just watched all the way through john fuhnaffs recent theory and like godd he really is cooking he truly is onto something but like. the idea that Cassies dad did all of thos important stuff and is connected to the mimic and built mxes and did all this shit is like. what do Gregory and vanessa even have to do with anything anymore at this point

#like when ruin came out everybody thought they built mxes to lock away the thing that abused them and that was #their way of fighting back after they were free so they could secure that they can live normal lives #and it made perfect sense #and also was narratively satisfying #but now this technician guy did it all and gregory and vanessa just went down there and trapped it with concrete and thats it #like. can they do anything plz #its just so weird #why dont they want them to do important stuff #they wont even let vanny do anything anymore its just a guy wearing vannys face #i know that the hw2 candy cadet stories and the ggy hints are trying to tell us hey. we havent forgotten about them #but also im just. not thrilled about 3 entire releases building up the mimic and cassies dad and it taking at that point #at LEAST over 3 years to get anything with a chance of gregory and vanessa #like when sb came out in 2021 and got into it believe it or not i kinda expected the characters in it that were main characters to idk #be in the story and do stuff #its just annoying #theyll come back someday but the way theyve handled things where itll take probably 3.5 years at least to give them the time of day is just #urgh #anyway john fuhnaff is a great theorist i love him #he has such real takes hes so chill about everything too #and the way he said 'im totally open to that happening' about sotm and tftp being copy paste 💀💀💀#so true man #discourse

#Marvel #Marvel comics #Marvel 616 #Moon Knight vol. 9 #Moon Knight 2021 #Moon Knight comics #latest release #Moon Knight #Marc Spector #Khonshu #I always appreciate Mr. Cappuccio but I particularly appreciate how he was able to portray the complex emotion in that second to last panel #because gooooosh can’t believe I get to use this tag again #Khonshu encounter me in the trench #the man is dying and doing his best to save the city and Khonshu still manages to make it about him #because while we don’t get much in the way of Marc’s internal dialogue I feel like we can infer based on other issues in this run #that this time around Marc’s not doing this for Khonshu #there have been many times in Marc’s life where he’s sought Khonshu’s blessing or approval or notice or what have you #- I’m thinking (as much as I usually don’t like to) about the opening issues of the Huston run -#but this ain’t one of those times (it just happens to protect travelers of the night so Khonshu can claim it is all)#but yeah it’s the last panel for me #that dubious honor of having Khonshu be proud of him and the complex relationship that he and the whole system has with Khonshu #even though Khonshu has habitually tried to colonize his psyche and used him as a disposable pawn #there’s just something in Moon Knight comics pertaining to complex intra- and interpersonal relationships #with one’s own spirituality and sense of self and organized religion and fathers and distant gods #that I just cannot bring myself to shut up about (…unfortunately for the Moon Knight tumblr tag and as you may have figured #based on the metaphorical ink I’ve spilled on this blog)

#i think it’s time i go back to therapy #i keep having recurring nightmares about my ex best friend #or dreams where she reaches out to me. and explains why she cut me out #backstory. in high school had a lesbian toxic situationship with my #bestie. THEN i had another one. which kinda overlapped? the first one was open but also just messy #anyways. jade and i were like together for a year. then she got a boyfriend one day and i had a breakdown #it happened just after high school and i was sooooo … unwell. wasn’t out to my family felt like i was gonna die etc etc #(this is all pre dnp btw) anyways next year i found dnp. a couple months later she broke up with her bf #and we sorted dated for a while (this whole time we’d been just friends and i was still not really over it but hiding it)#and then she dated ANOTHER guy. they broke up and she had a breakdown and moved 9 hours away. i went #to visit her for a month. we like kinda dated again then and i thought we could make it work. then 2020. no travel #so she started dating a guy. didn’t tell me. even though we spoke every day. she moved in with him #then she breaks up with him mid 2021. i started dating my gf. but Jade was clingy and it was awkward #she started dating a sketchy guy who was homophobic. i went and visited her a few times #start of 2023 she tells me she wants to make more of an effort cause he didn’t like her friends so she cut everyone out. then she ghosted #in feb 2023. we had tickets for #mcr in march. i had to text her cause she’d blocked me on messenger and said im going to the concert whether she’s there or not #she said ‘yeah no worries! you can take someone else in my place too 😎’ she used that fucking emoji #and I haven’t spoken to her since. I think she quit her job . and that guy was not a nice man #so I still worry about her #writing this all down makes me realise she was a bitch and I deserve better #but I just want closure. it isn’t fair she replied so casually to my text when I said ‘you’ve blocked me’#it isn’t fair she HAS MY SIGNED COPY OF DANS BOOK #anyways.
