Thirsty clones
The clones I can think of right at this second as types of water
Hunter: Fiji bottled water. Prettiest label, good clean taste, belongs on Pabu
Wrecker: dragon fruit vitamin water. Water with a kick, taste great, looks great, fun at parties as well as the office
Echo: Boxed Water. Been through some shit, trapped in a box, but when released, just an absolute delight. Pure and crisp, no plastic taste. Recycled container. Doing its best.
Wolffe: That charcoal infused black water that was a fancy thing a few years ago. Intimidating, dont wanna drink it. Super good when you finally say "fuck it I need to know", and then you drink it and it changes you.
Rex: Aquafina bottled water with the wide mouth cap. Tried and true, ol' reliable. You want water on a roadtrip in the summer, you want hydration, you want Aquafina.
Fives: that purple blue and white Dixie cup with the swoosh pattern full of water cooler water. We all know why. The cup alone sparks joy, we will use the same cup a million times just because we don't want to use another. Because this cup is *our* cup. It doesn't matter the drink inside. It's the vessel.
Hardcase: Tap water. I'm giving Hardcase Tap Water because I don't know what's going on in there, and I typically have to filter his stuff to get what I want, but in certain contexts he's safe to drink.
Tup: hose water. You know there's something wrong in here, but you can't deny that cold hose water is God tier on a childhood summer day.
Tech: reverse osmosis uv light sterilized water that is then run through yet another filter. It has the most science in it.
Crosshair: rain water from a gutter. It was pure at one point, but it's long and hard journey has made it a bad sippy. With proper filtration and treatment, it will be beautiful once again, and it will be happier for it.
Omega: Dasani. Also reliable, the littlest bottle and the big bottle look the same except stretched out. A solid choice for adding flavor packets, can teach that water so much.
Fox: Bottom shelf vodka ran through a Britta pitcher to make it mid to top shelf vodka. It's been a long day of bullshit. Sometimes, the water is a lie.

Halfa Cass 8 pt 3
masterpost
“I have a high degree of confidence that the tools are collected from this neighborhood. I have compiled a list of buildings where a workshop might conceivably operate.”
Cass nodded, engaging the locks on her batcycle. Damibat started pulling up the cover and handed it to her to snap into place. “Thank you,” she said, belated. Cass ran her tongue over the backside of her teeth. “Engineering power?”
“No conspicuous consumption,” Damibat reported. Professional for sure. “In light of the unknown power source for the tools themself, my leading theory is that the mechanic uses this unknown material for their workshop.”
She nodded. Made sense. Fit together, puzzle pieces that click together. The hunters both clicked through the belt mechanisms for grapples and then they soared together. Air blew into Black Bat’s face, buffeting her into an embrace. They cut through the air silently, Black Bat a second behind the case lead, Robin.
His leads were:
Former car shop. Abandoned 4 months.
Basement floor of apartment building owned by mob affiliate.
Store front, shut down after cashier-owner murdered, gun crime.
In the right neighborhood, Black Bat started to feel a certainty. This was the right place. The mechanic was here. Something in her heart told her. It thudded, warm and reassuring, a reminder that she was breathing oxygen and pumping blood. Everything was well. Nothing was ghostly.
One by one, the Bats Black and Small crept in through windows and around blocks, looking for clues.
Former car shop: Genuinely deserted! Black Bat felt proud of Gotham. It was nice that no one was creeping and crawling. Well. She was creeping and Robin was crawling, but that was different.
Basement floor: occupied, by many rats and still water. Biohazard. Black Bat put her breathing filter on and resigned herself to writing a report and request for cleanup. Very dangerous. Possible Legionnaire’s disease and others. Yuck.
Store front: Gotham fail. In use as a marijuana growing facility. Big sigh. Do better, friends.
“Hardly a real crime,” Robin scoffed. He snapped his cape behind him and pulled out his grapple, angry with himself. Must have been wrong. Incompetent. I don’t like me when I fail. “Wasted time.”
Cass frowned, hesitating to follow. “No…” she said. The certainty hadn’t left her. Something in her hunting instinct knew. There was at least one trail to follow. She could sense it nearby.
Robin snapped to look at her. He didn’t say anything, but she knew what he was thinking: That’s unusual. Why is she uncertain? What does she perceive?
She cracked a faint smile behind her mouth mask. “Follow,” Cass requested. Robin, sweet and disciplined Robin, switched roles seamlessly. He followed her and she followed a sense that she hadn’t noticed before today.
They went over one block, and then up, up, up. A low income apartment building. Windows were dirty on the outside, smog and birdshit. The residents didn’t care to enjoy the view outside: there were curtains, UV blocking film, and taped up posters. She came to the ledge outside a 7th floor apartment and paused, frowning.
“Here?” Robin breathed it so quietly that only their shared headsets picked it up.
Cass nodded.
The window was obscured. Unfortunate. Cass wiped at filth forlornly, but there was a poster taped on it. There was a small peeking spot to sneak a look through, about two centimeters wide. Black Bat spidered her way across the window to line her face up to look into the apartment.
It was dim, lit by a green glow from a big screen, probably. Video game? Black Bat spied the back of a sofa and a shadow cast by legs hanging over the edge. Someone was sleeping there. Hmm.
She turned her face expectantly to Robin. He was typing into the wrist computer. “Leased by a young woman,” he reported sotto voice. His eyebrows went up. “A civil engineering student at Gotham U. No other residents on the lease.” He tilted to show her a pale young woman with a narrow face and brown hair. Flat color: dyed? Suspicious or fashion choice?
Cass squinted back inside at the sleeping person. Must be Jacqueline. Criminal mechanic was female? Neat. Go girls, go! Go to jail in this case, but still. Neat.
“Shall we enter?” Robin was clearly ready to go.
Black Bat shook her head. “Daylight,” she said practically. Pass to the Signal. It’s only fair. Optimal time to sneak and creep is when school is in session; apartment empty. Nighttime is better for confrontation. “Docks now?”
Comms clicked. “I was waiting for you to ask,” Oracle said, smug, good timing, I have everything under control. “I have what might be Lex Luthor moving something across the bay tonight. Interested in taking a look at what he wants to sneak out of Gotham?”
Hell yeah.

Hey. Remember around this time last year when the northeast US turned into an orange hellscape from wildfire smoke?
Experts are predicting something similar will happen again this year, (on top of/due to the already record breaking heat waves) so please make sure you have the appropriate safety measures before things get bad!
Buy some decent air filters and high quality face masks. Remember that unless your Air Conditioner has some kind of special filter built into its air intake, when you're running it, it's going to be sucking in the particulates from the smoke outside! Same goes for bathroom ventilation fans. And even if there isn't smoke outside, the ventilation fans are going to be sucking in hot, humid air, so use them only when necessary.
Take precautionary measures that keep your house cooler naturally, like covering all the windows and leaving most of the lights off. If your house has multiple floors, remember that the lowest floors are always the coolest.
Evaporative cooling can help you stay cool in extreme heat, but remember that if the humidity is high enough, it doesn't work anymore! Get some dehumidifiers for your house to combat this. Not the dinky kind they make for closets but the bigger, high volume kind that have drainage hoses. Climatologists are also predicting more heat bulb events (that's extreme heat combines with extreme humidity, leading to more deaths because our bodies cannot cool us down by sweating).
If you're walking outside, a parasol or UV protective umbrella will help keep you cool. Broad brimmed hats as well. Wearing loose, light colored clothing made out of breathable fabrics like linen and cotton will also help keep you cool.
If there's wildfire smoke out, try to limit your time outdoors as much as possible, and wear a face mask!
And, as always, stay hydrated! If it's hot enough, you'll need more than just water to replace what you're seating out, because you're losing electrolytes! Get something like Gatorade, Powerade, Pedialyte, etc.
Please stay safe, everyone!!

Hello hydro homie. My house has unsafe tap water so I have been struggling to stay hydrated, as we have to either boil all our water or buy it bottled. Do the other homies have any recommendations for an under-sink water filter (probably with UV??) that will make the tap water safe to drink and is not more than about $300? I have been looking but they are all so confusing as they all seem to need additional parts and it’s unclear what combination of products I need to make a full functional system. I asked a few companies to recommend a product but they all suggested a several thousand dollar whole home system which I can’t afford. I want to be able to drink the tap water so I can stay hydrated!! Thank you homies love and light ❤️

Sunglasses made of Murano glass, 18th-century AD, Venice, Italy.
Goldoni-type sunglasses with Mocenigo Coat of Arms.
Vascellari Collection (Italy) on display at The Murano Glass Museum.
—
Long before the rest of the world would discover the danger of ultra-violet rays in 1870, Venetian opticians were 120 years ahead of the curve.
The green colour of the lenses, conjured by the island's glassmakers in the bright hues of grass green, sea green and emerald green, wasn't simply a fashion statement but had a key functional role.
It has been later discovered that this colour serves as a powerful filter for UV rays, which are damaging to eye and skin health.
Thanks to Murano Glass, it became a true innovative jewel.
These emerald-colored sunglasses protected the eyes of the nobility and Commanders da Mar (of the sea) from the harmful glare of reflected light as they navigated the waters that surrounded them.
These sunglasses soon became widespread among Venetian high society.
One was almost certainly owned and used by Doge Alvise IV Giovanni Mocenigo (19 May 1701 - 31 December 1778), who was the leader of Venice from 1763 AD until his death on New Year's Eve, 31 December 1778 AD.
No one knows for sure why they were called "Goldoni" glasses, but it is assumed this was due to Carlo Goldoni (25 February 1707 – 6 February 1793), the famous Venetian playwright and librettist from the Republic of Venice.

New ESO image captures a dark wolf in the sky
For Halloween, the European Southern Observatory (ESO) reveals this spooktacular image of a dark nebula that creates the illusion of a wolf-like silhouette against a colourful cosmic backdrop. Fittingly nicknamed the Dark Wolf Nebula, it was captured in a 283-million-pixel image by the VLT Survey Telescope (VST) at ESO’s Paranal Observatory in Chile.
Found in the constellation Scorpius, near the centre of the Milky Way on the sky, the Dark Wolf Nebula is located around 5300 light-years from Earth. This image takes up an area in the sky equivalent to four full Moons, but is actually part of an even larger nebula called Gum 55. If you look closely, the wolf could even be a werewolf, its hands ready to grab unsuspecting bystanders…
If you thought that darkness equals emptiness, think again. Dark nebulae are cold clouds of cosmic dust, so dense that they obscure the light of stars and other objects behind them. As their name suggests, they do not emit visible light, unlike other nebulae. Dust grains within them absorb visible light and only let through radiation at longer wavelengths, like infrared light. Astronomers study these clouds of frozen dust because they often contain new stars in the making.
Of course, tracing the wolf’s ghost-like presence in the sky is only possible because it contrasts with a bright background. This image shows in spectacular detail how the dark wolf stands out against the glowing star-forming clouds behind it. The colourful clouds are built up mostly of hydrogen gas and glow in reddish tones excited by the intense UV radiation from the newborn stars within them.
Some dark nebulae, like the Coalsack Nebula, can be seen with the naked eye –– and play a key role in how First Nations interpret the sky [1] –– but not the Dark Wolf. This image was created using data from the VLT Survey Telescope, which is owned by the National Institute for Astrophysics in Italy (INAF) and is hosted at ESO’s Paranal Observatory, in Chile’s Atacama Desert. The telescope is equipped with a specially designed camera to map the southern sky in visible light.
The picture was compiled from images taken at different times, each one with a filter letting in a different colour of light. They were all captured during the VST Photometric Hα Survey of the Southern Galactic Plane and Bulge (VPHAS+), which has studied some 500 million objects in our Milky Way. Surveys like this help scientists to better understand the life cycle of stars within our home galaxy, and the obtained data are made publicly available through the ESO science portal. Explore this treasure trove of data yourself: who knows what other eerie shapes you will uncover in the dark?
Notes
[1] The Mapuche people of south-central Chile refer to the Coalsack Nebula as ‘pozoko’ (water well), and the Incas called it ‘yutu’ (a partridge-like bird).

Euglena (Euglena spp.)
Family: Euglenoid Family (Euglenaceae)
IUCN Conservation Status: Unassessed
The members of the genus Euglena are microscopic, single-celled eukaryotes that can be found in large numbers in both marine and freshwater habitats worldwide. Exactly what they are, taxonomically speaking, has been the subject of extensive debate: like plants, their bodies contain chloroplasts filled with large amounts of the green pigment chlorophyll which allows them to absorb sunlight and carry out photosynthesis to sustain themselves, but like animals, they are capable of “eating” (when faced with low light levels that impair their ability to carry out photosynthesis they can secrete enzymes that break down dead organic matter in the water around them, allowing them to absorb nutrients from this matter through their cell membranes), moving (with a pair of tiny tail-like structures, known as flagella, allowing them to swim towards food and away from predators such as larger single-celled organisms and tiny animals such as rotifers and fish larvae) and rudimentary “seeing” (with a single redish-orange “eye spot” filtering sunlight onto a light-sensitive structure at the base of the flagella and thereby forming something comparable to a very basic eye, allowing Euglena species to distinguish between light and dark and move towards sunlight.) As such, most authorities now classify Euglena and its relatives as protists, a sort of “miscellaneous” category that includes all eukaryotic organisms that are not animals, plants or fungi. When faced with dry conditions or a lack of sunlight and food, Euglena species can encase themselves in a protective membrane and enter a dormant state until they encounter preferable conditions, and when conditions are ideal they reproduce through binary fission, a form of asexual reproduction in which a single-celled organism essentially makes a copy of its genetic material, separates these two copies at opposite ends of its body and then splits into two distinct but genetically identical individuals. When sunlight is intense and water is abundant, these organisms may reproduce so frequently that the water they live in begins to appear green (or, in the case of the species Euglena sanguinea which uniquely possesses a protective casing of the reddish substance astaxanthin around its chloroplasts to protect them from damage from intense UV radiation, red.)
(Note - on the individual pictured above, the orange mark near the top of the image is the eye spot. The flagella are tiny and transparent so are very hard to see through most microscopes, but they’re there - I promise!)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not an animal per say, but a poster I was given for Christmas had these little goopy guys on it and I wanted to learn more about them. I think they’re cool, and while they’re not easily visible protists are still wildlife!

Pure and Safe Water: Domestic Water Filter Cartridges and UV Light Water Filters
Access to clean, safe water is essential for every household. Ensuring that the water you consume is free from contaminants and safe to drink can significantly improve your family's health. Two effective solutions for achieving this are domestic water filter cartridges and UV light water filters. Let’s explore how these systems work together to provide pure, safe drinking water.
Domestic Water Filter Cartridges: The First Line of Defense
Domestic water filter cartridges are designed to remove impurities and contaminants from your water supply. These cartridges typically fit into water filtration systems installed under your sink, on your countertop, or within your refrigerator. They effectively reduce sediment, chlorine, lead, and other harmful substances, ensuring that the water you drink is cleaner and tastes better.
There are various types of domestic water filter cartridges, including activated carbon filters, sediment filters, and ceramic filters. Activated carbon filters are particularly effective at removing chlorine and organic compounds, which can affect the taste and odor of your water. Sediment filters, on the other hand, are excellent at trapping dirt, sand, and rust particles, protecting your plumbing and appliances.
Regularly replacing your domestic water filter cartridges is crucial to maintaining their effectiveness. Over time, the filters become saturated with contaminants, reducing their ability to purify your water. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for replacement intervals to ensure continuous protection and optimal performance.
UV Light Water Filter: Eliminating Harmful Microorganisms
While domestic water filter cartridges are excellent at removing physical and chemical contaminants, they may not be as effective against microorganisms. This is where a UV light water filter comes into play. UV light water filters use ultraviolet light to disinfect water, killing or inactivating harmful bacteria, viruses, and protozoa that can cause illness.
A UV light water filter works by exposing the water to UV-C light, a type of ultraviolet light that penetrates the cells of microorganisms and disrupts their DNA. This process effectively neutralizes pathogens, making the water safe to drink without adding any chemicals or altering its taste.
UV light water filters are typically installed at the point of entry, treating all the water that enters your home. This ensures that every tap provides disinfected water, offering peace of mind and enhanced safety for your family.
Combining Domestic Water Filter Cartridges and UV Light Water Filters
For the ultimate in water purification, combining domestic water filter cartridges with a UV light water filter provides comprehensive protection. The filter cartridges first remove physical and chemical contaminants, while the UV light filter eliminates any remaining microorganisms. This dual approach ensures that your water is not only clean and great-tasting but also free from harmful pathogens.
When setting up your water filtration system, consult with a professional to determine the best configuration for your needs. Proper installation and regular maintenance are key to ensuring the effectiveness and longevity of your filtration system.
In conclusion, using domestic water filter cartridges and UV light water filters together offers a powerful solution for achieving pure and safe drinking water in your home. By investing in these technologies, you can protect your family's health, improve the taste and quality of your water, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your water is thoroughly purified. Prioritize clean water today and experience the benefits of these advanced filtration methods.

Hope you don’t mind me asking but I can’t find any good answers from searching online, I recently came into a young wild red-eared slider, it is not native to my area so I’m arranging to drive it to its native range when I can in a few months. It is in a 20gal planted tank with shrimp and small non-aggressive guppies. Will it feed itself or will I have to supplement? I am ok with it eating the plants and shrimp and fish and I did put in a dock and basking and UV light.
Thank you for being a good steward to your native fauna and keeping an invasive off the streets!
Sounds like you are off to a good start for this little guy. It should hopefully be able to feed itself a bit but they have a surprisingly varied diet in the wild. I would definitely supplement with commercial turtle pellets and collard greens as well. You’ll probably have to scoop out any uneaten food to prevent soiling the water. And if you don’t have a filter it’s definitely a good idea as RES are pretty messy. If you have any questions about setting up your temperature gradient don’t hesitate to ask.
#asks#turtles#also be careful where you release this dude so that you don’t inadvertently transmit diseases!

SCP AMTF Nu-7 Cosplay - Assault Pack Maneuvers
Depicted here is the theoretical appearance of a conventionally armed AMTF Nu-7 operative during assault pack maneuvers. While most missions undertaken by Nu-7 revolve around direct action light fighter operations with constant logistical support from SCP Foundation elements, there are times where Nu-7 must operate alone without any form of logistical support. Examples include anomalous exploration missions or deep infiltration into enemy territory that require the unit to remain within the working area for extended periods of time without support. In such a case the standard light fighter loadout so commonly seen would not be sufficient in terms of individual sustainment. The longer the unit stays on the ground without support, the more sustainment equipment they will need to survive. This includes water, food, medical supplies, ammunition, spare batteries, and spare clothing as well as additional survival equipment like water filtration and purification, entrenching tools, toiletries, and shelter. Most missions that Nu-7 will perform that aren’t 24 hours or less will generally take place within two days and two nights. As such, this operative is equipped with a 48 hour assault pack, specifically the Eagle Industries SOF 50L Version 1 Assault Pack Prototype. An assault pack will provide the aforementioned sustainment equipment for a 48 hour mission comfortably within its interior. It can be worn over the operative’s fighting kit, however the zip-on pack panel and external belt must be removed and placed in and on the pack before it can be worn. This is because the pack utilizes a ruck style pack frame and hip belt to allow the wearer to fit the pack exactly to their liking. This allows for the operative to continue to wear their plate carrier and be able to fight while wearing their assault pack if the situation demands it.
In a 48 hour mission scenario, generally speaking once the element is dropped off at the infil location, they then move to a secondary location where they drop off their sustainment kit. This is where they will resupply and sleep in shelter if need be. Once the element drops off their assault pack, they reequip their zip-on pack panel and belt and continue with the mission. Once the objective is complete they can resupply at their assault pack drop off point and rest or move onto the secondary objective. In reality there are several methods of utilizing an assault pack during a mission, what such a loadout offers is the flexibility needed to survive within the working area for 48 hours.
During exploration missions, it may not be necessary to wear full kit when performing reconnaissance. The operative wears a boonie hat in experimental UCP-D camouflage. As his standard active hearing protection is mounted on his helmet, he wears 3M Combat Arms Ear Plugs in this scenario. He is equipped with an L3 M24 7×28 Binocular with an ARD, or Anti-Reflective Device, mounted at the front. This is otherwise known as a killflash and it prevents the sun from reflecting off the front lens and giving away the user’s position.
During 48 hour missions it may be necessary for the operative to collect water within the working area. To complete this task the Foundation supplies several water purification and filtration methods. The operative is shown currently using a Sawyer Squeeze connected to a Cnoc 3L VectoX Water Container to filter water into a CamelBak Eddy. He additionally has a Steripen Ultra UV Water Filter and Aqua Research H2Go Chlorine Disinfectant Generator beside him.

you have a newt ...?
*blushes
Pretty much I haven’t been sharing about my fish tank a lot lately cuz I had an algae bloom and some other bad stuff happen with it so the water has been extremely murky for like 2 weeks and I had NO idea why and I got a new filter tried so much stuff and FINALLY I think I’ve found the answer to fixing it (UV sterilizer light in my filter (it’s starting to look a little better) so anyway I’ve just been frustrated and embarrassed about the whole thing….
BUT ANYWAY yes last weekend I got a newt cuz I was at a reptile convention and I saw him and he was in a tank (him and other baby newts) and the guy said they are really hearty guys and they can live fully aquatic till their gills fall off. Eventually I’m going to add a thing to my tank where he can crawl up and get air but he doesn’t need that yet.
He’s pretty shy and as you can see my water looks HORRIBLE so I’m embarrassed but yes. His cuteness. Also I promised myself I wouldn’t get any other creatures till my fish tank was in order but. His cuteness

Stuff about laser weapons:
don’t think “thing that scans DVDs”, think “1980s camcorder only light goes out instead of coming in”; a DVD laser only needs to go a few millimeters, not tens or hundreds of meters
you can use the laser optics to create a laser pointer dot—which will seem to explode when you shoot the actual weapon beam
the optics can double as a telescopic sight, since that’s just adding something to receive light along with the stuff for generating it; I would uplink it to helmet optics, like the smartlinking in Halo
visible-light lasers can easily blind you, and it’s easy for IR and UV lasers to be shifted wavelength into visible; people in warzones using lasers would probably wear filter contact lenses
the primary determinant of laser range is wavelength (shorter wavelength = longer range, except that not very deep in the near-UV, air becomes opaque—also water-vapor is opaque to near-IR), followed by the material of the target
lasers might make a very soft electronic buzz when activated, but the beam makes a sound like a gunshot upon hitting soft tissue, as the liquid in it boils out of the wound
a laser wound is not cauterized (water boils at 100° C, cauterization happens at 450–500° C), but in fact is bloody like a gunshot wound, except the blood is a bit hotter when the wound is freshly made

The Important Role of Sports Sunglasses While Outdoors
Whether you're a dedicated athlete or a casual outdoor enthusiast, you understand the significance of sunglasses. Sunglasses are not just fashionable accessories; they are specialized gear designed to protect your eyes from the sun's harmful rays, optimize visual clarity, and withstand the demands of intense physical activity.
In this article, we will delve into the important role of sports sunglasses while outdoors, exploring how they contribute to eye safety, performance enhancement, and overall enjoyment of your favorite sports and adventures, and why it’s wise to buy a pair of sunglasses near you.
Prevents UV Damage
Sunglasses labeled as providing 100% UV protection block both UV-A and UV-B rays. UV-A rays have longer wavelengths and can penetrate deeper into the eyes, potentially causing long-term damage. UV-B rays have shorter wavelengths and primarily affect the outer parts of the eyes, contributing to immediate effects like sunburned eyes. By blocking both types of UV rays, sunglasses offer comprehensive protection.
While polarized lenses primarily reduce glare, they indirectly contribute to UV protection. By reducing reflective glare from surfaces such as water, snow, or pavement, polarized sunglasses help improve visibility and visual comfort. We’ll recommend the best place to buy polarized sunglasses from below.
Provides Eye Protection Against External Elements
Apart from UV protection, sunglasses protect our eyes from wind and debris. Eyewear covers a larger area around our eyes and reduces the risk of windblown debris causing discomfort or potential eye injuries.
Sun and wind exposure can lead to dry eyes and discomfort. Sunglasses provide shade and reduce the direct impact of sunlight and wind on your eyes, helping to retain moisture and prevent excessive evaporation of tears, which keeps the eyes hydrated.
Sunglasses also protect against dust, dirt, and other particles in the outdoor environment. When you're engaged in activities like hiking, biking, or gardening, sunglasses act as a shield, preventing particles from entering your eyes and causing irritation or discomfort.
Selecting sunglasses with appropriate lens coatings, such as anti-reflective or hydrophobic coatings, can further enhance their protective qualities against the elements.
Improves Visual Clarity
Some sunglasses with specialized lens coatings or technologies enhance contrast perception. They selectively filter certain wavelengths of light, optimizing the contrast between objects and their backgrounds. This improves the sharpness and definition of what you see, making objects stand out more clearly.
Some sunglasses feature lens tints or coatings that enhance certain colors while reducing others. This selective color enhancement can improve visibility and visual clarity in specific environments. For example, amber or brown-tinted lenses enhance contrast and depth perception, making them beneficial for outdoor activities like hiking or skiing.
Sundaze Rays lets you buy sunglasses online with their diverse collection that contains an online shop for handcrafted sunglasses. Visit their shop today to buy uniquely shaped sunglasses. Get in touch with them to find out more.

why do you wear the sinister villain glasses -leafanon
G'day leafanon! Reckon you're talking about these.
The reason I wear the piss-coloured ones is because they aren't actually sunnies. They're shooting glasses. The yellow lens filters out UV light, increases the contrast in my environment so I can pick out targets more easily, and they work best in hazy environments like early morning or late in the evening (when most of animals I hunt are most active). On the plus side they also second as mild sunnies and I have blue eyes, so they do absorb some sunlight and shield my eyes. The ones I have are my favourite pair.
I also have a pair of tinted sunnies (also aviators) but I only wear them on rare occasions. They work best in the Outback and farming properties during midday with full sun. I use these when I'm driving east (morning) and west (evening) so the sun doesn't blind me.
The only pair I practically never use are my blue pair (again, aviators) since the blue is to make targets stand out against greenery, and most of the places I hunt have no or very little green. The only time I've ever used those is while hunting water buffalo near Kakadu since it's all green rainforest up there.
