Okej hej jag kom på varför Endigo kändes så jäkla bekant för mig. Vet inte om de är konventare in the sense av att de har gått på många konvent MEN har ett minne av att bandet Overworld gick runt på uppcon 2012 och delade ut sin debut ep-ish till folk och Endigo va ju vocalist i de bandet

Jag är typ 87% säker på att detta stämmer men om någon gammal konventare som också va där skulle vilja confirma min story välkomnas de. (Also för er som inte existerade i konventvärlden 2012 så måste jag bara säga att bandet Seremedy aka de bandet Yohio spelade gitarr i också va på de konventet och att Yohio va jätte pissig mot folk lmaooo. Good times)

i think this is too niche to land even with my very small number of swedish followers but my toxic trait is that 300 konventare still makes me laugh

#talk tag #i guess it's just nostalgia but. no i can't and won't qualify it i unironically think it's funny #the thing about it is like. it's so dependent on familiarity with late 00s swedish anime convention culture #that i don't think it could possibly be funny to anyone who was not part of that subculture at the specific time when it was made #like they reference a specific band that used to play at cons lmao #not to mention that uppcon doesn't even exist anymore so the jokes about uppcon no longer make sense #or the jokes about fucking. BC manga??? how long has it been since THAT website shut down

theyre having some fall/halloween party tomorrow and i wanted to dress up a bit but i havent been able to get anything and i realized i should have some cat ears here somewhere??? so i dug up my wig box and there they were........ my con ears.........

i don’t really mind not going to cons anymore as such bc usually the ‘i am so out of place’ feeling > any potential enjoyment from panels or activities but i am REALLY sad i can’t go to artist’s alleys n stuff now that i technically have money :< i want posters of my faves too gdi

#even tho i know whenever theres artist alley type things in other places #(like the fantasy sci fi convention thing i DID visit this year)#(im not counting it bc atmosphere at that was way more book fair than uppcon)#i just kinda.... anxiety self consciousness and oops bad #that's bigger the smaller the thing is!!! so!!! if i went to big place!!!!!#i could buy cool fanart and stuff!!! maybe!!!
