Just be thinking about Fuuko since I’m on the 14th volume of Udul and well I was considering possible endings for the series and realised that, hey, if Fuuko and Andy get out of this whole conundrum with their powers she would never be able to conceive or have children, not only because she can’t physical touch people skin on skin, but because even if she got artificially inseminated she couldn’t possible be able to conceive or give birth due to the child being a completely different being to her and having a soul of its own.

For example (this could potentially be some kind of spoiler so you’ve been warned. Don’t read ahead if you’re not ok with spoilers) but Nico and Ichico (a negator) had Mico and she doesn’t have any negator powers because that’s not how the negator powers work/are received. This means that Mico is a completely normal human.

Fuuko’s body would probably reject conception altogether (causing Unluck). The child wouldn't have any counteractive ability or way to deflect the Unluck. And even if (IF) some crazy miracle happened that would allow her to carry a child full term/have a safe delivery she wouldn’t be able to touch said child and have that skin on skin contact a mother and newborn child would have. And like how would they live normal lives? It’d be so easy to slip up ☹️.

Idk this info/thought has left me feeling hollow my guys 🫡 like poor girl couldn’t start a family unless the series somehow magically ends with them losing their powers and living normal lives but I feel like that lowkey won’t happen because that’s too easy.

Here are some parts from the latest chapter that caught my attention:

Now this other Master Rule mentioned about Fuuko being a Vessel. It's definitely intriguing as to what being a Vessel means to them... Is she going to be a Vessel for god? (Or Idk... This is just me throwing things out there at random but what if Fuuko becomes the new "Eve"?)

And then that bottom right panel... So it seems "Luck" is a Master Rule? Very interesting 🤔

Daaaamn Andy. You took on that responsibility to keep the Master Rules and the Negators separated. I'm mighty impressed. But it's sad that he had to endure that task all those years.

I'm excited to see how the Negators will oppose the Master Rules and get back Andy!!! 👏👏👏

I find it really funny that they used "u" to get "Unfade" because they were like "Who do we know who can beat up a dragon?" when that train of thought could've very easily also gone the way of "Unluck".

Let's be real, at this point Fuuko could absolute take out a dragon or Ichio would believe she could. And her unluck bullets can probably help do damage to/make Language trip up. And she'd absolutely be better at playing this game.

I understand why they didn't do this both in universe (Fuuko is currently leading/defending/transporting another group where every member is pretty badly beat up and probably wouldn't last long against War's juniors without her and Top's maneuvering skills) and from a writing standpoint (Fuuko just got some major revelations in the previous arc and we haven't had Ichio, Nico, and Feng do much that's substantial in a while) but could you imagine? They also could've summoned any other negator this way too, so many possibilities for mayhem.

Like always, trying to play by the rules doesn't work.

Undead Unluck ch 239 spoilers ‼️‼️

Obligatory post for the last chapter

I have many thoughts so the bullet points are back

I also find it hilarious that after I started collecting the physical volumes for the series I got most but vol 3, and I went for a drive yesterday because I was feeling bad all week and I go to the comic store and there was volume 3 (which I got obviously), the day before the series was over

Now for the feels

I randomly thought what if the series ends on August 1st 2020 and it did and it was Fuuko and Andy’s wedding

And they were late, because of course

I thought I would cry because of the feels but turns out I was laughing too much to properly cry (I cried later)

I wondered if Tozuka would do a wedding or a biopic ending (show us all the characters and tells us what happened to them) and we got both and I’m so happy

I was picturing different endings (as in last final panels) for some characters but I can draw them later, for now I get my wedding/biopic ending

Also Nico getting an idea while Ichico is giving birth why

And yes, Mico is finally here!!

And speaking of babies, I spent so much time clowning on Shen and Mui for not actually saying what their relationship was (as in if they were a formal couple or just a situationship) but now they have twins? They worked fast

And I love how most of them have their businesses and that for the most part they all stayed together (Victor with Void and Julia, Andy with Rip and Nico, Fuuko and Gina, Billy and Tella, Top and Haruka, Chikara and Tatiana, etc)

Also Ichico Vorgeil, Latla Tristan, Leila Tristan, my heart

I actually want to give a shout out to Rip, Latla and Leila. Polygamy in real life is a no for me, but in fiction I think I’m more open to them because of these three. Elusive Samurai (especially after this week’s chapter oddly enough) and Witch Watch will probably go that route, and I’m curious to see what happens next

Julia is looking more like Juiz now (also her throwing shade at Victor, they’re gonna be the next married couple I swear)

I’ll be the one wearing the pants in the relationship, my OTP ladies and gentlemen

Actually, I think Fuuko and Andy are the only main couple from any Jump series I’ve read that actually, unambiguously got together in the end, wedding and all

Because Senku and Kohaku had the tension but nothing happened, Izuku and Ochako we only got the start of their romantic relationship, Yuta and Maki was heavily implied but not outright confirmed and I don’t want to talk about Sket Dance 😒

Fuuko and Andy got their happy ending, I think they might be one of the best romances I’ve read in manga, which is impressive considering shonen (especially from Jump) have a reputation with their romantic subplots

I just love them so much, and I will miss Undead Unluck so much

And it will definitely join Attack on Titan and Dr Stone in the list of series that have left a void after they ended

At least we still have the anime (and I hope they adapt everything), and maybe some volume extras one can dream

Lastly obligatory fuck you Disney for taking the rights, don’t meddle in things you don’t know if you’re not gonna market them like they deserve, you should’ve let Crunchyroll take it

Overall, I adored it, it was wicked sick 💙🩷

It's the fact that I had stopped reading manga primarily and moved onto reading heavy smut on the Kindle for YEARS, got tired of it, downloaded a manga reading app on my phone and RANDOMLY got surprised with Undead Unluck. I went from the smuttiest, dirtiest smut out there to...this, and I am so damn obsessed it's unhealthy.
