love ur work babe!! 💖
just wondering if you’d consider my steve x reader prompt? basically it’s just steve going to surprise mc while she’s at university and her gleefully introducing him to her school friends. but then once they find out about where steve works they get kinda elitist. like say they’re getting dinner and he excuses himself to the bathroom and overhears them saying mc could do better and has such a loser boyfriend. cue steve being depressed and tryna “better” himself to prove worthy of mc. ofc, she finally finds out what happened and instantly comforts him 🥺🥺
thanks for the request, my love! i'm sorry it took so long (i made this extra long to make up for it!). we've got some sweetness, a little angst, and more sweetness! | 2.2k, fem!reader
"I'm so tired but I think I did well on all of them," you say to Steve over the phone. "Although philosophy was really hard." You've just finished your first round of college exams and are sat on your dorm bed, the phone chord twirling around your finger.
"Obviously you did, babe. You're the one with the brain in this relationship," he says, his voice deep and smooth across the miles. Little do you know, Steve's already forming a plan in his mind. He wants to drive up to buy you dinner and give you a kiss and be home before midnight so you don't get in trouble.
"Steve," you scold him. "Don't say that. I don't even know if this is for me yet! I could be back in Hawkins tomorrow."
"Yeah, well," he ignores you. He knows you have big dreams and he's all for you chasing them. "Are you gonna celebrate at all? Got any friends to go out with?"
"Some girls from my study group asked me to go to dinner. But honestly, Steve, I wish you were here and we could just watch a movie or something." Your voice goes soft as you admit it to him. "Miss you."
"Miss you too, pretty girl." He sighs, but his mind is going a mile a minute. No way he's not gonna see you as soon as he can when you say sweet shit like that. "Take a nap or something, and maybe call me tomorrow?"
"Okay. Can we plan a visit soon?" You're hedging a little, because you know Steve, and you can almost hear him thinking through the phone.
"Name the day. I'll be there! Love you," he says.
Just a few minutes later Steve sits in the front seat of his car, fingers drumming on the steering wheel as he flips through the atlas in his lap. He's buzzing a little at the thought of seeing you in just a few hours, hoping that he can make it up to your campus before dinner. It's just a few hundred miles away, and he hasn't seen you since he dropped you off like, over a month ago. His overnight bag is in the backseat just in case, but even just a few minutes would be enough for him.
"I'm so pathetic," he mutters to himself and tosses the atlas aside, route figured out, though he's smiling. "Christ." He pulls out of his driveway and heads north.
The drive is smooth and Steve rolls into campus early evening, having hit no traffic. He remembers where your dorm is and parks around the corner. As it happens, you're sitting on a bench in front of the building, pretty as anything. His chest swells just looking at you, and as if you sense him, you look up. The smile on your face is well worth the few hours he's driven.
"Steve?" you call. It's not a total surprise -- there was something in his voice on the phone that made you almost ask him to come up right away. You jump up from the bench and he jogs down the path to you. It feels like you're in a movie as you throw your arms around his neck and he picks you up and spins you in circle.
"Surprise," he mumbles into your hair, taking a deep inhale of you. You smell like generic detergent and perfume, but it's familiar underneath both of those. You smell like you. Steve wonders if he can ask for one of your shirts to bring back with him.
"Let me look at you, baby," you say to him, giddy. He sets you down and you drink him in, head to toe. Hair a mess, brown eyes warm and excited, face a little flushed. Pretty, as Steve always manages to be. His blue jacket and those jeans that make his ass look incredible. He's your boyfriend and he's here.
"College looks good on you, damn!" he laughs. "Your head is totally bigger from all the studying." You roll your eyes at him but tilt your face up for a kiss. He meets you halfway, bringing a hand to your jaw to deepen it without making it unfit for the public space you're in. You've missed this, dreamed about it.
"Thanks for coming, Stevie," you whisper into the space between you when he pulls away. He pecks you one more time before snaking his hand down your arm to string your fingers together.
"Anytime, baby, like I said. Can I crash your dinner ? I'll be sure to turn on the charm." You nod, eager to introduce him to the girls in your study group. You try not to talk about Steve too much, but you've got a picture of you two in your wallet and some up on your walls.
"I'm waiting for them now, they'll be here any minute! But, Steve, I don't know them very well, so I'm not sure if I want to be friends with them--"
"Hey!" comes a voice from behind you. You turn around and see the girls walking up. You send Steve a tentative smile and he squeezes your hand before flicking his hair back and smiling wide.
"Ladies!" he calls. "Room for one more in your plans?" They look at each other then back at the two of you and smile.
"This is Steve, my boyfriend," you say. He surges forward to shake their hands as they introduce themselves.
"We've heard a little bit about you," the one called Laura says. "How sweet of you to come over!"
"Are you at school nearby? I hope you didn't have to come far," says the other. Her name is Maureen, she tells him
"Ah, no," he shrugs, still smiling. "I live in Hawkins, where we're from. I just drove up to surprise my girl." The pair look at each other again, having a brief silent conversation that makes your brows furrow and Steve stand up a bit straighter, but he figures it's nothing to worry about. He's just happy to see you.
The four of you walk a few blocks to a corner restaurant and slide into a wooden booth. Steve's thigh presses tight against yours, like he wants to take every opportunity to be close to you while he can. He listens to the three of you chatter about your exams, the next unit in class, and you all order some sodas and sandwiches. When they arrive, the conversation shifts to him. Your hand comes down to rest on his knee.
"So, Steve," says Laura. "Tell us about you."
"Oh, yeah, well, I live in Hawkins," he says, casually. "College isn't really for me, so I work at a store in town." He can feel you looking at him, feel your thumb running back and forth over his jeans on his leg. Suddenly this feels like a job interview.
"That's interesting," says Maureen. "Do you have any...future plans? Goals? Stuff like that?" You turn to look at her when she says it, not sure what she's getting at. Steve works hard, and he's built a community around him that you can't wait to return to after you figure your life out a little bit.
"Well, I'm saving up for an apartment. Can't live at home forever," he laughs. You're proud of him for that -- getting out of his parent's sphere is something he needs.
"Oh!" The girls smile at him before turning back to you to talk about something school related. Steve feels kind of strange, like he's missing something that's right in front of him. He picks at his sandwich, not hungry anymore, before getting up to go to the bathroom.
As soon as he's gone, Maureen and Laura pounce on you.
"You could really do better, honey," Laura whispers. "He's nice, and he's cute, but he's not like us."
"There are so many guys here with ambition! College boys who could show you the world!" Maureen adds, picking at her nails. "You don't have to stick with Mr. High School forever."
You're quiet for a second, but you're seething with anger. Part of you thinks they're trying to be friendly, but most of you is mad that they look at Steve and see something lacking. You knew you'd meet some snobs in school -- Nancy had warned you about that -- but this was something else. They're coming after Steve, the best person you know.
"I love him," you say quietly. "And he loves me." They look like they want to argue with you but Steve returns to the table. He doesn't sit as close to you and you notice immediately, sending him a confused look he ignores.
"Well, ladies," he smiles, something false and strained in your eyes, "I got the bill already, so we're free to go." Maureen and Laura thank him politely before you spill out of the restaurant onto the street, the early fall evening having faded into dusk.
"We're going to go for a walk, guys. See you later!" you tell the girls before spiriting Steve away from them without another word of goodbye. You steer him up the sidewalk towards an ice cream place, looping your arm through his. His false smile is gone and he's quiet. What changed to rob him of his good mood?
"Stevie, hey," you murmur. "You okay?" He sighs. His head is a mess, but he doesn't want to make you upset.
"Yeah. I... just hear me out for a sec, okay?" He stops you walking and turns, taking back his arm to tuck his hands in his pockets. "I know this place is bigger than anything I've done. And you're doing big things, and you might outgrow me --"
"Woah," you interrupt him. "I'm gonna stop you right there." Then it clicks -- what the girls said to you at dinner. "Is this about what those girls said to me? Did you hear that?" You can't help but let your volume rise. You're not yelling at him, but the idea that those girls made him feel like he had to say these things to you makes your blood boil again.
"I did, but listen," he sighs, rocking back on his heels. "I love you. So much, I love you so much. But damn, that hurt. And I just want to make sure you know I get it if that's what you decide you want. A college guy." He looks so sad, but he's trying to hide it. You surge forward, hands framing his face as you look at him desperately, hungrily.
"Stevie, baby. Sweetheart, you are what I want. You are what's best for me." You're almost shouting, and his eyes widen at the intensity of your tone, hands leaving his pockets to grab your wrists gently. He doesn't like feeling this way, like he's something that can be brushed aside, and you've never made him feel this way. But those girls got under his skin.
"Just made me feel small, I guess. Like I should be better for you. I mean, I work at Family Video." The words feel funny as he says them, like he's never believed them to be something bad before. Your thumbs swipe over his cheeks. The way you're looking at him makes him want to melt.
"You don't have to be worthy of other people, Steve. There is no need to prove yourself, no need to make yourself better to be loved. And I love you. I love you so much." You'd spend the rest of your days telling him so. In fact, you want to.
"I know," he says, quietly. "I know. You've told me all that." He sighs, turning his head to kiss one of your palms. "Love you, college girl. Even if you drop out." He's smirking, but you know he's serious. At least he's joking and looking less like a kicked puppy.
"If I keep striking out and trying to befriend snobby people like them, I just might!" you exclaim. "They're wrong about you, Steve. They don't know a thing about you. They don't know how brave you are, how kind, how caring, how wonderful." His face flushes at your words, so you pivot to stop embarrassing him. "They did say how cute you were, though."
"Damn, I'd hope so!" he laughs. "I'm very cute. Got great pickup lines too."
"Even so, I'm not going to be friends with those girls. They are too snotty for me. They don't know the world outside of this campus!" You're getting even more worked up now, but Steve can't stop thinking how pretty you look, flushed and incensed on his behalf. How he believes everything you've said to him.
"You gotta find the nerds, or something. See if they have a D&D club. I'll get Munson to loan you some shit." He has no idea what he's talking about but you nod along like it's a good idea, already distracted.
"Do you want to sleep in my dorm? I can sneak you in and my roommate is away this weekend." You can't imagine sending him home after this night. You want to hold him. Steve leans in to kiss you, hands moving to cover yours on his face. You try to pour everything you're feeling into him.
"I'll leave real early so you don't get in trouble," he says against your lips. "Won't snore too loud, promise."

It’s 2014 and 4*Town disbanded years ago. Only Robaire and Tae Young are still actively making music, while the rest have happily faded into their retirement.
It’s literally out of nowhere, on a Tuesday of all days, at 2:46 in the afternoon, when Aaron Z comes out.
Tyler is sitting in his car in a Five Guys parking lot, already dealing with the quandary of having more fries than he knows what to do with, when he reads the hot topic of the week. The article has been up for less than an hour.
Once he’s read every word, he slowly sets his phone down in his lap and stares out his windshield, dazed. One text buzzes. Then another. And another. But he’s too distracted to acknowledge it.
After what’s either an hour or ten minutes of gazing blankly into space, he calmly folds his arms over the steering wheel, presses his face against them and cries. He doesn’t cry for long, he doesn’t need to. Just a good two minutes to get it out of his system.
Obviously he’s not gonna be a complete sobbing wreck over this. Why would he be? He’s barely thought about 4*Town since his teens. Usually when the band is mentioned these days, it’s an inside joke, an affectionately cradled memory of cheesiness, shared between himself and four of the most batshit women he’s ever met.
But joke or no joke, this hits.
He takes a deep breath, then draws it out to steady himself. He sits upright and scrubs the dampness from his cheeks. All he needed was that moment. He’s fine now.
His phone is still attempting to catch his attention. (Buzz, buzz, buzz) so he fishes it out from between his legs, already half knowing what to expect.
It’s unmistakable. That is the relentless symphony of group chat fuckery. And judging from the recent news and the excitement of multiple texting thumbs, he’s pretty sure he knows which group chat.
A broad grin splits his face when the opening text that erupts in rapid conversation is ‘TYLER’
Times change, people change, memories shift and deteriorate. Sometimes it takes a little trigger to refresh the past. But some stuff sticks like Hell. And there is no memory more adhesive than the celebrity crushes your friends had in middle school.
Aaron Z was his. And he was the first person they thought of when they read the news. His smile is so wide, it’s causing an ache in his cheeks.
He scrolls through a myriad of colorful emojis, with some sentences scattered here and there. Yup, that’s his girls. Completely incoherent unless you’ve had over a decade of experience with them.
They’re screaming among themselves, catching up, sending gifs, all occasionally wondering his whereabouts and if he’s heard yet.
‘Blasting nobody like u as we speak’
‘Nostalgiaaaa’
‘Can we please go out tonite? I miss u guys’
‘Where the FUCK is Tyler’
‘I found the CD Mir gave me forever ago ❤️’
‘❤️❤️❤️’
‘TYLER YOUR HUSBAND’
Once he’s caught up, he decides to make his grand appearance, padding out a comment before one of them bursts a blood vessel.
‘13 yo me knew what was up’
The chat explodes, delighted that he’s showed up to contribute to the discussion.
If you could call this a discussion.
He eases back in his seat, feeling a comfort wash over him that he didn’t realize he was missing minutes prior. He’s got his ass lodged in plenty of group chats, but this is the only one where he never feels an ounce of anxiety.
He allows himself a moment of geeking out about his Z. His girls respond enthusiastically.
Mei makes a typo.
Like any decent friend, he repeats the typo.
‘SHUT UPPPP U ASSHOLE 😡’
‘My hands are bigger than ur head rn’
‘Lmao’
He’s laughing from his gut like he’s still thirteen and giddy with the reality of having friends.
‘Mir pls come eat my five guys fries I have too much’
‘I’m at work Tyler’
‘Why don’t u love me’
‘Tyler’
‘Help him Miriam’
‘HELP HIM MIRIAM’
He’s sitting in that parking lot for over an hour. The conversation settles once Miriam’s break is over, as nobody wants to have any fun without her.
Plans are made. In honor of the occasion, they’re going to karaoke tonight and getting black out drunk. 4*Town hits will be screeched from their lungs on this fine evening and that is a promise.
It’s some sort of miracle really. Hanging out with friends in your twenties is hard. The five of them are rarely ever free at once and it feels wrong to leave any of them out.
Whatever stars aligned to make this possible, he humors himself with imagining Aaron Z had something to do with it. Fate or cosmic luck or whatever.
He presses two fingers to his lips and blows the kiss in no particular direction.
“Still love you, man.”

Pairing: Miya Atsumu X Reader
Rating + Notes: T: mentions of swearing, nausea, vomit but FLUFF
Word Count: 1.3k
Summary: After getting his wisdom teeth removed, the score is: Miya Atsumu: 0, Miya Osamu: 2
Tumblr media
“Remember when ya’ almost threw up in m’ car?” Atsumu asks from the passenger seat, lowering the volume of the music and grinning.
“God, shut up. I thought you promised not to bring that up again,” she huffs, eyes focused on the road.
“Well anyways,” he says sunnily, sticking his hand out the open window, “I won’t need this.” He kicks at the plastic bag she brought for emergencies. “When Samu got his wisdom teeth out a few years back, he was high for like, two hours then jus’ passed out for 10 hours. An’ besides ya’ almost yakking in my car,” he looks at her over his sunglasses, “ya’ also just slept. So, this is gonna be easy breezy,” he sing songs, kicking his feet up on the dash.
“Yeah, yeah,” she says, “you’re already such a handful, you better be well behaved.”
Waiting in the lobby together, Atsumu absentmindedly thumbs through a gossip magazine and peers over her shoulder at her phone.
“If I act all loopy, will ya’ video me so I can show the team?” resting his chin on her shoulder.
“You better not, I have to drive us back. And besides,” she says, turning her head towards him, “thought you said this’ll be easy breezy?”
Atsumu throws a cocky grin and rests his hands behind his head, sprawling in his seat. “Yeah, yer right babe.”
Getting called in from the lobby, Atsumu stands up. He hands her his phone and throws her a wink. She rolls her eyes but shouts after him.
“Good luck!”
.
After forty minutes, Atsumu is escorted back into the lobby with two dental assistants next to him.
“He’s pretty lucid after the surgery, so you’re free to take him home,” the one in green scrubs says. “Here’s a pamphlet on what he can and can’t do, eat, and drink and here’s gauze,” he finishes, handing the items to her.
“How’re you holding up, Miya-san?” the assistant in blue scrubs asks.
Atsumu has a dazed expression on his face, lids half dropping—almost reminiscent of his twin. Looking between the two assistants holding his shoulders, his eyes finally registered who was in front of him.
“Oi, yer real pretty,” he drawls, head tilting to one side.
Trying not to let the heat rise to her face, she turns her head ignoring the amused glances from the dental assistants.
“We’ll help him to your car,” one of them says.
Thankfully, Atsumu was compliant and walks relatively steadily to the passenger’s side. Strapping him in the assistants reminds her to call if any problems arise. Thanking them one last time she gets into her seat for the journey home.
“Hey,” she says softly, getting Atsumu’s attention, “how do you feel?”
He was resting the crown of his head on the head rest, chin jutting up towards the roof. Turning his head, he looks down at her with a bleary expression.
“’M fine, tol’ ya’ easy breezy,” he replies with a mouthful of gauze. “Lets g’ home an’ sleep,” drawing out the last word with a whine.
Chuckling, she puts the car in drive and heads home.
.
Turns out, Atsumu wasn’t the one who needed luck. She did. Twenty minutes into the ride, Atsumu taps into some drug induced energy. Writhing in his seat, trying to take out the gauze in his mouth, and repeatedly screaming that the doctors had stolen his tongue, she is at her wits end.
On the car ride to the appointment Atsumu had been going on about how since he and Samu had the same genes, it was only natural that he had the same subdued reaction to the anesthesia.
She questioned how true that was when his wisdom teeth didn’t grow until recent, years after Samu, to which he replied, “’M no geneticist, babe.”
Twenty minutes into the car ride with ten minutes to go, she whips her phone out at a red light and hits Video Call. Hearing, rather than seeing Osamu’s confused state, she shoves the phone in Atsumu’s hands, similar to an exasperated mother with a small child.
“Osamu. He’s a mess, do something about it,” she bites out, hitting the gas at the green light.
At her words Atsumu lets out an indignant screech and through the gauze he mutters, “Pretty ladies shouldn’t be so mean to the injured.”
“What am I supposed ta’ do with the idiot,” Osamu complains from the phone.
“I don’t know make him stop moving!”
From the corner of her eye she sees her boyfriend hunch over her phone and hold it extremely close to his face.
Squinting, he asks, “Why’re ya’ so ugly?”
A string of explicative comes pouring out her phone and Atsumu cackles, toppling over towards the middle console.
Clenching the wheel with two hands and taking a deep grounding breath, she repeats to herself like a mantra, five more minutes.
.
Finally pulling into the parking garage of their apartment complex, she was ready to pour herself a large glass of wine.
Atsumu and Osamu were still yelling, throwing playground insults about the other’s looks. She figures Atsumu’s claims about being the smarter twin has to be a lie and briefly rests her forehead on the steering wheel, summoning the strength to get her boyfriend to their apartment.
Unbuckling her seatbelt, she catches Atsumu frowning and fixating out the window, ignoring Osamu. She leans over to unbuckle his belt and jumps in her seat when his shoulders and neck lurch forward. She lunges for the plastic bag and holds it under his mouth swearing.
“’Tsumu do you think you’re gonna puke or can you make it to the apartment?” she asks, praying it was just a bout of nausea.
“Yeah ‘mfine, ‘mfi—”
She lets out a screech as he throws up into the grocery bag and clamps down on her own gag reflex. After a minute, Atsumu throws his head back into the head rest and looks at her with spit dripping down the side of his lip.
“The gauze left me.”
“Yes,” she responds gingerly, tying the bag carefully. “I see that.”
Leaving the car as fast as possible to throw the bag away, she catches Osamu howling through the phone.
“Ya’ absolute scrub,” he chokes out between heaving breaths.
.
Hours later after rinsing out Atsumu’s mouth, shoving gauze back in without getting her fingers bitten, and forcing him in bed, he blearily comes out of the bedroom into the living room.
Nursing a glass of wine and watching some reality program she peers at him over the rim.
“Well,” she asks, “are you done?”
Stepping carefully towards her, he sits next to her with his hands in his lap.
Cheeks swollen he mutters, “’M sorry.”
She hums and swirls her stem. She’s not angry, but seeing Atsumu puffy and shy is filling her with an unbridled amount of glee. Leaning her head on his shoulder and noticing how he melts into her, he presses a kiss into her hair.
“Thank ya’ for takin’ care of me,” he whispers.
Before she can respond, their phones vibrate. Both getting a message from Osamu, they share a concerned glance before tapping at the message.
It’s a shaky video of Atsumu. The angle is low and unflattering and Atsumu’s staring out into the distance until he gags and a plastic bag obscures his face from view.
Atsumu stares at his phone in disbelief as text bubbles pops up.
From Osamu: HAHA u ugly SCRUB
From Osamu: sent this to ur whole team too better give your girl some apology flowers LOSER
Groaning, Atsumu buries his head into her lap as she laughs. Shoulder shaking, she cards a hand through his hair.
“I’ll get ya’ yer favorite,” he mumbles.
Leaning towards his head, she kisses his temple and scratches his scalp. Her lips ghost the shell of his ear and she whispers, “Pick up dinner too.”

                                     *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
With no clouds in the sky, the sun was able to shine bright, a lovely change to Small Heath’s usual dark, depressing weather. It was still cold, due to the biting wind that had arrived due to it being so close to Winter. But no one was complaining about this today, it made a lovely change, even the most miserable person could put on a small smile, for just a second.
For the Shelby’s however, it was ironic. With Arthur in the driver’s seat of the car, Tommy beside him and Finn stuck in the back, they all had solemn faces. The youngest Shelby stared down at the bouquet of flowers in his lap, both hands cradling it. They were a mix of white and various pink colours, the stems were trimmed and any thorns or leaves had been cut off. He couldn’t take his eyes away from them, they were the brightest thing he had seen around him for a long time, but he wasn’t sure whether that was ironic or mocking.
Arthur pulled up and braked, gripping onto the steering wheel as Tommy instantly got out. Finn hesitated before following, glancing back at his older brother who couldn’t seem to move.
“Arthur.” Tommy gently said, not having closed the door yet.“Come on.”
“Yeah.” Arthur mumbled, still staring straight ahead.“I’m...I’m coming.”
With everyone out of the car, they clutched onto their coats as the cold hit them, though still taking long strides into the graveyard; it was big and open, stretching across a large field with rich, green grass, and a variation of headstones scattered across it. They made a beeline to the ones they were looking for, having done this walk many times.
Arthur always dreaded the walk, the initial feeling of being there. It made him sick. To think someone from his family was in here, and no longer with them, it was an incredibly hard thing to get over. Finn couldn’t help but feel upset every time, almost on the verge of tears. He was always the one to carry the flowers, it had just become some sort of tradition. So it wasn’t surprising to see Tommy’s blank expression whenever they visited. Of course he had sobbed and wailed as he mourned over the death, but the lack of expressing his emotions made him easily hide how he really felt. And he knew that if he let it all out, his brother’s would become concerned, no one would have control.
“Well, here we are again.” Arthur said.
Finn laid the flowers against the headstone, seeing the names before running his fingers along the engraving.“Here you are.”
“The girls were here a few days ago, hope they spoke to you as well. I’m sure they did, probably complaining about the likes of me.” Tommy coughed after speaking.
“Let’s be honest, they’re complaining about all of us.” Arthur tried to lighten the mood, though his smile held sadness.
A chuckle came from Finn.“Pol would always rant to me about (Y/N) and John, when I was still living with her. She would tell me everything they got up to as children, especially if I had done something similar and she was telling me off.”
“They were a pair of rascals.” Arthur added.“Never did anything without each other. And you could always tell when they were plotting something, there was just something in the air.”
“Remember when they stole the Christmas turkey? We were just kids then.” Tommy managed to smile.
“Fuck me, that was a long time ago. They thought it would be funny to take the turkey before it had been cooked, poor Pol had been slaving away in the kitchen all day. When she realised, all hell broke loose! Turns out, they had put it in next door’s chicken coop! Oh, remember their first night out? Their proper night out?”
“Even I remember that! I was only five, but the sight of them stumbling into the house was funny to me.” Finn exclaimed.
“You don’t know the half of it.” Tommy started.“We took them out, knowing they would be a mess the entire night. Your sister danced with any boy that glanced her way, jumping on top of tables and the bars. John was exactly the same, I’m sure he almost got two girls pregnant in one night. But John being John, he had to get into a fight at some point. Except (Y/N) also joined. As soon as she heard her brother yelling, she was right beside him. That confused those lads, especially when she started throwing punches just as hard as John.”
“No, but you know what was one of the best memories? Us finding them out of school, when they were trying to break into their teacher’s car.”
Finn’s eyes widened.“Why did they do that?!”
“Apparently a teacher disrespected our name, but to be fair, he was a bastard. They always complained about him when they returned home, so one day they decided to do something about it. They sneaked out of the school, found his car and used a wrench and a screwdriver to break into it. It wasn’t spontaneous because they brought the tools. We caught them in the act, obviously furious because this was proving the man’s point.”
“So you just left it?”
“Oh no, we smashed up his car. It was his fault for parking it in such a rough area. There had been loads of reports about vandalism.”
Finn laughed, making his older brothers smile. Their attention went back onto the headstones as they calmed down, a slight sadness returning to the atmosphere.
Tommy sighed.“I’m sorry, we can’t stay for long. Got business to attend to, business that you would want to attend.”
Arthur clamped a hand down on Finn’s shoulder.“But we’re going to show the little one the ropes. Hopefully he’ll be just as good as you were.”
“I hate when we leave early. I could stay here for hours.” Finn said.
“I know, Finn. But Arthur’s got a point. We need to get you out there. Come on, before we start stalling.”
They all said goodbye to the stone, never feeling odd for speaking to it. It was a coping mechanism, almost a place to vent, to feel connected. Tommy lead again, Arthur catching up beside him to start talking about their plan. Finn looked over his shoulder, seeing that the flowers were no longer resting up against the stone. Rushing back, he propped them back up, kissing his hand before placing it to the headstones.
“I miss you both.”
Slowly standing, he read their names, and the dates, hating how his heart sank. He was broken from the trance when Arthur called his name, running after them. But those etchings never left his head, the saddest thing he thought he would ever see.

Leap of Faith Part 4: Klaus x Reader
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
*Thank you to @misskittysmagicportal for reading my draft
Warnings: Danger? Excitement? LOL
___________________________________________
You hit the gas hard then eased up once you realized that no one was following. You opened the window to stick out your arm, catching the air with your open hand. Now twenty or so miles down the road, you were still tingling with the excitement of your recent crime.
Klaus lit a cigarette, took a drag, then handed it to you.“You hungry?,” he asked.
“Famished. What are you thinking? Pancakes? French Toast?”
Klaus had just opened his mouth to speak when an eager, smiling face popped up from the back seat.
“How about waffles? Prophet loves waffles.”
“Jesus Christ!,” you screamed and swerved, barely managing to pull over onto the shoulder without rolling into the ditch. Klaus let out an impressive scream of his own and looked like he was going to have a heart attack.
“Penny,” he gasped.
“Yes, Prophet?” She stared back wide eyed. Her long strawberry blond hair was a mass of tangles and her smile revealed some crooked teeth, but she was young, about twenty or so and pretty.
“Is she, part of the uh...?
“Yeah.”
“How long have you been back there?”
“I saw you hitch hiking. Tried to catch up, but then I saw you get in this car and I just kept walking in the same direction. ‘Ventually I saw the car in the parking lot of that restaurant motel and well, it was raining pretty hard. Door was unlocked so I hopped in and fell asleep under this blanket...” her words faded as something out the window caught her eye.
“Ooh, look. Wildflowers!,” she giggled with her nose pressed against the window.
“Yeah, um...Penny, why don’t you pick us some wildflowers while ‘the Prophet’ and I have a little chat.”
“Far out!” Penny bounced out of the car and frolicked through the tall grasses  on the side of the road.
“Klaus? Who is this she?” Did you...um? your brow arched with insinuation.
“God, no! Nothing like that! This girl is like a bad Penny, always showing up at the wrong time. Like when the IRS came to investigate us for tax fraud. Then when Shirley McLaine was thinking about joining...”
“Shirley McLaine is a follower?”
“No, not after Penny showed up and started talking!”
Penny bumped up against the passenger window presenting a fistful of jagged green stems with a few white and yellow buds on top. Klaus plastered on a big fake smile and give her an exaggerated double thumbs up. Seemingly encouraged, she turned back to collect some more.
“Well what are we going to do about her?,” you asked, watching her twirl around with her head tilted skyward. You paused looking at each other. “We can’t just leave her here.”
“Obviously not!”
“And you’re gonna tell her the truth,” you added just as Penny climbed back into the car with her bounty. You were about to drive away when you felt a tickle of invisible barbs stabbing your eyes and nose, causing them both to drip almost immediately.
“Oh my god.”
“What’s wrong?”
“Ah..ah...shoooo! Is that ragweed?,” you asked with your head in your hands.
“I don’t know. What do you think?,” she shoved the plants into the front seat.
“Ah shoo! ...Ah shoo!”
“Penny, get that shit outa here!”
“Yes Prophet,” she said, happily flinging them out the window.
You wiped your nose with your handkerchief and put yourself back together the best you could. Then as you started back on the road you nudged Klaus and motioned back to Penny.
“Penny,” he started. “You know I am a fraud, right?”
“Yes, of course. You told us. I am also a fraud.” She bowed her head reverently.
“I mean I’m not a Prophet...I lied.”
“Well, a lie is just the truth wearin’ a hat.”
“Is that one of mine?”
“No, it’s one of mine. You inspire me, Prophet.” She tilted her head with a doe eyed expression.
You shot Klaus a look of disapproval, but he just looked back with a shrug as if to say ‘I tried.’
“Penny, honey, do you have any family you can stay with?,” you asked, softly addressing her reflection in the rear view mirror. But before she could answer you noticed the cop car tailing you. Your heart started racing. “There’s a cop behind us.”
Klaus turned around.  “What are you doing?  Floor it!” Your foot hit the gas. Penny squealed with delight. The cop turned on his sirens and gave chase. The speedometer went from sixty to seventy to eighty RPMs. The car became difficult to control.  Penny was laughing hysterically and Klaus was practically hanging out the window. All you could focus on was the road in front of you and the cop on your tail. You missed the road signs warning of a detour up ahead.
Your field of vision shifted dramatically.  Your first thought was that something had happened to the windshield.  Then you glanced down and saw nothing but the road rushing by beneath the car. Your hands, your legs, the steering wheel, Klaus and Penny - all gone. You could hear them, feel your hands gripping the wheel, and your ass against the seat, but as far as your eyes were concerned they ceased to exist.
The invisible front bumper smashed into orange cones, wooden signs, and caution tape. You screamed and slammed on the brakes as you barreled through a construction zone that ended in a sharp fifty foot drop. The tires finally skidded to a stop, momentum hurling you forward then slamming you back against the seat.

HI JEANNE I AM SO GLAD UR DOING PROMPTS!!! can i prompt general #24 for quinntina with some kuinn friendship maybe pls???? 🥺🥺💞💗💞💗💞💗💞💗
hi rae thanks for prompting!!! <333
General 24 “I haven’t seen (her/him/them) smile in months.”
this got longggg 2796 ish words 👀 (i edited it after pasting into tumblr tho so idk exactly :P) i think this is the longest thing i’ve posted?? i hope it doesn’t suck <3
(also small mention of homophobic parent(s) (mostly quinn’s mom) and just not great parenting... also blood and death mention warning (but like just in conversation?))
i’m like weirdly nervous about this one sdlhgkjf *screams and hits post*
--
“What’s wrong with Tina?”
Kurt gives Quinn a sideways look, fixing his hair in the mirror on his locker. “Tina Cohen Chang? Why are you asking about her?”
Quinn shrugs, trying to play innocent and nonchalant. “I haven’t seen her smile in months.” Because since the beginning of the year, Tina always smiled at her as she walked into their first class and the only one they share, but now she doesn’t, if she even comes to class on time at all.
Kurt looks at her knowingly and Quinn pushes his arm lightly. “Shut up,” she grumbles. “I’m serious.”
“I’ve noticed it, too,” Kurt says after a moment, following Quinn’s gaze to Tina arriving at her locker. They watch as she hurriedly puts some books in her bag and quickly walks off again, head down and giving a wide berth to everyone she passes.
“Yeah, and that,” Quinn says, “it’s like she’s… scared or something.” She looks at Kurt whose jaw has tightened. Quinn squeezes his arm lightly and he smiles a little at her.
“I can ask Mercedes,” he says reluctantly as he shuts his locker and they start walking down the hall. “She’d know more than me, but… yeah, I don’t think she’s even been in glee lately.”
Quinn’s barely paying attention and almost runs into another student before Kurt pulls her out of the way. “You know, it’s a little creepy that you noticed this at all,” he teases, a glimmer in his eye, and Quinn elbows him and follows him into their next class.
-
Mercedes doesn’t give them any new information, and then Quinn -- Quinn wants to forget about it, but she can’t. She keeps stealing glances at Tina in the halls, during class, at lunch. She knows Kurt’s right, that it is a little creepy, but…
They’ve been around each other’s circles since the beginning of high school, and a friendly wave from Tina one morning was the only thing keeping Quinn feeling normal when the least normal thing possible had happened to her the night before. She didn’t have Kurt yet, she barely had any friends because of her work to uphold her status as the ice-cold head Cheerio. Tina was kind to her when she was spiraling after her world had turned upside down and no one was around to support her, to turn it back around.
So she just wants to know if Tina’s okay. Because of that. No other reason.
-
Quinn gets her chance a week later.
She doesn’t expect to see Tina today -- she isn’t in English and hadn’t been for a few days. Quinn tries to ignore her growing concern; after all, she still doesn’t actually know anything about Tina’s life.
When Mrs. Harrison splits them off into groups of two for a new project, Quinn is last to pick her partner and everyone else has already paired off.
“Tina’s absent today, I’ll work with her,” Quinn says airily, playing with the end of her ponytail and tapping her pencil on the desk. She acts like she doesn’t care (why would Quinn Fabray have any reaction to getting paired with a relative social nobody for a project?) but part of her is… looking forward to it. Not only because of her persisting concern about what’s going on with Tina, but also because she does genuinely want to spend time with her. So maybe this is her chance.
She tells Kurt about it at his locker between classes and he rolls his eyes and smiles fondly at her.
It’s the end of the day when Quinn realizes she doesn’t actually have Tina’s number to contact her; it’s too late to ask Kurt or Cedes, she stayed after school to retake a math test and she’s the only one here, as far as she knows.
Except she’s not. There’s another car in the student lot. Quinn glances at it and stops when she realizes someone is sitting in the driver’s seat -- Tina. Before she can talk herself out of it, Quinn walks over and taps on her window.
Maybe she should’ve talked herself out of it, she thinks as Tina jumps and seems to steel herself before rolling down her window. Quinn smiles a little, apologetically. A wave of warm air comes from inside the car, like Tina’s been blasting the heat even in the relatively warm spring weather.
“Um, hey,” Quinn says awkwardly. “So… you weren’t in English today, but we’re doing a project and you and I are partners.” Her voice goes up at the end as if it’s a question. She’s really doubting this now. Tina looks like she’s sick and she’s gripping the steering wheel and not meeting Quinn’s eyes. “Or…” Quinn clears her throat slightly, putting her head Cheerio, most popular girl in school mask back on. “It’s fine if you don’t. Just tell Mrs. Harrison. I’ll do it myself.”
“No,” Tina says, looking up at her finally, and Quinn thinks there’s something different about her eye color. Her smile is tight and forced. “Sounds good.”
Quinn raises an eyebrow. “You sure? Doesn’t sound like it sounds good.”
Tina clenches her jaw. “Yeah, it’s good, sorry, I’m just tired,” she says in one breath. “Here, I’ll, um -- ” She fumbles with her phone and offers it to Quinn. “Put your number in, I’ll text you.”
Quinn’s fingers brush Tina’s when she takes the phone and she almost jumps at how cold her skin is, despite the warmth emanating from the car. Even Kurt, who runs cold, isn’t nearly this cold to Quinn’s own unnaturally warm body temperature…. Her concern grows and she watches Tina for another moment, who’s closed her eyes and leaned back in her seat.
“Are you… okay?” Quinn asks hesitantly.
“I’m fine.”
“Forgive me for saying this? But you… don’t look fine.”
Tina gives her a sideways look. “Yeah, well.” She closes her eyes again.
Quinn enters her number but doesn’t give Tina’s phone back when she’s done. “Hey, seriously, I -- what’s wrong?”
Tina just exhales defeatedly. “I can’t tell you.”
“Try me.”
She shakes her head.
“Your skin is fucking freezing, you have the heat on high in the car in almost 70-degree weather, you look different and not in a good way. I know -- I know we don’t talk much, Tina, but please, let me help you.” Quinn even surprises herself with the last part. It’s far from the hard facade she hides behind at school in her Cheerios uniform, even though she’s still wearing that right now.
Tina stays still and silent and Quinn fidgets with her phone.
“I really don’t know what to do here,” Tina says softly, opening her eyes, glancing at Quinn again then back away. “I literally… have no. Fucking. Clue.” It sounds like she’s talking to herself more than anything and Quinn isn’t sure how to respond.
“Well, I… whatever I can do -- ”
“Have you ever had something… absolutely, absolutely insane happen to you? Like… you would never believe it yourself but it happened to you and you have to fucking deal with it so you have to believe it.” Tina’s breaths come more quickly as she continues, her fists curling tighter around the steering wheel. “And I don’t know how to fucking deal with it, but I fucking have to because -- because I have to and I’m this thing now -- ”
“Hey, Tina, hey, breathe,” Quinn says hurriedly, trying to put a hand on her shoulder but the angle from outside the car window is awkward and she doesn’t know if it would be appreciated. Her mind spins with those words -- you have to believe it, I’m this thing now -- and it’s scarily similar to Quinn’s own thoughts when she first… turned, over three years ago.
But Tina can’t be a werewolf too, her skin… Quinn thinks. Thankfully Tina’s breathing has mostly gone back to normal and she just looks exhausted again, her forehead resting on the steering wheel and hands loose in her lap now. What the fuck. What the fuck am I about to do.
Despite all her instincts and rationale screaming at her not to do it, Quinn says shakily, “I think I get it,” and when Tina turns to look at her, she inhales and says in a whisper, so quiet she’s not sure if Tina can hear, “I’m a werewolf.”
Tina stares and Quinn starts thinking and thinking about how she can take it back, it was a joke, there’s obviously no such thing as werewolves, what the fuck was she saying, what was she thinking revealing this to a near stranger --
“I think… I think I’m technically a vampire.”
Oh. Quinn stares back at her.
Some of the tension seems to have gone out of Tina’s body. There’s another silence. “Can I trust you?” Tina asks quietly.
“What -- ? I mean, yeah…” Quinn swallows. “Yes, you can. Of course. I think if there’s one person you could trust with this, it’s me.”
Please trust me.
“Thank you,” Tina whispers, like she just has no energy to speak louder. “I just can’t think right now, I think I need… like, fucking blood, probably, I don’t know…” She looks down at her hands hopelessly. “I think I might be dying.” She laughs humorlessly. “Again, I guess.”
Quinn thinks for a moment, taking in the almost metallic pallor of Tina’s skin and the difference in her irises that she noticed earlier. “How long have you… been a vampire?”
Is this the answer to what she’s been wondering about?
“A few months, I guess.” (There it is… Quinn wonders if anyone might have noticed something different in her for the months after her first night as a wolf.) “There was another vampire -- nicer than the one who bit me -- ” her voice goes hard and tight on bit -- “who gave me some blood for a while. But I don’t know where they are now. They said they never stayed in one place for a long time. So I guess I’m starving to death. I don’t know.”
“Can’t you, like, get blood… somewhere?”
“I can barely stand talking to you right now, to be honest,” Tina says. “I don’t think I could go near other people right now.”
Right. Quinn curses her complete lack of knowledge on vampires besides that from popular media, which probably doesn’t apply very well to this situation. This feels absolutely ridiculous, though she’s been through weirder herself… still. Her first full moon was a disaster and she doesn’t know how to deal with this either. But…
“I might be able to help,” she says, standing up straighter and finally handing Tina’s phone back to her. Tina pauses before taking it, as if she forgot about it; Quinn has, too, for the most part. The project is definitely not a priority now. “I know absolutely nothing about vampires,” Quinn continues, “but I have my own needs as a werewolf. I know a place -- it’s where I hunt. Animals.”
Tina seems to wince at the words. Quinn vaguely remembers hearing about how Tina doesn’t eat meat, for the most part. She could probably avoid thinking about it when someone else was getting her blood, but this will be direct. This will be a change.
Quinn presses on. “You need blood. Everything in history about vampires says that -- they can’t all be wrong. Please let me help you.”
“Okay,” Tina says weakly, nodding a little. “Give me the address, or whatever -- ”
“I’m driving you. In this car. And staying with you.” Quinn doesn’t back down as Tina’s eyes snap to hers, and her mouth opens to protest. “Seriously. I’m helping you with this. And you’ll crash the car if you drive yourself.”
Her head falls back against the headrest. “You’re lucky I’m exhausted and dying, Fabray,” she grumbles. She gets out and goes around the front of the car into the passenger seat, and Quinn slides into the driver’s seat, putting her bag in the back. She instinctively reaches to turn down the heat, but remembers Tina’s freezing skin.
“You can turn it down,” Tina says. “I don’t even feel cold. I just wanted my skin to feel normal to other people, which clearly wasn’t working.” Quinn gives her a glance to make sure, but Tina is just leaned against the window, body slumped and tired.
She turns it down just a little.
Then remembering something else Tina said earlier, Quinn asks warily, “Are you okay with me in the car right now? I know you said earlier you could barely stand it…”
Tina shrugs. “I mean, I have to be, don’t I?” Quinn doesn’t answer, and Tina looks over at her and chuckles a little. “Don’t worry, Fabray, I won’t kill you and drain your blood. Although it does sound… appetizing right now.”
“Haven’t you read Twilight? My blood tastes awful to vampires,” Quinn jokes, trying to lighten the mood as she pulls the car out of the school parking lot.
“Is that really a thing?”
Quinn laughs lightly. “I think so, I don’t know. But that is something I’m thinking about when it comes to vampires, so I must’ve heard it somewhere.”
Tina hums. “I never read or watched Twilight. My parents wouldn’t let me; my mom said she thought Kristen Stewart seemed like a bitch.” She lets out a short laugh. “The irony.”
“Do your parents know?”
“No. Yours?”
“No.” It’s honestly too easy for Quinn to hide it from her mom and her mom’s boyfriend. They’re never home and when they are, they leave Quinn alone, which is fine by her, especially on full moons or random weird days when she needs to leave. She does whatever the fuck she wants; they don’t question it. She supposes there are worse ways to live, especially while being a werewolf.
“How am I supposed to tell them?” Tina asks, looking out the window. “I thought I’d have to worry about telling them I thought Kristen Stewart was hot, not that I had basically become her -- or, her character.”
“Well, you could lead with the first thing? Maybe that’ll make it a little easier to accept. Or you could lead with the second, and while they’re freaking out about that, just drop in that you like girls.”
“Ha ha.”
“It’s good advice, I just might follow it myself,” Quinn jokes.
“…You like girls?” Tina asks. “Or -- you don’t have to answer that, sorry -- ”
Quinn glances at her. “Yeah.”
“Cool. Let me know how it goes, if you do follow that advice,” Tina teases lightly.
Quinn laughs harshly at the mere thought of coming out to her mom. She might’ve been able to come around about her teenage pregnancy, but Quinn doesn’t miss the tone her voice takes on when she asks about Kurt or when Quinn mentions him, when Quinn’s watching something on TV or reading a book, when she sees something in the news.
“Well I’m not coming out anytime soon.”
“That’s fine,” Tina says, her voice soft and tired but sincere.
“Kurt’s the only other person who knows, though, so… yeah, you know… trust thing.”
“Of course. Thanks for telling me.”
And Quinn does trust Tina, with this, with the werewolf thing… she’s wondering how Tina managed to win her trust so quickly... and friendship.
Hopefully, Tina trusts her enough for what they’re about to do.
“We’re here,” Quinn says, pulling into a dirt area surrounded by woods. She puts the car in park and hears Tina take a deep breath. She looks nervous and Quinn doesn’t need to imagine to have an idea of what’s going through her head right now. She takes one of her freezing hands in her own, holds it between them. “Tina. I’ll be here for you, okay? I’ll help you. Are you ready?”
“Absolutely not. Do you know anything about vampires hunting?”
“Is it so different from turning into a wolf and hunting?” Quinn jokes, then asks seriously, “Do you need a minute?”
“No.” Tina removes her hand to open the door and Quinn misses the contact, the… warmth, even from her cold skin.
When she gets out of the car and comes up next to her, Tina shoots her a grateful smile -- small, but genuine. Something Quinn hasn’t seen in months. She’s missed it.
(Shit, Kurt was right, she thinks, and if this is any indication, she won’t ever get tired of that smile.)
“Thank you, Quinn, for helping me with this.”
“Of course.”
Quinn’s hand suddenly finds itself in Tina’s again, and she can feel Tina’s hand shaking a little. Quinn gives her a small, reassuring squeeze. “Let’s go.”

My Morphine
Summary: You are driving home from work one day in a rainstorm and lose control of your car. The world goes dark and when you open your eyes again you are greeted with a beautiful sight in front of you.
Word Count:
Request: “can u do a doctor! shawn fic? ur amazing bye ❤️”
Warnings: Mentions of blood, broken bones and car crashes as well as medical procedures.
Tumblr media
Your car jerks, wheels gliding along the thin layer of water between your car and the road. You hated driving in rainstorms as you always had the fear of hydroplaning, yet here you were doing just that. You knew there wasn’t much you could do in this situation. You knew the only thing could do when hydroplaning was take your foot off the gas, keep your steering wheel as straight as possible, and try to slow down without using your brakes. Unfortunately for you, you were currently at the top of a hill driving down, so this only made your car pick up speed. At the bottom of the hill was a three-way intersection.
You were only a few blocks from home, a small apartment that you just recently moved into. As your car approached the intersection at the bottom of the hill, you decided that it was best if you just coasted through it; so you did. As you reached the intersection, there was a young woman crossing the street who happened to be in the course of your car. Your eyes widened, you were going to hit the poor girl if you didn’t do something. You let your instincts take over as you slammed on your brakes, steering away from the woman.
Big mistake.
You almost immediately lost control of your car as it swerved towards a lamp post, the momentum from the turn almost causing your car to flip. There’s a loud crunching, something hits you in the back of the head, and glass shatters as you are jarred to a very sudden stop. The world is spinning around you, your vision is blurred, your head hurts but it’s nothing compared to the pain shooting through your leg. You glance down to see blood all over your jeans.
“Are you okay?” The woman called, though her voice was practically drowned out by a loud ringing in your ears.
You open up your mouth to respond when you hear a loud, bloodcurdling scream. You looked around to try to figure out where the noise was coming from, but it was only then that you realized that the scream was coming from your own mouth.
“It’ll be okay, I’m going to call an ambulance!” The woman yelled over your screams.
You feel hot, wet tears falling from your eyes as you let the pain and frustration get to you. There’s a bittersweet smell filling the air around you, suddenly you can’t breathe. It was a suffocating, sickeningly sweet smell. You knew that smell. It was Brad fluid leaking from your car. Your heart begins to race, you’re terrified that this was the end. This was how you die, in a flipped car, asphyxiated on chemical fumes and bleeding out. You pass out, the smell and the pain from your leg overwhelming you.
When you’re pulled into consciousness again, it’s when you hear the sound of the sirens bouncing off the walls of the large brick building in the ambulance bay of the hospital. You practically force your eyes open slightly as the doors to the ambulance open. The flashing lights from the ambulance hurt your barely open eyes and you shut them, wishing they would stop.
Once you had finally managed to block out the noise of the sirens, you could hear a voice. By the way he was speaking, you could safely assume he was a paramedic.
“Jane Doe, looks to be around her 20’s. She lost control of her car and crashed into a traffic light.” He reported.
“What’s her stats like?” A different voice spoke. This had to be a doctor, you could tell by the way he had taken control of the situation.
“Her bpm is 78 over 80, she’s been in and out of consciousness, and there’s uneven breath sounds on the left side.” The paramedic answered.
“Thank you. Page ortho!” The man called.
That’s when you saw him. The person who the voice belonged to. He was beautiful, like a Greek god.
“Let’s get her to trauma one!”
He was a tall young man with loose, brown curly hair. His face was gorgeous, sharp jawline, brown eyes, huge, yet concerned, smile. He was like a walking cliche of a hot doctor on a medical show. He has on black scrubs with a long sleeve white shirt rolled up to his elbows underneath. There is a stethoscope around his neck and a pen poking out of his pocket that was located on his peck. He doesn’t look any older then twenty five, which was only a few years older then yourself. You quickly realized you were staring, but you just couldn’t bring yourself to look away. He was like the real life version of Dr. McDreamy!
“Hey there, I’m Doctor Mendes.” Said the man with the god-like complexion. It was only then that you realized that you were no longer outside the hospital, instead you were inside a room. There were multiple doctors moving about the room, but your eyes only followed one. “You’re at New Eden Medical Center, we’re going to take care of you sweetheart.” Doctor Mendes spoke once again.
You felt your heart flutter in your chest as he spoke, he called you sweetheart. You opened your mouth, gathering every bit of strength you could muster and spoke. “Y/n.. L- L/n.”
“What’s happening? Her heart rate just shot through the roof!” A different man said.
“I can’t stop this bleeding, she’s losing a lot of blood.”
“We need to get her to surgery, stat!”
The room around you seemed fuzzy, it got darker every second. You fought to keep your eyes open as a loud, annoying buzzing sound was in your ear, almost like a heart flatlining. You didn’t want to see the beautiful man leave, but evidently, you gave in to the darkness.
When you returned to consciousness, you were greeted by a bright light, along with the sound of a loud, steady beeping, almost like an alarm clock.
Your eyes were heavy, and you struggled to keep them open, you didn’t know where you were. This wasn’t your house, this wasn’t your bed. Where the hell were you?!
You began to panic, looking around the room. There was a small tv in the corner, a chair next to the bed you were in. You quickly came to the conclusion that it was a hospital room. Your eyes shot towards the door as you heard footsteps approach.
“Hey there- you gave me quite a scare.”
You recognized the man immediately, your heart thudding in your chest as you looked at him. As a result, the beeping from the heart monitor you had been hooked up to quickened.
“Woah, woah. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you Y/n.” The Doctor McDreamy remake walked over to you and rested his hand on your shoulder.
“Holy shit.. you’re really hot.” You said before you had a chance to think about it.
He chuckled. “I see the meds haven’t worn off yet.” He smiled. “It’s good to see that you’re able to speak.”
“Why wouldn’t I be able to?” You asked.
“Well, we had to preform CPR, so I’d imagine your chest is sore.”
You stayed quiet for a second. He wasn’t wrong, your chest did hurt a bit, but that seemed to be the only thing you could really feel. “What happened to me?”
“You got into a crash. You’ve broken your femur, and a few of your ribs. You also have a minor concussion, but that’s all, other than your cuts and bruises.” Dr. Mendes told you.
You nodded, processing everything he had told you. It was a lot to take in.
“Do you have anyone we can call?” He asked.
You shook your head. “No.. I’m alone.”
What you said was true; you were alone. As a child you spent your life in foster homes, waiting for the day when someone would finally adopt you; but it never came. You had moved just over a week ago to this town, and you knew no one. You were alone.
Dr. Mendes frowned, nodding slightly as he sat on the edge of your bed, gently resting his hand on your shoulder.
“I’m sorry to hear that. But I want you to know that you’re not alone. You have me.”
You let out a hollow laugh, tears filling your eyes. “I don’t even know you.” You whispered, letting the silent tears roll down your cheeks.
“I’m Shawn Mendes. I’m one of the best surgeons here at New Eden Medical Center.” Shawn told you. “Now, you may not know me well, but you know me.” He smiled reassuringly.
“I just want to go home.” You cried softly, shaking your head as you looked down.
“Hey, hey, listen to me.” Shawn spoke softly, his hand sat gently under your chin as he tilted your head up to look at him. “I know you want to go home.” He soothed. “We just need to keep you here for a few more days for surveillance, then I’ll take you home myself.” He promised.
“Isn’t that against some sort of doctor code or something..?” You sniffled.
Shawn chuckled, cupping your face in his large, calloused hands as he wiped away your tears with his thumbs.
“It is, yes. But you said yourself, you have no one, or rather, you had no one. Now you have me.”
“But what about your jo-..”
“I’ll have to transfer off your case, but I’ll be in here every second I can be. Okay?” Shawn seemed to know what you were going to say before you even finished.
“Okay..” You nodded slightly, relaxing in the man’s arms.
“Now, you should get some rest. You need it.” Shawn smiled as he slowly pulling his hands away from your face.
“Will you be here when I wake up?” You asked worriedly, not wanting to be alone again.
“Of course.”
That’s all the confirmation you needed, you smiled as you shut your eyes, sighing softly as you relaxed in the bed. “Thank you, Shawn.” You whispered.
“Of course. It’s my job.”
That was the last thing you heard before you drifted off to sleep.

The Party
You knew you should have stayed home tonight. Your boyfriend, Jae, had gotten a call from one of his old college friends to play at some stupid party which would be full of people he went to college with. Now, the party in general hadn't bothered you. You didn't care that after Day6 had performed a few songs, some of his old friends had immediately whisked him away to talk and catch up. You did care, however, when you had walked by them and heard them talking some nonsense to him about how the man should always be in control of the relationship. Their words had apparently gotten to him because when he was done talking to them, he had walked back over to you and the rest of his band with newfound confidence.
This is where the brattiness began.
He would slap and grab your ass whenever he could as if he owned it and you had heard him talking to the same group of friends, telling them about how he made you beg and scream in the bedroom, which you both knew was far from the truth. You had kept your composure through all of this knowing when you got home that night, he would get the punishment of his life. You finally snapped when you saw Jae on the dance floor grinding on some random group of girls.
You could only see red as you stormed over to him and pulled him away from them, hearing a few complaints on both ends that you chose to ignore as you dragged him to the car. You knew that Brian and Sungjin had brought their own cars so one of them could drive Wonpil home, as he had driven with you and your boyfriend to the party. You had chosen to ignore Jae's complaints as you continued to drive to your shared apartment in silence with a grip on the steering wheel that made your knuckles turn white. You only started paying attention when he had gotten quiet, as if he was thinking about something. You thought you couldn't be any angrier than you were, but boy were you wrong.
"Are you jealous, babygirl?" Jae had asked with a smirk as he leaned over to whisper the words in your ear with a seductive voice and a hand placed on your inner thigh. You were glad no cars were behind you when you saw the red light up ahead and slammed on the brakes, jerking Jae forward and making him move his hands to the dashboard to stop himself from hitting his head. You quickly leaned over and harshly gripped his face in one hand, the other still on the wheel as you squeezed his cheeks and forced him to look at you. He gulped as he saw the anger in your eyes.
"I don't care what your friends told you about 'being a man', but as long as I'm here, there is no babygirl and I am not jealous. What would I be jealous of, huh? Those sluts you were grinding on like a little whore? I don't care about them, do you know why baby?" You asked as you pulled his face even closer to yours so you could feel his uneven breathing against your lips. "Because I know, no matter how much you try to deny it, that you are my babyboy, and none of those sluts can make you scream and cry under them like I can. So here's what's going to happen, I'm gonna take you home and fuck that brattiness right out of you. Maybe you'll remember who you belong to when mistress is pounding into you with her cock. Now I want you to sit there and be quiet the rest of the ride, got it?" He didn't respond as you saw the light turn green out of the corner of your eye and let his face go so you could look away from him and continue driving.
You felt accomplished as you made it the rest of the way to the apartment without another complaint from your boyfriend. You slammed him against the wall by the door as soon as you entered. As you were biting and sucking on his neck, he bit down on his lip to keep quiet. You pulled away from his neck to glare at him.
"Stop doing that, you know mistress loves to hear the slutty sounds you make." He visibly shivered at your degrading words, but glared back at you.
"No." His answer made you reach up and grab his hair and pulled him close to your face.
"What did you just say to me?" He bit his lip so hard he almost drew blood at your low demand voice but glared at you again as he stuttered out his answer.
"I-I said, no!" Your hand moved from his hair to his wrist as you dragged him through the medium sized apartment to your shared bedroom, where you threw him on the middle of the bed.
"Strip." You commanded as you turned to your closet to grab your box of toys. As you turned around you saw him still fully clothed with a smirk across his face as he leaned towards you with a defiant look in his eyes.
"Make me." This boy was testing your fucking patience and he knew it. You slowly walked toward the bed and set the box on the bed before straddling Jae's lap. He looked up at you in confusion before you pulled him towards you from the back of his head and started to make out with him. He let out a muffled groan as he placed his hands on your hips. You took off his shirt and he quickly leaned up to kiss you again. He didn't realize that you had moved your hands from his head until he heard the click of handcuffs and looked down at his left wrist to see one side of the handcuffs secured around it. You used his surprise to your advantage to grab his other hand and cuff him to the headboard.
He let out a whine and pulled at the cuffs. While he was throwing his mini tantrum, you reached to your box again and pulled out a silk red ribbon. He turned his head to look at what you had and upon seeing the ribbon started to thrash around even more. You rolled your eyes and tried to hold his head in place so you could tie the ribbon around his eyes. You let out a low growl as he jerked his head away from you with a glare.
"If you don't stop moving you won't cum at all tonight, do you understand me?" At your words he sat still and looked up at you obediently. You smiled and blindfolded him. "See? That wasn't so bad was it?" He grumbled at your words with a frown. You chuckled and got off the bed.
He panicked as he felt your weight shift off the bed but calmed down when he heard you rummaging through your box yet again. He gulped and licked his lips as he heard you chuckle darkly to yourself and set something small on the bedside table.
"W-what are you going to do to me?" He nervously asked as his manly facade cracked for a second. You smirked at his nervousness and ran the tip of your finger lightly up and down his thigh, making him jump.
"That depends, are you gonna stop being a brat and actually listen to me?" You asked him as you set your strap-on down on the bedside table with the lube, cockring, and the vibrating buttplug you had recently bought and hadn't been able to try out yet. He smirked at you, which already gave you your answer.
"You don't own me, therefore I don't need to obey you." You smirked at the yelp he let out as you gripped his dick through his pants.
"That's what I was hoping you would say. So here's what's gonna happen, slut," you said as you took off his pants, "if you want to cum at all tonight," you took off his boxers and leaned up to growl in his ear, "you're going to have to beg for it." A shiver visibly shot down his spine as his cock twitched in your hand.
"I guess we'll be here a while then." He said through gritted teeth as he felt you slide the cockring over his rock hard dick. You smiled at his answer, knowing how easily he would break.
"I guess we will." You grabbed his dick and started to quickly stroke him. His hips bucked into your hand but he bit his lip to keep in his moans, only letting a few low groans slip past his lips. He felt himself getting close as quick pants left his lips and he started bucking his hips up more often. He whined as he tried to cum, the cockring preventing his release. You smirked as you heard the submissive noise he let out.
"Ready to surrender to your mistress yet?" He gritted his teeth as he struggled to answer.
"Fuck. You." You shrugged to yourself before letting go of his cock. He breathed out a sigh of relief before he quickly tensed again as he heard you squirt something onto, he assumed, your fingers. He realized he was wrong as he felt something else start to push at his entrance.
"W-what is that?" You smirked wider at the panic in his voice as you push the buttplug into him. He let out a loud moan before biting his lip at the feeling of something unfamiliar entering him.
"It's mistress's new toy. Relax, I'm sure you'll love it." He was about to ask what you meant until he felt pleasure shoot through his body as the object started vibrating. He couldn't hold in his screams as his back arched off the bed.
"H-holy shit! When did we- AH- when did we get t-this?" You giggled but didn't answer as you grabbed the ring at the end of the plug and pulled it out slightly before ramming it back into him, searching for his prostate. He let out a loud, very high pitched, moan when you finally found it. He started whimpering and whining as he got closer to his release but was unallowed to cum.
"O-Oh f-fuck! Fuck fuck F-fuck! P-" he stopped himself by biting his tongue. You turned the plug off and pulled it out of him, making him whine louder at the feeling of being empty again. He sat up straight when he heard clothes rustling, the realization that you were stripping made him lick his lips in excitement. He cock jumped and he jerked at the handcuffs with loud whines as he understood that he would break soon after he heard buckles and you adjusting your strap-on on your hips. You giggled at his desperation and leaned up to remove his blindfold. He blinked a few times as his eyes adjusted to the lighting and saw you with your lubed up strap-on with only the tip pushed in his tight hole as you looked down at him with a smirk.
"I want you to see your mistress as she pounds into you to remind you where your place is." He was about to snap back through the desperate pants he released but was unable to as he let out a loud, pornographic moan at the feeling of your strap ramming into him and hitting his prostate at full force. You smirked down at his whimpering form as he wiggled his hips, urging you to move.
"I"m giving you one last chance to obey your mistress and stop acting like a little whore." He moaned again with his eyes rolling to the back of his head before he looked up at you.
"Go. To- f-fuck. H-Hell." You faked a pout.
"Fine. Have it your way." You simply said before pulling almost all the way out and ramming back into him. He screamed out whines, whimpers, and moans as you continuously rammed into him as hard and fast as you could. With one last moan, he finally reached his breaking point as you wrapped your hand tightly around his throat.
"O-oh fuck! PLEASE!! Please make me cum mistress! Fuck- I'm sorry for being a stupid whore, just please!" You smirked down at him.
"I don't know baby, are you really sorry? How do I know you won't do it again?" He whimpered with tears falling down his face as he struggled to answer as drool started to seep out the corner of his mouth. You loosened your grip around his neck so he could answer.
"I was being a dumb slut! S-shit- was thinking with my dick instead of my head! Please mistress! I'm s-so fucking sorry!" He sobbed out. You smiled in victory as you reached down and took the cockring off of him, finally letting him cum. He let out loud moans as you continued to ram into him after his orgasm.
"Who's mindless whore are you? Who do you belong to slut?" You growled in his ear, making him arch his back into you and moan louder.
"I-I'm mistress's property! O-oh fuck, fuck! I'm her dumb slut! No one makes me feel as good as mistress does! H-holy shit mistress, 'm gonna cum again!" He whimpered out as he moved his hips to meet yours. You leaned down and kissed and sucked on his neck, making sure to leave marks so everyone could see who he belonged to. He moaned out with tears spilling down his face as he came again, covering his stomach with his milky white seed. You both lay there panting heavily for a few seconds before you pulled out of him.
"Do you think you have enough energy for a shower baby?" You asked Jae as you removed the handcuffs and placed them on the bedside table. He weakly shook his head as you kissed at the red marks around his wrists. You took your strap off as you walked to the bathroom to grab a rag, placing the strap-on in the bathtub. You came back out to see your boyfriend sound asleep. Smiling softly, you clean his stomach. The feeling of the wet rag made him stir in his sleep but not wake up. You threw the rag in the clothes basket before cuddling up to your sleeping boyfriend.
You looked up at his peaceful face with a smile and brushed a stray piece of hair out of the way. He smiled softly in his sleep before wrapping his lanky arms around you and nuzzling his face into your hair while mumbling.
"Mmh... love you…" you chuckled and kissed the junction of his neck.
     "I love you to babyboy."

Tumblr media
"Dean!" You called, looking down the hallways of the bunker in search of your boyfriend who was supposed to be home from his supply run an hour ago. You saw Baby in the parking garage, so you knew he was in here somewhere.
Just as you stepped around the corning into your shared bedroom you found him sitting on the corner of  the bed. Holding a velvet red box in his hand. An impish smirk plastered all over his face, and a sparkle in his piercing green eyes that usually meant trouble.
The only problem is you like the kind of trouble Dean usually brought with him.
"There you are Mr. I was looking for you." You tell him, salturing up to him. Enjoy the fact that he was already licking his lips. Looking at you like you were a snack. Turning his head with a cocky smirk. His tongue planted on the edge of his teeth.
"I haven't left yet, I had something I wanted to give you, then I want you to come with me." Dean handed you the little box in his hands with a shit eating grin plastered to his face now. "Open it."
You took the box from him. Giving him a narrowed eye look. He was way too giddy for this to be a simple 'I just wanted to get you a gift because I love you.' There was an obvious agenda here.
Opening the box you pulled out a pair of little black lace vibrating panties... You couldn't stop the smirk from spreading over your own face. Dean stood and wrapped his arms around  your waist after showing you the controller that he had in his hand.
"Vibrating underwear Dean?" You ask, hardly able to hide the laugh as you held them up to look at them closer. Dean still just stood there watching you, a content little smirk still plastered across his gorgeous face.  Hands still firmly holding onto your waist.
"Dean I agreed to try out some new kinks with you, and I'm all for it babe, but I think they're too big." You tell him with a laugh. You literally watched his eyes grow darker as one of his hands left your waist, and started to undo his belt. The smirk now a full on grin again as he watches you put the puzzle together.
"These aren't really for you sweetheart. They're for me.." His voice was deep and thick, and you couldn't help the bug eyed look you were giving him. You knew Dean was kinky, but you never took him as the wearing girls underwear kinky; much less vibrating ones.
"Your bullshitting me right?" You tell him. Your amusement grew more and more as he kicked off his boot, and slid his boxers and pants down in one go. Taking the panties from your hands, and slipping them on. Placing the vibrater right at the base of his already  half hard member.
You were shockingly surprised at just how much the site of him standing there in lace underwear turned you on.. You were literally drooling over him. It was the single hottest thing you'd ever seen in your life.
Pulling his pants back in place and fixing his belt you would never know that he even had them on. Slipping his boots back on he handed you the controller. You flipped it over in your hand. Looking at it curiously. The urge to push the button is almost overwhelming.
"Come on. Let's go on that supply run." Dean said. Heading toward the door.
"Dean, you're going to take those off until we get home? Right?" You ask him, still slightly in a state of shock.
"Nope. That's the whole idea sweetheart. Let's see how much control I have." He winked at you then made his way to the car.
Smirking uncontrollably you slipped the controller in the pocket of your pullover and hurried after him toward the garage. This was going to be so much fun.
It was only a ten minute ride to town, and you couldn't stop your fingers from running over the smooth little controler in your pocket. Dean turned on the music, and was acting as normal the whole way there. Like he didn't have on a set of female vibrating panties.
You on the other hand. That's all you could think about. You wanted to push the button, but you were so scared to do it while he was driving. So you decided you'd wait until he was safely parked.
As soon as he killed the engine he looked at you, throwing his arm over the back of the seat, and smiled.
"I'm impressed sweetheart. I was almost sure by now you would have pushed that button." He said motioning to your pocket. You looked at him with your eyes narrow and hit the button.
At first he did nothing. Maintaining eye contact with you. After about only 30 seconds you noticed his grip tightened on the back of your seat, and his teeth sank down into his plump lower lips. You pushed the button again turning it off.
"Oh Dean, I just didn't want to do it while you were driving. This is going to be so much fun."
The two of you got out of the car and made your way into the grocery store. Dean grabbed a shopping cart like he always did. Pushing it down the aisle, he headed toward what he thought was the most important thing on the list first. The beer.
The store was full. People walking everywhere. Shopping, minding their own business. No one but you knew what Dean had on, no one would suspect, and you had control. This had to be the hottest thing you have ever done in your life. Dean got to the beer cool and put his hand on the door when you pushed the button agains.
You were impressed. He grabbed his beer and put it in the shopping cart like nothing at all was going on. So you left it on a little longer. Dean reached for the second case and stopped. Biting down hard on his lip. His hand gripping the door handle as he tried to stifle the sounds that were threatening to come out of his mouth. Smirking you turned them off again, and Dean recovered. Grabbing another case and sitting it down. Smiling at you as people were standing all around, and he couldn't really say anything to you about what just happened. You couldn't help but notice just how much he was enjoying this.
You continued your little game all the way through the supply list. Leaving the vibrater going longer and longer each time you'd press the button.
Dean had done everything he could to not let on what was going on in his pants to the people around him. Everything from crossing his legs, to leaning on the shopping cart to hide his face. Even coughing to cover the moan that slipped out of him on the cereal aisle. Earning him a very strange look from elderly woman looking at the cereal next to him. This was the most fun you'd had in years.
By the time you got to the checkout line you could see a light sheen of sweat forming on Dean's forehead as he handed loaded supplies onto the conveyor belt. You pressed the button again. This time you were going to see just how close you could get him.
At first he just chewed on his lips. Not really stopping his progress, then he started to cross his legs, and lean onto the buggy in front of him. His breathing was getting heavy, if you didn't know what was going on you would think he was about to pass out. He gave you a pleading look, but you only smiled at him. The cashier was looking at him worriedly. Just as you knew he was getting close you turned it off  and he visibly sighed in relief.
Getting the groceries into the car Dean settled himself behind the wheel, and ears and neck slightly red. Sweat glistening on his forehead even heavier. As you made your way through the grocery store you counted at least three times that you had brought him right to the edge before turning them off. This time you wanted to see if he could make it the full 10 minute drive home.
Dean's resolve wasn't very high at this point, and there was no hiding the prominent bulge that was in the front of his jeans. You knew he had to be painfully hard.
The thought of it had you crossing your legs as heat pulled into your core.
Pressing the button you watch as he jerks and he lets out a moan. Trying to keep his eyes on the road. His knuckles white as he gripped the steering wheel. His hips moving on their own at this point. Attempting to create the fricktion he needed so badly. In five minutes he was panting and moaning as he tried to maintain control of Baby. His breathing labored. You leaned in close to him, dragging your teeth against the shell of his ear.
"What's wrong Dean, had enough."
His only response was a moan as he pulled Baby onto a side road that led off into the woods a little ways. Hiding her in the bushes.
"I can't take it anymore." Dean said. His voice is deep and rough. Going straight to your core. He ripped his belt open, and jerked his pants and the panties down to his knees, his dripping erection springing free as he grabbed you, waisted. Jerking your leggings and underwear down before pulling you into his lap. You ground your aching core over his length as obscene moans feel from
his lips. Your slick coating his throbbing cock as his tips ran over your swollen clit just right as you ground against him. "What is it Dean? What is it that you want?" You teased him.
Dean had all he could handle, he was at his breaking point. So without a word he reached between you bodies and grabbed his cock. Lining it up with your dripping core and trusting into you harshly with a loud grunt. All thoughts of teasing him flew right out of the window as he filled you, stretching you like only he could.
Slowly at first you started rocking yourself onto him, his head thrown back against the seats. All control gone, all shame gone. Just desperation. The need to come all that he could think about as he thrust himself up into you as you rode him harder and harder. Grinding down on him with each thrust. It wasn't long before the tightening knot in your stomach snaped and you were coming undone in his lap. Falling against him as your walls tightened around him. Throwing him into his own end as his seed coated your walls. The care filled with your moans  as he slowly fucked you both threw it.
When you finally came down from your highs you looked up at Dean, who was smiling down at you.
"That was fun." You said in a huff as you climbed carefully off his lap and dressed as he did the same.
"Yeah. Next time it's your turn to wear them in public." He said with a smirk. "Payback's a bitch."

All Grown Up
Idol: Krystal (f(x))
Prompt: Can you write a short fic where the reader and f(x) Krystal are married and they're having dinner & meeting with their daughters bf or gf for the 1st time ever. Make it a little humorous please. Thank you guys for ur hard work! :)
Writer: Admin Kiwi
A/N: So I decided that the daughter’s name would be Kristy since Krystal likes Christina Aguilera and because it’s a bit of a play on Krystal as well. Hope you all enjoy!
♡ Tip Jar♡
Tumblr media
“This is the place.” You pointed from the car, looking up from the GPS on your phone. At your words, Krystal jerked the steering wheel to slip into a street parking spot, making you gasp. “Babe! Oh my god, be careful!”
“You’re exaggerating,” she said, sending you a smile as she parked and killed the engine. “We’re still alive and well, aren’t we?” This wasn’t unusual, and you groaned, pushing her shoulder.
“I knew I should have drove,” you said, huffing and shaking your head, but all it took was a laugh and for her to reach over to squeeze your hand in order for you to smile. “Will you ever learn how to be a safe driver?”
“I mean, we’ve been married for how many years now? Sorry, you’re stuck with me and my terrible driving forever.” She glanced down at the phone, where the text from your daughter still lit up the screen. “Are you ready?”
You sighed and smiled, even though the feeling was bittersweet. “Yes, but no. It’s crazy to think that our baby is old enough to date.”
“I get what you mean. It seems like just yesterday that she was a tiny, helpless little baby. And now she’s a college student and has a car and a boyfriend. It’s weird.” Your wife pulled her purse from the backseat and raised her eyebrows. “Are you ready to meet this boy?”
“Not at all. But let’s go.” The two of you climbed out of the car and looked up at the restaurant your daughter had asked to meet at. It was simple, a Vietnamese restaurant that she said she always went to with her friends, and something about it seemed comforting as the two of you headed to the door.
“What do you think he’s going to be like?”
“Her type is skinny boys with nice smiles,” you said with a little laugh, “so I’d assume he’s going to fit that. I also think he’ll probably have black hair? All of her favorite idols have dark hair like that.”
“Observant. Although considering that his name is Johnny, I was a little scared at first.”
You knew she was talking about her younger label-mate, and just the thought made you shudder a bit. “I don’t know if I could handle a son-in-law like Johnny. Johnny is a good guy and all but he’s so....”
“Annoying?”
“Honey, don’t be mean.”
“I was kidding. But he can be a little annoying.” A little bell rang as Krystal opened the door, and she stepped aside to let you walk inside first, making you roll your eyes a bit. This many years of marriage and she still randomly got the urge to be “romantic” in public. It was cute, though. “Oh, there they are.”
Sat at a corner booth was your daughter and a boy that you vaguely recognized from some of her Instagram updates. She’d never mentioned in those posts that this boy was her boyfriend, right? Or had you just not noticed? As Krystal led the way over, your daughter looked up and her eyes widened. This was the first time you’d seen her so nervous to see you, and it was kind of cute as she jumped from her chair to greet the two of you.
“You guys finally got here! I was afraid you’d gotten lost!”
“Your mother just tried to kill us as we were getting here,” you commented playfully, giving your daughter a hug as you ducked your wife’s playful swat. “How are you doing, Kristy?”
“Great! College is awesome, I’m really happy out here.”
“That’s great!”
Shifting her attention to the boy sitting awkwardly in the booth, Kristy cleared her throat and reached out to touch his arm, making him quickly stand to his feet. “Um, this is my boyfriend, Johnny. Johnny, these are my parents.”
Johnny reached out to shake your hand, obviously nervous as he gave you a little smile. “Um, it’s nice to meet you both.”
“Nice to meet you too,” Krystal said as she shook his hand, putting on her resting face. Her resting face was pretty scary, so you knew she was doing it to be intimidating. Amused, you sat down, motioning for everyone else to do the same.
“Why don’t we get started with some drinks? Our treat tonight.”
“Oh, you don’t have to-.”
You interrupted Johnny with a wave and a little smile. “Don’t worry about it, really. We wanted tonight to be on us.”
With his cheeks a bit flushed, he ducked his head down to look at the menu and coughed awkwardly. “Thank you, then.” Was this what you had been like when you were meeting Krystal’s parents? You couldn’t really remember, it had been so long ago. But seeing the young couple shifting around and blushing was a bit funny, and you tried to remember if Krystal’s parents had laughed at all, because you really wouldn’t blame them now. It was hard not to tease.
After drinks and food were ordered, Krystal leaned over the table and fixed Johnny with a stare that made him gulp. “So, how did the two of you meet?”
He exchanged a quick glance with Kristy before answering. “We met each other through class through mutual friends and hit it off. At first we were just friends but we recently realized that we both had feelings for each other and started dating.” He looked embarrassed while he spoke, but the little smile on his lips as he talked about Kristy made you happy. You could tell that he liked her. “I don’t know if she feels the same way, but I’ve liked Kristy since the moment I saw her.”
“Awe, John.”
“Are you sure the two of you didn’t meet at a party? That seems more likely,” Krystal teased, and both the young adults blushed.
“Mom!”
“What? I’m just asking.” When your daughter groaned, Krystal smiled. “I’m right, aren’t I?”
“Maybe, but we didn’t want to tell you that!”
“Don’t worry, when I met (Y/N)-.”
You quickly cut her off before she could finish, placing your hand on her shoulder and shaking your head. “Honey, I don’t think they need to know that.”
“Thanks, I didn’t want to know,” you daughter said weakly, making both you and your wife chuckle. Johnny looked pale, the poor thing, and you felt a bit bad for him. Krystal did like to tease. Thankfully, he got a bit of a break as the food came, distracting everyone for a little while.
It was only as dinner came to an end that Krystal gave him a little smile. He looked relieved to finally get a smile, his shoulders straightening as she looked at him.
“It’s good to know that you love our daughter, though. We just want the best for her, as you know,” she said, reaching over to pat Kristy’s hand. Embarrassed, the girl whined a bit for her to stop, but she ignored her. “I think you’re a good fit for her. Just take care of her for us, okay?”
“I’ll try my best, ma’am!”
“And next time, Kristy, bring Johnny by the house for dinner! We’ve got lots of fun photos and games,” you added, trying your best to smile innocently, even as Kristy’s cheeks colored red.
“I’d like to see them,” Johnny said, turning to Kristy, who groaned and shook her head.
“No, they’re so embarrassing, seriously!”
“We’ll tell you all about the time she dressed up as SpongeBob for Halloween.”
“Mom! Oh my god, remind me to burn those photos next time I’m home.”
Laughing, Johnny took her hand. “I’m sure you looked cute.” Again, Kristy blushed, and you found yourself smiling. Ah, young love. They were so cute.
After saying your goodbyes, you headed back to the car with Krystal, walking in comfortable silence. After years of being married, the two of you didn’t need to talk in moments like this. It was like you could read her mind, and you knew that she knew what you were thinking as well. Especially when she laughed once the two of you were in the car and turned to look at you.
“Johnny’s a cute kid, isn’t he?”
“I do really like him,” you said as you buckled in. “I think he fits our Kristy well.”
“If she has to date anyone, I’m glad it’s him.” Another moment passed, and you reached over to take her hand.
“I know, it’s weird that she’s all grown up to me too. But we have to learn to let go.”
“I know. In my head, she’s still a baby, but when I look at her, she’s grown into a fine young woman. And I’m very proud of her for that.” Chuckling, Krystal squeezed your hand before pulling out of the parking spot, heading home. It was just two of you in the car instead of three like it had been for so many years, and it was a little bittersweet. On one hand, you wanted her to stay young forever, but on the other hand, you were happy that she was getting to experience her own young love, just like the one you’d had with your now wife. You were proud of what she had accomplished, and proud of what she would accomplish. And if Johnny loved her, you were happy that she had him at her side.
“We’ll have to tease them a little more when they come over,” you said, leaning your head back against the headrest with a little smile. Maybe you weren’t as mischievous as Krystal, but you just couldn’t resist. Even if they were all grown up, a little teasing showed how cute they still were. And you were more than happy to do your fair share as her parent. “Do you think Kristy remembers the time she put her birthday cake on her head?”
“Yes! I knew I married you for a reason.”

⇢     phoebe tonkin. thirty. cisfemale. she/her.  i can’t believe i just saw ELIZA HAWKE walking out of cadence records. they’re lucky enough to be the HEAD OF THE LEGAL TEAM at cadence records and they've been with the company for ONE MONTH. it's been stated at cr that they're known to be FAULT-FINDING but i heard they can be ALLEGIANT too and they seem to give off a vibe that reminds people of red lipstick on its 8th hour, draping your wrist over the steering wheel, hiding your bad smoking habits, & pointed toe heels .
YEA I GOT ANOTHER CHARACTER AND WHAT ABOUT IT ! bc i'm shameless i will also link adri's bio here just in case y'all wanna come plot there too hehe :D
eliza is ultra different from adri but if im honest ... both are messes ... i try my best to keep my intros short so i will sparknotes her life below but pls message if u wanna plot or if u wanna know more about her ! either way thank u for reading this and for being a great group ajshkajsh ... it has been expressed to me ( not here ) that people feel A Way™ about phoebe tonkin fcs but this is my first time playing her and i will try my best to not be Like That™ ( whatever that means )
eliza is australian because phoebe is australian and 1. h2o and 2. she has a terrible american accent and i know this is all fake but i refuse to suspend my disbelief for that long . anyways she was born and raised in melbourne, the only child to an american soldier and an australian flight attendant. some may ask her how that worked out and her honest answer is that she wishes it didn't
she grew up to be a bit of an army brat, not necessarily because they moved around a lot but in the sense that her father's always been pretty strict. there was never a lock on her door, her social and online activities are heavily monitored, she has to say yes sir to her own dad ? this mans got issues ... clearly . for someone like eliza, always a bit inquisitive and rebellious and independent, it felt stifling at best. her mother was no reprieve, either, intent on creating the image of a perfect, nuclear family that often times her pressure was just as suffocating. when her father, one day, decided he missed arizona and took his wife and fourteen year old daughter with him, eliza felt more isolated from the world
so she overcompensated in school to find that control. for her family, her hard work was an indicator of ambition. for her, it was a way to not be inside her house. as debilitating as her family was for her mental health, that level of accuracy and perfection and need for control propelled her to the top of every, if not most things, she did. when she joined the debate club in her high school, i think you can only imagine how freeing it was to finally win an argument and have platform for her own opinions
eliza was supposed to be a politician. but when college and that freedom hit ... she figured her escapades would be best kept secret if she were an attourney. she double majored in business and in law, having degrees in both, and soon became an asset in a major law firm. she'd gained notoreity as a real shark in her firm, but after she won a suit against the team put together for [ redacted celebrity name ], and then another one ... and then another one ... she was recruited to actually work for cadence record's rival label to be a part of the legal team.
she went in for the interview and was extended the offer. instead of jumping at the opportunity, she sat on it ( LIKE A BUSINESS WOMAN ! ) until either a.) they raised their price or b.) someone extended a better offer. it wasn't like she was hiding anything either, so when word got out that the person costing all these record labels hundreds of thousands of dollars could potentially be a free agent ... offers rolled in. she picked cadence because, more than the money and the brand, they offered her something no one else did: at the young age of thirty, she would be in charge of the whole team
wanted connections ! spare plots sir ... :
headaches ! celebs that keep getting into trouble. she's like ... this person again ?!?
enemies ... maybe y'all don't vibe or u have different leadership styles or she litigated against u and said some out of pocket shit ? i love to hate
i also love to love ... exes plot maybe ? open to all genders !
work friends ... eliza is a fun drunk . but she's so high strung bc she's new at cadence so someone please ... let her let loose !
sibling style relationship — eliza is an only child but i think she gives me big sister vibes ? if u need someone to look out for ur muse she's ur girl
close friends — after living in arizona for hs ( gross ... ) and going to the east coast for college, she's probably got some ride or dies
unlikely duo
fwb yea i said it im trash. maybe will they won't they cuz i luv that shit
people that have known her for a while ? could be friends could be enemies but i think some history could be super interesting
also i love banter so ... if u could just have someone who can give eliza banter ... thank u . i appreciate u

Drunken Texts (Part 1)
Twice Jihyo x Reader
Angst
Prompt: She texts you feeling intoxicated and drunk, saying she misses you, and deep inside, you miss her too.
Tumblr media
It was 1 in the morning when you heard your phone going off. You didn't give it much thought thinking it was just a few notifications from your sound cloud and other social media. But as your phone kept vibrating, you knew for sure something was off. It was unusual because you would normally receive one notification and that's all. Something inside you just wasn't settling right, so you decided to pick up after you heard it buzz for the fifth time. When you did, you squinted at the screen from the bright light that illuminated your room. You checked the time as you searched for the source of your notifications. It was 1:22 a.m. Thank god it was only the weekend. As you opened your phone, you realized you received a bunch of texts. You felt a sour lump form in the back of your throat as you saw who the messages were from. Your thumb hovers over her name, debating whether or not to open them. You haven't heard from her in months since your break up. You suck in a breath as you open up her texts. You knew you were going to regret this later. You start to read the first two sentences, barely making out what she's saying.
Y/n babyy~ i miss u liek crazy.
Your chest tightens at her words. What is up with these text messages? She's never acted like this before.
U would think sencding a girl flowrs would help improve ur relationship but i guess i was wrong.
You suddenly remember that time she brought you flowers when you were at work to surprise you. It was a surprise alright, but you later had a talk to her about how you’re allergic to them. You start reading the other messages she sent you, and they're all just as weird as the next. It doesn't take you long to figure out she's drunk. For some reason you find this amusing. When you were together, you were never able to get her to drink. Not even on special occasions. She was always watching herself, making sure she was being a good role model for her younger friends. That was one thing about her that you fell in love with. Loved. Past tense. You’d be lying to yourself if you said she never crossed your mind here and there.
You suddenly feel your phone vibrate in your hands. You open the message and see that Jihyo has sent you a blurry selfie of herself. It's dark and out of focus. The neon sign is hard to read. Is she by the dumpster? Your phone vibrates again, and she sends you another picture. The photo is somewhat clear, and you can make out the background a bit better. Jihyo is laughing at something, or maybe someone. The amusement you had on your lips vanish once you realize that she might be alone.
In a flash, you’re up and racing towards your door. You shouldn't care about what happens to her anymore or who she's with, but this feeling in your gut is telling you otherwise. You start to call Jihyo as you grab your jacket and head out to your car. When you get there, you’re turning on the ignition, and just as you’re about to drive off, she finally picks up.
"Hello?" Her voice hums into the phone. You think you hear her hiccup a couple times, but pay no mind to it.
"Where are you?" You ask her. You back out of your parking spot and start driving with one hand on the wheel, while the other grips the phone.
"I'm outside. Who's asking?" She stumbles over her words, and you’re sure you hear another voice in the background.
"Jesus Christ." You mutter under your breath. You make a U turn at the next stop and pick up your speed.
"Y/n? Is that you? Are you coming to rescue me?" She asked in a sing song voice. You let out a heavy sigh when you get to a stop light. Your hand still clutches onto the phone, while you’re pretty sure your knuckles have gone white from gripping the steering wheel too long.
"Yeah, I'm coming to rescue you. But you need to tell me where you are first." The light turns green, and you start up again. You hear a few cars honk at you, but you ignore them.
"Well." She starts off. "I'm at a bar. A really, really great bar with loud music and awesome drinks." She tells you through broken hiccups in between her words.
"What's the name of the place Jihyo?" You try asking her in a more calmer tone so she'll finally tell you. It takes her a moment, but when you hear those words, you start going in that direction.
"Henry's." Is all she says. Your instincts were right. You knew that picture she sent you was too familiar. You’ve been there before. Once. Twice. Okay, maybe a couple times, but that doesn’t matter now.
"Don't move. I'm coming to get you." You say. You don't hang up. Instead, you put her on speaker and toss your phone into the passengers seat. She's breathing heavily on the other line. You’re starting to get scared for her. Even if you aren't together anymore, there's still a part of you that still cares about her. That's the thing, if she was ever in trouble, you’d still go to her in a heartbeat like a dog to its owner when they are being thrown a ball. That was something you always had trouble with growing up. You never learned how to let someone go. You would always go to them no matter the consequences. You cared too much. It's a hard habit to get rid of.
"Hey, what are you doing out here?" Your heart clenches when you hear an unfamiliar voice boom in the background.
"Ah, just getting some fresh air." Jihyo replies. You can't make out who the voice belongs to.
"Jihyo!" You practically scream as you peel yourself into the next lane. Just two more exits and you'll be there. "Stay where you are." You tell her. You don't think she heard you. After a moment of complete silence, the call ends. You grab your phone to check it and curse as you throw it back into the passengers seat. "Damn it." You get off the last exit and make a right turn into the parking lot of Henry's. You don't bother parking as you rush out the drivers side. You make your way toward the front doors to be greeted with the smell of cigarettes and booze. You see a couple people standing outside, but you don't recognize any of them as you try to find Jihyo. When you enter the bar you’re greeted with loud music and a strong smell of whiskey. You see Minho, the bar owner, behind the counter tending to customers. He notices you and immediately smiles.
"Y/n, what are you doing here?" He comes over to you while cleaning an empty glass.
"I'm looking for Jihyo. You know where she is?" You ask him. He sets the glass down and gives you a thoughtful look.
"No clue." You watch him take another empty glass and start cleaning it with a rag. You sigh as you wrap the top of the counter with your knuckles.
"Thanks." You say. He nods you off and you search the crowd of people in the room. Even through the dim lights, you know Jihyo wasn't here. She would be too easy to spot in a crowd like this. Raking a hand through your hair, you decide to walk back out. You go behind the building to the dumpsters and notice she wasn't there either. You curse out loud as you kick the dirt beneath you. You pray that she isn't with some stranger. You hope she isn't with some stranger. What if I was too late? What if that guy is taking advantage of her? What if-
You almost trip over a body on the ground. Their legs stick out and you notice that it's Jihyo squatting next to the trash. You don't know why you’re relieved to see her there, but you are.
"Jihyo." You breathe out. She looks up at you and you notice how messy her hair is. Her makeup is smeared and her clothes are somewhat too revealing. You take your long coat, and put it around her shoulders. You help her up in the process. "Jihyo what happened?" You ask her in a low tone. She wobbles against you, and it looks like she was gonna faint. You quickly latch onto her, and hoist her arm around you. She lets out in a giggling mess as you make your way toward your car parked out front. "How many drinks have you had?" You ask her. She only giggles in response.
"Who knows. Three? Four? Maybe eight. You know, I was never one to hold my liquor." She slurs. You finally get to your car, and you set her in the passengers side.
"I wouldn't know." You tell her. It's not like she'll remember this conversation tomorrow. You don't know why you’re trying. "It's not like you would ever drink around me." I\You place her legs inside, and close the door. You walk over to the drivers side and get in. You glance over at Jihyo, and she's barely awake. Her head moves side to side, and her eyes are barely open. You turn on the AC, and roll down the windows a little to get some fresh air in here.
"You know." Jihyo starts. You turn on the ignition and start driving back to your apartment. You don't say anything as you let her speak. "There was a girl with eyes, just. Like. Yours." She states in a matter of fact tone.
"Oh yeah?" You say. She stirs in her seat to sit up properly. You think she's trying to make it look like she's sober, but she is hopelessly failing.
"Totally. But her eyes could never compare to the real thing." She's never spoken her mind out loud like this before. You’re surprised to even hear her say something like that. She was always delicate and cautious of what she did or said. This was new seeing her like this. Even if she is drunk, it's still something than nothing.
"You're drunk." You tell her. You hit a speed bump, and Jihyo practically jumps in her seat.
"You have no proof." She says. You decide to try and hold a conversation with her, just to see how far she can go.
"What were you doing drinking out by yourself?" You glance at her, and she's sitting there on cloud nine with a smile on her face.
"I wasn't alone." She laughs. You feel your chest tighten, afraid for the worst. "I was with a friend. But he left me alone for some other chick." She pouts. You don't know why you find that cute. "Y/n." She whines your name and it takes every fiber of your being not to get too carried away with her. You take your eyes off the road for a moment to look back at her. She's turned in her seat with all of her focus on you. You don't say anything as you refocus your attention back on the road. "Why do people always leave me? Am I that easy to be replaced?" You know where she's going with this, and you try to answer in the best humane way possible.
"No one has left you Jihyo. You still have your parents, and siblings, and your friends. They're not going anywhere." You tell her. She stays silent for a moment. You see in the corner of your eyes that she's fidgeting with her fingers.
"I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about you." There it is, plain and simple. You shift in your seat as you make a left. "Why did you leave me y/n?" She asks you in a different tone, and you were afraid that wasn't her for a second. But she's drunk, so you don't blame her.
"You broke up with me, remember?" You say it as if it was a normal thing to hear. But saying something and hearing something was two different things. Jihyo seemed to understand what you had said though, and she makes this face as if the thought had just struck her.
"Why did I break up with you? I love you." She says it as though it was easy. But if the sober Jihyo heard herself, you know she would have felt embarrassed and would never want to say those words again.
"You're drunk." You tell her again.
You’re almost back at your place and you pray that she's done talking. You’re done talking. You turn into your driveway and park your car. When you get out and go over to Jihyo's side, she's already getting up, ready to walk by herself. But you grab onto her just in case. You slowly walk up the stairs with her holding onto you. It's hard trying to walk with a drunk clinging onto you. But you don't mind that it's her. You get to your door, and you fumble with your keys. Jihyo starts slipping in your grasp, and you react fast by trying to grab a hold of her waist, but your hand grazes her boob instead.
"Sorry!" Your voice squeaks. You feel your cheeks heat up at that small gesture. When you look at Jihyo, she doesn't even seem to notice. She's too drunk and wobbly to even function properly. Maybe she's finally out of it. You think. You feel thankful that she may not remember any of this in the morning. When you get inside, you haul her over to your bed. You take off her shoes, and lay her down on her side just in case she throws up. You take your coat off her shoulders, and put it back by the rack near the front door. You bring back a trash bag and a bottled water if she wakes up later. As you stare down at her, you can't help but trace the outline of her face with your palm. Her face is hot and sweaty. It's almost like she has a fever. Maybe this is why she never drank around you. Maybe she didn't want you to see this side of her. You can't help but get lost in your thoughts staring at her until the sudden realization hits you. She broke up with you. You shouldn't be doing this, you know, but she's Jihyo, and you’re you. As sad as it is, you would still do anything for her if she asked. You let out a sigh as you grab a pillow from the other side of her. As you do so, you feel her arms wrap around your waist. You can't help but let out a nervous laugh.
"Let go Jihyo." You tell her like a mom tells their child to go to bed.
"Don't wanna." She mumbles. You grip your hands around her wrists and pin them down to the bed. You quickly try to escape, and just as you start to turn, she wraps her arms from behind you and intertwines her fingers around your front. You feel her bury her head into your lower back and you sigh into her. You missed that warm feeling she gave you all those times. I missed her. But those thoughts slip your mind as you shake away from her grasp and away from her. She stumbles forward, and you catch her in time before she hit the ground. She really did have too much to drink. You think to yourself. You adjust her back in bed and pull the covers over her shoulders. She doesn't object as she drifts off to sleep. She's out like a light and you can't help but stand there and stare at her as if she was a totally different person, and not the Jihyo you once knew. You brush a few strands of her locks away from her face, and make your way toward the couch afterwards. You try to fall asleep knowing that the girl you used to date is drunk and is sleeping in your bed. But your mind runs wild and you can barely sleep at all.
The next morning, you find yourself awake rather earlier than usual. Jihyo was still sound asleep in your bed. You try not to wake her as you make your way toward the bathroom to take a shower. As you rinse off, you let the cold water run down your back, wondering how Jihyo is going to react waking up in your apartment. It's been a while since she has last been here. You remember it as if it were yesterday when she was telling you that she needed to talk, and you knew that it was code for something serious. Only back then you didn't know how serious til it led to yelling and crying. You shake the thought away when you get out of the shower. You change into some clothes and dry your hair with a hair dryer. Once you get out, you almost fall backwards when you see Jihyo sitting up in bed.
"Hey." You say it in a surprised tone. You weren’t expecting her to get up this early either. "You're awake." You say. She's staring at her hands that sit on her lap. You don't think she's registering what's going on. She looks at you and squints her eyes. Her hand flies to her forehead and she doubles over.
"Ugh my head." She complains. You walk over to her side and hand her some medicine to help ease off the pain. "Thanks." She downs the pill you give her dry before reaching for the bottled water next to her. You sit across from her on your bed and stare at her silently. Her hair is messier than it was last night and you can't help but stifle a laugh. She finally notices and her eyes widen when she realizes the situation she is in. "Oh my god." She whispers to herself while covering her mouth. You see the wheels turning in her head as she connects the dots from last night. She completely folds over and buries her face in the palm of her hands. "I am so sorry. About last night, about calling you." She stammers. "Oh my god and those texts. What I said I-" You cut her off short.
"It's okay. You were drunk. It happens to the best of us." You tell her. She shoots you a look and you cower in your spot.
"Not to me." You almost snort at her choice of words.
"Well it did. Last night." You start to get up and make your way to the kitchen. You grab what was a half eaten sandwich and walk back to the room. Jihyo still hasn't moved from her spot as you gave her the sandwich. She eyes it before taking it from your hands. She takes one bite before downing the whole thing.
"Hang over food." You tell her. She doesn't quite understand the concept as she gives you those confused eyes of hers. But she doesn't question it either. "Take it easy for now. It'll blow away in a few hours maybe." You were being nothing but honest to her. You noticed she finished the water next to her. You go to grab it, and once you do, you’re about to walk back to throw it away but Jihyo stops you by grabbing your wrist.
"Wait." She says to you. You stop and look down at her. She bows her head, not meeting your eyes. You sigh sitting next to her as you set the bottle down and sit in front of her. The bed dips as you do so, causing Jihyo to shift on her left. She stares at you for a brief moment before opening her mouth. "I really am sorry for causing you trouble last night." She tells you honestly and dearly. Your eyes soften as you reach for her hand.
"It's okay, really. I'm just glad you're not hurt." You suddenly remember about that guy she was with and the voice over the phone. "Who were you with again last night? You called me and I heard another voice in the background. I didn't recognize it." You tell her. She furrows her eyes in concentration from last night. It takes her a while trying to recollect her memories. You think it was too much to remember because she comes up with nothing but what she has already told you.
"I don't know, I'm sorry. I was with a friend though. He left with his girlfriend I think and I continued to drown myself in liquor." She tells you. You watch her eyes shift between you and her hands. She finally rubs her temples in frustration. "I really can't remember I'm sorry."
"It's fine. I don't expect you to remember much anyway." You say. She looks at you and you think she's going to say something sincere or sweet, but instead she asks you if she could use your shower and borrow some clothes. You tell her it's fine, like usual, and give her some of your clothes. You watch her disappear into your bathroom, and you flop on your back on your bed.
A while later, Jihyo appears and you feel your heart hammer against your chest at the sight of her wearing your favorite top.
"I'll wash them and give them back to you tomorrow." She says. You almost tell her that she can keep those ripped jeans of yours and that favorite top that you always adored. Although it's a little bigger on her, she makes it look better. She notices you staring and clears her throat, snapping you out of your thoughts. "Look, can we just forget about any of this happening? What I said last night wasn't true at all. I was drunk, obviously, so please can you just forget that any of it ever happened?" She looks at you with hopeful eyes and you almost say yes.
"A drunk mans words are a sober mans thoughts." You quote. She looks at you shocked.
"What?" She doesn't get it. You don't expect her to.
"Nothing, yeah let's forget about last night ever happening." You finally agree. She smiles at you like she hasn't ripped out your heart months ago.
"Good. Thanks." She takes slow small steps toward the spot next to you on your bed. You want to tell her that you missed her. You want to know how she's been. But if you do that, you’ll only get hurt again. So you sit in silence waiting for the right time to ask her when she'll leave. "So how have you been?" She surprises you by asking you the question you wanted to ask her.
"Why do you care?" You snap at her. She looks hurt at your words and you regret saying them in the first place.
"It's just-we haven't spoken in a while and I guess, I missed talking to you." She simply states. You stare at her with your mouth hanging slightly open. Is she reading your mind or something?
"I've been fine, if you have to know. What about you?" You ask her. She moves her head side to side and hums in response.
"Never been better." She gives you one of those 'Jihyo smile' of hers. The smile you used to love. The smile that could make anyone fall in love with. She grins at you, but you know it's forced.
"Really?" You cock an eyebrow.
"Really." She lies through her teeth. You don't know who she's fooling here. You or her, but it's not working and she knows it. Her grin fades when she sees your reaction. She turns away from you as the words she says next slip through her mouth and right past your heart. "I did mean it when I said I missed you." That's when you stood up making her startled.
"Don't start Jihyo." You say with your back facing her. You feel her arms hug you from behind, and you tense at her touch.
"I've missed you y/n." She pauses. "Have you not missed me?" That's when you snapped. You tear her arms away from you and break free from her grasp. You turn to her and she's looking back at you surprised.
"Missed you?" You say almost bitterly. "I haven't stopped thinking about the day you told me you wanted to break up. I was in love with you. Was." You tell her so she knows. "It took me a slow painful few months to actually get over the fact that you didn't want me anymore. And now, you're telling me that you missed me?" You try to keep your voice level, but you feel yourself on the brink of tears. "Please, don't make me laugh." You spat. She jumps when you say that and you don't even feel sorry for it. She doesn't move and you don't either. It stays quiet between you, and you can feel yourself wanting to cry, but you hold it in. "I think you should leave." You finally tell her. Your heart catches itself in the back of your throat. Jihyo notices your shaky voice and tried to comfort you, but you shoo her away. "Please go." You tell her again. She looks at you, and you know, but you don't look at her. After a moment, you hear her footsteps go further and further away from you. You still don't move from your spot as you hear her leave. Once the door clicks, You immediately break down crying. You fall to your knees and dig your face into the palms of your hands. I have missed you too. You think to yourself. You think of Jihyo and how she was the first person you ever truly loved. You think about how your first kiss was like and how your last was. You think of the first time the two of you ever said 'I love you' to each other. I love you. The words echo in your brain like a hamster on wheels. After seeing her again, those feelings you once had slowly popped up like dandelions in the snow. Do you still love her is the question though. You would still do anything for her if she asked because a part of you still cares. But does that mean you still love her? As sad as it sounds, maybe you do. After all that she's put you through, maybe you still love her. But another part of you doesn't and that confuses the hell out of you. What's the difference of caring about someone and loving them? You rake the back of your brain, trying to come up with an answer. Maybe there is no answer to that.

Piotr rarely has bad days at work. There are slow days, boring days, uneventful days, but never bad days. Yet, the morning is yet to come to its end and he’s already fought with Sergei and Viktor. He truly doesn’t want to see what the rest of his shift will bring along. And even if he wanted to think about what the near future has in store for him before he goes back home, he truly wouldn’t be able to.
The only thing he can focus on is the punishing movement of his hips against the curve of Y/N’s ass as he takes her from behind. It must have been some higher entity that sent her to him right that morning because as of right now, with her bent over the trunk of his cab with her walls clamping down on him so tight, he feels like he’s grounding himself again.
Anger slowly leaves his system with each thrust into her eager pussy and with each kiss or swipe of the tongue on her neck as he bends down above her. It’s relaxing and it empties his mind and…
And he doesn’t know how his hand ends up wrapping itself around the base of her throat and it’s as much of a surprise for her as it is for him: she moans, so long and so low that shivers creep down his spine and at the same time that she goes limp in his arms, she comes unexpectedly.
*
He’s still thinking about that when he goes back home that night. Everything’s alright with Seriozha and Vitya now and Piotr feels lighter than he felt that morning before leaving his bed – and while he’s always in for a good fistfight here and then, he never likes it when he fights against his friends. They’re like family and any minor argument with them has an unsettling feeling to sink down in his stomach.
But as he drives, his friends are not what’s occupying his mind. His gaze keeps on falling down onto his right hand, knuckles white as he grips the steering wheel. He tries to distract himself with the chill air brushing along his left hand and arm, perched outside the driver’s window, but all he can feel under his fingertips is the skin of Y/N’s neck – and her racing pulse as she inches closer to her orgasm with the speed of a freight train.
He’s still hard – he has been for a while now. He has never hit a girl, not even once, he’s not that kind of man, despite what his criminal record might suggest. But the memory of her falling apart under his hand as he gently pulled her up until her back was pressed against his chest and the feeling of her coming hard around him…
Fuck.
He holds onto the steering wheel with his left hand as he shifts gear with his right and he has to – he has to – fix the crotch of his pants because the constriction is becoming uncomfortable. And it’s a growing feeling: it slowly creeps up on him the closer he gets to Y/N’s apartment and the closer he is, the quicker his breathing becomes.
It’s an unknown feeling. It’s good and overwhelming at the same time, and all playfulness leaves him the moment he parks the car. He stiffs up against his seat and he has to focus on the parked car in front of his to calm his breathing and his racing thoughts.
He doesn’t… He doesn’t even know how he feels at the thought of choking her – and obviously, it’s not a ‘choking to death’ kind of thing, but rather a ‘choking to get you wetter and make you come harder’ idea. It’s a kink he’s never thought he had, but faced with the reality of things, he doesn’t feel half as bad as he thought he would at the idea of doing that with her.
Most of the times he’s playful during sex: he makes her laugh and cracks jokes in the middle of the deed, and only on rare occasions, when he’s too tired to fuck in any position other than lying on his side with her back against his chest, he’s a little more serious. His hand has never moved to press down on her throat before, though, but…
It somehow feels good – to know she trusts him enough not to snap her neck and not to hurt her, despite knowing who he truly is. It makes pride bubble up inside him, puffing out his chest, and slowly, a grin stretches across his lips.
*
Y/N bent over the seatback of the couch with her panties down to her ankles is one of Piotr’s favorite views. And her soft and gasped moans as he sucks on her clit from his kneeling position between her legs are his favorite music.
His tongue licks a stripe down her folds before he pushes two fingers inside her and there it is – that choked gasp he loves so much. Goosebumps wash over his skin when she lets out that sound and he groans against her. She tries to clamp her legs shut because he knows that’s the sound of her being so close to stumbling over the edge.
And that’s also the moment he pulls away, kisses the back of her bare thighs, playfully slaps her buttcheeks and stands up.
But there’s something in the way his hands glide up from her hips to her ribcage and cover her breasts, something different than his usual touch. They both know it, they both feel it, but neither of them knows what it is.
“So…” Piotr clears his voice as he bends forward and presses her harder into the cushioned seatback of the couch. He’s still fully dressed but this doesn’t stop him from also being harder than he thought he’d be, and as he presses his erection against her from inside his jeans, he nuzzles better between her legs. “Someone likes to be choked.”
She trembles at his words, shivers against his chest as she tries to grind against him from the position she’s in. It’s not easy, not with her weak legs, still trembling from when his tongue and mouth were on her. She doesn’t answer, but rather simply turns her head to the side to look at him from the corner of her eye and she’s not able to stop the blush from creeping up under her skin.
Her skin is boiling, they both know it, and while he grins, she wants to crawl away.
Still, she doesn’t answer. Be it because she’s embarrassed or because of the unexpected revelation, she doesn’t know. She keeps her mouth closed and only lets out a chuckle when Piotr takes a step back to allow her to stand up straight and turn to face him.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” The tone of her voice is playful, the look in her eyes, though, isn’t. It’s set and clouded at the same time and Piotr knows what she wants him to do.
“We should put theory to test.”
They’re too similar, the two of them. And so, when he reaches out and wraps his hand around her throat, he’s not surprised to see her pupils dilate in the dimmed lights of the living room and neither is she to feel her heartbeat quicken up.
He takes a step forward, closes the short distance between their bodies until they’re pressed up against each other. His lips skim over her flushed cheek, her burning skin a welcoming feeling against him, and then they glide down to her neck following the line of her jaw.
He thinks he feels her heartbeat pulse against his lips, on her pulse point, and he grins. “Because I like it.” His voice is hoarse against her skin, almost sore, as he lets his free hand caress down her abdomen until he presses his middle finger against her clit. “I like how weak in bones you get with my hand on your throat.”
Her breasts pushing against his chest when she arches her back slightly make him smirk and when he looks up at her, he almost loses it. Eyes closed, lips parted, head thrown back – he wants to fucking ruin her then and there. There’s never a moment where he doesn’t want that and he knows it – and worse than that, Sergei knows it and never misses a chance to make fun of him.
So, he smirks and stares at his fingers as he slowly flexes them around her neck. It’s not enough to hurt her, for he’d never do something like that, but it’s enough to let her know that he knows and is willing to give it to her.
“Say you want it.”
The soft brushing of his lips against her ear makes her shiver – and moan. A trembling whine slips past her lips and he feels her swallow hard underneath his hand.
“What do you think, genius?” Y/N opens her eyes, then, and one of her hands wraps around his wrist, the other reaching the hand he has between her legs. “You always think with your dick, but not now?”
Piotr chuckles at that and lets her go. He loves that of them, he loves her remarks, the ones that make him laugh, even during sex – or foreplay. He falls harder for her each time and each time he thinks he’d never want anything else. It’s a comfortable comfort and he loves that smart mouth of hers, loves the things she says or does with it.
When the weight of his hand leaves her throat then, she whimpers softly and when he takes a step back, she takes one forward. It’s always like that between them: it’s like a dance and they’re not willing to leave the dance floor, yet; and so, they keep on chasing each other, hands always busy, always hungry for the other’s skin.
This is the reason why she reaches him when he calls her and the reason why her hands are quick and messy as she fumbles with her clothes. It’s one of those nights where they can’t take it slow, and they have to be quick – quick touches and quick kisses and quick thrusts, and everything is bruising in the most perfect of ways.
He helps her – he always does, for they’re just as hungry for each other. He throws his shirt to the ground just as she unbuckles his belt and pushes his jeans down his legs.
She smiles up at him then and she chuckles when she sees the angry-red head of his erection. There are equal parts of amusement and hunger in her eyes, in the way she licks up his thigh, in the way she smiles. He’s not that different and that’s the reason why he grabs her by her arms and pulls her to her feet.
“So dirty-minded,” she chuckles against his lips before letting him kiss her.
“You like it.”
“I do.”
He follows her with a smirk on his face when she leads him around the couch before plopping down on it. Her tits jiggle with her every movement and he can’t but reach out to grope them as she lays down on her back.
“We need to make this quick.” He breathes hard against her skin when he positions himself between her legs and his cock brushes against her wet folds. He could stay there forever, bask in her warmth and in her embrace. Not even Vladimir’s shitty temper could drag him to work if he truly caved into his fantasies.
“You’re so kinky,” she laughs, hands brushing up his sides and stopping on his shoulder blades as she kisses his lips. “Can never last long when you’re in this mood.”
He chuckles, but he’s also quick at cutting off her laughter: he grabs his dick at the base and snaps his hips forward, thrusting into her. The sensations force him to screw his eyes shut, but he doesn’t miss her gasp, nor her fingers pressing into the skin of his back as she arches off the couch.
“Let’s see how fast you come with my hand around your throat,” he hums in her ear.
*

True. (Tig x Reader)
Tumblr media
Word Count:1293
Author’s Note: Hay guys! Thought I’d get this out to you before the next wave of exams start on Monday, hope that you enjoy this one. Don’t forget to send in those requests!
Requested:Hi! I love ur work and was wondering if you’d be willing to write a Tig x reader?? The reader and Tig have been together for a while, and he decides to finally introduce her to the club, and one of the guys does the thing where they hit on her behind Tig’s back bc they need to see if she actually cares for him or is just secretly a Croweater. SO the reader clocks the guy who gets handsy and goes off on him for being a terrible friend to Tig before they all come clean about the test lmao
You and Tig were talking for a while before he asked you to be his girlfriend. With his reputation, it surprised you that he wanted that sort of thing, but here you were, 9 months down the line and happy.
It was well into the evening, the two of you eating dinner and just talking about your days.
“I want you to meet them.” His sudden burst of conversation threw you off. You had never pushed him to introduce you to the club, not wanting to come off negatively but you wanted to meet them, to be part of the family. Looking up at him, his eyes were already on you with his fork hanging from his hand.  Those blue eyes sending shivers through you, how could you say no? Sitting up straight you replied.
“It’s up to you Tig, they’re your family.”
“And that’s why I want you to meet them. You’re my family as well.” He smiled at you, calming your nerves.
“Okay then.”
And that was that. You put no thought to the matter, knowing that you wanted this to happen. Ever since that night everything felt like it was fitting into place. You had the love of your life, a good job and now you were on your way to meet you soon-to-be family. One of Tig’s ring clad hands was on the steering wheel while the other was holding you hand. The size difference always made you melt, his hands were double yours. It made you feel safe.
As Tig pulled into the lot, you felt your stomach start to bubble. You were anxious but at the same time you were excited, ready to start the new chapter in your life.
The lot was pretty empty, apart from the odd member scurrying around or someone entering or leaving. You’d never really been here, only saw from afar. Having always dreamed of becoming part of the well-known clan since you started this with Tig, it was unbelievable to know you were about to meet them all.
As the car came to a stop, you hopped out and rejoined Tig. With your hands interlaced, you made your way inside the clubhouse with a smile spread across both of your faces.
----
The boys had noticed a difference in their Tiggy: the leaving early, staying out of trouble (of course not completely) and the fact he wasn’t found passed out on the pool table with his touchy hands all over multiple croweaters and sweetbutts. So when he walked into the clubhouse with a lady on his arm, it wasn’t a surprise, still a shocking sight to see but nonetheless.
The guys were all hanging round the bar, drinking and smoking. There wasn’t much happening with the club at the minute and everyone was enjoying the ability to live freely. Clay was the first to clock onto the approaching new face. Bringing a beer to his lips, his mind started running, suddenly skeptical of the situation and her intentions with their brother.
The next to notice was Bobby. His face contorted into confusion, never in his life did he think this sight would ever happen. Bobby turned towards Clay with furrowed eyebrows. Clay nodded his head in their direction.
----
“Brothers. I’d like you to meet someone, this is (Y/N).” He looked down at you with those crystal blue eyes and smiled, giving you the confidence that you needed. Hand wrapped around your waist and the other by his side. You smiled at the bunch, analysing the men.
They looked like the stereotypical bike club. Tattoos. Leather. Alcohol and a mean glare. You loved it already.
“Hey..” You raised your hand in a slight wave, smiling back to the young man with a mohawk who seemed to not be able to keep that contagious smile off his face.
“Well this is definitely something. Our Tiggy with a woman! I’m Juice.” He introduced himself and glanced at the rest of his friends, in a way nudging them to speak. Within seconds the clubhouse was filled with hoots and hollers, Tig’s brothers pulling him into a massive hug and away from you. Your heart warmed at the sight of it all, your man in his element, with the people that he loved. Caught up in the moment you suddenly realised that someone was beside you, his hand edging way too close to your arse. Sliding out of his grasp you turned to him with your arms crossed over your chest, astonished that one of his so called ‘brothers’ would do something like this to him.
“Hi…” You trailed off so that you would find out his name. Not caring that if he was a friend of Tig’s or not, you’re not going to get touched up by some random guy.
“Bobby. I must say, Tig is a lucky guy..” His eyes trailed up and down your body in the most shameless way, it made you feel sick. Who did he think he was?
“Excuse me, I’d prefer it if you didn’t look at me like a piece of meat.” The authority in your voice shocked Bobby, now knowing that she wasn’t a regular woman. But some croweaters were feisty. A dirty smirk graced his face and he walked towards you again.
“Come on baby, I’m just trying to have a good time.” His hands grabbed at your hips as his face went to kiss at your neck. You weren’t having any of it. The anger boiling up inside you as you pushed him back, slapping him across the face. Bobby stumbled and his hand shot to the side of his face. The sound caused the room to turn silent, everybody’s eyes now facing the scene trying to figure out what happened. Clay just smirked at the sight, nodding to himself in satisfaction. Tig marched up to you.
“What the fuck happened?” He wasn’t angry at you, knowing that you wouldn’t just slap someone without a decent excuse. You turned to him with an anger clouding your eyes.
“You want to ask your friend that question!” You didn’t care about the what the others would think at this point.
Before Tig had the chance to direct his next question to the, now injured, Bobby, Clay stepped forward and placed his hand on his shoulder.
“It isn’t Bobby, I had to check her out. Can’t let just any random croweater have you.” The president then turned to you, “Sorry about this. Croweaters try and get in with one of the guys and we can’t have that. I was just checking.”
“She has a mean slap, I’ll give her that.” Bobby piped up from his seat at the bar. You smirked at his comment, but still annoyed at how this day played out.
“I’d rather you said something instead of playing games.” You put a hand on your hip as you replied to the older man. He raised his hands in defence before backing away to the bar. Tuning toward your man, you were met with the beautiful sight of him biting his lip, his look blatantly turned on.
“What?” You asked with a slight smile.
“Just didn’t know that my girl was such a badass.” Hands pulling you into him until you were chest to chest. Reaching up to place a kiss to his lips, your arms encasing his neck.
“I love you.” He mumbled against your lips. It was so quiet and slight that you nearly didn’t hear it but you were glad you did. It was the first time either of you had said that.
A blush coloured you face as you kissed him again, this time more rough. Gasping for breath you pulled away and rested your forehead against his.
“I love you too.”

Big Bad Wolf
Request:  Ur emmetts vampire mate and he sees a guy/girl flirt with you so he gets possessive and you start to tease him until he gets so mad he walks off and when he come back he teaches the reader who she belongs to
Requested by: ANON
Context: Emmett gets jealous when he sees you flirting with a cute boy at school and has to show his little lamb who she belongs too.
Warnings: SMUT!!! :D
Emmett wasn't one to get jealous very easy, especially when it came to you. You were already so infatuated with him that he didn't feel the need to worry about anyone taking you from him. But that didn't mean he wasn't just as infatuated with you as you were with him. He loved you; your quirky little dance whenever you got food, the way you would sing out words to him mid-sentence, the way you snorted when you laughed way too hard, or how you always seem to miss a step on the stairs when you go up them. It was the little things that he noticed about you every day that had him falling deeper and deeper for you.
But things gradually got different.
A new guy was in town, a very handsome and athletic guy who was in your gym class. He was always smiling at you and helping you off the ground whenever you fell. All the girls in your class were envious of you, because not only did you have the hottest guy in school as your boyfriend, but the newbie who was almost just as attractive was hitting on you.
Emmett stood at the gym doors watching you play basketball with a careful eye. He knew you would fall eventually and he wanted to watch it happen so he could pick on you later about it. You went to reach for the ball and one of the girls pushed you out of the way, making you fall backwards on your ass.
You groaned as you went to get up, but a strong hand encircled your upper arm.
"Are you alright?"
You looked up to see the new boy, James, smiling down at you and for a split second you forgot that you were in gym class.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Just sucks that I can't play one single sport without falling all the time." You said, shaking off the fall.
"Hey, it's all part of the sport. You got to fall a bunch of times before you learn how to not fall again." He said moving just a little closer to you. You felt eyes boring into the back of your head so you turned to peek over your shoulder and saw Emmett glaring at you two.
"Doesn't seem like your boyfriend is a big fan of me." James said.
You looked at Emmett confused and then realized that he was jealous. This was new, especially since he's never been jealous around you. As usual, you decided to see how far you could push it. Reaching up to touch James' arm, you gently brushed your fingers across his bicep.
"Oh he'll get over it. He's not a fan of a lot of people. Especially ones who help his girlfriend out on a daily basis." You said flashing your best smile. James couldn’t help but push a strand of your hair behind your ear and you knew that would send Em over the edge.
You turned to look at him but he was gone and you felt anxious the rest of class wondering what would happen after school.
The rest of the day flew by and you hadn't even caught of glimpse of your vampire anywhere. He usually walked you to your last class since his was right across the hall but he was nowhere to be found.
"Hey, Y/N, where is my brother?" Alice asked as she sat down next to you. Both of you had chemistry together and were inseparable during that class. Always talking and passing notes. Alice always knew when the teacher was going to call on both of you to answer so she was always one step ahead of the game.
"I don’t know," you said. "I saw him while I was in gym earlier but that was the last of it. Can't you see him?" You knew that Alice had visions but she just shook her head.
"No, I haven't gotten anything. I usually don't try to see the future for Em. He gets weirded out by it sometimes." She said. You laughed and looked at the door. You could usually see Emmett's classroom from where you were sitting but he didn't seem to be in there.
"Maybe he skipped out and went home." You said.
"Or maybe he's mad at you for flirting with the new boy." She said, poking your arm.
You rolled your eyes. "I was not flirting with him. I wanted to see how jealous I could make Em and then he disappeared and I haven't seen him since."
The rest of class went by and you were finally free. You walked to the parking lot to see Em leaning against your car.
"Oh, hey there big boy. Haven't seen you in a while." You walked up to give him a kiss and he deflected it. "Or not." You muttered as you rounded the driver side.
You felt a cool wind before you felt him behind you, pushing you against the car. His hands placed on either side of you and his mouth was at your ear, sending a cold shiver through your body. His frontside rubbing against your backside.
"We need to talk. I'm driving." He said as he whisked you into the passenger seat. He turned your car on and gunned the engine out of town.
The car filled with a deafening silence and the only sound was that of your heart. He never took his eyes off the road; one hand on the steering wheel, the other in a fist clenched at his mouth.
You sat in thought about how to break the silence. "Babe." You said. He didn't even acknowledge that you said anything. You sighed and turned to look out the window as the trees blurred past you in a dangerous speed.
Before you knew what was going on, you were parked in a field. Emmett had gotten out of the car and was walking humanly slow around the side to your door. He helped you out of the car and then walked off into the field where a big boulder was sat in the middle.
A loud crack filled the sky before you saw the boulder split into two. Emmett had punched it and was staring directly at you now. You blinked once and he was right in front of you, angry.
You felt fear rise into your throat but you knew he wouldn't hurt you. He grabbed you and pulled you to the rock where he pinned you to the smoother part with his body.
Taking both of your hands and raising them above your head, he leaned in and brushed his lips along your jaw. "You think it's funny to flirt with someone in front of me?" He asked, his breath cool on your skin making your inner fire soar.
He took his free hand and wrapped it lightly around your throat, giving it a bit of a squeeze before looking right into your eyes. "Well I guess I'll have to teach my little lamb who she really belongs to, now don't I?" He said before he kissed you.
His lips were like ice against your very hot ones. His command to keep your arms above your head sent chills through your body and you stayed in the position that he put you in. He left trails of ice on every inch that he touched, gradually taking off your clothes though he did it without even trying. Hands travelled every inch of your burning body, whimpering for more only to be shushed by lips against yours.
"Does my little lamb want to be devoured by the big bad wolf?" Emmett growled and you nodded fervently. He returned to his task at hand watching you wiggle and squirm as he kissed down your body stopping just above your sex.
"Let's see how wet this little lamb is." He said, dragging your panties down your legs. You knew how wet you were. When Emmett would get angry with his brothers, he would always have angry sex with you which was some of the best sex you guys would have.
He turned you around and slid his dick between your legs, pushing gently against your entrance. "Oh you're very wet," He said kissing your neck, "and very warm." As he said that, he thrusted his full length into you, driving you to gasp and scream his name.
It was good thing you were both fucking out in the middle of a field because the way he was fucking you had you screaming every time he thrusted.
"You belong to me, babe. No one else. All of you belongs to me." He said, biting your shoulder and pushing deeper into you. You felt your high coming before you could react to him and you came undone, him still thrusting inside of you. Everything beame sensitive and you felt your body crumble beneath him. He slowed only for a moment to catch you and then continued. It didn’t take him long to finish inside of you.
He held you in his arms as you tried to catch your breath. Gently getting you cleaned up and dressed, he carried you back over to your car and set you inside. "You can't go home like that babydoll, so you're coming back to my place."
You just nodded and closed your eyes, unbeknownst that you had fallen asleep. When you had awoken, you were lying in Emmett's room. Arctic Monkeys was playing softly in the background and you knew that he was happy again.
"Hello beautiful." He said, running his hands through your hair.
"I love you Em." You said. "No one will ever take your place. Not now, not ever." That's all you wanted to say to him.
"I love you too princess." He kissed your forehead as Mad Sounds played throughout the room, leaving you in bliss.
A/N: Happy New Year to you all!! I hope that this year brings many good things to you. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Jason and Billy are the first to arrive. Billy sits in the passenger seat of his Mom's van whilst Jason drives. Jason patiently listens as Billy recites their itinerary and they pull into the school parking lot.
He unlocks his phone to check the time, sighing when he sees several messages (mostly from Zack.) He decides to open Kim's message first.
  Kimberly [received at 8:35am]:
On our way. We're bringing donuts, won't be long x
He sends a thumbs up back before moving onto the spam of messages he has from Zack.

Trini hit me. *crying emoji*
Jason can't help but smile at the image, pocketing his phone as he waits. Billy quietly rambles, going over the plan and showing Jason his blue colour coded map.
"My dad used to make maps like this." He happily chimes, shaking the map in emphasis.
Jason smiles softly, content in his friend's happiness. "Your maps are great Billy."
"I made sure to include food places. See on Zack's map I circled the hot dog stand and- and on Kimberly's map I highlighted a cafe that sells pizza, I noticed that Kimberly really likes pizza. Though she often steals from Trini who acts mad but I don't think she minds."
Jason nods along, noting how Billy perks up when he sees the others approaching. They can both see Trini and Zack shoving one another as they walk, Kim close by Trini's other side rolling her eyes at the pair and their antics. Jason gets out of the van to take the box of half-eaten donuts in Kim's hand and the sound of squabbling fills his ears.
"You're such a fucking moron." Trini snaps, shoving Zack slightly harder.
"Don't be such a sourpuss." he teases, ruffling her hair as she practically snarls in response.
Zack grins pulling a face at Trini as she grumbles. He goes to follow her but Jason's hand on his shoulder instantly stops him.
"It's early, give it a rest eh Zack." Jason cautions, hoping that he didn't sound too strict and instantly relaxing when Zack only rolls his eyes before smirking.
"Aye Aye Captain." He raises his hand in a mock salute winking at the red ranger before moving around the car to say hello to Billy.
Jason coughs quickly getting in the car so that Kim can't see his deep pink blush - she would never stop teasing him. He convinces himself she didn't notice though the giggling between the two girls tells him otherwise.
"Hi guys." Billy waves at the other three, clapping his hands excitedly as they get in the car.
There's a bit of huffing as Trini and Zack start to trade insults back and forth, resulting in Trini almost thumping Zack. Kim decides to play peacemaker and sits between them as they clamber into the back seats.
Zack already has his phone out, using the camera as a mirror as he starts to fix his hair.
"It still looks a mess." Trini sneers.
Zack scoffs, clutching his hand in mock offence. "Excuse you, I am a queen."
She sniggers shaking her head at his dramatics before nudging Kim and turning her attention back to her girlfriend. Kim smiles at her letting their fingers brush against the other as Trini's other hand untangles her earphones. They each have one and the music is already blasting before the car has even set off.
Jason starts the drive, it's peaceful for a few moments - all of them content in their own little worlds; that is until Zack starts on his snapchat shenanigans and suddenly the van is filled with his loud voice as he poses for the camera.
"For all my fans out there, it's your boy Zack recording live from this lame ass van." At Billy's little offended noise, he quickly adds a "No offence Billy."
"He's such an ass." Trini mutters as Kim hums her agreement. Which is a bad move because Zack then turns his attention to her.
"You gotta take selfies with me Kimmy." He cajoles.
"I'm busy Zack." She answers with a sigh but then he starts in with the pleading and she knows she's going to crack.
"Come on, pleeease. You know pink and black are the best colours. Plus, we are both looking hella fine today," he bumps her shoulder, waving the phone in her face and finally she relents with a small smile.
"Did you just say hella?" Kim laughs as he grins in victory.
"You're damn right I did. Now smile Princess."
Kim feels her heart warm at the familiar nickname, it's one that both Trini and Zack deemed appropriate and they insist on calling it her at any given opportunity.
"We look so good! Yo Crazy Girl you need to get in a picture with us."
Trini glances at them for all for a second before she's snatching the other earphone from Kim and resting her head against the window, eyes closed completely missing the matching pouts that Zack and now Kim sport.
  "W O W. Rude."
                                                              ....
"Again?! We've already stopped twice." Jason complains as he pulls in at a gas station. The car hasn't even stopped before Trini is darting out with Kim hot on her heels.
"Get me snacks!" Zack hollers to Kim's fleeting form.
When he only receives her flipping him off he huffs, removing his seatbelt and swiftly exiting the car.
"Zack get back in the car!" Jason calls after him in exasperation. To which Zack ignores him as per usual.
Jason rests his head against the steering wheel, already losing patience. It's Billy's voice that pulls him out of his funk.
"We've driven exactly 16 miles, which means that we should arrive at around 10 past. We have 17 more miles to go." Billy explains.
"Yeah I got that Billy." Jason doesn't mean to sound so short with him but he's tired and the others are taking their damn sweet time so he's cranky. He doesn't even look at Billy, eyes closed as he thumps his head against the wheel - he instantly regrets it when his head hurts, his hand moving to rub circles over his sore temple.
"If we keep to the speed limit then-"
Jason cuts him off with a tired wave of his hand. "Not now Billy."
It's quiet for a while but then Billy is speaking and this time his words make Jason lift his head, looking at his friend in shock as Billy continues.
"I know you wanted to get there fast and stopping is annoying but shouldn't we just focus on spending time together. Everyone is having fun, even Trini is smiling. You've been saying that we needed a break and I like that we can all relax."
Billy shuffles the papers again, looking back at Jason with a small smile which he instantly returns. Glad that Billy was there to remind him of what's important.
"You're right Billy." He hesitantly moves his hand to rest on Billy's forearm waiting for the little nod before actually touching him. "We're cool."
Suddenly the back door is opening, Kim slides in first and then Trini. She speaks first with a simple. "Billy is cool."
"But you, not so much." Kim adds directing a teasing smile Jason's way just as Zack struggles to open the door, armed with enough candy to feed an entire football team.
"Should we help him?" Billy offers.
He receives three unanimous no’s in response.
After almost dropping several packets of cookies Zack finally manages to open the door, clumsily dropping most of the treats into Kim's lap as he clicks his seatbelt into place.
"Got you something J Man." Zack flings a packet of red Twizzlers at Jason's head, smiling when Jason turns at the last minute and with lightning speed precision catches the packet with two fingers.
"Thanks man." The two share a small smile before Jason addresses all of them. "Alright, let's go and have a great day!"
When he starts the van again it's full of chatter, Trini's headphones now rest around her neck and Jason catches her watching Zack and Kim sing with a fond smile. Billy drums his hands against the dashboard in time to their song with a content smile on his face. Kim's voice is so beautifully in key whereas Zack's is a mess of loud and over-enthusiastically trying to reach all the higher notes.
Trini hums along as Kim and Zack start getting more into the song, singing the lyrics and pointing to one another.
  "I'm too hot," Kim starts.
  "Hot damn." Zack echoes.
"Called a police and a fireman,"
"I'm too hot, hot damn." They both sing looking at one another with matching grins.
The rest of the journey is the two performing each new song with as many self-assured smiles and over the top gestures but it keeps them all entertained and by the time they reach the theme park gates all of them are singing along to a Disney medley that Zack insisted they sing because "come on, you're Princess Kimberly for fuck's sake."
                                                             ....
It would have been okay - all they had to do was find a parking spot which was simple in theory but when five people all start talking over one another it suddenly becomes the most complicated problem in history.
"Dude there was a spot right there." Zack complains.
"Jason, there are two spots in front of you and you also missed the three empty spots to our right." Billy points out.
"I can see that Billy." Jason retorts, trying his best to ignore them as he moves towards one of the empty spots only to get cut off by a silver sports car swerving in before he can get there.
"MOTHERFU-" he trails off, shaking his head as he moves towards a different spot.
"Could you drive any slower?!" Kim groans as Jason ever so slowly starts to back into the spot.
"Moooove it!" Zack drawls the word out. It takes him a second to realise how it sounds, it's when he catches Trini's eye that he starts to cackle. The two of them sniggering and making obnoxious cow noises as Kim bites her lip to stop her own laughter from bubbling out.
"Really funny guys." Jason huffs as their laughter gets louder. "You want to shut up so I can concentrate?!"
"Oh, now he wants to concentrate." Trini mutters just loud enough for the other two to hear her.
"Yeah let him concentrate, it must be so hard to park the damn car." Kim snaps.
"If you think you can do a better job then maybe you should drive Kim." Jason fires back, shooting her a glare through the mirror.
Kim raises her eyebrow in challenge, moving her fingers to release her seatbelt.
"Kimberly, you shouldn't take your seatbelt off until we've stopped." Billy reminds her, a hint of concern edged in his tone.
"She's not taking it off Billy." Trini insists, giving Kim a disapproving stare.
Jason resists the urge to respond with a snarky comment and after more manoeuvring (whilst he ignores Zack and Kim's moaning) he finally brings the car to a halt, parking it almost perfectly - apart from one of the back tyres sticking out.
  "Finally!"
They all clamber out of the car, Zack and Kim still bitching about Jason's driving skills. Jason coughs loudly shooting them both a glare before responding.
"I got us here, didn't I? If it wasn't for Trini's weak bladder we would have gotten here earlier."
"Way to throw me under the bus there, White Boy." There's no real malice behind her words but she can't help but smile when he has the decency to look guilty.
"Just face it Jace, you drive slower than a snail." Kim counters, moving to wrap her arm around Trini's shoulder.
"I bet the stolen cow was faster." Zack quips, smirking as Jason clenches his fist in response.
"Shut up Zack!" Jason shoves him.
Zack steps closer, stopping with his face a few centimetres away from Jason's, his brown eyes burning into Jason's as he speaks or rather challenges, "You gonna' make me?!"
The two glare at one another, silently daring the other to make a move.
"Guys don't," Trini objects moving to place herself in the middle. Zack goes to push her out of the way but Kim is faster, her hand on his arm makes him freeze.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." She warns, holding his gaze as she stands protectively in front of Trini.
"Please don't fight." Billy pleads, eyes frantically darting between Kim, Zack and Jason.
"Sorry Billy." Jason speaks first, moving away from Zack as he shoots an apologetic smile Billy's way.
"I'm sorry too man." Zack relents even though he directs his attention more towards Trini. She nods her understanding and he visibly relaxes.
"I'm going to go get the tickets, Billy why don't you come and help?" Kim suggests, relief instantly washes over Billy's face as he nods, eager to get away from the tension. She continues pointing at Zack and then at Jason, "try not to kill one another. Don't make us revoke your tickets."
With that she turns and heads to the ticket desk, Billy following closely behind. There's an awkward silence that falls when they leave and Trini's left staring between the two boys as they stubbornly refuse to look at one another. After another minute of the silence surrounding them Trini decides to break the silence.
"God you guys are such children."
Her arms go to her hips (her stance reminding her of the way Kim addresses them all when she's annoyed) only continuing when she's satisfied their attention is on her.
"I can feel the sexual tension between you two from here, maybe if you just admitted it we wouldn't have to watch you guys fight like idiots."
Both of their eyes widen, Jason's face flushing a deep red whilst Zack's mouth falls open comically wide. They both stutter for a good few moments and Trini can't help but smile finally managing to render them both speechless.
"Alright, now stop with this macho crap. I may be small but don't doubt that I won't beat both your asses if you don't stop acting like a bunch of babies."
They both stare at her with a mixture of awe and a hint of fear knowing how serious Trini can get. With a sigh Jason turns to Zack, eyes full of remorse as he speaks - his voice much softer than before.
"Trini's right. I'm sorry for shoving you."
"It's cool man it didn't even hurt." Zack brushes it off with a wave of his hand, a small smile appearing when Jason laughs at his comment. "I'm sorry too. You know how much I respect you, right?"
  "Yeah I do."
Zack's smile is softer this time and Trini think that if she weren't there they might kiss, except she is there and she'd rather not be left to awkwardly watch as the two resolve the obvious tension between them. She clears her throat and the two seem to snap out of it, turning back to her with grateful looks. The three start to engage in conversation about which rides they're most looking forward to when Billy and Kim return holding five tickets.
"What took you guys so long?" Jason enquired.
"The guy at the counter was very talkative. Kimberly asked for the tickets and then he told her that he liked her shirt and kept asking her questions and when he finally handed her the tickets he asked for her phone number." Billy explains, blissfully unaware of the side eye Kim is giving him.
She glances back at Trini whose eyes have narrowed to perfect slits, her jaw tightened as she looks past her girlfriend staring at the guy gawking at Kim from the desk. The sight of him openly staring at Kim sets her teeth on edge and before she can stop herself she closes the distance, standing on her tiptoes as she cups Kim's face and crushes their lips together. Kim mumbles something against her mouth startled for all of a few seconds before she reciprocates and kisses back with just as much passion. Trini is aware that the boys are still there but all she can think about is how soft Kim's lips are and how Kim's hands lace down to the small of her back. It's only when Kim nips at Trini's lower lip eliciting a quiet moan that she remembers their surroundings and pulls back. Kim chases her lips pouting when Trini steps back, both of their cheeks flushed as they look around at the awkward expressions on Jason and Billy's faces. Zack gives them a smug grin, raising his hands in mock surrender when Trini goes to whack the back of his head.
"Shall we go in?" Jason motions to the gates. They all smile when Billy claps his hands and practically skips to the gates leaving them all to trail after him.
After several debates over which ride to start with Billy handed the group their individual maps, they all wait patiently as he starts to explain.
"I mapped everything out for us. This park has 40 rides in total, 10 prize stalls and 7 different places for food. We need to start here," he points to a small doodle of a boat located at the top of his map before pressing on, "after the pirate ship we follow the path round to the rocket ship, the walk should take us precisely 2 minutes and 12 seconds."
Billy starts to recite the rest of the plans for the day in excruciating detail, Jason is quick to jump in effectively stopping Billy's rambling with a reassuring smile. "That's really helpful, thanks Billy."
Billy nods and with that they calmly start their journey to the first ride but as soon as they see the short queue waiting for them their walk turns into a light jog. They all sport matching excited grins as they wait in line. Billy bounces on the balls of his feet waiting eagerly in anticipation, and Zack lets out loud whooping noises as they reach the front of the line. The ride comes to a stop and the second the gate opens Zack is making a mad dash for the back seat dragging a helpless Trini (who in turn drags Kim) with him. Billy races after them happily sitting beside Kim with Trini and Zack on her left. Jason sits on Billy's other side smiling when he wiggles, clapping as the bar slowly slides down signalling the start of the ride.
"Jason! Jason it's starting!" he exclaims tapping Jason's shoulder enthusiastically.
Despite the ride being somewhat tame Jason can't help but laugh as Zack starts to whoop, screaming far too loudly to be genuine. Billy cheers beside him smiling when he catches Jason's eye. Jason looks over to Kim smirking when she tries to hide her bored expression with a toothy grin. Trini doesn't cheer but she has a content smile as Kim wraps an arm around her shoulder and kisses the top of her head. The sight of his fellow rangers so relaxed assures Jason he made a wise choice in giving them the day off.
When the ride finally stops they rush off in an excited mess, this time it's Trini who points out the next ride; her hand intertwining with Kim's as she pulls them towards the waiting area. The boys aren't far behind and as soon as the line fades they all run in different directions grinning as they jump into the aeroplanes with their respective ranger colour. The ride starts and each time they dive up and down spinning round they smile at one another, sharing their perfectly private in-joke. As the ride spins around once more Zack catches Jason's eye pointing towards a ride in the distance with a huge grin.
"THAT'S OUR NEXT RIDE!" Zack hollers over the ride music.
Jason follows his finger pointing, turning to look at which ride Zack is pointing at. The ride had two rows of seats and proceeded to drop and swing, stopping once and then twice over little spouts of water, making sure that anyone in the front row got splashed. Upon seeing the dangerously daring dip the ride took he gulps, flashing Zack a shaky smile as he tries to hide his apprehension. It doesn’t help that after the ride ended Kim and Trini decide to give it a miss promising to take pictures instead.
Kim smiles as Trini stood on her tiptoes using Kim's shirt to pull her down, their faces inching closer and then their lips were brushing against one another's and all thoughts of taking pictures soon left Kim's mind. Using a little burst of ranger strength, she spun them around gently pushing Trini into the nearest fence, fingers tangling in soft tresses as they continue to kiss softly, there was no rush or pressure and Kim loved that she could simply be with her girlfriend and no one batted an eyelid (well at least out there school was a completely different story). They start to get lost in one another when a piercing scream breaks their spell, both pulling back to see Jason screaming as the ride plummeted down, beside him Billy has his hands over his ears and Zack hysterically laughing as Jason clutches onto the safety bar as though his life depends on it.
"We should have gotten this on camera," Trini whispers to herself.
"One step ahead of you babe." Kim nudges her girlfriend and flashes her a smug smile before turning her attention back to her phone, zooming in as the ride swings down and Jason gets a face full of water.
The two lose it when he lets out another deafening scream and when he trudges back to them with shaky legs and damp hair they can't contain their laughter. Jason huffs as Trini, Kim and Zack snigger, replaying the video of him screaming on a loop. He finally begins to laugh along when even Billy can't stop a smile forming, all five of them giggling as they make their way to the next ride.
                                                            ....
Everything has been going great - they have been on lots of rides already and they are all having a good time, no one has been severely traumatised yet but then the log flume happens and Trini is slowly losing patience. The queue had taken quite some time to die down and she was getting grumpy, though it doesn't last long not when Kim kisses her and holds her hand but then they make it to the front and the arguing commences.
"I am not sitting in the front!" Kim snaps.
"Aw come on you have to." Zack pleads.
"Why don't you sit in the front?!" Kim retorts, folding her arms.
"Zack is sitting in front of me." Jason cuts in, stepping back when Kim shoots him a frosty glare.
"Maybe I could sit at the front and then Kimberly could next and then Trini and-" Billy starts to ponder out loud, none of them really listening to him as they continue to talk over one another.
"You're such a baby Kimmy, come on take one for the team." Zack teases.
Kim's eyes narrow and then Jason is holding her waist to stop her lunging at Zack.
"Get off! Put me down Scott."
Jason shakes his head making sure she is way out of Zack's range before releasing her. Kim scowls at him before turning her attention back to her girlfriend, her brows furrowing in confusion as she sees Trini stepping into the front of the ride.
  "What are you doing Trin?"
"Waiting for you losers to get in already." Trini bites back staring at them all expectantly.
They quickly spring into action, Billy pausing to shoot an apologetic smile towards the park worker controlling the ride. With a little pushing and shoving they clambered in behind Trini. Kim wraps her arms around Trini's waist, letting her chin rest on Trini's shoulder as she places a feather light kiss to Trini's neck. Trini hums in response, chuckling when Zack starts chanting as the ride started.
"My butt's all wet." Zack complains.
"That's why it's called a log flume you idiot." Kim fires back, smiling when she hears Trini coughing to cover up her laugh.
His complaining morphs into excited whooping as they slowly make their ascent and then they are racing down, all of them cheering as they plummet down and a rush of water crashes over them. Zack cackles as the water attacks Trini the most, drenching her from head to toe whilst the rest of them manage to survive with minimal damage. He regrets laughing when they get off and Trini proceeds to shake her dripping hair at him. Her attack halts when she hears a clicking sound, pivoting around to see Kim trying to subtly slide her phone back into her pocket.
  "KIM!"
Her hands are on her hips as Kim starts to back up holding her hands up in mock surrender as Trini levels her with a fierce glare.
"It's not m-my fault that you look so c-c-ute." Kim stutters out, hoping the compliment would soothe her girlfriend's rage. It does nothing, especially not when she can't resist teasing "my drowned grumpy cat."
Her eyes widen as Trini lets out a growl and then she's running as fast as she can or well as fast as regular humans can.
"Oh yeah you better run Princess!" Trini shouts, speeding past the boys as she chases after Kim.
                                                             ....
The boys watch as Trini and Kimberly disappear amongst the sea of people in front of them.
"Should we go after Trini and Kimberly?" Billy asks.
Jason smiles but shakes his head.
"I think they'll be okay Billy. We can meet them for lunch."
Billy perks up after that, walking contently beside Jason with Zack on his other side. It's quiet and they enjoy a comfortable silence for a few minutes - until Zack sees the bright flashing lights and his face lights up like a Christmas Zord. He continues to grin, wiggling his eyebrows as they walk towards a prize stall section of the park.
Jason can instantly see what has captured Zack's attention and it's almost second nature for him to fix Zack with a stern look, shaking his head disapprovingly.
  "NO."
"I didn't even say anything." Zack huffs.
"You didn't have to. I know you and the answer is no." Jason points out earning an eye roll from Zack.
"Dude you are zero fun today," Zack whines adding in a pout for good measure.
"Why is Jason zero fun?" Billy questions.
Zack throws another dirty look Jason's way and then turns to talk to Billy.
"You'd let me play some games, right Billy?" he tilts his head and starts to flutter his eyelashes, stopping when Billy only blinks at him in response.
"I can't make your decisions for you so if you wanted to play some games I wouldn't stop you."
"and that is why you're my favourite B."
Billy smiles watching as Zack scampers off towards the first stall.
"Alright, I guess one game wouldn't hurt." Jason relents, trailing after Zack's giddy form.
                                                         ....
"Are you going to pout all day Princesa? Trini asks barely able to keep the amusement from her tone.
Beside her Kim stands with her arms folded looking at her girlfriend with disdain.
"I can't believe you would do that to me." Kim exaggerates, looking down at her now damp appearance with an unimpressed pout.
Trini smirks rolling her eyes at her girlfriend's dramatics.
"It was only a hug." she shrugs.
"You shook your hair water all over me!"
Kim continues to pout as Trini laughs, moving to wrap her arms around Kim's waist and hug her from behind. Kim's pout soon turns into a soft smile, unable to stay upset when Trini is willingly hugging her.
"Alright," Kim hums "but you better win me a prize."
"If I say yes, will you stop pouting at me?” Trini asks.
"Probably not." She answers with a smug grin, already knowing she's won.
                                                           ....
Zack shrugs his jacket off carelessly tossing it on the floor; wiping his forehead as he marches to the next stall with determination. Billy hastily grabs the jacket dusting it off before he joins Zack and Jason by the ring toss booth.
The guy manning the booth doesn't look up, too engrossed with his phone to really pay attention. He briefly looks up when Billy gives a polite cough, giving the three of them a once over before placing five rings in front of Zack as Jason begrudgingly hands him the money.
"Piece of cake," Zack declares ignoring Jason’s scoff as he prepares for his first shot.
It misses the pins and bounces off the counter.
Zack puffs his chest and shrugs, "Nobody gets it on the first try."
Jason smirks pretending to humour him as he pulls his arm back and flings the next ring. Again, it misses as does the next attempt.
Zack folds his arms starting to size up the pins. Jason laughs pushing his friend out of the way as he grabs one of the two remaining rings.
  "Watch and learn."
He lets the ring glide with a confident smile, watching with a smug grin as it falls back down - only to miss the pin by mere centimetres.  His face falls as Zack laughs a little too hard.
"Oh, I'm sorry was I supposed to be impressed?!"
"Shut up," Jason mumbles trying to hide his embarrassment and the fact the tips of his ears had started to go pink.
"Why don't you make me?" Zack fires back with a flirtatious eyebrow wiggle causing the red ranger to flush brighter than his suit as he stumbles over his words.
"Well m-maybe I m-m-might, if you'd like that I mean- what?! I wouldn't like that, why are you staring?"
Zack smiles at the boy's rambling stepping a little closer. Their eyes drift down to one another's lips and for a second they start to lean closer but then Billy is clapping excitedly and they snap back to reality. Their jaws dropping as Billy jumps up and down pointing eagerly to the only pin with a ring successfully around it.
"Holy shit Billy you did it!" Zack is too much in awe to be mad and Jason has a proud smile. All three turn to the booth worker expectantly.
"These games are hard better look next time," He says in a monotonous voice without looking up.
"Well it's a good job we won, then isn't it?!" Zack boasts unable to keep the smug tone from his voice.
"So, our friend would like his prize now," Jason finishes, completely ignoring the guy's shocked expression as he turns to look at Billy. "Which prize do you want Billy?"
Billy's eyes light up already knowing which one they needed to have. The other two can't contain their smiles when Billy is given his toy hugging it close to his chest as they walk away.
"This will go great in our ship!" Billy whisper-yells and Jason can't help but agree, looking down at the donut toy clutched in Billy's hand and being reminded of how fitting it is, so he smiles at his friend and nods in agreement happy that at least one of them won a prize (though he is a little bitter that his aim was so skewed).
When the boys see the girls again none of them can contain their laughter at the sight before them: Kim walking with a victorious expression as a giant tiger toy follows her - they could only see Trini's legs as she tries to navigate her way towards them clutching the tiger which was nearly as big as her whole body. Jason tries to stifle his laughter but Zack erupts almost falling over as he completely loses it, tears streaming down his reddening cheeks as he cackles each bubble of laughter getting louder as Trini gets closer and closer.
"Has anyone seen Trini?" Zack grins when he hears a muffled grumble from behind the tiger.
"Woah there she is! She looks different don't ya think?" Zack continues his teasing. "Actually, now that I think about it she looks a little fluffier."
"That's because Trini is holding a large stuffed animal." Billy points out.
"It was a joke Billy." Jason sighs.
Seeing Billy's frown in response Kim moves closer loosely wrapped her arm around his shoulders, nudging him playfully as she speaks "Don't worry billy, Zack is awful at making jokes."
After he gives her a small smile she turns to the other two boys folding her arms and fixing them with a pointed look. The boys meet Kim's eyes and instantly know that they have messed up, nothing can compete with her "mum mode". Satisfied that they look sufficiently chastised she moves on.
"Is anyone else hungry?" Kim asks receiving three nods and a quiet 'yes' from Trini.
Without waiting she turns on her heel walking straight ahead, smiling to herself when she hears footsteps quickly following. She doesn't have to look to know 3 out of 4 rangers are walking with grumpy expressions - Billy walks a few steps behind her with a peaceful smile. It doesn't take him long to close the distance and then his arms are around her, if Kim is surprised by the action she doesn't show it; letting herself sink into Billy's arms with a content sigh. He whispers a soft "thank you" and then lets her go happily walking beside her as she gives him a loving smile.
By the time they reach the food section, their spirits have perked up again even Trini who had somehow managed to get Jason to take pity on her struggling form and is now tiger-free holding Kim's hand whilst Jason struggles not to drop the stupidly large tiger toy.
"What do you guys want to eat?" Kim asks, rolling her eyes when everyone answers at once. "Geez one at a time please. What do you want to eat T?"
"Sure. Ask your girlfriend first," Zack whines holding his hands in mock surrender when Trini glares at him.
"Hot dogs are good," Trini suggests immediately regretting it when Zack starts talking.
"Hell yes. I never doubted you Crazy Girl, you totally read my mind! This is why we're besties." He exclaims bounding over to Trini and squeezing his way between her and Kim so he can wrap an arm around Trini's shoulder.
Kim gives him a disgruntled look throwing her hands up in defeat as she moves to stand with Billy. Quick to make sure no tempers rise again Jason offers to buy the food taking Billy; stopping to rescue Trini from Zack's excitable clutches and pulling Zack with them by his collar - he couldn't risk Kimberly killing the boy. Kim watches as Jason manoeuvres the tiger in one hand whilst gently pushing Zack forward pointing to the hot dog stand with the other, she can't help but smile when she sees Billy pointing to the menu and doing his happy clap as Jason and Zack nod along. It's Trini's voice that snaps her out of her daze.
"Planning on joining me anytime soon Princess?" The soft husk in Trini's tone never fails to make Kim blush, the colour of her cheeks almost the same as her ranger suit.
Kim lets Trini pull her towards an empty picnic bench sitting down together - well Trini sat down Kim lay with her head in Trini's lap; eyes closed as Trini rubs her forehead.
  "You okay?"
Kim hums in response relaxing under Trini's touch as nimble fingers trace patterns across her temple.
"You're coming on the rollercoaster with me, right?"
Again, she receives a simple hum and as Kim's breathing evens out Trini realises just how tired her girlfriend looks, she files it as a mental note to make sure Kim gets some rest on the drive back. In the meantime, she'll just have to keep her energised, with a smile she starts to lean down her lips ghosting Kimberly's as the table suddenly becomes a lot louder. Trini pulls back with a frustrated huff as Jason gives her a sheepish smile, offering a hot dog to make up for the interruption. Kim opens her eyes pouting up at Trini who gestures to the boys with her hot dog, smiling around a mouthful when Kim doesn't even try to hide her disappointment grumpily snatching one of the many hot dogs left.
Zack catches Trini's eye and then he's moving the drinks out of the way.
"What's going on?" Billy asks looking at Kim who shakes her head at the two of them.
"They're being idiots again." she answers taking another bite of her food as they watch Zack and Trini size one another up; Trini cracks her knuckles as Zack sits up straighter.
"You'll be sick," Kim warns but neither of them listen to her.
"Give us an intro Jace." Zack bats his eyelashes smiling when Jason starts to speak.
"Ladies, gentleman and others today is a very special event. We have two great contenders competing for the grand prize of- um...a sense of pride."
At Trini's scoff and Zack's disappointed look he quickly continues. "I mean for the prize of $5-"
"That's more like it!" Zack interrupts "Billy, if you'd do the honours my man."
Billy quickly sorts the remaining hot dogs into two piles setting them in front of Trini and Zack. Once they are evenly set up Jason resumes his commentary.
"In the left corner we have the boy in black, reigning champion of the last three pie eating contests it's Zack attack."
Zack starts to chant for himself nodding his head to an imaginary beat and waving his hands to greet his non-existent fans. Jason laughs and rambles on.
"-and in the right corner we have the lightning bolt herself, the ultimate underdog and today's challenger it's Queen T!" At this point Jason is using his water bottle as a microphone and their table has more than a few eyes staring.
"Who's on the timer?" Trini questions.
"I've got it," Kim says with a reluctant sigh, sometimes she wonders why she's friends with this rag-tag bunch of weirdos but then Zack's cheeks are puffing out like a hamster as him and Trini speed eat at least ten hot dogs and she wonders how she ever managed without them.
                                                           ....
Kim did warn them which was why it was her idea to go on the teacup ride directly after lunch. Trini at least lasted the whole ride before running to the nearest trashcan, Zack on the other hand threw up after the ride had made its first turn, spewing multicoloured chunks on an innocent 5-year old in the next cup. The child's parents were definitely not impressed and Zack spent a good half an hour hiding in the arcades just to avoid their wrath. So that’s how they end up near the performer's stage, music blasting and soft singing or it would have been soft singing and dancing had it not been for Zack's need to outperform the actual paid performers.
They try to stop him but none of them could beat Zack's shoulder shimmy as he jumps up and starts to copy the dancers. Trini has her face buried in her hands groaning from the sheer embarrassment as Kim and Jason try to pull him back down. As if his dancing wasn't bad enough he starts to sing at full volume attracting an audience of concerned families covering their ears as he continues to screech over the performers.
"Zack just be quiet." Jason whisper-yells but of course Zack ignores him as he starts moving his hips so wildly that they are afraid he might break them.
"You're just jealous because I've got sick moves." Zack retorts shimmying his way past them as he gets closer to the stage.
Kim and Jason look at one another with matching mortified expressions, darting up in a frenzy to try and stop him from going any further. Trini and Billy follow unsure how to react. It's Trini that encourages Billy to capture the moment that Zack is dragged away by security guards (just as he's making his way onto the stage) on camera and it's Kim and Jason that manage to talk the guard into letting Zack go with just a warning. Jason manages to drag Zack away from the stage chastising the still giddy boy.
"Dude you can't just pull crap like that."
"I needed to express myself." Zack protests.
"Next time save the dancing for when you're with us, I'm pretty sure families paid to see the hired performers not your attempts at freestyle." Jason reiterates.
He instantly regrets it when Zack smirks, wrapping an arm around his shoulder as he implies "don't be jealous man, if you wanted a private show all you had to do was ask." Zack winks at a flustered Jason before strutting (yes, he actually struts) over to where Billy and Trini are stood waiting.
Kim's teasing lilt brings Jason out of his flustered state, "Red is really your colour Jace."
Needless to say, Jason blushes more after that.
Kim pays for that particular comment when Jason drags her onto the haunted house ride with him and Zack. She is sat in the middle and at first she's fine but then the ride starts and she instantly wants to get off. Jason sits smugly watching as Kim jumps at every little thing clinging onto him for dear life as Zack imitates her screams and tries to smack each skeleton that springs out at them.
"What's wrong Kim?" Jason asks with mock concern. She turns to glare at him but then a model ghost drops down from the ceiling just as they are turning the corner; Kim screams louder than before and Jason sits with the biggest grin on his face. Neither of them notice that Zack had been silent for a few minutes too long and just as they pass the camera flashing out of the corner of Jason's eye he sees Zack hastily pulling his pants back up.
Jason doesn't have to ask what Zack has done when he hears several giggles coming from the photo print desk. When they approach the desk Billy and Trini are already waiting, Jason can tell by the look on Trini's face that their photo must be interesting to say the least. As they look over the photos Jason's grin gets wider, beside him Kim groans as she takes in the sight of her face mid-scream as a plastic ghost sprung down. Zack cackles pumping his fist when he sees that the camera did in fact get him mooning right as the light flashed so now they could see his perfectly round ass glistening in the light. Jason was looking directly into the camera smiling like he's on The Office. All three of them speak at once with a mixture of pleased, disgusted and confused reactions.
"This is the best picture ever!" "Why does my face look like that?!" "Zack why?!"
"I'm buying 10 copies!" Zack announces starting to reach into his pocket when Kim slaps his arm and shrieks in response.
"Don't you dare! I look awful Zack!"
"I think you look terrifying," Billy says and it takes everything Kim has not to snap at him.
"Sick burn man!" Zack gives a confused Billy a high five and pushes Kim aside to talk to the man at the desk.
"this is the worst" Kim groans approaching Trini ready to hide forever when she sees the items in Trini's hand, her jaw dropping as she points helplessly.
"Please tell me you didn't," she pleads, practically begging Trini with her eyes.
"I just wanted some souvenirs, I figured they'd go great in the ship...or whatever." Trini tries to act nonchalant but the twitch of her lips gives her away.
"Traitors!" Kim gasps looking at them all with utter betrayal. "This is mutiny!"
All four of them laugh at her dramatic antics and despite some huffing and whining Kim eventually cracks a smile. They make it up to her by letting her pick the next ride and of course she picks the roller coaster.
                                                               ....
"Why is this line so long?" Zack complains for the fourth time since they entered the line.
"Lines are always long for roller coasters. The ride allows at least fifteen people to occupy and it would go on for around 5 to 10 minutes which means if we continue at this pace we should be at the front of the queue in precisely 51 minutes and 47 seconds." Billy explains, showing them his watch to emphasise his point.
Zack, Trini and Kim collectively groan as Jason gives them sympathetic smiles.
"Maybe we should just go on a different ride and-"
"We are not giving up!" Kim cuts Jason off with a snappy tone completely ignoring his hurt look and turning to address the others.
"Okay so this line isn't getting us anywhere," they grunt in agreement and she continues with determination "I have an idea."
Jason and Billy look on somewhat confused as Kim wraps her arms around Trini and Zack bringing them in for a weird huddle, Jason can hear her whispering something not fully sure what they were saying but when they pull apart with matching grins he knows their plan must be bad.
They stay content for a while the line doesn't move and then Zack is speaking.
"Yo Crazy Girl you might want to put that tiger in one of the lockers."
"Zack's right babe, they won't let you one the ride with it." Kim adds.
Trini nods with little reluctance and starts pushing her way past the crowd to find the exit, shouting "Save my spot!" back to them just as the line moves all of an inch forward and she disappears out of sight.
"What are you three up to?" Jason asks shooting Zack and Kim a suspicious look.
"Who us?" Kim replies clutching her chest as she flashes him an innocent smile.
Jason knows they are up to something - not that he can tell what exactly but he knows they are simply by the all too innocent smiles on Kim and Zack's faces. He's about to speak again when Billy reminds them how much time they have left showing Jason the time on his phone, at least he knows Billy would never participate in their silly shenanigans.
They are about a fifth of the way through the line, Trini has yet to reappear whilst Zack and Kim keep giving each other strange looks. Jason gives up trying to figure them out and instead engages in a conversation with Billy about the history of roller coasters; which is when Kim and Zack enter stage two of their plan. Within seconds Kim is engaging in the boy's conversation making sure to block Zack from sight.
"And so the riders would go down the slide crash landing in sand piles, they were called the Russian Mountains invented in the 16th and 17th centuries." Billy finishes as Jason smiles at him in awe.
"That's really cool Billy. Do you know any other facts?" Jason prompts.
"Woah that's really interesting Billy," Kim offers.
"I have more..." Billy continues to ramble on only stopping when Jason holds his hand up, his eyebrows raising as he looks around.
"Hang on a second," He surveys Kim's slight smile and looks at her expectantly "Where's Zack?"
Billy shrugs and looks at Kim, she smiles at him and then refocuses her attention to Jason. "I don't know where he is." That was true she technically didn't know where he had gone.
"Oh come on you're telling me that Zack and Trini both disappear and you have no idea where they are." He says incredulously.
"Trini went to put Kim's tiger toy away." Billy reminds him.
The line moves up a little and before Jason can interrogate her more she starts to speak or well bellow!
  "TRINI."
  "Kim what are you-"
"TRINI WHERE ARE YOU?!" she repeats it again and to Jason's shock she starts to push past people.
"Excuse me," she slides past a man motioning for Jason and Billy to follow her as she continues to shout out Trini's name.
  "TRINI!"
ohmygod  Jason mutters to himself her plan now becoming crystal clear.
"Excuse me, pardon me, coming through."
Kim takes charge ducking and darting through the crowd with Jason and Billy hot on her heels. Seeing Zack she smiles and quickens her pace, when they approach a cluster of girls she stops causing Jason to almost run into her. She stands with her hands on her hips glaring at Zack as she speaks.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
All the girls turn around revealing Zack standing in the middle with a guilty expression.
"Uhh hi Kim." Zack stutters which only serves to confuse Jason more.
"Don't you ‘hi Kim’ me. We were supposed to leave for dinner with my father an hour ago."
The girls look confused glancing back and forth between the two of them. One girl gaining some courage as she pipes up from behind Zack. "Who is this girl?" she was met with Kim's steely glare shrinking under the intensity.
"Who am I? I'm his girlfriend! Who the hell are you?"
"What on earth?" Jason squeaks out, wincing when Kim elbows him.
"You didn't tell us you had a girlfriend." Another girl huffs turning on Zack who starts to stutter out an explanation.
  "Well yeah I-"
"Make that ex." Kim spits out turning on her heal and marching off further forward in the crowd, every onlookers parting like the red sea - none of them wanting to get in the way of the visibly angry girl.
"Kim wait!" Zack pleads pushing past people to start chasing after her.
"Do you have any idea what's going on?" Jason asks Billy as they follow the others, he's surprised when he's met with a knowing smile confusing Jason further.
When they finally catch up with the others Jason notices they are almost to the front of the queue which is when he spots Trini waiting right at the front surrounded by several confused people stood behind her.
Kim flashes Jason a grin and then she's screaming Trini's name again only this time Trini is answering in the same loud manner.
  "TRINI?!"
"KIM I'M OVER HERE!" And then Trini waves in an uncharacteristically cheerful way and Jason must have gone insane because he has no idea what not being confused feels like.
The remaining people in front of them quickly dart out of the way as Kim rushes over to Trini and embraces her in a hug. Zack is next his hand reaching for Kim's shoulder and then she's hugging him too. They pull apart when Jason and Billy join them whilst the rest of the people in the queue look around dumbfounded at what just happened, not that they're sure what genuinely did happen.
"I cannot believe you guys just did that." Jason hisses loud enough for the others to hear, rolling his eyes when they exchange high fives.
"We're at the front, aren't we?!" Trini remarks as Jason shakes his head.
"Nice job at distracting him B." Zack says with a proud smile as Billy fist bumps him.
"Billy was in on it too?" Jason asks, surprise written across his face as they all beam and nod at him.
"Well...I've gotta say I'm impressed. Award winning performances."
Kim and Zack bow repeating 'thank yous' and the five of them laugh amongst themselves right until it's their turn on the coaster.
Despite the many signs saying not to run they couldn't help themselves cramming into the first row as they wait for the other rows to be filled. All of them scream as the ride dips and spirals down, though some more than others (Jason being the main culprit). Kim and Zack are having a wild time hooting and cheering as the intensity increases, Billy claps and wiggles around in his usual excited fashion and Trini though a lot quieter than the others still has a smile on her face - although when they reach the part where they sped inside the dark tunnel the guard rail may have become a little dented. Kim holds her hand and spends the rest of the ride repeating calming phrases and pressing soft kisses to her forehead.
It is an all-out war during the bumper cars. Zack had been the primary target but then several small children decided to insult them and they spend the rest of the time chasing them around and using their combined cars and strength to back the children into a corner. They all walk away with smug grins completely ignoring how they'd reduced a bunch of 8-year olds to tears.
After they were all pooped out Kim drags them to a photo-booth determined to get some new pictures for her room. It's not like any of them can resist the famous Kimberly Hart pout (Billy totally can but she said please and he will do anything to make his friends happy). The boys get shoved outside waiting for Kim and Trini to stop kissing long enough to retrieve their photos. They finally do when Billy suggests they buy ice-cream on their way out. How they all manage to get a flavour with the colour of their power coins is still a mystery, even Zack because "Licorice is the best flavour, you can have your boring lemon Trini!"
The sun is starting to set as they make their way through the car park, none of them remembering exactly where Jason parked the car. It takes them at least 20 minutes to find their spot but none of them care. The journey back is quieter, the soft hum of the radio the only sound audible. As promised Trini lets Kim sleep on her shoulder the stuffed tiger toy resting at her feet. Zack takes a picture of them and sets it as his contact photo, he really does love them but they don't need to know that. Billy sits in the front seat texting his Mom to inform her of the fun day out they had. There's country music playing on the radio and Billy claps quietly before resuming his text update. Jason has a content smile as he drives them back to Angel Grove. The sunset is a mixture of pastels and soft tones and as he looks through the mirror at his friends he's so glad he made the decision for a day out. He catches Zack's eye and the two share a smile and for the first time today Zack is the one who blushes looking away with unusual shyness. Jason turns his gaze to Trini who smiles mouthing a "you did good" before pressing a kiss to Kim's forehead and letting her eyes flutter shut and as Jason drives back into town listening to quiet snores and old country music he knows that he definitely did do good.
