so I finished side order recently

#splatoon #pearl houzuki #agent 8 #marina ida #acht mizuta #my stuff #inktober piece 2 :)#shoutout to my brother who reminded me i could replay the credits whenever because i had to get some extra refs for eight's model #and saved me from having to slog up the tower again #now if only splatoon could do that for every cutscene eh. please #i want to relive a lot of cutscenes and youre killing me for it splatoon #anyway did you know splatoon's official art has. well it wildly varies from piece to piece #they all follow like a very loose guidelines but also they all split off into their own things half the time #me with seven tabs of art trying to figure out if i want to do lines to separate pearl's fingers: so this one has lines but this one doesnt #'this one isnt relevant to this issue all fingers are splayed'#so in the end i just did whatever i wanted. i think that's a core tenet of art. do whatever you want. forever #also spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out what was etched into marina's headphones #im 98% sure it is the off the hook logo. but nothing save from booting up splatoon and checking myself would say for sure #and i didnt wanna boot up splatoon cause if i did then id inevitably be down a couple hours because 'oh well im here already. one run maybe'#but regardless!! im proud of how this came out even if i was supposed to have finished two days ago to keep with my schedule #especially the bg :) i think i did really good on that.#and eight's little smile i think thats the charm point of the whole piece and it took me about ten drafts to get it properly #i think i did good on that too.#im so enamored with splatoon rn help

Non exhaustive list of religious themes/motifs that are present in Hive/Hive and Daisy's relationship because I'm obsessed with them:

The fact that Hive is already borderline/full on revered as a god by members of Hydra in the know, not to mention that, while the Inhumans under his sway are technically chemically altered, they're also like. An actual cult.

Hive's weird pose that he does (that I swear he does more than once but I could only find screenshots of one example) ⬇️

Crosses being repeatedly associated with Daisy thinking she has to die for her sins ⬇️

pokemon: yeah, we've added more and more shiny locks to starters, legendaries, and mythicals bc we don't want players wasting hours and hours of their time in front of the screen not playing the game the way we want them to play it

also pokemon: let's start distributing shiny mythicals, but only after players have wasted hours and hours of their time catching/trading for every single pokemon for specific dexes, which means they'll also need to literally invest hundreds of dollars into a bunch of half finished games and their dlc's. that or they waste literal weeks of their time if its one of the shiny mythicals that are/have been distributed through Go through paid researches

#rah rambles about random crap don't mind her #comical that they pretend to give a shit abt players' time when they just find a different way to waste it #with the bonus of it actively benefitting them (the company) bc you have to buy the new games to get the shiny as a reward #the only one that isn't as obnoxious as it could be is shiny enamorous/getting pla's dex #but that's because catching every pokemon in that game is literally the fucking point lmao #but even THEN it's held back bc you still have to finish the damn thing #and if the mythicals are part of the requirement then a copy of sword/shield and bdsp is required by default lmao #either to activate the event in pla proper or to trade them over if you were able to play the events in bdsp while they were available #and don't get me started on how annoying setting up trades are these days #forced to do peer to peer if you don't want to give these people even MORE money just to have access to the gts through Home #idk. this wouldn't be nearly as annoying if they just gave people the option to just shiny hunt shit alongside this system #like. meloetta and enamorous and manaphy are all encounters in the games. why do they have to be shiny locked. it's so stupid man

today in the latest saga of "I do not experience stranger danger in person" a man knocked on my door to ask if the microwave by the curb outside worked and I told him to go get it and we'd take it inside my house to test it. he was polite if clearly a little shocked/flustered and as I sat on the ground microwaving a mug of water (to ensure it didn't just turn on but heated things as well) he asked with some amount of blustering and apology "how are you that thick without being fat?" which made me burst out laughing so. no matter how badly you feel about yourself, someone out there thinks you're impossibly attractive. thank you, complete stranger I voluntarily let into my house on a Sunday afternoon. I now have the emotional strength to eat dinner despite being a size 20.
