☼ Asgore still hopes one day Toriel will simply change her mind, isn't as bitter as UT Toriel, but also isn't as proactive

☼ Muffet is mute, but people often mistake her as being deaf, which can be a dangerous mistake to make if a patron decides to be rude in her presence

☼ Both Alphys and Undyne stutter, though Alphys' is more a natural tic while Undyne primarily only stutters when she's stressed out, and it's specifically more the kind where she'll stop halfway through a sentence and start it over

☼ Sans and Alphys were friends before he joined the guard. It's almost funny, given that neither of them actually want to be in the guard...

☼ Alphys and Toriel have a strange relationship, where Alphys was already a teen when she really met Toriel properly. She somewhat idolizes her, and has a crush on her, which is why she's terrified of failing her

☼ Toriel is somewhat aware of how much strain she's put on those working directly under her, and she feels very guilty for it. She tries to make up for it by baking them pies or other sweets and trying to encourage them to take up relaxing hobbies. It doesn't work that well

☼ Papyrus struggles with anxiety a lot, but it's hard to tell most of the time, since he’s found his patterns and habits and has familiarized himself well enough with most to have an easier time dealing with them

☼ Chara mumbles a lot, so others tend to get the impression they're shy when they really aren't usually

☼ Papyrus and Asgore don't bond over jokes like UT Sans and Toriel do. Asgore tells Papyrus his jokes remind him of someone he used to care about very much, they wind up talking more so about day to day things, or other interests, rather than trading jokes

☼ Papyrus still tends towards putting more effort into his jokes than Sans, however he also unfortunately makes really stupid puns by accident all the time, and only realizes whenever Sans hits him with one of Those Looks, which makes Papyrus groan and bury his head in his hands while Sans laughs

☼ Burgerpants remains unchanged except he doesn't work for Napstabot, he works the nice cream stand in Snowdin (and hates it)

The crow had been busy. The forest had more visitors than usual, and as the Heart's right-hand man, he had to keep an eye on all of them. While he was perfectly capable of flying long distances and working long days, this day was longer than most, and he'd been flying for quite a while. Perhaps this was why he smacked into a branch at full force, unable to dodge it, causing him to plummet from the sky with a severe lack of grace. He landed in front of a visitor, though he already knew this one. This visitor had been approved by the Heart, even so, the crow was eager to get away. As he flapped his wings however, a sharp pain caused him to collapse again. Seemed he was more injured than he'd realized.

Artair near jumped out of his skin at the sudden sound of crashing leaves and branches. But when he saw the crow land in a heap of feathers, any caution leaves him in a flurry of concern. The crow returns to its feet after a stunned moment on the ground, and he watches it with wide eyes.

And clearly, the poor guy hit something on the way down or-- several somethings. The wing was injured, bent at an awkward angle and dragging the ground. The barbs of its feathers were bent out of shape as well.

"Oh-- you poor thing." His voice bleeds with worry. "That looked like a bad fall." He tries to keep his voice soothing and low--- he doesn't want to stress the bird more. The whole place buzzes with magic around him, so he can't tell anything from the animal but pain, and he can only imagine trying to handle it would just scare it further, so he keeps his distance. But he doesn't want to leave it like this, either. The crow was injured, and he didn't want something else to come along and make it a meal.

...It was just a small animal. It wouldn't affect him much to use a little magic, right? He couldn't just leave it to suffer. That just wasn't the kind of person he wanted to be.

Artair crouches down, flicking his attention between the still recovering crow and his bag. "Hang on, I know you can't understand me. But I should have something that can help..." His voice trails away as he begins rooting through the satchel.

yeah like there were obviously serious and technical elements to a lot of it but the fact it was so lighthearted and goofy with them two specifically was just really nice to see after so. fucking. long 😭 and them being sillay with other people well we might just be back

Asking for au headcanons your choice on which au!

Au headcanons for !!! A bunch of random ones actually lol

✿ In sweetswap, everything is very pastel and soft looking, for the most part, so after surfacing, monsters are genuinely taken aback and a bit surprised how saturated and dense the colours of the surface are. They thought the books and movies might've been artistically exaggerated...

✿ Ice, Invertedfell Papyrus, doesn't have the soft spot for animals most other Fell Papyri have, but he'd actually be excellent at caring for them, and generally finds them easier to deal with than other monsters lol

✿ Void, of Vesselfell fame /j, wasn't always like that! I don't think I address it very often, but he didn't become a Vessel until around 12 ish. Before then, he was almost just a regular Fell Papyrus.

✿ Sylv, Underswap Undyne, focuses a lot more on biological sciences as the Royal Scientist. She's nearly more akin to a medical doctor with her knowledge and specialties, while Axel, Alphys, still has an interest in tech. They still met the same way as in Undertale...

✿ I'm not sure if I've talked about it here or not, but I have a Sometimes-Headcanon that after surfacing Underfell Asgore basically goes into a sort of permanent assistance/rehab type place. It's years before anyone visits (after the one time Gerson does shortly after surfacing), the first being Undyne, and then eventually Papyrus a few years later. Someone comes to check in him at least every few years after that. He’s...content, there.

✿ I've always kind of liked the idea of Grillby having hypnotizing magic, though he rarely if ever uses it, and it's not super strong/wears off quickly

✿ Dusk, Horrorfell Papyrus, can't paint like he used to, but he eventually comes to find comfort in doing what he can, mostly using his knuckles and laying a canvas flat on the floor. Sometimes his cats help lol

✿ Patch, Horrortale Sans, prefers milder weather, making Fall his favorite season. He’s not a fan of Halloween, but sometimes he'll nap in a pile of leaves when he’s done (or taking a break from) raking.

✿ Lace, Lovefell Papyrus, likes doing crafts! Of all kinds. Beading, embroidery, crocheting, wood burning (I can't remember what it's called, when you draw in wood by burning it), sewing, you name it! If it can be done by hand, he enjoys doing it <3

✿ Iris, Underswap Toriel, is an incredible singer. She sounds classically trained, and back in the day, people could hear her singing all the time. It's not so common anymore, but every once in a blue moon, she can be heard singing quietly in the throne room.

this is a specific type of family portrait, an al'luimaxa photo, the specialest boy himself plus the father and other children she left behind. Since Levis remarried his new wife and kids get to be included since they are the same family but they get obvious supporting roles.

usually the al'luimaxa naturally will be the smallest, innately being the youngest and all. however hydrel was already like six feet tall at this point. They made him sit down when he was 15. The boxes they're standing on should get a TH profile because they're saving my ass here.

eldest child holds the sigil, this doesnt mean much beyond its just a religious thing and all.

this wasnt a great time or particular day. Bellan had been crying so much and between that and having to wear the Special Robe for the Special Boy and getting his photo taken and being told how to pose and hold himself prefect. Levis put his hand on him to help keep him calm. It didnt help. He doesn't like being touched. You know that dad.
