going to do a little promo here actually. if you are like me and enjoy science fiction, illegal racing, motorcycles, poc characters, and lgbtq+ themes, you should totally check out motor crush published by image comics. i just got the first trade today and it’s absolutely spectacular; the story is engaging, the characters are lovable, and the art is to die for. you’ll regret passing this one by at the comic book store

you love durmstrang because it’s a living, breathing thing. with each year, it changes its curriculum according to the interests and needs of its students. it offers new classes that schools around the world would never dream of teaching. it teaches ‘forbidden arts’ and ‘dark magic’ because it knows that nothing is truly dark, and that the only dark thing about this would be its death at the hands if inattention.

you close your eyes, and breathe in the cool, stony scent of your school. it fills you from head to toe with excitement, but also peace in knowing that it will always be here for you. it is the gift that keeps giving, the tree of golden apples. you reach out and pluck one from its branches, and crush its crisp fruit between your teeth. so this is what magic feels like

god i’ve read a lot of good books recently ... but most recently kafka on the shore by murakami haruki, after my mom nagging me to read it for half a decade lmao

not at all. i’m a generally speaking not very emotional? i only get angry.

i really miss japan and i wish i were back there taking advantage of the best public transport systems in the world and eating cheap but great food haha

chips with curry sauce! god do i miss british chip shops now

yes? i used to work at a pizza restaurant and one of my go-to pizzas was a white pizza with sriracha chicken, picked red onions, and pineapple, then sprinkled with green onions and drizzled in sriracha and mayo

i don’t think so? i don’t really remember any of my dreams.

really a mix of everything?? as per usual?? i’m still listening to the japanese alternative/metal/shoegaze/noise pop stuff i was into when i was a teenager, but i also listen to anglophone indie and alternative music? and blues and disco? and at the same time i’m still hardcore vibing to german experimental/nu wave music? but i also listen to (embarrassingly) at least two hours of russian dance pop everyday?? i just listen to everything man

probably find a better apartment in the city and live there. if i go to grad school in the city, that is. the rest of the money i would donate to my alma mater and my grad school because universities always need more money
