uncanny textures and jank. Principal dude just pops into existence. This game is so janky but i want my crystal pokemon. The collision detection sucks too i cant talk to quaxly. They slapped a bad feather texture onto poor koraidon. The clipping underground is consistent like 70% of battles enough that i thought it was water or something before i realized fuecoco was standing on the sky. All the shadows flicker on and off constantly.

As someone who likes octopath traveler and wandering around this is great. Cant enter buildings but the ships actually sell stuff. That was one disappointment in swsh was there were so many shops you couldn't buy hinge at.

Wow it's actually lagging. I clipped through a door. The textured and lighting on everything suck!

I get what they were doing introducing the legendaries early but that means cyclizar is super underutilized. Like imagine if we got a cyclizar like everyone else and only in late game was it transformed or we got the legendary. Also wow they city's just going to let us ride around in the city. Also it's so funny that this is some motorcycle lizard but the "wheels" are just for show and it runs around on all 4 legs.

It's a shame the stands and restaurants were given more thought like kofu's restaurant could have tied to that blue banner sushi place since it matches his apon and the flagship is in one city and the chains in others. Or the aesthetics and architecture cascarafa with the white walls and light colors matched that one restaurant but i couldn't find one in the city. just like a little more environmental story telling could have been done.

Pawmot was a mistake the line should have stayed a 2 evo chain. All 3 are just modifications of pawmi's design (which is peak) but pawmot just looks like a knockoff pawmo. The extra fluff detracts from the sleek roundness of the design. Also the model is jank.

I can't change out of the uniform?? NOOOOOOO i didnt know and chose scarlet and now I'm stuck in orange. I dont like orange. This was my mistake.

Gyms should have been level synced that power scaling otherwise is so janky. I did katy, kofu, larry. Kofu wiped me 4 times. Then brassius iono when i realized their levels and slept through the fights.

I was vaguely confused about tera types for a while because the game doesnt explain very well that it replaces the defensive typing but combined with the offensive typing. Ah well thats what the internet is for. Fans have been talking for years about 3 type pokemon and i feel like so far it's been a series of lost opportunities. Like lectric mismagius? Really should have been psychic mismagius at least. Or what about bug flygon and drapion. Water dragalge. Dragon gyarados or charizard. Like gyrados really would have fit kofu (or maybe blastoise or wiscash) and instead of always being able to predict the tera type this would have made things more interesting. Fighting inciniroar. Poison shiontic. Grass florges. Also looking at the gym leaders what an absolute missed opportunity for larry's gym and elite 4 teams to be exactly the same it would have been so funny.
