What a #basketball season for the kids this year! Unfortunately Molly only got ½ a season before the ankle incident. She has been honing her skills, and the #ColtsBlueTeam really had a great season. She really puts in work and makes the shots look easy. She need to work on the hustle and avoiding injuries. Ian had a fantastic season as his skills are growing. Something clicked and dude is super quick on the court and working on perfecting those shots. #Shocks really started getting to look for each other and work as a team as the season wrapped up. Both kids having a blast and learning so much with lessons from Coach Rico (Molly is anxious to get back to it.) I am happy to see the friendships that stem from team sports too. Thanks to @cvsdintermediate, @cvsdcolts, @bethanypresbyworship, & @upwardsports for such great programs, and thanks to all the parents and coaches that made it all possible! I am glad the kids found something they love so much and are excelling in personal goals to get better. What a great season we had with #upwardsbasketball loved getting to spend time with amazing kids, share the word, and of course getting to do this all with my best friend was icing on the cake! Or rather blue and yellow cupcakes 😉 😄

We went for the season's basketball evals this morning and Logan got measured up, and I cannot believe that my 11y.o., my first born is already 5'4. We always knew he would be tall but damn. Only 3 more inches and he'll be taller than me. Noooo. It's too soon. His father is 6'4 but I think he will be taller than that. His great grandfather is 6'7. I definitely think he will be closer to that height. I'll save these pics and videos to look back on when he is in the MBA or NFL. Who know. Maybe the #Spurs . Just throwing out those positive affirmations now.
