Find the Right Car for Automobile Dealerships Near You
Tumblr media
Navigating the world of automobile purchases can be a daunting task, but with a multitude of options available in your vicinity, its easier than ever. Whether youre searching for auto dealers near me or more specific options like buy here pay here car dealerships near me, theres something out there for everyone. This guide will walk you through finding the right car for your needs and preferences, all while staying local.
1. Start with General Searches
When beginning your journey to a new car, you might be tempted to type automobile dealerships near me into your preferred search engine. This is a good starting point, as it will bring up a plethora of dealers in your region. However, for those looking to get even more specific, auto sales near me can narrow down your results to places that might have ongoing sales or promotions. If youre looking for a broader range of options, checking out USA cars for sale can provide a wider selection, incorporating both new and used vehicles.
2. Delve into Used Cars
Theres a significant market for used cars, and for many, they offer the perfect balance between quality and affordability. If youre focused on this category, a search for Used Cars For Sale USA should be your goto. Not only will this yield results for nationwide listings, but youll also find a number of local dealerships that specialize in used vehicles.
3. The Buy Here, Pay Here Option
For those unfamiliar with the term, buy here pay here car dealerships near me refers to dealerships that offer inhouse financing, meaning they provide loans to buyers directly without the need for thirdparty lenders or banks. This can be beneficial for individuals with lessthanstellar credit histories or those who simply prefer a more straightforward purchasing process. Searching for pay here buy here car lots near me will give you a list of these dealerships in your vicinity.
4. The Benefits of InHouse Financing
Expanding on the buy here, pay here model, inhouse financing offers several benefits. With terms like in house financing car lots and in house financing cars near me, youll discover that many dealerships are willing to finance the cars they sell directly to the consumers. This not only simplifies the buying process but can also lead to more flexible payment terms and potentially lower interest rates, especially for those who might struggle with obtaining a traditional loan.
5. Specialised Dealerships
Lastly, if youre searching for specific or niche dealerships, it might be worth looking into tx auto dealer in USA. While this might sound specific, theres a growing number of Texasbased dealerships that have garnered a reputation for quality vehicles and exceptional service, and many have expanded their operations to serve clients nationwide.
TX Auto Dealer in the USA
The automotive industry in the USA is vast and diverse, with various states playing crucial roles in different facets of the market. Among them, Texas stands out prominently with its influential network of auto dealers. The TX auto dealer in USA is not just a term but a testament to the states significant footprint in the national automotive retail landscape. These dealerships, ranging from familyowned establishments to largescale franchises, offer a wide variety of vehicles catering to the diverse needs of the American populace. Known for their commitment to customer service, competitive pricing, and a vast inventory, Texas auto dealers have carved a niche for themselves, setting benchmarks for others to follow. Their prominence isnt just limited to the Lone Star State; the reputation of a TX auto dealer resonates across the country, reinforcing Texass status as a major hub in the USAs automotive sector.
In House Financing Car Lots
Inhouse financing car lots, often referred to as Buy Here Pay Here dealerships, offer a unique and often beneficial approach to vehicle purchasing. Unlike traditional car dealerships that rely on external financial institutions or banks to provide loans to buyers, inhouse financing dealerships extend credit directly to the consumer. This method can be particularly advantageous for individuals with lessthanperfect credit histories, as it allows for a more streamlined and potentially forgiving financing process. By eliminating the middleman, these car lots can often offer more flexible payment terms and may be more willing to work with buyers to find a mutually agreeable payment plan. As with any financial agreement, its important for consumers to thoroughly understand the terms and conditions before committing, but for many, inhouse financing provides a viable and convenient option for vehicle acquisition.
Used automobile dealerships near me
Navigating the world of used cars can often seem daunting, given the plethora of options and the need for thorough inspections to ensure quality. However, when I keyed in used automobile dealerships near me into my search engine, I was pleasantly surprised by the range of reputable dealers in close proximity. These local dealerships not only offer a diverse selection of vehicles catering to various preferences and budgets but also come with the added advantage of community reviews and firsthand testimonies. This local touch makes the purchase process more transparent and instills a sense of trust. As Ive come to learn, finding the right used car isnt just about the vehicles history; its also about the credibility of the dealership, and fortunately, I have several commendable options right in my neighborhood.
Used Cars For Sale USA
Across the vast expanse of the USA, the used car market thrives, offering potential buyers an array of choices suitable for every taste, need, and budget. The beauty of the American used car market lies in its diversity; from vintage classics that narrate tales of bygone eras to nearly new models that promise modern amenities at a fraction of the price.
Whether one is hunting for a rugged SUV to navigate challenging terrains, a compact city car for daily commutes, or a familyfriendly sedan, the Used Cars For Sale USA listings provide a treasure trove of options. With the rise of certified preowned programs, warranties, and thorough inspection processes, purchasing a used car in the USA has never been safer or more appealing. As consumers become more environmentally and economically conscious, the appeal of preowned vehicles, with their reduced carbon footprint and costeffective pricing, continues to grow, solidifying their place in the American automotive landscape.
Conclusion
The process of finding the right car might seem overwhelming, but with the tools at your disposal and the vast number of local options available, youre well on your way to driving off with the perfect vehicle. Remember, start broad with searches like auto dealers near me and then narrow down based on your specific needs and preferences. Whether youre looking for a brandnew luxury vehicle or a reliable used car with inhouse financing options, theres a dealership out there waiting to serve you.

OHMAMI — QUINN HUGHES

Tumblr media
“you’re sure about this?” i mindlessly wander the office of the luxury dealership, my fingertips running over any surface they can touch.
“why wouldn’t i be?” Quinn peers up at me from his spot in a chair, his iphone in his hands, mid-texting his younger brother.
“i don’t know, Q. it’s just a lot of money is all.” shrugging, i shuffle my feet back over to my boyfriend, where i let my hands rest on his shoulders as i stand behind him.
Quinn lets out a chuckle, pulling one of my hands in his and raising it to his lips to press a gentle kiss against my knuckles.
“i appreciate the financial concern, baby, but i think i’ll be okay.”
i sigh, moving around to sit on his lap. “okay.”
his arm spindles around my waist as he draws me back, my back flat against his chest. my fingers unconsciously draw shapes on his forearm, near the crook of his elbow, as he continues texting Jack about the big purchase he’s about to make.
i eye his phone, watching the blue and gray bubbles pop up back and forth and hoping we’ll be done here soon.
two hours of looking at cars, Quinn asking a multitude of questions to the salesman; half an hour of paperwork, and another half hour of waiting for said salesman to run Quinn’s name through the system, checking his credit score and whatever various other things needed to buy such a high-end car. i’ve been stuck at this dealership for three hours now, unplanned, as Quinn had pulled into the establishment after our spur-of-the-moment 3pm lunch date, claiming he just wanted to take a quick look at a couple of cars.
“Quinny,” i breathe out, letting my head fall backwards on his shoulder while his hand starts mindlessly rubbing up and down my thigh. “how much longer will we have to be here?”
“i don’t know, baby. hopefully not too much longer.” he locks his phone, setting it on his thigh and using his now free hand to caress my cheek, simultaneously turning my head to look into my eyes.
“is my girl tired?” he coos at the sight of my fluttering eyelids, leaning in to brush his lips lightly over mine.
“mhm” i hum, burrowing my face in his neck. his hand moves as i do, now resting on the back of my head, holding it in its position.
it’s at this moment that the salesman decides to make his re-entrance. “alright! everything checks out, looks good!”
i immediately attempt to pry myself from my boyfriend, but he holds me in place, clearly not bothered by the new company.
“i knew it would!” Quinn smiles back at the man, putting on his usual charm.
“now all we need is that down payment and you’ll be driving out of here in your very own Ferrari!” the salesman, i haven’t bothered to learn his name, chimes. “do you have a credit card you can give me?”
“yep,” Quinn taps my butt, signaling for me to lift it so he can grab his wallet from his pocket. i do so and he unpockets his wallet before pulling me back down on his lap. “here you go.”
the man takes Quinn’s card, taking a seat at his desk and punching the information from the card before handing it back.
“alright,” he grabs a few papers from the printer behind him, stapling them together and scribbling in a few places before sliding them towards my boyfriend. “just sign here, and here.”
Quinn leans forward and his left arm tightens around my waist to keep me situated on his lap, taking the pen in his right hand and autographing his signature twice.
“congratulations!” the salesman grins, handing the new keys to Quinn and shaking his hand.
“thanks, man.” Quinn smiles crookedly, rising from the chair and bringing me up with him.
we follow behind the salesman, back out to the Ferrari that Quinn just bought; which is now parked next to Jack’s Range Rover, in which we drove here.
i take Jack’s keys from Quinn with a sigh. knowing i’m now responsible for getting such an expensive car back to the lake house is a frightening task that i didn’t expect to be doing today, but one i’m now stuck with nonetheless.
“i’ll see you back at the house, yeah?” Quinn smiles. his hand grips my waist, pulling my lower half into his as he lowers his lips onto mine in a breathless kiss.
“yeah, wish me luck. if i get even a scratch on this car, Jack will have my head on a stick.” i gnaw at my lower lip in anxiety, but his free hand comes up to my chin, his thumb pulling my lip free from my teeth.
“nah, he loves you too much. he’d have my head on a stick.” he laughs, before lightly nudging me back towards the car.
“that’s even worse!” i tease. “how am i supposed to explain to the Canucks that their star defenseman is dead because i scratched his brothers car?”
“eh, you’re smart,” he winks, rounding the Ferrari. “you’ll think of something.”
we climb into the respective cars, and Quinn is gracious enough to wait while i adjust the seat to my height before he begins leading the way to the lake house.
the drive is smooth, and when we arrive at the house, Quinn opens my door as i return the seat adjustments back to the way Jack had them.
“see?” he grins, leaning over my body to unbuckle my seatbelt for me. “the car is all good.”
“it better be. that car is my baby.” Jack pipes up from behind him, making Quinn roll his eyes. “if anything were to happen-”
“yeah, yeah.” he cuts him off. “if anything were to happen to it, you would’ve killed her.”
i feign a gasp, jokingly smacking his arm.
“you said he would kill you.” i say in mock shock.
Quinn shrugs. “i was trying to calm your nerves.”
i playfully push him away, hopping out of the car to face Jack, who’s now too busy ogling the Ferrari to pay any attention to his own vehicle.
“i’m gonna go see if your mom needs any help with dinner.” i announce, already stepping towards the house. “have fun showing off your new toy, babe!”
i pass by a horde of guys on my way into the house, bumping hips with Cole, who ends up giggling.
“going to see the new thing?” i ask, and Trevor stops dead in his tracks.
“that thing is a 2022 Ferrari GTC4Lusso.” Trevor explains, as if i understand a single thing he’s just said.
“sure. whatever it is, it cost a lot.” i shrug, carrying on into the house. “enjoy.”
i join Ellen in the kitchen, making myself busy by tossing together the salad ingredients she has on the counter.
we make small talk as we cook, letting the men have their fun gawking at the new car, and enjoying the silence that comes with it.
“do you wanna go tell them dinner is ready?” she more so tells me to do, and i fake a pout.
“do i have to? it’s so peaceful. we could easily just slip out back and eat dinner by the lake without them ever even noticing.” i wiggle my eyebrows enticingly and she laughs, shooing me off towards the front door.
“i had to try.” i giggle out, opening the front door to the gaggle of men. “boys! dinner’s ready!”
they all make their way up the porch and i stand idly by, waiting for my own man to enter the house. finally, he appears at the very back of the group, smirking as he wraps an arm around my waist, walking me to the dining room.
“i was thinking after dinner, you and i could go for a drive. just us.” he pecks a kiss to my cheek as we sit at the table, and i nod.
“sure, sounds nice.” his hand rests on my thigh now, partly covered by my sundress, and i squirm a little at his touch on my bare skin.
it’s been at least three weeks since Quinn and i have been able to do anything past PG-13, him not wanting to risk it while his parents are here, and i’m starting to feel restless.
the smallest touches from him have been causing me to get slick with need, and i squeeze my thighs together to provide myself some friction, but it never helps. like now.
i know Quinn has caught on because his grip tightens just the slightest bit, his thumb beginning to stroke my skin.
“you okay, baby?” he’s teasing me, asking his question in such a sweet tone that anyone else at the dinner table would think he’s just checking in on his girlfriend, but he and i know that isn’t the case.
“mhm” i hum, attempting to ignore his touch as i fill my plate and his.
“now y/n, Quinn is a grown man with two hands; he can make his own plate, honey.” Ellen jests, poking a dig at her eldest son.
“acts of service is her love language, ma.” Quinn pokes back before pressing another chaste kiss to my cheek, muttering his thank you as we begin to eat.
the table is filled with a generous amount of chatting as we eat; Jack telling a story about something that happened in Jersey, Luke telling everyone about how Luca Fantilli got his head stuck in stair banisters… twice, Trevor going on a long-winded rant about a missed goal; but Quinn and i are mostly silent. Quinn because he’s just almost been more of the listen rather than talk type, and me because i don’t trust my voice while my boyfriend is currently inching his hand up the bottom of my dress.
someone seems to catch onto my lack of interest though, because Alex eyes me curiously from his spot in front of me, and then chooses to speak up.
“you’re quiet tonight, y/n.” his statement draws the attention of the rest of the group, their eyes gravitating towards me.
“just tired.” i fib, my voice tight as Quinn’s hand slowly slides towards my inner thigh, now just far enough away that if he spreads his fingers, his pinky will graze against my wet panties. “who knew three hours at a car dealership could be so draining.”
Cole laughs, obviously buying my lie, which causes the rest of the table to chuckle.
“oh yeah, honey. buying a car will do that.” Ellen sympathizes. “the long process sucks the life right out of you.”
the chatter carries on around me and i return to my silence. dinner has long since been finished, and Luke proposes making s’mores for dessert, so Quinn takes that as our chance to escape.
“you guys go ahead,” he starts. his warm touch disappears from my skin as he rises from his chair. “y/n and i are gonna go for a drive. i wanna show her why this purchase was worth it.”
he holds his hand out for mine and i falter, looking between Ellen and him.
“i usually help your mom with the dishes.” i remind him, gesturing towards the table full of plates.
“oh don’t worry about it,” Ellen chimes. “Jack can help me.”
“i- what?” Jack sputters, finally looking away from the phone screen he’s been engrossed in for the past few minutes. “what about me? i was checking the Yankees score.”
Quinn rolls his eyes at his younger brother, shaking his head as he grasps my hand, pulling me up from my seat and leading me through the house.
“we’ll be back in a little bit!” he calls out as we exit through the front door.
climbing into the car, i can feel the excitement radiating off of him.
“okay, i know i’m not a car person, but what is a drive in it supposed to show me?” i ask as he starts the engine. his hand gravitates to the back of my headrest as he reverses out of the driveway, his eyes flicking between the backup camera and the back window of the car.
it should be illegal to be this hot while reversing a car.
fuck, y/n. focus.
“you’ll understand once you ride it.”
i scan his body, my eyes lingering in one specific place.
i can think of something i’d like to ride.
shit, y/n. think with your brain, not your hormones.
“okay.” i drag out, leaning back in the seat and relaxing as he drives down the street.
the car is quiet besides the soft hum of the radio, tuned into a random pop hits station that i know Quinn turned on just for me.
his left hand sits on the steering wheel, while his right reaches over to lay upon my thigh, causing my thoughts to run wild. fantasies and memories of us tangled in the sheets, his hand on my throat as he hovers above me, or better yet; his hand in between my legs, his fingers working me toward my orgasm.
i can feel my skin get red and hot, as i imagine all the ways i would be with him if we weren’t stuck in a house full of people.
… but we’re not there now.
Quinn exits onto the highway, the car speeding up as he does so, and i glance toward the back seat.
it’s small, but we could make it work.
my hand snakes up to sit on top of his and his eyes flicker towards me, a soft smile resting on his lips at the sweet gesture. and i let him believe that for a few minutes before i’m pulling his hand up my thigh, closer towards my soaking core.
“baby-” he breathes out, his words failing him when he finally feels how wet i am.
“we’re all alone.” i state, my head lolling back against the seat as his fingers start stroking me through my panties like they have a mind of their own.
“baby, i’m driving.” his voice is strained, a vein popping out on his neck as he clenches his jaw.
my hand leaves his, instead reaching over to palm him through his jeans, in which his left hand leaves the wheel to lightly swat mine away.
“i can’t drive if you do that.”
i huff but it blends into a moan as his thumb begins to circle my clit.
“so, pull over.” i suggest, ready for something more.
he’s hesitant, i can tell, so i pull out the secret weapon.
“please, daddy.” i whimper, reaching over to palm his now hard cock once more.
“fuck.” he curses, switching lanes to get off on the next exit.
he quickly finds a mostly abandoned lookout, only one other car parked on the other side of the lot, and switches into park.
his eyes are cloudy with need as he turns to look at me, his fingers still working themselves on my bundle of nerves. my breaths come out in heavy pants that mingle with moans.
“faster.” i plead, but rather than obeying my lust-hazed command, he pulls his hand away completely. i mewl at the loss of touch, but his hand winds up to the base of my neck, his grasp just light enough to remind me who’s in charge, but not tight enough to do any harm to my air supply.
“you don’t call the shots here, darling.” he whispers before pulling me by his grip into a bruising kiss.
his tongue brushes against mine and his teeth bite down on my lower lip, making me whimper. when he pulls away, i can just barely make out his features within the darkness of the Ferrari.
“get in the back.” he orders and i scramble to unbuckle my seatbelt, climbing over the center console and into the divided backseat.
rather than joining me by climbing back, Quinn exits the car, rounding the front and opening the passenger side door. he pulls the passenger seat forward, climbing in on his knees and shutting the door, the seat still pulled as far forward as it’ll go.
his arms hook around my legs, pulling me forward so that i’m slumped in the seat, my ass sitting on the edge. he looks up at me with dark eyes, placing my legs over his shoulders as he leans forward.
his hands glide up my legs, bunching my sundress up to my waist. his tongue licks a stripe over my clothed cunt and i shudder, my left hand attempting to grip at the leather of the backseat center console, as my right finds itself tangled in his hair.
he pulls away, despite my attempts to hold him in place, and his fingertips play with the waistband of my lacy yellow panties.
“beg me.” he insists, teasing me by hooking his fingers in the sides of my underwear, but not making any further moves.
“please, Quinn.” i plead, and he pulls one side away from my skin then lets it snap back into place, causing me to jolt.
“uh-uh.” he shakes his head, backing away just slightly.
“please, daddy, please.” i cry out, attempting to pull him in again. “i’ll be good, i promise.”
“yeah?” Quinn taunts, slowly pulling my panties down my legs as i lift myself just barely from the seat. he knocks my legs from his shoulders, pulling the under garment off and throwing it in the front seat.
“mhm.” i nod my head wildly, my brows raising as i do so. “i’ll be so good. just please, please, do something.”
Quinn wastes no more time, pushing one of my legs up to hook over the backseat center console as the other hooks over his shoulder. he dives down, licking up my heat like a man starved.
his tongue circles my clit and my head drops back, but he provides a swift smack to my thigh to remind me to look at him. one of his rules.
i bite my lip to try and muffle my cries of pleasure, his hand rising to pull the top of my dress down just enough for my breasts to pop out. he grips one, harshly squeezing before he pinches at my nipple.
my jaw drops open, a breathy moan escaping my lips as my back attempts to arch in the small space.
“fuck!” i cry out, tugging at his hair. “yes, daddy!”
he shifts between sucking on clit to licking in my cunt, fucking me with his tongue. my hips stutter and he holds my leg open as it tries to unhook itself from the console in order to close on his head.
i tug again at his hair, pushing his head further into me, and he moans, the vibrations flowing straight into my core. i cry out again, the familiar knot in my stomach slowly building the longer he continues.
“please!” i whine. “please, make me come!”
Quinn’s dips down to show more love to my pussy, and his nose brushes against my clit, my hips immediately beginning to grind against him. my legs begin to shake and i can feel myself getting closer and closer to release.
“right there! don’t stop!”
i’m sure anyone outside the car can probably hear my screams, but it doesn’t deter me. too busy chasing my high to care what anyone else may think.
of course, Quinn doesn’t listen, knowing my body well enough to know exactly what will set me off. his lips close around my clit, sucking and flicking his tongue, and it only takes a few moments for me to reach the edge.
“i’m gonna come! fuck, i’m gonna come!” i warn him but he only pushes deeper, flicking his tongue faster against the button of nerves, and i let out a guttural moan as i finally let go, coming on his face. he laps at my release, riding me through my orgasm, only stopping once i begin to twitch at the feeling.
“now you see why i won’t do anything at the house?” he teases, smirking as he wipes at the juices on his chin with the back of his hoodie sleeve. “you’re so vocal. i love it, but i don’t want anyone else hearing your sounds. they’re just for me.”
my hand hook around the nape of his neck and i pull him up to my face, pressing my lips against his. he moans into the kiss and i can taste myself on his lips; slightly sweet, slightly salty, and it turns me on; pushing me towards another round.
i release him from my grasp, lightly shooing him backwards and fiddling with the button on his pants.
“i want you to fuck me.” i breathe out, pulling his zipper down.
“oh yeah?” his smirk grows, clearly not expecting any more than we just did.
“yes, please.” i nod, pulling his pants down, his erection popping free and slapping against his clothed torso. “please fuck me, daddy.”
i maneuver myself onto my knees, slowly bending myself over the center console, allowing my right leg to straighten some, my foot dropping down to the floor of the car as the other leg stays bent on the backseat; allowing him a full view of my glistening pussy.
“since you asked so nicely, baby.” Quinn joins me on the seat, knelt behind me at a slightly awkward angle as he pulls his pants down some more.
i bite back a giddy smile, waiting impatiently for him to fill me up, and i’m not disappointed when i look back to find him grasping his cock. he runs it through my folds a few times, lubing himself up with my release, and i arch my back to better accommodate him.
my eyes roll back, a moan bubbling up my throat as he pushes his tip into my entrance, thrusting in just slightly before pulling back and repeating.
“daddy, please.” i whine, still frustratingly horny and awaiting his full size.
it doesn’t take any more begging than that, Quinn suddenly bottoming out inside me.
“fuck, baby, you feel so good.” he groans, but i’m too busy choking out my own cries to reply.
he begins thrusting slowly, and i nearly let out a sob of relief at the feeling.
“whadd’ya think?” he asks, his voice strained as he thrusts into me, fucking my hips into the leather of the center console. “how does my cock feel, fucking your greedy little pussy?”
“so good!” i exclaim, pushing back against him. my eyes squeeze shut as his hand wraps around my throat, the other gripping my hip. “feels so good!”
“love watching your ass bounce off me as i fuck you like this.” he groans and his dirty talk succeeds in making me clench around him, causing him to moan.
i peek back to find his head thrown back, his jaw slack and his eyes firmly shut for a moment before he looks back down, making eye contact with me.
he leans forward, his front pressing against my back as he kisses my lips, nipping at my lips before he pulls back and continues fucking into me at a faster rhythm.
my head drops forward, my hair curtaining my face, and i let out a cry of pleasure as he begins rubbing my clit.
my back arches again, and i whimper when his hand leaves my throat in order to smooth down my spine, pushing my back down further.
“taking me so well.” he praises, thrusting harder than before, and i can feel the knot that had just come undone, tangling back together. “such a good girl for me.”
”only for you, daddy.” he continues his assault on my clit and the sensation mixed with the fullness of him pushing into me makes my legs begin to shake once more.
i can feel his dick pulsating, and his strokes become sloppier, assuring me that he’s close. i clench around him, my eyes rolling back and stars dancing in my vision.
“oh god, i’m coming!” i announce.
Quinn grips my hip tight, “god isn’t in this car, baby.”
my hips begin to falter in their movements, my body locking up and my breath catching in my throat as i come for the second time tonight.
my orgasm spurs on his; his hips stuttering and his breathing falling heavy, a grunt escaping his lips as he finishes inside of me.
his thrusts stop, the car falling silent except our heavy pants as we catch our breath. the windows are fogged, the scent of sex lingering around us.
Quinn pulls out of me and i slump against the center console, listening to him pull his pants back up. he pulls my sundress back down to cover my ass before he sits, gripping my hips and pulling me back and onto his lap, my back now pressed against the side of the car.
my head lolls sideways onto his shoulder, my eyes closed, and he chuckles, tucking a lock of hair behind my ear. caressing my cheek, he pecks a soft kiss onto my nose and the corners of my lips twitch up in a smile.
“worth the wait?” he questions and my eyelids flutter open. i nod, craning my neck to kiss his cheek, and he smiles.
“my girl needs some sleep, huh?” he asks, and i nod again, but make no moves to get up. “let’s get you home.”
my limbs feel like jello as i climb out of the car, letting him out before i push the passenger seat back and sit back down, buckling up. Quinn rounds the car, climbing into the drivers side and starting the engine once more.
but before beginning to drive, he reaches down and pulls my panties out from under his thigh. laughing, he hands them back to me, and i giggle as i pull them back on.
the ride home is mostly quiet, my head resting against the cool glass window and our hands laced together, with his right one back in its place on the steering wheel.
“well,” i start as we pull into the driveway, my voice hoarse from my earlier cries. “we christened the car.”
Quinn lets out a hearty laugh, letting go of my hand to put the car in park and turn off the engine.
he jumps out of the car as i unbuckle, making his way around to my door and letting me out.
“what do you think the odds are that they’ll be asleep?” he grins as i pretend to ponder his question.
“your parents? one hundred percent. everyone else? maybe twenty percent.” i joke and he shrugs.
“i’ll take those odds.” we make our way up the porch and he unlocks the door, attempting to stay quiet in order to sneak past any stray boys still in the open space of the house.
but luck is officially not on our side as we open the front door to the living room full of his brothers and their friends on the couch playing video games.
Quinn quietly curses as heads turn to look at us, and Trevor is the first to put together our long drive and our disheveled appearances. he busts out in laughter, pointing between my boyfriend and i.
“oh you guys fucked.” he cackles, wheezing in amusement.
Jack and Luke’s noses scrunch for a moment before they too join in on the laughter, but luckily Alex and Cole just shake their heads at their friends.
“you guys are so immature.” Quinn scoffs, lacing his hand in mine as we head toward the stairs, up to our bedroom.
“in the new car, guys? seriously?” Jack calls out, and his older brother rolls his eyes, continuing up the stairs.
“goodnight!”

The King's Men - Chapter Nine
Day: Saturday, January 20th Time: 4:38 PM EST
Andrew sat beside him and held something up. Neil looked, but it took a minute before he understood what Andrew was offering him. The dealership had given him two keys for his new ride, and Andrew was giving the second one to Neil. When Neil took too long to take it from him, Andrew dropped it on the concrete between them. "A man can only have so many issues," Andrew said. "It is just a key." "You're a foster child. You know it isn't," Neil said. He didn't pick the key up but pressed two fingers to it, learning the shape and feel of this newest gift. "I've always had enough cash to live comfortably, but all the decent places ask too many questions. There are background checks and credit checks and references, things I can't provide on my own without leaving too much of a trail. I squatted in Millport. Before that I stayed in decrepit weekly hotels or broke into people's cars or found places that were happy being paid under the table. "It's always been 'go'," Neil said. He turned his hand palm-up and traced a key into his skin with his fingertip. He'd toyed with Andrew's house key so many times he knew every dip and ridge by heart. "It's always been 'lie' and 'hide' and 'disappear'. I've never belonged anywhere or had the right to call anything my own. But Coach gave me keys to the court, and you told me to stay. You gave me a key and called it home." Neil clenched his hand, imagining the bite of metal against his palm, and lifted his gaze to Andrew's face. "I haven't had a home since my parents died."

Jolene's Emergency Vet Visit
Tumblr media
Description posted from GoFundMe Campaign:
So for those of you who gave followed me (and maybe seen the update) you'll know Salem has been missing for almost 6 months.
She was my ESA, and given my declining mental health, I didn't have much choice but to get a new ESA.
Enter miss Jolene Macchiato L. Whom I adopted almost two months ago and have whole heartedly decided to keep after realizing just how well we mesh.
You may also know I've been in the hospital the last few days - staying with my roommate who was admitted. I've been coming home to feed the cats and (unsuccessfully) treat them for ear mites. My new roommate was dog sitting and he brought fleas and ear mites into our home.
During this time, Jolene went to the bathroom on my bed multiple times. I at first chalked it up to stress and was told to keep an eye on here. Less than a day of being back from the hospital and her stool is light in color, runny, and most terrifyingly, has blood in it.
This is no longer an issue of stress, but could be a major intestinal/stomach problem when mixed with her inability to wait and use her litterbox. On top of that, she was running around like she was in pain, or something was wrong prior to going.
My second job is not a sure thing yet - it has been more than two weeks since the company reached out to me - and I have been looking for more. The money I thought I won was more a scam to get me down to the car dealership (which by the way, I hated as is because of the older man behaving increasingly grossly and inappropriate towards me).
My funding for Salem has stopped at this point - I have done every physical thing I can to find and bring her home. And now I need to focus on the new feline in my care.
I am taking Jolene to the vet tomorrow and using my new credit card - but there are limited funds and paying it back is my current concern when I have payments taking up to the 1,000s combined due these next two months.
I am setting it to $550 for now (because they take a portion), but the price my change depending on what the vet says and what is wrong.
I know she still need to get treated for ear mites ($300 on it's own) because the current medications I've been using are not working."
This is my fundraiser.
Additional pictures of her adoption papers added on here as well proving when I got her. JOLENE IS A REGISTERED ESA NOW.
Jolene as far as I have been told is two years old, though she is very small for her age. She is a sweet heart though she was likely on the streets for a most of not all her life before she was taken to the shelter and I adopted her a month later.
She is a sweet cat that just wants to check and make sure that you're okay. She'll cuddle. She doesn't meow but she does trill and sound like yoshi.
She just wants to make friends with everyone. And if you're not petting her enough then the grabs your hand and brings it right to her face as she stands on her back legs.
This is the last fundraiser I'm making. Ask anyone I know in real life and they'll tell you just how much I despise asking for help. I want to be able to do things on my own. But until I get one bite from the hundreds (literally) of jobs I've applied to as a secondary then I'm at a loss. I can't afford to wait and save up for this vet Visit - not when her health is on the line.
I can post a picture of her at the vets office tomorrow as well to confirm, along with the update of what they set.
GoFundMe
PayPal
Venmo
Currently $750/$750
Tumblr media
UPDATE - 08.02.2023
UNDER THE CUT
We went to the vet today.
TL:DR - she is on medications for the next two weeks, roughly. She did very good at the vet and was very brave. $500 was close, it will come out to be roughly $700 all together after ear mite treatment; we are holding off for now until the other cat in the house can be treated or they will just jump between them, which gives some more time to get there funds. But the over the counter medications are not strong enough to fight the infestation, and depending on severity, it could lead to long term health problems.
So I changed it from $550 -> $750 (again, because they take a processing fee). I also added in there roughly $200 that had been sent from PayPal and Venmo to give a more accurate show off current raised funds.
Below are screenshots of the update explaining more, along with pictures of Jolene at the vet today.
(Straight up, I almost cried because in the right two months that I have had her this was the first time she had crawled into my lap to lay down and cuddle with me.)

What kind of work can be done on a commodore 64 or those other old computers? The tech back then was extremely limited but I keep seeing portable IBMs and such for office guys.
I asked a handful of friends for good examples, and while this isn't an exhaustive list, it should give you a taste.
I'll lean into the Commodore 64 as a baseline for what era to hone in one, let's take a look at 1982 +/-5 years.
A C64 can do home finances, spreadsheets, word processing, some math programming, and all sorts of other other basic productivity work. Games were the big thing you bought a C64 for, but we're not talking about games here -- we're talking about work. I bought one that someone used to write and maintain a local user group newsletter on both a C64C and C128D for years, printing labels and letters with their own home equipment, mailing floppies full of software around, that sorta thing.
IBM PCs eventually became capable of handling computer aided design (CAD) work, along with a bunch of other standard productivity software. The famous AutoCAD was mostly used on this platform, but it began life on S-100 based systems from the 1970s.
Spreadsheets were a really big deal for some platforms. Visicalc was the killer app that the Apple II can credit its initial success with. Many other platforms had clones of Visicalc (and eventually ports) because it was groundbreaking to do that sort of list-based mathematical work so quickly, and so error-free. I can't forget to mention Lotus 1-2-3 on the IBM PC compatibles, a staple of offices for a long time before Microsoft Office dominance.
CP/M machines like Kaypro luggables were an inexpensive way of making a "portable" productivity box, handling some of the lighter tasks mentioned above (as they had no graphics functionality).
The TRS-80 Model 100 was able to do alot of computing (mostly word processing) on nothing but a few AA batteries. They were a staple of field correspondence for newspaper journalists because they had an integrated modem. They're little slabs of computer, but they're awesomely portable, and great for writing on the go. Everyone you hear going nuts over cyberdecks gets that because of the Model 100.
Centurion minicomputers were mostly doing finances and general ledger work for oil companies out of Texas, but were used for all sorts of other comparable work. They were multi-user systems, running several terminals and atleast one printer on one central database. These were not high-performance machines, but entire offices were built around them.
Tandy, Panasonic, Sharp, and other brands of pocket computers were used for things like portable math, credit, loan, etc. calculation for car dealerships. Aircraft calculations, replacing slide rules were one other application available on cassette. These went beyond what a standard pocket calculator could do without a whole lot of extra work.
Even something like the IBM 5340 with an incredibly limited amount of RAM but it could handle tracking a general ledger, accounts receivable, inventory management, storing service orders for your company. Small bank branches uses them because they had peripherals that could handle automatic reading of the magnetic ink used on checks. Boring stuff, but important stuff.
I haven't even mentioned Digital Equipment Corporation, Data General, or a dozen other manufacturers.
I'm curious which portable IBM you were referring to initially.
All of these examples are limited by today's standards, but these were considered standard or even top of the line machines at the time. If you write software to take advantage of the hardware you have, however limited, you can do a surprising amount of work on a computer of that era.

How to Buy a Car Online
Buying a car online offers a unique convenience, but it’s essential to approach the process with a plan.
Tumblr media
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you purchase a car online confidently and securely.
1. Set a Budget and Define Your Needs
Decide on a budget and list your must-have features. Consider whether you need a new or used car, your preferred make and model, fuel efficiency, and any additional features that matter to you. Establishing your needs early on will help narrow your options and streamline your search.
2. Research Reliable Websites and Sellers
Stick to reputable online car marketplaces and dealership websites to avoid scams. Look for verified sellers, read customer reviews, and check the Better Business Bureau for ratings. Some popular and trusted platforms include Carvana, Autotrader, and Vroom. Many dealerships also offer virtual showrooms with secure purchasing options.
3. Conduct a Thorough Vehicle Inspection
Once you’ve found a car that interests you, request detailed photos and a video tour. Look for any signs of wear, rust, or damage, and ask about the car’s history. For used vehicles, check the VIN and obtain a vehicle history report through CARFAX or AutoCheck. It will provide information on the car’s maintenance record, previous ownership, and any reported accidents.
4. Verify Pricing and Value
Use tools like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds to get an estimate of the car’s fair market value. Comparing the asking price to these resources ensures you’re paying a reasonable amount and gives you leverage for negotiation.
5. Arrange Financing and Insurance
If you’re not paying in cash, arrange financing through your bank, credit union, or directly through the online car platform if they offer financing options. Shop around for the best interest rates and terms, and get pre-approved if possible. You’ll also need to secure insurance coverage for the car before finalizing the purchase.
6. Schedule a Virtual or In-Person Test Drive
If the car is within reach, test drive it in person to assess comfort, handling, and overall performance. If you’re buying from out of state, many sellers offer virtual test drives via live video calls, where they can demonstrate features and provide a closer look.
7. Negotiate the Price
Don’t hesitate to negotiate, especially if you’ve noticed minor issues or can provide lower price comparisons. Negotiating online is often straightforward, with many platforms allowing you to make offers and negotiate via chat or email.
8. Finalize Paperwork Securely
Complete all necessary paperwork securely, including title transfer, bill of sale, and any required warranty information. Ensure the contract includes any promised services or warranties, and carefully read through all terms. Most online platforms and dealerships will offer a secure digital signing process, or you may be mailed the documents to sign.
9. Arrange Delivery
If the car is far from your location, work with a reliable transport service to have it delivered to your home. Many online car sellers provide their own delivery services, while independent transport services like Viceroy Auto Transport also offer secure and timely vehicle delivery.
10. Inspect Upon Delivery
Once the car arrives, thoroughly inspect it to ensure it matches the listing and is in the agreed-upon condition. Verify that it includes all promised items, such as spare keys or additional equipment, and perform a final test drive if possible.
By following these steps, buying a car online can be a smooth and secure process. With the right preparation, you can find and purchase a vehicle from the comfort of home, making online car shopping a convenient alternative to traditional dealerships.

Good morning. 🌻🌻🌻
Tumblr media
14 August 2023
I've scaled posting for the right now. Universedon.com is having some difficulties - something to do with upgrades. I usually try to re-boost my post every 3 or 4 hours so that I hopefully reach people all around the world. It's always morning somewhere, you know. Right now, the "unboost" function isn't working very well.
This morning I took my car to the shop for a service. I really like the car. I've been thinking about a new care, but I don't drive as much as I used to drive. There's no going back and forth to work. So, it's hard to work up a new car fever. I was a little annoyed when checking out at the car dealership. They have a 3% charge if you use a credit card, so I used a debit card. I think it's a sign that business isn't so good.

Pancho’s Myopic Movie Review - I : AMERICAN PSYCHO
Part I: The Best Comedy - Funnier than the Exorcist!
So, I wanted to start this blog with a bang. Picture, if you will, a young man freshly relieved of his husbandly duties due to a sudden and rather untimely change in emotions on the part of his now ex-wife who thought it no better than to disappear in the middle of the night with a doctor who drives sports cars and eats lobster on a private jet. And who would you guess was left on the side of the road waiting to be picked up from work by the same now ex-wife who absconded with the family jewels and flown off to god knows where to ease her troubled soul? That would be me, your dear humble narrator JP Pancho who walked home in the the dead of night because he couldn’t afford an Uber. Such was my dismay that I found myself in a deep, dark bottomless hole of hate, self reflection, and bitter loathing. However, I was not to stay there too long, no my brothers, for I had bills to pay, you see. The landlord isn’t too kind to those who can’t pay his rent, and my time of mourning was at an end a mere week later.
Tumblr media
It just so happened that I managed to land myself back on my feet as a car salesman three states away, as many divorcees often find themselves. At that dealership I noticed many things. I made it a mission to be as honest of a salesman I could be, even taking risks to ensure that cars were properly maintained and checked before selling them to the customer. There was a singular instance when the manager made me sell a car with a broken axle, a large metal gash on the driver and rear passenger side door, and an inside that looked like a small child had exploded into molecular chunks all over the cloth upholstery. I took steps to ensure that the car was adequately repaired and safe to drive, even taking a major cut in pay to ensure the customer was taken care of, despite the protestations of my manager, because I thought, the world could use a few more honest salesmen, and I, your dear humble narrator, wanted to be one of the good guys.
All the while, I saw around me the excess of capitalism - drugs, sex, and unscrupulous manipulation of lesser minds who couldn’t grasp the concept of someone shaking your hand with a soulless grin in one while snatching your pocketbook with another. I’d hear stories of how people would come to them, on hands and knees thanking them for their “honest” dealings and getting them such a good deal only to hear the minute they walked out the doors and drove away, “I ripped the bastard off fourteen grand” on a car that will just be repossessed to the dealership and sold again three months later - their credit, to kindly put it, was “shit.”
Tumblr media
This is the horror of middle class America - the American horror story of our common man taking advantage of the one thing all Americans need in order to function on a daily basis in our great experimental American democracy… the singular need for a car.
When I eventually quit that job and moved back home to family and started work in the Menagerie, I happened to reconnect with an old friend who invited me out for a night of tomfoolery and shenanigans. Through the cigarette smoke and clatter of beer bottles over the cacophony of deadbeat local musicians strumming away at the three power chords they could remember, I heard my ol’ chum utter the four words I wanted to hear all evening, “wanna watch American Psycho?”
My heart skipped a beat, I swooned at the thought of leaving that noisy place to hear the soft dulcet intro of Patrick Bateman’s morning routine. So, we paid our tabs, left a considerable tip for our hosts, and careened our wagons over to his humble abode to bask in the humming electronic glow of the 2000 masterpiece starring Christian Bale.
Tumblr media
As the soft piano played and the black screen fades into the luxurious dinner scene with yuppies and their ilk feasting away at food too good for their mediocre tastes, I noted one consistency throughout my viewing - the wide mouth grin creeping into an ever present toothy smile on my face. I glanced over to my ol’ chum. He too bore the same simple smirk creeping ever so carefully into the same wide, toothy smile.
Throughout, we laughed, we pointed like Leo at the tv, chuckled and shook our heads when Patrick insults the hobo, and both audibly groaned and physically frowned when he curb stopped the dog in the alleyway. Killing the hobo wasn’t enough, you see, for the audience to know Patrick truly isn’t a very nice person. He had to kill the dog as well, the death of the innocent mammal completely severing him from the emotional ties connecting the audience to their up til then absurd protagonist. From there we hate him. From that point on, we hope he gets caught. That’s the clever and tragic comedic element of American Psycho. Patrick never gets caught.
I love this movie. To quote Michael Keaton, I’ve seen it “167 times and it keeps getting funnier every single time I see it!”
Tumblr media
Why though?
Tumblr media
For me, it’s the sardonic mix of my personal life experiences dealing with a mentally ill wife, a corrupt self important manager, the excess of capitalism oozing from the pores of sycophantic detached salesmen, and my own dips into psychological restlessness while coping through my own personal episodes of grief and self loathing. Patrick’s confession to his lawyer at the end remains one of my favorite monologues simply because I’ve been on both ends of that infamous phone call as both Patrick and his the lawyer.
I think the true comedy of American Psycho comes from the tragic experiences of my life as well as those I’ve inflicted on others on purpose or inadvertently. In truth, we are all a little bit of Bateman due to our own human flaws and wanton desires. We hurt those we love or think we love. We tend to go with the sure thing, much like Patrick and his many lovers and restless sexual escapades. To deny it is to deny the truth that we are all American Psychos, we just don’t go around hacking up hookers with chainsaws and making obscene doodles in our planner for Chloe Savigny to find - arguably though, neither did Bateman.
Tumblr media
Was his life so boring that he had to concoct an entire false reality to keep him from going over the edge? Is it an escapist fantasy where the daily stressors of his meticulous image, the mundanity of those around him, and the maddening aggravation of daily routines led him to conceive an alternate place where his deepest, darkest wants could be fulfilled and explored?
In any case, I and others around me acknowledge the disturbing elements of American Psycho. Patrick is not someone to be admired. He’s a terrible person, and his problems are of his own creation. I don’t write this to minimize the wretchedness of this person, but rather to pontificate on the very real absurdities we as Americans face on a day to day basis. What Patrick experiences, albeit in the upper echelon of American society, still reeks of the daily grind so many of us face - a detached significant other (Bateman and his fiancé), the stress of maintaining class images/the need for acceptance (Bateman and his peers), the need for self importance (Bateman constantly trying and getting refused for a reservation at Dorsia only to hear the taunting laughter of the maitre de on the other line), and the want to express oneself in some meaningful way (Bateman’s long and ultimately pointless diatribes on music to his prostitute companions)… don’t these all relate to us in some way?
Tumblr media
Overall, it’s a movie that sticks with me long after I’ve watched it. It’s one of my favorites that I pull out any time I need a good laugh or want to watch something that makes me think about myself, the world, and my place in it. This essay is simply a love letter to the film and all the happy memories I have watching with friends and loved ones, all of us sharing in the laughs, disturbing commentary, and ultimate critique on our American collective experience.
I rate this movie with an arbitrary score of 10 out of a single Willem Dafoe lighthouse monologue on repeat for forty hours.
Alas, our time in the Menagerie has come to a close. Until next time, dear readers. I hope all is well in your world, for if it is so, then it is as well in mine.
Your Humble Narrator,
J. P. Pancho

the "having the new car" part is very cool I will admit. even the dumb phone app that's subscription based but they give you 1 year complementary to hook you ig
it's the everything else you still gotta deal with after buying the car that is sulking for me lmao, like, so much happened and I kind of just had to trust that I wasn't signing stupid shit. And also I gotta check the paper copies they gave me and see if I was supposed to receive some additional documents thru email or if they already gave it to me. and then figure out the online account for the financing (though I may need to wait for the letter in the mail...?). and decide if I try to pay it off right away or keep it open for a bit, like how much of an impact on my credit score would it be to open it and then close it right away (sidebar: it's such bullshit that paying off a loan lowers your credit score because "you closed an account." if anything that should IMPROVE your score. How is paying min payments on time proof you can meet payments but paying off early not proof you can repay loans. fake-ass garbo). and still figure out insurance lmao... though hopefully my parents will help me w that like they said they would (I got a quote for a solo policy lmao and mother was like, that's too much, it's less to add it to the existing plan (tho I'd have to add one of them to the title for that, and I'd have to pay off the loan before I can do that or else they'd have to get added to the loan too)).
and THEN I gotta give the guy a good review bc he offered me the car for msrp no markup lmao, which my mother still thinks is too high but okay mother things right now are So Very Different from when you last bought a car in 2014, supply had been way down due to supply chain redirects and the used car market is hot though cooling down, and apparently dealerships are pivoting their strategies and aren't filling lots with cars that they then have to lower prices on to move (literally was on the radio today, so by the time it's hit the news it's already well underway to being done that way). I think the car I looked at, it was the only one in the area in that color actually lol, and the TrueCar price was like, maybe $50 under MSRP, and like at that rate I didn't feel like I had leverage to bargain the price unless I played hard to get lmao, but I'd have to have gone in with that attitude which I didn't.
#adulting cw#sort of a ramble/vent post ig#goodness is this shit. overwhelming lmaob#I think I do have some newfound sympathy for the clients I deal with in my job#like it's familiar to me but not necessarily for them and there's so much going on and @_@#tho unlike my clients who know they paid us to take care of their shit for them lol I'm like. @_@ I hope the#dealership isn't screwing me over somehow out of their self interest lmao#I mean it did seem like I got it for MSRP and then fucking. fees and taxes brought it up another $3k lmao. so it went from $30.9k to $34.5k#and then I added on vsc for $2k and GAP for $900#lmao my mother was like. hm $37k way too high. I would have brought it to $33k or $34k#and it's like... well tbh if I didn't do the vsc or GAP then it would be that#woman you can't compare buying conditions from the 90s or 2000s or like your latest exp from 2014 to now#like just think of the massive changes in society due to smartphones and socmed and internet proliferation#let alone pandemmy splashdown effects#I mean I would have been thrilled if I could have gotten the price down another couple thou#but the only other truecar listing I found was one listed 85 days ago for $5k more lmao#the tc listing for the other dealership near here (not this color) was like same price#and also. the guy just offered msrp right off the bat lol I didn't even have to fight for it#I wasn't gonna fight over a truecar estimate of $48 less lmao#and truly the other dealership tc estimate did include the markup. and it was in the toady green m#lmfao my mother was like 'hrm for almost $40k you could get a better car...' mom regardless of sticker price you'd still have + fees :')#anyway. whatever. I think maybe the only leverage was if I said well I could also go the used route. which I was considering lol. but they#only had silver. and like I feel like a white crossover looks 'classy' but silver looks... naked lmao#okay tbh I didn't mind the orange. it was kinda cool. I just didn't know about driving it long term#and also anyway they only had orange for the PHEV#but yeah the orange had this kind of shimmer to it so it was kind of like fire-colored
