Inktober 52 - Week 24 - ‘Puppet’

Here is SkekGra  and urGoh from ‘The dark crystal: age of resistance’ having some fun with a variety of puppets. The characters are far more detailed but I simplified them for the sake of this image.

The dragon and pink worm puppet are based on ones I found in charity shops in the past and now adorn my desk.  I’m a terrible puppeteer by the by.

I’ve named this guy Mistopholies.

And this one is called ‘Ray’. 83

Sketches today of my skeksona (formal post about them here) and now I’ve got their urRu half and my gelflingsona!

The mystic, urRoh the Scavenger, goes about their day collecting feathers, stones, and other things for the urRu to use.

The Grottan, Murl, loves finding mosses and minerals to make pigments and dyes. They paint as a hobby, aided by glasses with lenses that flip up when not in use.

I just saw your post of your Skeksisona, and I love them. But seeing this has lead me to wonder, what would your mystic look like?? If it doesn't cause any trouble, I will love to see your design 😁😁

urRoh the Scavenger. They like to collect feathers and things for the other mystics to use. They don’t look anything too fancy, just their most important accessory is the nest tied to their head. Kind of like a symbolic counterpart to skekTark’s captured bird creature. (and also I can just see urRoh thinking a nest a nice hat, but because of their head shape, would have to wear it unconventionally)
