Tension Tuesday- number one spot for headaches (as I was taught in trigger point therapy) People will draw this pattern, too. “It starts here and goes up and around to the temple,” they say. However, from experience and practice and exploring beliefs/dogma, I don’t find that to be the truth. There is some truth to it, and when we lie the muscles, nerves, and pain patterns atop each other, something is revealed. What do you see? What nerves and musculature? What joint? #headachessuck #headache #headacherelief #headaches #pain #tmj #trapezius #uppertrapezius #stressheadache #adaptablepolarity #muscles #painpatterns #triggerpoint #triggerpointtherapy #triggerpoints #triggerpointrelease https://www.instagram.com/p/CopvAP5PwYP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Day 134/365. Physios are mean... Really had to dig at my sub-scap to release the tension, giving me surface and deep bruising. Between choreographing, teaching routines and spotting, my shoulder is a little grumpy. #MusclePain #SubScapular #UpperTrapezius #RotationalInjury #ShoulderInjury #Physiotherapy #Bruising https://www.instagram.com/p/CO2tdiEnfq5/?igshid=1ap1rj508vgch

...building bolder boulder shoulders....overhead presses following after power cleans, my traps were fatigued from the cleaning, as a result locking out the overhead press was quite a challenge, but I persevered and conquered....does anyone else feel like Atlas when overhead pressing? bearing the burdens of the world upon the shoulders, to mould them into boulders worthy of the task...🏋🏾♂️ . . . . . . . . . #overheadpress #shoulderpress #trapeziusmuscle #uppertrapezius #deltoiddevelopment #bouldershoulders #buildingbouldershoulders #pushday #pushpullgrind #physiquedevelopment #aestheticsgoals #bodygoals #bodybuilding #powerlifting #powerclean #strengthdevelopment #powerproduction #styrketrening #krafttraining #strengthgoals #gymislife #makinggains #makinggainsdaily #glutesthatsalute #ascendtoaesthetics #ascenttoaesthetics https://www.instagram.com/p/BvfOS0RFQJd/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ldr8dnbsec11

One of the most misunderstood muscles in the body would be the #uppertrapezius. A muscle easily aggravated and prone to stiffness exacerbating all types of neck and shoulder problems. Our instincts say to stretch but is this the best strategy? https:/
