#i ordered a used book off of ebay and it came with an envelope of coupon cards telling me i can get a percentage off of online food service #orders... it came with my book. off ebay.#today i opened google docs and got a pop up congratulating me for being one of the lucky ones picked for trying out their new AI software #on my walks around my neighborhood there are several houses that Scream at me saying 'hi you are being recorded' there are houses with #three of them that all desperately scream over each other because im just fucking walking trying to enjoy what little nature i can get #i feel like i'm being fucking hunted down for sport by the horrors of technology #like are you fucking with me #they keep making up new ways to invade any peace of mind i can get

I’m unfortunately in a writing rut at the moment, but I’m trying to work through it to at least deliver something for you guys to feast on. I’m slowly chipping away at the Hide and Seek fic and it’s about halfway done, but I’m simultaneously working on another Seb oneshot I thought of since I actually have some inspiration for it (it’s not on the WIP list)

At this point I’d write about Queen Elizabeth if it meant I could get back into the groove of things— I’m so sorry for the wait though ! I swear it’s not for lack of trying 💀

I saw a post about working for a haunted house and for some reason it reminded me of when I used to work for an escape room place, and then because I only have one thought anymore, now I am thinking about crowley and aziraphale doing an escape room and how extremely bad they would be at it

crowley squinting at the fireplace like 'this is fake. it definitely comes open. I'm gonna pull on it.' and aziraphale like 'my dear boy they told us nothing in the room required brute strength' but he tried to use the wrong key on the gun safe and broke it off in the lock and had to discreetly miracle it back together. also he's professionally offended at how little the book safe looks like a real book.

#good omens #I am putting them in the murder mystery dinner party room at my old work entirely because the fireplace fake door was cool #also you COULD open it with brute strength if you wanted #it was held closed with an electromagnet #and there was a button that turned off the magnet #but if you pulled hard enough on the mantle you COULD just open it #I actually could literally put them in those specific escape rooms #because I wrote up guides for how to reset all the rooms there #because it relied on training alone and other people weren't as good at remembering as me #and anyway the guides are still in my google docs #so I could use the literal exact solutions to these four specific escape rooms #if I reverse engineer them from my old descriptions of how to reset them #stuff and nonsense

deciding that i hate google docs organizational system and while it doesn't actually hinder my writing, it DOES annoy the ever loving shit out of me bc im the type of autistic that makes me want to obsessively sort and organize everything nicely

#also i have absolutely no clue if there's an alternative I'd even like better #bc I'd need Organization Abilities and it not be expensive and the ability to use it on desktop + mobile #and also the reassurance that if something fucked up i wouldnt lose all of my writing #bc i at least know several ways to get google docs back if things go wrong #so i might just have to suffer thru docs until the end of time #the whole POINT of me wanting to make folders to organize my WIPs was so i could click directly into them when i pull the app up #but NO i need to click at least 3 things to get to the folders on mobile #so might as well just fuckin click the search button thats there when you open and look for specific docs by title #which. again. doesnt hinder my actual writing ability #i just got my hopes up on being able to organize my writing to please the autism and now im frustrated that i cant

DO NOT DO THIS!!!

If a website has a paywall, like New York Times, DO NOT use the ctrl+A shortcut then the ctrl+c shortcut as fast as you can because then you may accidentally copy the entire article before the paywall comes up. And definitely don't do ctrl+v into the next google doc or whatever you open because then you will accidentally paste the entire article into a google doc or something!!!! I repeat DO NOT do this because it is piracy which is absolutely totally wrong!!!
