Slay the Princess would format really well into a coffee shop AU, actually. The cyclical nature of the game -> cyclical nature of morning coffee run. Every day a variation of the same routine with different details, but the same outcome. The Princess is a prisoner of the minimum wage, wanting to realize her full potential but unable to leave. The Long Quiet shows up every day. He has the power as a customer to hurt her (be annoying/difficult). She has the power as the food worker to hurt him (ruin the coffee). Love/hate relationship that can exist between service worker and regular customer. The narrator is a Karen. Is this anything.

lindt is being sued in a class action in the united states because they are one of MANY brands of chocolate that tested high for heavy metals. and this is despite lindt claiming their chocolate is "expertly crafted with the finest ingredients". no recall was issued after the tests came out. lead and cadmium can fuck the body over BAD.

lindt's genius defense is that they are going to stop saying the whole thing about being expertly crafted with the finest ingredients, so nobody can complain about the heavy metals in their chocolate anymore! and that makes it okay. source: trust me bro

just finished watching mouthwashing, and it really stuck out to me how anya uses the phrase "our worst moments don't define us" as a coping mechanism for her trauma so she could still function in her role as the nurse on the ship; she literally made it as a way to soothe herself and so that she can bear the presence of the people who've hurt her.

meanwhile jimmy, just completely takes her coping mechanism for himself, and uses it as an excuse to keep on hurting the people around him. He refuses to take accountability or responsibility and uses the phrase to make himself feel better so he won't feel guilty about all the sins he's done.

long story short; fuck jimmy.
