I've rarely (almost never) questioned my husband's loyalty n we r both gr8ful, certainly. However when I have questioned it, it almost always turns out to be my own shadow finding it's way into the cracks that shine light through and expose things for what they truly are in their raw, sometimes yucky form. I am grateful not have had the connection/loyalty issues I had in previous relationships.I suffer major insecurities and wobbly confidence, low self esteem. A dear heart once told me, to give a hug, was to give of yourself. I always felt that hugs were mutual and that - if anything - I have never got enough to give. I'm always trying to give more. I never feel worthy - really - of the love people give me. I feel like - it's not really for me, it's for them. Good shadow stuff in this post for me, I can tell. Radical s Acceptance invites you to see the situation as it truly is. No more faking. No more farce. No more too much or not enough. Just humans, critters, trying to get by. . . . That being said... Demons are unmet needs. If you are ignoring your own needs, or your partner's needs, and you are just content to go on being miserable - those needs will meet themselves - even unconsciously or subconsciously. Allow yourself to see yourself truly, so that you may redirect your energy, reclaim your autonomy, and release your subjectivity to the benign and mundane. That - is not the point and never had been.
