Chapter 14 is currently in the early stages of being written (BUT! I type quickly so I am v positive it'll be out 2.7!) so I don't have specific spoilers for you all yet, but let's still plan on doing the word game for the 6th!

They breathed behind their portraits, making sure all was in order even from below the ground, even from under the dry paint. Cassiopeia wondered if one day people would look up to her just as she looked up to them, if she, one day, too, would know what it was like to be worshiped. And that's where she grew up, in a haunted house, a house that was not hers, not her mother's or her father's, but theirs––a house that belonged to the dead.

She grew up accustomed to the way of Noxus, which is and might forever be that of violence. Not only that, but the illusion of violence, the possibility of a threat. And while her father taught Katarina the way of the blades, her mother taught her the way of the words. Why break a sweat when you can prevent the conflict from happening at all? Nevertheless, Cassiopeia was never the athletic one, she didn't know how to wield a sword or hold a shield, she knew nothing of winning combat or surviving it. But she did know how to look pretty, and for a noble young lady, for someone with more power in one finger than some people might ever brandish in their entire lives, that was enough.

i think we should all start using arabic words and phrases more often because its a beautiful language and also theres not really. english equivalents that have the same vibes

theres also the comedy potential of it. you guys dont know the joy of having your muslim friend text you "hopefully the racists in our city will all get sick and cant go to the protest" and you, as a pasty white guy, responding with "inshallah they get covid"

its a one hit KO every time. its fucking hilarious. theres no english word that has the same effect.

he also once texted me that he got over a mysterious illness he came down with (i think? i cant remember the exact context) and i responded with "subhanallah he is cured"

what im saying is we gotta normalise arabic. its just a language like any other, and it has some great words. its just like saying "thank god" or whatever, but theres so much variety and nuance. its beautiful
