clip of a delivery with a caption like “Your groceries, just a tap away! Experience seamless service with our on-demand grocery delivery app.”
4. Offer Launch Promotions and Referral Bonuses
When I’m launching something new, I know the importance of creating excitement. I’d roll out introductory discounts, free delivery for the first few orders, or even referral bonuses for current users. These incentives not only attract new users but also encourage word-of-mouth marketing.
For small businesses, I’d emphasize how White Label Grocery Delivery App Development ensures you can launch with features like loyalty programs or promo codes baked right in.
5. Partner with Local Businesses
Collaborating with local stores, farmers, and restaurants has been one of my favorite strategies. I’d approach local grocery stores and offer to feature their products exclusively on my app. This gives them an added digital presence while boosting my app’s appeal.
When promoting Grocery Delivery App Development, I’d also stress the importance of these partnerships in local marketing campaigns to build trust within the community.
6. Use Paid Ads and SEO to Drive Traffic
I’d never underestimate the power of paid advertising and a strong SEO game. Investing in Google Ads or social media campaigns targeting phrases like “On Demand Grocery Delivery App Development” ensures my app stays top of mind.
On the SEO side, I’d make sure my website and blog content focus on keywords like “White Label Grocery Delivery App Development,” making it easier for businesses and users alike to find me when searching for solutions.
7. Emphasize User Experience (UX)
All the marketing in the world won’t help if users don’t enjoy the app. That’s why I’d prioritize ensuring the app is user-friendly, fast, and bug-free. Regular updates, feedback integration, and stellar customer service go a long way in earning loyal users who’ll rave about your app.
Final Thoughts
Marketing a grocery delivery app can feel overwhelming at first, but with a clear strategy and a focus on delivering value, it becomes manageable—and even fun! Whether it’s through creative social media posts, partnerships with local businesses, or highlighting the robust features of your app, there’s plenty of room to stand out.
If you’re looking to get started or enhance your Grocery Delivery App Development, just remember: it’s all about understanding your audience, playing to your strengths, and delivering an experience they won’t forget. And with solutions like White Label Grocery Delivery App Development or On Demand Grocery Delivery App Development, the possibilities are endless!

How to grow your furniture online business
Growing your online furniture business requires a combination of strong marketing strategies, effective customer service, and operational efficiency. Here’s a step-by-step approach to help you grow your business:
1. Optimize Your Website for User Experience (UX)
Responsive Design: Ensure your website works well on mobile and desktop devices.
High-Quality Product Photos & Descriptions: Show your furniture in various angles, with detailed descriptions, dimensions, and material information. Consider using 360-degree photos or videos to allow customers to visualize the products better.
Easy Navigation: Categorize your products (e.g., living room furniture, bedroom furniture, etc.) for easy browsing. Add filters for size, material, style, etc.
Fast Loading Speed: Optimize your website to load quickly. This helps reduce bounce rates and improves customer experience.
Clear Call to Action: Make it easy for visitors to know what steps to take next—add a prominent “Add to Cart” button, and include clear directions to the checkout process.
2. Invest in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Keyword Research: Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to identify high-traffic keywords related to your furniture products (e.g., “modern dining room sets,” “affordable sectional sofas,” etc.).
On-page SEO: Incorporate relevant keywords in your product descriptions, blog posts, meta titles, and alt text for images.
Content Marketing: Create a blog or resource center that provides valuable content, such as “how-to” guides for home decoration, care tips for furniture, or interior design trends. This will help drive organic traffic.
Backlinks: Get backlinks from reputable websites or blogs related to interior design or home decor. This improves domain authority and search engine rankings.
3. Leverage Social Media
Instagram & Pinterest: Visual platforms are perfect for furniture businesses. Post high-quality images of your products, behind-the-scenes content, and customer testimonials. Use relevant hashtags to increase visibility.
Facebook & Twitter: Share updates, promotions, and customer reviews. You can also run targeted ads on these platforms.
TikTok: Show your furniture in use with creative videos. You could even create before-and-after room transformation content.
User-Generated Content: Encourage customers to post photos of their purchases in their homes. Share these on your social channels to build trust and authenticity.
4. Offer Exceptional Customer Service
Live Chat Support: Offer real-time customer support via live chat. Address questions about product sizing, delivery, or customization options promptly.
Clear Return Policy: Offer a hassle-free return policy. This builds trust and helps customers feel more confident making purchases.
Easy Shipping & Delivery: Provide accurate delivery times and shipping cost calculators. Partner with reliable shipping services for a seamless delivery experience.
Personalized Recommendations: Use AI-driven tools to suggest products based on browsing or purchase history. Personalized suggestions can improve conversion rates.
5. Email Marketing Campaigns
Email List: Build a strong email list by offering incentives like discounts or free design guides in exchange for customers’ email subscriptions.
Automated Follow-ups: Send automated emails to customers after they abandon their cart, offer them a discount to complete the purchase.
Product Launches & Promotions: Keep your customers engaged with regular newsletters about new products, upcoming sales, or special offers.
Segmentation: Segment your email list to tailor content based on customer preferences or purchasing history. For example, offer special deals on living room furniture to customers who’ve previously purchased from that category.
6. Utilize Paid Advertising
Google Ads: Run Google Shopping ads and search ads targeting relevant keywords. Make sure your ad copy is compelling and has strong calls to action.
Facebook/Instagram Ads: Run targeted ads based on demographics, interests, and behaviors. Retarget customers who have visited your site but didn’t make a purchase.
Influencer Partnerships: Work with influencers in the home decor or interior design niche to showcase your products. Influencers can bring exposure to your brand and influence purchasing decisions.
7. Offer Customization and Personalization
Customization Options: Offer custom sizes, colors, or fabric choices. This can appeal to customers who want a unique product that fits their space perfectly.
Room Planning Tools: Provide a virtual room planner where customers can see how your furniture will look in their own spaces. This can increase their confidence in buying from you.
8. Build Partnerships
Interior Designers: Partner with interior designers who can recommend your furniture to clients. You could offer them a commission for each referral or even a discount for their clients.
Collaborate with Other Brands: Team up with complementary home goods brands for co-promotions. For example, if you sell sofas, you might partner with a throw pillow or rug company.
9. Focus on Reviews and Testimonials
Request Reviews: After customers make a purchase, encourage them to leave a review. Positive reviews can significantly boost your credibility.
Feature Testimonials: Showcase customer testimonials and user-generated content (such as photos of your furniture in their homes) on your website and social media channels.
10. Provide Excellent After-Sale Services
Follow-up with Customers: Send follow-up emails to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat purchases. Consider offering loyalty programs or discounts on future orders.
Maintenance & Care Guides: Offer care guides or tips on maintaining furniture, ensuring it stays in good condition. This can add value to your products and show customers that you care beyond the sale.
11. Use Analytics to Optimize Your Business
Google Analytics: Monitor traffic, conversion rates, and user behavior on your website. Understand where customers drop off in the buying process and adjust accordingly.
A/B Testing: Continuously test different aspects of your website (landing pages, ad copy, email subject lines) to see what resonates best with your audience.
12. Consider Sustainability and Ethical Practices
Eco-friendly Materials: Promote sustainability by using eco-friendly materials in your products or packaging. Customers increasingly prefer brands with environmentally responsible practices.
Transparent Sourcing: Be transparent about where and how your furniture is made, and consider partnering with suppliers who align with sustainable practices.
Final Thoughts:
Success won’t happen overnight, but by consistently implementing these strategies and staying adaptable, you can grow your online furniture business. Focus on building trust with your customers, providing exceptional service, and standing out in a competitive market with your unique products and brand story. Keep testing, learning, and iterating to improve your approach.
Let me know if you’d like more details on any of these strategies!
