A hearing on Wednesday in an election case captured in miniature the challenge for the Trump campaign as it gears up for what could become an all-out legal assault on presidential election results in key swing states: It’s easy enough to file a lawsuit claiming improprieties — in this case, that Pennsylvania had violated the law by allowing voters whose mail-in ballots were defective to correct them — but a lot harder to provide evidence of wrongdoing or a convincing legal argument. “I don’t understand how the integrity of the election was affected,” said U.S. District Judge Timothy Savage, something he repeated several times during the hearing. (However the judge rules, the case is unlikely to have a significant effect; only 93 ballots are at issue, a county election official said.)
“A lawsuit without provable facts showing a statutory or constitutional violation is just a tweet with a filing fee,” said Justin Levitt, a professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

Ok "americans favor many progressive ballot measures but not democratic candidates, which means the democrats are shit" is kind of a weird take like who do you think writes the ballot measures guys... I am not saying the majority of democrats AREN'T doing a shit job in many arenas but this is a weird way to "prove" it
Given that
These policies are. Written by democrats
I think the explanation for this disparity is more complex probably!

I cant believe Rick fucking Santorum called Trump out for being incendiary and hypocritical on CNN:
"We don’t know that right now, and for the President to go out there and claim that without any evidence of that is dangerous," Santorum said.
Santorum went on to call out Trump over his attacks on mail-in voting.
"I sat there I listened to him talking about the votes being taken away from him, and then he shifted to Arizona and said hey, 'I win this thing if they count the votes.' Well, how can you say we have to wait and count the votes in Arizona and I can win this thing, but if you count the votes in Philadelphia you’re stealing them? The reality is, in Pennsylvania Democrats voted by mail and Republicans voted — in person and it’s because you asked them to do so."

Fundamentally do not comprehend how they can be like "ok we are stopping the count for the night so our ballot counters can sleep and will resume in the morning" YOUR BALLOT COUNTERS CAN SLEEP?

Especially in combination with the completely impotent "WE CLAIM PENNSYLVANIA" tweets, like, sir you cannot actually claim a state on twitter that is. That is not how this works ... You do not claim things. Sir. In order to win an election you must be voted for

"Neither Trump nor his campaign made clear how the president would challenge the election at the Supreme Court. And it's unclear what legal basis the president has for litigating the results." says Business Insider
Like I agree that the dems pandering hard to the center right sucks but I don't think this is evidence of that because definitionally we are looking at people who voted FOR TRUMP... If we were talking about nonvoters or 3rd party voters I might agree but like. I think more likely the reasonable takeaway here is "the general public likes progressive policies when divorced from preconceptions they have about the political parties, therefore something about the way that the democratic party "packages" themselves is offputting to people who like how the republicans TALK but have a disconnect between that and the policy"
...anyway.
Ok "americans favor many progressive ballot measures but not democratic candidates, which means the democrats are shit" is kind of a weird take like who do you think writes the ballot measures guys...
