HARD agree. they have very flat personalities and little to no development. while i do like some of them (utowin first and galga slightly) as characters, i have to say we just don't know enough about them at all to be of any "canon interest" - aka what i like about them is me projecting my ideas on a mostly blank slate.

on top of this i just don't get their fans. this ties in the twittblr idiotic debate of "does a good character have to be a good person" but there is a large refusal in the fandom to see them as bad people despite the story showing them as antagonists for good reason, it annoys me to no end.

this was made even worst with the recent chapters. i don't fully resent them having backstories, it makes them more fleshed out and both instances are used by the author to as tools to call out very real social injustices (sexism/sexual violence and homophobia) but damn did lulucy and galga getting their lore turn them into little meowmeows overnight. fans are this stupid it seems! just cause they suffered or gained yaoibrain appeal doesn't erase their other contributions to the story. yes i am petty because they are mean to my favs hashtag feminist girlboss lulucy explicitly placed a tracker device on my little boy and lgbt icon galga tried to beat his dad to a pulp without an interrogation. i do not forget

as for the others i frankly dislike them as characters, the twins are just garbo gimmick fillers characters, lulucy i don't like but my biggest hate goes to eas i can't stand his ass. i hope dagda gores him with his sword idgaf
