in which mint and karma spend their days in marital bliss

a short look into the infinite life of zhongli and the finite life you spend together. it is a snippet in the long life of morax, a time where he comes to know love, peace, happiness and then loss. because just as a flower wilts and withers, life is ephemeral when looking through the eyes of a god.

when your agency ships you off to the hostile nation of inazuma with an assignment that only instructs you to do whatever you have to do keep the world at peace, you don't bat an eyelash. why? well, because this is what you signed up for.

what you didn't sign up for was the little note at the end that said "get a spouse, make a baby!"

a spouse? a baby? you've never even kissed before, what do they mean baby! the universe must have pitied you (or could be having the time of its life with your lack of experience in humanly relationships) because in comes a tiny girl with an uncanny ability to know exactly what you're thinking and a wandering samurai with too much snark, eyes the shade of bale thunder and a mysterious past.

you're not sure if this is a blessing in disguise or a disaster in the making. but one thing's for sure, there is never a dull moment when the three of you are together.

13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?

i don't think i'm particularly good at anything to be honest. i find writing angst much easier than fluff because i have a lot of trouble putting myself in situations like that. a lot of the emotions in my writing are taken from real-life experience and it's hard to write about kissing and loving and being with someone when i've never done so before myself. there's a ton of other stuff that i find difficult to write as well like highly emotional scenes and whatnot but yeah, basically i can't write fluff and consume angst as sustenance.

15. Do you write in the margins of your books? Dog-ear your pages? Read in the bath? Why or why not? Do you judge people who do these things? Can we still be friends?

no, no, no and yes, we can still be friends. i like my books clean and pristine so dog-ears and scribbles are out of the question. i don't judge people who do, i think everyone has their quirks and habits, it's not a big deal to me unless they do it on one of my books. then, i'll have no choice but to hunt you down and get revenge for my book.

27. Who is the most stressful character you’ve ever written? Why?

childe. because he is an ass and i hate him. stinky little gremlin.

28. Who is the most delightful character you’ve ever written? Why?

i want to say kazuha because him <33 but it's 100% xiao. xiao is like an onion. there's so many layers to him. he's so fun to pick apart because my god, xiao is so tragic and yet, so hopeful. he's a lovely mixing pot of emotions. a close second is diluc because to me, diluc is defined by love.
