Making sketched for my HoA AU and I think it would be super funny if the Sibuna squad didn’t realize it was her for at least a week so they were just like: “Wow, this bird with Nina’s magical cursed locket is really good at solving puzzles! It’s also weirdly attached to Fabian for some reason. We shall name her Nina Jr.”

Nina’s Life

I imagine Nina Martin to have a pretty distant and isolated life from the rest of the Sibuna gang. There would probably be conflict there between her and her old friends once they reconnect at some point (possibly caused by the discovery of her novels).

Nina would write supernatural mystery novels for a living. Her two most popular The Cup of Ankh and The Mask of Anubis. She would obviously have written others, but those two were the most “powerful,” “detailed,” and “personal” as described by some reviewers. She decided to use a pen name while writing (Sarah Raven). It isn’t long, however, until she is discovered by none other than Mr.Fabian Rutter. Being a dedicated reader, Fabian is always looking for new material and when he glances over something sounding eerily familiar he grows suspicious.

Fabian and Nina have contact again and it all spills over into a drawn out argument about Nina’s reasons for leaving and the distance between the two of them, the distance that had initially broken Fabian’s heart. That he now realized had never really healed especially considering that Nina had found another relationship. 

Nina had gotten married at the age of twenty-six to a tall, college professor from Vermont and they were expecting their first child by the time Fabian and Nina had reconnected.

Nina and Fabian resolved their issues soon enough as Fabian discovered and moved on from some of his other personal problems (his dissatisfaction with his job and loneliness). 

Nina lives happily with her now two children and husband. She has had a successful career and continues to. Not to mention, she’s starting to mend the relationships she had originally left behind at Anubis House.
