Hey guys, long time no see huh. Well today was the first day I had really a free minute as I'm currently organizing prom so I'm stressed haha. Well I still hope you enjoy my story,
Love y'all Magdi <3
It was around midnight, and you were sitting on your couch, wrapped up in a fluffy blanket, watching some movie you found on Netflix. Pablo was going out with some friends tonight, and even though he asked you to tag along, you preferred to stay in today, wanting to get some things done for work.
Pablo wasn't that happy with your decision, but he accepted it with a pout. He and his friends left around 9 o'clock, so you expected him to be home around one or two in the morning. You didn't mind him coming home late. Pablo is mostly really strict with himself, so you let him have his fun, and even though Pablo told you to not wait for him every time, you still stayed awake (or tried to) so you could fall asleep together.
You were on your way to the kitchen, needing some caffeine to stay awake until Pablo came home. Your head is stuck in your pantry as you hear your phone ring. Confused about who would call you this late, you rush back to the living room, thinking it is an emergency.
Your worry only grew as you saw the name of one of Pablo's best friends on your phone screen. You pick up the phone as quickly as you can.
"Hey Ale, is everything ok?!"
"Hey Y/N. Yeah everything is fine, your boyfriend just had one ... maybe three drinks to much." You heard him laugh over the loud music of the club.
"Me and Fermín will bring him home now, he has been asking where you are for the past half hour."
"Yeah, that's a good plan, I'll see you then. Has he fallen down somewhere already?" You ask, laughing to yourself. You see, Pablo had a bit of a habit when he had too much to drink. And that was totally ignoring where he was going. One time, the two of you were going out with some friends at a club near the beach, and at some point on your way home, Pablo just slid down the little bank that led to the beach. You didn't even realise he was gone until you heard his giggles from the beach.
"No he hasn't fallen down anywhere yet, but we keep an eye on him." You heard him laughing over the phone.
Laughing to yourself, you say bye to Ale and hang up, starting to prepare a few things for when Pablo comes home, like aspirin and lots and lots of water.
Half an hour later, you heard the doorbell ring and before said door stood Ale and Fermín, who held up a very drunk Pablo, who was smiling from one ear to the other.
"Oh god, what did he do?" You ask his friends, who also have a smile on their faces. But as soon as Pablo heard your voice, his head whipped up. "Y/N!"
He wriggled himself free from the grip of his friends and stumbled into your arms.
"Oh, I missed you sooooo much!" He mumbled into your neck, his warm breath tickling your neck.
"But you just saw me 3 hours ago, Pablito." You exclaim, laughing.
"I know, that's way too long."
With the help of Fermín and Ale, you got Pablo inside, with a few little accidents on the way as Pablo kept running into every shelf you owned in this house.
But now you finally have him where you want him to be, and after saying goodnight to Pablo's friends, you start the mission: getting Pablo ready for bed.
"Come on Amor, you have to brush your teeth."
"But I don't want tooooo."
Sighing, you try to think of a way to convince your toddler of a boyfriend to brush his damm teeth.
"OK Pablo, if you brush your teeth now, I will give you a kiss."
At that, his eyes went wide, and you never saw anyone grab his toothbrush faster than Pablo did at that moment. Giggling at his antics, you walk out of the bathroom into your shared bedroom to lay some pyjamas out for him.
Surprisingly, convincing him to change into his pyjamas went more effortless than you thought. So now you were laying in bed, Pablos head on your chest, your hand stroking through his soft hair. Pablo's soft whisper broke the comfortable silence you were in.
"I believed I was promised a kiss Querida."
"Oh, were you now?"
"Mhm, yes."
"Well, I can't break my promise now, can I?"
You grab Pablo's chin with your hand to make him look at you and place your lips against his soft ones in a quick kiss.
"Happy now?"
"Yup, as happy a ever."
"Well then, goodnight Pablo, sleep well."
You waited for an answer, but all you heard were Pablo's soft snores as he already fell asleep on your chest. With a smile on his face, you look at the aspirin lying on his bedside table, knowing he is gonna have the headache of his life tomorrow.

Sick days
A/N: This is the last part of a previous request, I'm really happy that you have enjoyed the last two and I hope you enjoy this one. I've based off myself a little bit, just job wise really 🤷♀️
Arthur Leclerc x reader
Synopsis: "Maybee some of the care for her when she's sick 🥹🥹"
Warnings: sick reader, soft Arthur
You loved your job, getting to watch kids before and after school when their parents would drop them off early or pick them up late. You loved working with the different age groups, doing activities, and running around with them. It wasn't until you got sick that you realised that working with kids might not be completely good. You wake up on a Saturday morning, your sinuses are blocked up, you've got a pounding headache, and your joints ache.
You mentally curse yourself for getting sick, you knew it was from work since you haven't been anywhere else lately. What made it even worse? Arthur has a week off. You're supposed to pick him up from the airport tonight. Luckily you decided to gradually clean your shared apartment throughout the week, so everything has already been done. You gradually get up, heading to the kitchen to get breakfast. You put down 2 pieces of toast, spreading butter and vegemite on them when come up (I am an AUSTRALIAN. Vegemite toast is like a medical remedy for sick days, do not judge me 🫶).
After finishing breakfast, you move on with your day. You head to your home gym, hoping to get a little cardio done. You managed to make it through an hour on the treadmill before your sinuses became too much. You quickly shut it off before running to grab a tissue and pump yourself with more anti-cold tablets. You made it to the shower, washing off the sweat.
You spent the rest of the day in front of the tv, trying to relax and clear your cold up as much as you could. Arthur's plane was arriving at 9pm, so you knew you had to leave at 8pm. It was 7pm when you realised you must shower and get ready to pick your boyfriend up.
After parking at the airport, you made your way in to find Arthur's gate. You had about 20 minutes to go until he walked through the doors. Your nose was still stuffy and you had a bit of a cough, better than this morning but still not great. You sat on a bench, watching as his plane rolled up and connected to the ramp. He was the first person out of the door, frantically looking around until he spotted you.
He broke into a grin and picked up speed, you stood up and broke into a run. Bodies collided in a bone-crushing hug in the middle of the airport, your arms around his neck as he gripped your waist. He pulled his head back, and you let go and grabbed his luggage, avoiding his kiss so you wouldn't get him sick. You linked your hand with him, pulling his luggage behind you. He didn't move, letting go of your hand and pouting as you turned around.
"Baby, what are you doing?" slightly amused by his reaction, you moved closer to him. He mumbled under his breath, "What did you say?" you asked him. "You didn't kiss me" he said through his pout. You giggle a little when you answer, "Arty, I've got a cold, I don't want to get you sick on your time off". He gave you a massive eye roll when he said "Seriously, love? You know I don't give a shit of your sick or not, I'll gladly get sick if it means I still get to kiss you"
You laugh as you reach up to cup his cheek, "I think you might be going soft, baby" you joke. "I don't care" is the only thing you hear as he brings his hand to the back of your head and connects your lips in a mind-blowing, firework show of a kiss. You both make your ways back to the car and head home for the night. Lo and behold, you wake up the next morning with no cold symptoms. However, your boyfriend is shivering and sniffling. "I told you, baby" you says as you big spoon him, "Shut up", he responds, "I still love you, even if you got me sick" he chuckles. "I love you too, Arty"

relax - pablo gavi
summary: gavi comes home exhausted after an intense week of football, but you‘re there to help him relax.
genre: fluff
———
gavi came home absolutely exhausted. It was the week before the game against Atlético Madrid, so xavi didn't give his players any rest, but kept pushing them to their limits. After an already intense practice, the coach then announced a spontaneous meeting, where they would discuss their tactics for the game.
already annoyed by the sudden change of plans and a headache forming, he stumbled into the meeting, sitting down next to araujo. what gavi didn't know, this meeting would take about two hours before he finally sat in his audi to head home. a sight left his lips as he looked at the time. 8:17pm. you were probably already done with dinner and left him a plate to eat.
you sat on the couch with your glasses on, trying to do some homework for the next day, as you heard the keys jingle, indicating gavi was home.
he stumbled into your shared apartment, holding his phone and keys in one hand, while the other held his backpack. his eyes were half closed already and his hair was all over the place. after finally looking up, his eyes met his girlfriends. you smiled softly at him when you saw the worn out boy standing in front of you.
"you look like you need a hug." you chuckled and walked over to him.
gavi only half smiled, but put his strong hands around your shoulders nevertheless. you knew how exhausted he must've been, so you let him hug you as long as he wanted to.
"i've missed you." he muffled and placed a soft peck on your neck.
"I've missed you too pablito." you spoke, holding his cheeks to give him a proper, long kiss.
"i already ate but i can warm it up for you, if you want." you spoke again, taking the backpack from his hands to put it away.
gavi just nodded sleepily, stumbling towards the kitchen.
you came back and prepared his food when Gavi whined in pain as he sat down. "Ow!" he growled, putting a hand on his lower back.
"does your back still hurt?" you asked him concerned and walked over to him, rubbing his back softly.
"mhm, i couldn't rest that much these last few weeks, so i guess the pain came back." he replied, leaning into your touch.
his back had been giving him problems for a while now. during a game, he received a blow from another player onto his lower back muscle and since then it hurt. over time it got better, but when gavi played a lot and couldn't rest properly, the pain came back. the physiotherapists at Barça said nothing could happen if he played through the pain, but his ability to perform at his best was restricted.
"how about i'll give you a massage after you're finished with eating? it helped the last time."
"yeah that would be nice, thank you amor." he replied and gave you a soft kiss to which you blushed in response. he ate dinner in silence, watching some videos on his phone while you got everything ready. gavi walked upstairs, his face contorted in pain with every step he took, until he reached the bedroom.
you patted the bed, indicating for gavi to lie down. with a plop, he was face down on the bed, eyes already closed.
"baby if you want me to massage you, you have to take your shirt off." you laughed at your boyfriend's silliness.
he was quiet for a second until he spoke.
"you could've just told me if you wanted to see my abs." he replied cockily as a joke to tease you.
you just shook your head, but secretly liked the view when Gavi stood in front of you shirtless. still with that cocky grin on his face he came closer, looking down at you.
"you like what you see, don't you?" gavi stepped even closer, only inches apart from each others faces.
"i'm trying to be all cute and helpful for you and you make me nervous over here. stop it." you replied only above a whisper.
he laughed out loud before pressing a gentle kiss on your lips.
"you are cute and helpful, but i love to see you all shy and blushing because of me."
finally laying on his stomach, you swung your legs on either side of Gavi, sitting on his butt.
"it's going to be cold for a sec, sorry." you had already warned him before you placed the cream onto his lower back. he shrieked at the coldness but relaxed shortly after.
pressing your thumb into his skin, you made slow but strong movements, trying to ease the tension out of his body. he sighed in relaxation, sometimes giving you an appreciative smile or comment, like "oh that's nice" or "keep doing that, it feels amazing".
you now wandered from his back to his shoulders and neck, giving his other muscles also a good squeeze. you enjoyed letting your hands wander over his broad shoulders and loved to see your boy relaxed, as his body was often in constant pain or exhaustion.
it's been about half an hour when you stopped as your hands started to hurt. you hadn't heard much from gavi, so you gently got off him, only to see him sleeping.
his eyes were closed and his lips slightly parted as soft breaths left them. you pressed a sweet kiss onto his cheek, before placing the duvet over him to let him have his well deserved rest.

❝ Run now, before it's too late ❞
In which, you walk towards forever with someone else as you think about the time you spent with katsuki.
Content: fantasy!bakugou x princess!reader, ye olde times, breakups, arranged marriage (reader with some other prince), angst, hurt/comfort, sfw.
2k words (this one got away from me lol)
Part 2 ───────────────────────────────────────
You stood atop the dais surveying yourself in the mirror, the click of the door from your last few hand-maidens leaving echoed across the large room.
Your wedding dress was lavish and your hair was done beautifully, To be honest with yourself, you looked absolutely extravagant. Almost mocking your heart.
You stood looking for a few more moments until a sharp tap on your balcony door startled you. You hastily walked over to the balcony when you saw a rock hit your closed balcony doors and make another sharp noise.
Peering over the balcony railing your eyes widened as you saw two very familiar faces below you.
"Kaminari, kirishima what are you doing here?", You asked in disbelief.
It has been over a month since you last saw them, last saw him. Your heart gave a pang when, despite yourself, you looked around for any sign of him, that was, unfortunately, not there...not that you were surprised.
"We came for the wedding of course", the son of the kaminari household mused with a mischievous glint in his eyes that you almost missed, as he steadied his horse, besides him sir kirishima chuckled nervously fiddling with the straps of the harness.
"You could've greeted me at the ceremony, which starts in a quarter of an hour, what is the matter with this secret meeting? You know it is not appropriate for the guests to see the bride before she is at the ceremony right?", You decided to humor them, trying to act like everything was normal.
The men shared glaces and did not reply for a moment. It looked like kirishima was urging kaminari to say something while kaminari gave him a look that read, proceed with caution. Nonetheless, you had a wedding to get to and your heart still ached, seeing them here but not him, even though you weren't sure you even wanted to see him, and gosh that's frustrating and it hurt! So you said, "well, I suppose I'll see you at the ceremony out back, we'll have plenty of time to catch up.", then cleared your throat ready to turn back when-
"We're here to get you out!", kirishima blurted out. Besides him kaminari sighed,"well I mean he isn't wrong, we are here to help you escape the wedding."
You took a few moments to process their words. "What" you said brows furrowed. "Did katsu- er- bakugou send you?" You finally asked, trying to hold a steady voice, even when you wanted to do everything but talk about him right now. Even thinking about him feels like a sharp stab to your heart and floods your mind with all the "what if?"s
"Well technically not since we did get an invitation", kaminari said a bit uncertainly.
"What? I didn't- I didn't know... Is bakugou here too?" You said in a shaky voice.
The two exchanged weary glances. There was an uncomfortable silence for a moment then kirishima said,"yes but he's not in the town... He didn't want to come, so he's at the campsite near the outskirts of town."
Oh. So he was here. You felt a pang of guilt within you.
"So? Your ride's here princess what're you waiting for?", Kirishima asked.
You stared in disbelief, they were serious about that. You couldn't even think of anything to say.
"I- I'm sorry... I can't"
"Ofcourse you can, the mansion will be empty when you're supposed to walk out so you just slip out the front door before the doors to the garden open. No one has to know until we'll be well on our way." Kaminari said grinning.
With each word you felt more hollow, they'd even went as far as to make this whole plan. You looked down willing the tears not to fall,
"You don't understand I have to do this. It's whats expected of me, it's what's best for the kingdom."
"Princess, is this really what you want?", Kirishima asked softly.
It is. It has to be.
"I'm sorry... Please tell katsuki that I'm sorry", with that you turned and went into your suite.
With a deep sigh you turn back to inspect yourself in the mirror once more, just to try and find one flaw in yourself....to no avail.
You pick up your beautiful bouquet of flowers and turn to the mirror to adjust your Vail.
╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾
"Here", you smile as you stand from the grass to place a crown on bakugou's head. "Now we match."
Bakugou turns to see you adorning a woven crown comprised of firey red flowers. He smiled as you led him to the river to inspect yourselves. Bakugou looked at your smiling face in the water then at himself, his crown identical to yours. " 's much better then those stupid heavy crown we're s'posed to wear... And you look even more radiant.", he speaks in a gruff voice, looking at your reflection.
╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾
You gaze wistfully at the glistening tiara atop your head. Your head once again swirling with "what if"s and thought of him. You halfheartedly heard the echoing dong of a bell, signaling it was time for you to come out.
As you walked through the summer palace, your dress and Vail trailing behind you, your mind reeled back to your last meeting with him.
╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾
You saw Katsuki's broad figure appear from the garden path. His features illuminated by the soft lights emitted from the gazebo. Meeting his ruby eyes you gave him a soft smile and motioned him to the seat across from you.
"My Princess", he greeted in his signature gruff voice, even though no one was around to hear.
You gave him a slight chuckle, "Chief Bakugou",you decided to follow along despite yourself,"I suppose kirishima and kaminari are around the corner?"
Kirishima and kaminari are always your escorts when you two are usually meeting, but this wasn't the usual meeting at all. For one this was late in the evening and you two are meeting in a desolate garden. And you were about the break the worst news to him.
"Nah just us, they're standing by outside the garden..."
After a brief pause he continued,"you said ya wanted to talk? About what?"
Straight to the point as always. His firey gaze focused intently on you, which made it so much harder to tell him. "Erm- so, I recently had a talk with my parents...and they have decided it's best for me to get married."
You paused to look up and try to decipher his face. He did not look too excited, perhaps a reflection of your own emotions, but eager to hear you continue.
So you did, "after my father came back from his trip to the western kingdom, he had a word with my mother and they have come to a decision...", You looked away, desperately holding back the tears, to break the news slowly but when he said "Just where is this going?" With a playful- no, hopeful- tone something broke.
"Don't you get it? We have to end this! I'm to be bethroad to crown prince of the western kingdom.", your voice cracked and tears welled in your eyes.
Bakugou went still. That playful smirk no longer graces his face. He stared blankly at you. After a heavy moment he spoke,"I see... Is everything fully decided?"
You looked back at him, a bit shocked, not expecting such a levelheaded reaction nor that question - seldom was bakugou calm when you were on the brink of irrationality- "I- no. Nothing official happened yet but the king and queen will meet up with the bethroad party and it will become official... I'm sorry katsuki, but we have to stop seeing each other.", you said, voice getting quieter as you continued, feeling ashamed and guilty for some reason.
But katsuki looked at you and moved forward, carefully placing his hands on your shoulders,"Oi, don't say that. It's not confirmed yet so- so I will go to the king and ask to marry you first! I will fight for you no matter what!" The fiery look returned to his eyes, almost hot spark flames of hope in your heart too...Almost.
Your eyes widened at that proclamation. Just as soon as an ember of hope ignited in your chest, it fizzled out at the thought of your responsibility... You looked at his face then at your feet,"no." You simply said.
Confusion evident in his voice katsuki asked, "what?"
"No. That won't do."
"What do you mean? Nothing is set in stone, we have a chance."
"No you don't understand. Through this marriage, the west and north kingdom will be united and-", your voice cracked, "I can finally do something for the kingdom."
Katsuki stared at you in disbelief, "That's bullshit princess! So those lousy excuses of parents don't give a damn about you or your political standing your whole life, and now all of a sudden you're the only thing that can suddenly bring the kingdom to glory? And by being princess-consort to another kingdom?!", he spit the last part in such anger. Anger not aimed at you, anger you couldn't quite understand.
"This is real, katsuki! I can finally be useful and help the kingdom, alliance with the west means better trade and more merchants, the subjects will be benefited and-", you try to make him understand. But he cuts in.
"Don't give me the shit about how you're not useful to the kingdom. For as long as I can remember being with you and knowing you, all of the decisions you made have been for the good of your subjects. All the orphanages, all the charities and all the businesses you've sponsored have had a direct effect on the people- people you might never even rule! You are more helpful than any of the other morachy members.", it's not often katsuki is the calm voice of reason, but right now it makes you mad, so you scream.
"Katsuki, shut up! I'm telling you, there's nothing you can do. This is my duty! My responsibility! You don't get a say in that."
"No I don't but I won't see you trap yourself in a life that is less than you deserve. I will fight for you, y/n! All I ask is that you let me.",
His shouting voice became small and intimate in that last sentence, there was only a handful of times you've heard him speak like this, but his voice was clear and sharp as ever. Unfortunately, the swirling in your head had never stopped, not from the moment you received the news, not now. It muddled your thoughts and you wanted to scream at him because it hurt. It hurt to be here facing him when all you wanted to do was jump in his arms and never let go but you think about your duty to the crown, to the kingdom, to your people -the people who would never truly be yours- and you look down at your feet, not meeting his eyes.
A coward.
In the end, that's what you were.
"I'm sorry."
╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾
As you walked towards your new life you reminisced the time spent with the hot-head chief and his eccentric companions. The sound of your shoes hitting the marbel stairs and the dull chatter of the guests outside was the only sound in the otherwise dark palace. You walked past the windows, even the sunlight leaving you every time. In an instant, it seemed, you stood before the great doors that would open to your new life.
You stood before the great oak doors, bouquet close to your chest, head held high adorned by your crown. It was then that you realized tears flowed from your eyes.
This was what you were supposed to do. This was your duty to the kingdom. The princess marries the crown prince and lives happily ever after.
So why were your unhappy?
In your mind flashed a picture of katsuki.
╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾╾
As the music started, all the guests stood as the great oak door creaked open. But shock murmured through the crowd as the door opened to no sign of the bride. The king immediately stood up and the guards swarmed the door, as guests began to mumble. All that was found in your stead was a white bouquet of roses and your crown. Behind them, The front doors of the mansion stood ajar...

A/n: This fic has been in my notes for AGES. This is one of the first fic idea I've had which prompted me to open this blog, and I'm actually really happy with how this turned out!! I'm totally obsessed with the fantasy au of mha and this was really fun to write!! At first I was stumped on the "break up" part cuz I didn't really know how to approach that lol, but I think I did a good job. This one was mostly angst, but part 2 has the comfort, I promise. And as always, take care and stay safe y'all ♡

Ella Toone
“Jesus Christ love I didn’t know you could hit like that”
Rage room 🙂🔥
rage room II e.toone
"baby! i love ya so much but please hurry up." the mancunian groaned, twirling her keys around on her pointer finger. "el we are literally not booked in until three and it's only eleven thirty." you laughed at her impatience from the bedroom.
"yeah but we're gettin our nails done and then goin for lunch and then the rage room at three. we're on a tight schedule here woman chop chop!" the midfielder clapped, popping her head through the doorway with a raised eyebrow.
"sorry! i'll hurry up love." you made a point to bend down and lace your sneakers in slow motion, ella leaning against the door frame with a long and annoyed groan.
"i'm getting grey hairs here man." your girlfriend huffed with a shake of her head, smacking your hands away and kneeling down lacing up your shoes for you.
"sure babe you can borrow my jordans, thanks for askin." ella mocked sarcastically as you grinned. "sure love you can borrow my prada sunglasses, thanks for askin." you quipped back as the smile was wiped from her face.
"fair point. come on then!" she took your hand and pulled you to your feet. "baby!" ella moaned as you dug your heels in just to annoy her further, trudging slowly across the living room.
"you're such a fuckin wind up!"
~
"thank you for today el, its been perfect." you smiled sincerely, sat across from your girlfriend at your favorite japanese restaurant, leaning across and meeting her lips in a sweet kiss. "anything for you and that gorgeous smile baby." ella flirted charmingly as you shook your head.
"if only you were this smooth when you asked me out the first time." you teased as ella's cheeks flushed bright red. "you promised to stop bringin that up!" ella whined burying her face in her hands.
you'd transferred to united from bristol city two years ago and ella had been enamored by you from the moment you stepped foot into the locker room with a shy wave, a little taken aback by how forward and friendly the entire team was.
her best friends very quickly picking up on the developing crush she'd been relentlessly bullied into eventually asking you out on a date. though with half the team well aware of her feelings and the lingering fear of rejection she'd been a nervous wreck.
the words got jumbled up together and her attempt to ask you just for coffee wound up with her asking you to buy her a coffee and you leaving with a confused nod, showing up the next day with a flat white in hand for her and a very embarrassed number seven who hurried to correct what she'd meant.
"babe its a crucial part of our epic love story, i can't pretend it didn't happen." you grinned as your food arrived and you both thanked the server. "teach me please?" ella asked eagerly holding up the chopsticks in hand.
"el, love we tried this last time." you smiled sympathetically but unable to say no to her pleading eyes you walked her through it, the brunette eventually dropping them to the table with a clatter and a list of swear words dropped from her lips.
"fuck this." ella grumbled, snatching the fork you'd made sure to order for her and stabbing the california role before shoving it angrily into her mouth in one go.
"what?" she asked with a frown, mouth still full of sushi. "you know babe sometimes i miss when we weren't so comfortable around each other."
~
"so obviously the walls are off limits! they are cement though so i wouldn't recommend to hit them anyway because the shock of the bat hitting it could break your hand." the worker shrugged casually as you and your girlfriend shared a look.
"thats mostly everything. have fun ladies!" he shrugged, stepping out and closing the door as music filled the room. "ready baby?" ella grinned, moving forward and tugging your glasses down over your eyes.
"go!" ella cheered, swinging her bat at a stack of as you pumped your fists and the music got a little louder. you watched on with a grin as your girlfriend wreaked havoc, letting out a war cry and hauling a few plates at the wall.
"go on baby, your turn!" ella encouraged with a wave as you lifted your bat and swung at an old computer monitor barely knocking it over. "nah you can do better than that! think about that prick from ya old job, the one we used to scream into the pillows about!" ella remembered, clicking her fingers.
a sudden rage filling your body you let out a war cry of your own and swung at an old tv sending the glass screen flying in hundreds of tiny pieces around the room.
"jesus christ love i didn't know you could hit like that." ella whistled in shock. "baseball?" you gave her a wolfish grin holding up a mug as she perked up and readied her bat.
"ya know we should really bring mary here babe, she has a lot of rage."

you must like me for me - quinn hughes (a sneak peek !)
a/n: another fic idea i've had in my head for ages ! i started writing it the other day when i was sick and it's currently at 3k words. i'm CONFIDENT that i'll smash this one out quicker than my aho fic so it's the only reason i feel like i can post a sneak peak. but also let me know if you have any requests or ideas you'd like me to write about - i'd love to hear from you 🤍
summary: twelve months since the incident and you're ready to let yourself re-emerge into the public eye in the form of a hockey game. the plan was simple: appear, smile, leave unscathed. easy, right?
The theory of fight or flight has always fascinated you. In the face of adversity, no matter how complex the situation, millions of years of evolution still dictate that humanity will always revert to its oldest survival mechanism: to either assert and neutralize, or: evade and withdraw.
What you’ve come to learn is that there’s a third strategy nestled between fight or flight, often overlooked because of its passiveness in comparison to its overt counterparts: to freeze.
And that’s the instinct you’ve found yourself falling back on time and time again. As if you’re hoping to blend into the very fabric of the environment where you can pause amid the chaos, weigh the risks, and soundly determine the best course of action.
The downturn?
You’re left vulnerable and exposed the longer you wait.
But it’s a tactic that you’ve grown familiar with, and it’s the one that’s currently in motion.
“You can’t do this to her, she isn’t ready.”
“It’s been over a year, we can’t let her hide forever.”
The commotion of voices being thrown around surrounds you but you’re too swept up with the memories and emotions battling out in your head. They’re leaving you dizzy and disorientated.
One year. Had it really been that long? God. It feels like one month since you first signed your contract in front of a roomful of lawyers and high-powered executives. Back then, you were too naively charmed by the golden promises of stardom and fame that they were selling you. Promising that your talent for lyricism, bordering on poetry, would resonate with the hearts of girls who all seemed to unanimously share the parallel experiences of all things love and girlhood. That you needed a team that could provide you with the right connections and the right opportunities to get you there.
And to their credit, they didn’t fail you. As soon as you signed your contract, the label had you in the studio effective immediately with the release of “your” song debuting four weeks later.
“But I didn’t write this and it doesn’t really sound like me…”
“Don’t worry about it, honey. We just need to get you on the charts and then you can write about anything you want. Trust us - this is how it all works.”
And trust them you did.
Your song topped the charts for twelve consecutive weeks. The events that took place after your overnight success were a whirlwind. You released a music video. You did media interviews. You collabed with DJs to release remixes. You performed as a guest on endless TV shows. And when you were done, you thought that you would finally be able to sit down with your producers to start developing the library of ideas and single-line lyrics you had swimming around in your head.
But they had other plans for you in the form of a studio album, and then rinse and repeat. You felt like you were a human cannonball: shot out, forced to perform carefully curated tricks, and to always stick the landing.
Your team had done everything they could to meticulously craft your image; selectively allowing journalists to access certain stories whether it be about your work or your life. You were America’s Darling. Until you weren’t.
A sharp trill of your name grounds you back into reality. You blink and recompose yourself, finding the same four people you entered the boardroom with, staring expectantly back at you. Your mom, your manager, Megan, your publicist, Bec, and sat opposite you across the insanely large table is the VP of your label, Joe. Their expressions are ones you’ve grown used to: sympathetic and slightly defeated.
“Sorry, what was the question?”
Megan sighs and shifts slightly in her chair to meet your front. “Darling, I know how hard this year has been for you,”
Do you?
“But it’s time for us to come back out. We need to face this.”
In all the years you’ve worked with Megan, she has never offered you such softness in her voice as she has now. As a manager, a female manager in this industry nonetheless, she had been nothing short of headstrong, sharp, and commanding. Her confidence and demeanour never wavered and, if you were being honest, you were thankful that she held you to the same standard as the rest of your team. It equipped you with a thick skin, something that you wouldn’t have survived your young career without. And it leaves you to wonder where you would be now without her to guide you through this situation.
“Megan is right,” Joe says. “The world hasn’t forgotten, you know.”
It comes out so matter-of-factly that it feels almost accusatory.
“You’re not the first celebrity to be wrapped up in a scandal and you certainly won’t be the last.”
That line is enough to make your mom snap into a fury again.
“A scandal? She did nothing wrong,” she chastises. “What that boy did is not her fault.”
Joe’s impatience is growing evident with every turn of the conversation. As warranted as your mother’s protectiveness is for this particular circumstance, her resistance was stopping one of his biggest artists from bringing in the label money. You can tell he's trying his best to level his demeanour but you also know that the higher-ups are breathing down his neck. He's balancing it as well as anyone could.
“This wasn’t just any boy. And your daughter is not just any girl. The reality of the situation is that just because she wasn’t responsible for what happened, doesn’t mean we can simply erase her from it,” Joe breaks, voice raising ever so slightly.
“She cannot keep silent on this anymore and the longer we stretch this out, the more intense the backlash will be upon her,” he presses on. “With all due respect, we have been extremely patient and have afforded your daughter twelve months. But this is a business first and there is a contract to be upheld. We are giving you the opportunity to write the narrative or have it forced to be written for you.”
“He’s right,” Bec interjects. She’s always had a good gauge of when to step in when tensions start rising. It’s what makes her such a great publicist - always mediating at the right time.
“But we don’t have to rush either. We can take it slowly. Start off with a public appearance in a controlled environment.
The juxtaposition of that sentence could have made you laugh. Controlled environment? If the last few years had taught you anything, it was that no public appearance was ever fully in your control. Your phone number had been leaked more times than you could remember; the media showed up at your house at all hours of the night; private family events were invaded by obsessed “fans”.
Your mom was quick to make the same connection, “where could we possibly let her go that guarantees her safety?”
“The suite at MSG has their security system locked down to a tee. We could place her in there with a few friends and guise it as a quiet night out to show their support. Maybe work with the organisation to show her on the scoreboard during a break, totally candid of course, and maybe meet with their guest of the night for some fan engagement. We don’t want the public to misconstrue the appearance as a total cover-up.” Bec rattles off like it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
Megan and Joe start nodding in agreeance, chiming in with additional tweaks to the plan that’s now been laid out, and it becomes apparent to you that they’ve had this meeting before without you. Your requested input and presence on the matter was just an act of courtesy. But as vexed as you are with this realisation, you know it makes sense. You were tired of the pitied looks your family and friends gave you, afraid to broach the subject as if it would send you into a spiral. You felt like the public owned you; shunning you into silence with all your actions picked apart and psychoanalyzed everywhere you turned.
You missed your fans who called for you every day, writing sweet notes of encouragement and rebuffing shallow attempts of hate accounts concocting false stories. You wouldn’t be half the artist you are today without them and they deserved more than just radio silence. And it’s this last thought that makes you believe it’s the only reason you say:
“Just tell me when.”

big baby and bigger baby
pairing neteyam x mom! oc, lo'ak x mom! oc, slight neytiri x mom! oc tags & warning i'm so down bad for neytiri, slight romance with wifey, lo'ak and neteyam are def mamas boys, mentions of blood and violence summary preparing for another raid, jake finally let his sons take part in it. veronica was proud but her concerns never left her. word count 2.6k index skxawng [idiot], ma'itan [my son], prrnen [baby]
teyamsilly speaking ✩ idk if i'll ever be satisfied with how my stories are cause i keep coming back to it and it feels like there is something lacking :') hope you enjoy it !
"We hit them here. Assuming they will be waiting for us to hit them earlier in the transport because of our surprise attack last time, let's wait a bit more until they cross this-" Veronica circled an area on the map with red paint using her finger, "to attack them. Like we discussed before, Tarsem will place the bombs by the tracks and activate them. The track gets destroyed and the train breaks. Na'vi on ground will collect all the goods in the train. Everything that is of use to us. Na'vi on sky will handle the helicopters."
She observed all the warriors. "Am I clear?"
They all answered with a firm yes, a nod of respect sent her way. Veronica looked at Jake and nodded. The simple gesture from her told him that the brief was done.
"Warriors, get ready!" announced Jake. The tent was instantly filled war cries, filling each na'vi inside with determination. The RDA destroyed their home once, they wont allow it to happen again. One by one, they left.
The Olo'eyktan watched as each of them exited the tent until his gaze stopped on two distinctive figures. He sighed, "Neteyam and Lo'ak, stay for a moment."
Veronica and Neytiri shared a knowing look. Their two sons weren't meant to be part of the raid because it was too dangerous. The first raid took five of their warriors lives and many injured, and fortunately Neteyam and Lo'ak weren't too stubborn about joining. This time they begged days on end about being a part of it.
Every time, Jake replied no without hesitation. He might claim they weren't prepared or that it was too perilous, but his two wives understood deep down that it was just because he didn't want the sight of their blood out there. Heck, he was already worried about Veronica and Neytiri being part of the raid. Thinking about his sons in the field will give him a headache.
The brothers glanced at each other before standing in front of him. Jake eyed them intensely as he spoke. "You're spotters, you got it? Spot bogeys and alert us if there are any," he reminded.
They nodded. "Yes, sir."
Their response didn't ease him, however. Jake knew it was an automatic response just for them to be granted permission. He stared at his younger son a bit longer before he nudged his head to the door. The boys walked away from their position and exited the tent. Their absence filled the place with silence as the adults just stood there and watched where they left.
Veronica lay her hand on his shoulder, and squeezed them gently. She smiled, "They will be fine."
"Yeah, I hope so," he mumbled, his head down.
"I am still against it," said Neytiri.
Veronica snapped her gaze towards her with furrowed brows. If there was one thing she knew about Neteyam and Lo'ak, it was that they would start to defy them little by little if they shielded them for too long.
"But," Neytiri continued, "our sons are strong. They know what to do."
Jake pursed his lips, his only response being a nod. The boys were too young for this in his eyes. Just because he wasn't human anymore, it didn't mean that he has forgotten his culture and beliefs. Neteyam's age may be considered the age of maturity, but to Jake he is still a kid.
Veronica tucked her knife in her sheath that was tied around her lower back above her tail. It was hard to stay positive in this situation because it seemed like Jake's anxiety passed to her. He isn't wrong to feel that way, no. She tried to overlook negative thoughts about them being there because the two were looking forward to this. They were driven to protect their home, and she doesn't blame them for that.
All the warriors crowded around the egde of High Camp with their ikrans. Vera, her ikran, stood out to her the most just because her colours are her favourite. She was painted with a mix of white, light blue, and green— colours that reminded her of the ocean.
"Can't believe we're spotters," Lo'ak grumbled. He shook the locks of the saddle on his ikran, making sure that it is fastened.
Neteyam sighed as he shook his head. "Be grateful. This is better than nothing."
The younger brother rolled his eyes. "Bet he only said yes cause Mama said so."
Lo'ak was sure that his life would have been more difficult if his mother wasn't there. She was the only person who understood him, who wouldn't yell at him for his mistakes and instead talk to him in a manner that he would understand what he did was wrong. His father's scoldings does give him a wake up call, but not enough to make him stop.
"And what about me?" Veronica arched an eyebrow as she approached them.
Neteyam smirked when he heard his brother curse under his breath as he was caught in the act.
"Nothing, mama."
"This skxawng said father only said yes because you said so, mom," said Neteyam. Lo'ak sent him a glare but he could care less. His baby brother was harmless as long as their mom was there.
Since the children have two mothers, they called them with different names to not confuse the women. There were too many instances when they were babies crying out for their mothers, but the mothers would always attend to them simultaneously. So, Neytiri was mother, while Veronica was mom. Although, Lo'ak called Veronica mama since he was little and he didn't grow away from that habit.
"Just so you know, I don't feel as confident anymore for letting the two of you out there. There are still ways you could help the clan and I would gladly find them," she said. Her words alerted the two teenagers immediately. Veronica smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. "However, I trust you not to do anything stupid. Am I right to do so?"
Lo'ak nodded, his boyish grin stretched on his lips. "Mama, please, as if I would do something stupid at a time like this."
"You don't really have a good record for showing obedience in the worst times, ma'itan."
Neteyam chuckled, "Don't worry, mom. I will make sure he will stay put."
Somehow, I doubt that, she thought. The eldest son always managed to be tangled in his mess even if he doesn't want to, but she felt reassured that Lo'ak wasn't alone.
Looking at them stood at each others side made Veronica feel nostalgic. The image of them as children flashed through her head. They were yelling for her and running towards her with cheeky smiles, jumping into her arms. It seemed like time flew too fast. Now, they had matured and had a sense of responsibility.
"When did you grow so big?" Veronica sighed, tears welling up in her eyes. She drew Lo'ak into her embrace.
"Mom, stop," Lo'ak whined. His eyes looked around frantically with his cheeks flushed. He did not want to be treated like a prrnen in front of so many people.
"Hm, why?" she teased. "Do you have a girl I don't know about?"
"No, but-"
"I thought so." Veronica tightened her arms around her son, planting a kiss on his temple with a loud sound effect just to embarrass him more. She laughed as she heard him groan against her. "My baby is so big now!"
"Mom!" he complained. Veronica laughed as she took a step away from her son, seeing his cheeks flushed from embarrassment entertained her.
She turned to Neteyam. "Ah, my bigger baby." Her arms were stretched away from her sides, an invitation. Unlike Lo'ak, Neteyam didn't shy away from her affection.
He felt so nervous about the raid that his hands started to sweat, but his nerves weren't enough to scare him away. He wondered how Lo'ak looked so calm, excited even. They were actually going to witness up close the damages the RDA could bring. But being wrapped around his mom's warmth relaxed him, even if it was just for a little while.
"Mom, are you in sky team?" he asked.
Veronica shook her head. "No, I am part of the ground team. Your mother is the one in sky team."
Neteyam felt a gentle kiss against his temple. She stepped back, her hands squeezed his shoulder comfortingly. "Everything will be fine, Teyam."
He thought hearing those words again would make him feel better, but it didn't.
Veronica wondered if her mother ever felt this way: her heart racing from anxiety, a knot in her stomach, and the palms of her hands sweaty just for being worried for her own daughters' safety. Although the chances are highley unlikely, it didn't hurt to wonder. She would consider her mother lucky if she had never felt that way because then she had nothing to fear.
The moment she didn't see her two sons in the sky like they were supposed to, panic started to kick in. She spotted their ikrans staying on the ground, their riders nowhere to be seen. Just as she was about to alarm Jake, gun ships came and fired at them.
Veronica hurried to take cover, not leaving her any time to search for her sons. She prayed that they were safe, and that everyone managed to escape the shots. She only felt her worries fade away when she saw Lo'ak flew away on his ikran, but it soon came back when Neteyam was being carried by Jake. He had scratches on his back, blood seeping out from it. Did every mother experience this?
They were currently at High Camp. She carressed Vera's head before approaching the boys.
"Mom! Mama!" Tuk ran towards the two women and tried to hug them both with her small arms. The youngest Sully would often call either of the mothers with different names, not that they mind. Like Lo'ak, Tuk didn't stray away from her habit in calling Veronica mama, but she does call Neytiri this sometimes.
Veronica smiled and pinched her cheek gently. She patted the small girl's back when she moved away, and continued to walk towards the boys. Neteyam stood in front of his father, his head hung low as he held his injured arm. Lo'ak stood still by his ikran, nervous for what's to come. How ironic.
"You're supposed to be spotters. You spot bogeys, and you call 'em in," Jake scolded furiously, his eyes dancing between them. "From a distance!" he emphasised. "Does any of this sound familiar? Get here!"
Lo'ak obeyed and stood beside his brother, ashamed. Veronica observed her youngest sons' back before she went to Neteyam who was injured. She clicked her tongue gently as she surveyed his injuries. There were numerous scratches on his back, but some cut deeper than the others. Kiri rushed to her side once she saw the condition her brother was in.
"Jesus. I let you two geniuses fly a mission, and you disobey direct orders." Jake sighed, "Kiri, can you go help your grandmother with the wounded? Please?"
"My brother is wounded," she pointed out.
"Baby girl, please. Tuk, go with her. Go."
Kiri sighed as she shook her head, walking away with Tuk.
"Dad– sir. I take full responsibility," said Neteyam, his head hung low still.
"Yeah, you do. That's right. 'Cause you're the older brother, you gotta act like it."
Neytiri gave her husband a pointed look. "MaJake. Your son is actually bleeding."
Neteyam shook his head. "Mother, it's fine. I-"
"No, it's not," Veronica cut him off. She looked at Jake with an arched eyebrow.
His gaze shifted between Neteyam's face and his injured body. For a moment, his anger diminished. "Just go and get patched up. Go on, dismissed."
"Come," she whispered for the young boy to hear. Her hand held his bicep as they walked past Jake. She shot Jake a knowing look before walking further, passing by warriors who were getting situated.
They walked in silence, and Neteyam was not sure if it was comfortable or not. He hadn't experienced getting a scolding from his mom, it would either be from his mother or father. Usually Jake on rare occurrences.
Neteyam pursed his lips. "Mom," he called weakly.
"How many times did you save your brothers back?" she asked softly.
He stayed silent.
"I know you are doing your job as the older brother, and you are doing it really well. But, a time will come when Lo'ak will have to grow too. He has to learn how to own up to his mistakes." Veronica held his shoulders, stopping him from entering the Tsahik's hut. She moved in front of him, cupping his cheek gently and made him look at her. "You do not have to try so hard. You are just a kid."
Neteyam's eyes widened, his eyes turning glossy. He wasn't so sure why his chest started to hurt. Maybe it was because his hard work was being acknowledged, or maybe it was because someone saw that he was trying. Couldn't his dad see that too?
As Veronica patted his cheek gently, she smiled, "Go on. I'll be right with you."
The boy only nodded, he feared that if he tried to speak, his voice would crack and tears would start spilling from his eyes. Her eyes searched for Lo'ak through the crowd and spotted him with the ikrans, removing the saddles. The upset look on his face made her sigh.
Mo'at crouched behind Neteyam's back as she applied medicine on his injuries. He would either yelp or hiss at the contact of his wounds. Spider was in the hut too, he would make jokes here and then about how Neteyam was acting like a baby out of it just to make him feel better. Veronica laughed quietly at his words. She was relieved that the tension wasn't there anymore, she didn't know if she could bare it.
Her eyes trailed from Neteyam's back then outside the hut, sensing a presence. She locked gazes with Neytiri before it shifted to Jake's back, busying himself with his gun. Veronica excused herself and told Kiri to take over, approaching Neytiri. The hair at the end of her tail brushed against her wife's thigh as she gave her a peck on the lips.
Neytiri's hand caressed her arm, but her eyes stayed on the boys. Neteyam's grunts of pain could still be heard from where they're standing. He never had injuries like this, never this worse. Her tail swished behind her like something was on her mind.
Jake glanced behind him. He sighed, "What?"
"Neteyam and Lo'ak try to live up to you. It is very hard on them," said Neytiri. She faced her husband expectantly.
"I know." He refused to meet their eyes and focused on the weapon in his hand.
Neytiri kneeled beside him. "You are very hard on them."
Veronica sat beside the other side of Jake to hear their conversation better. Their voices were low to ensure that none of the children heard it.
"I'm their father. It's my job," he pressed.
"This is not a squad. It is a family." Her voice remained soft, and it was enough to break his walls down.
Jake placed his gun on the ground, clenching his fist on his knees. "I thought we'd lost them," he whispered. Tears glossed into his eyes as he looked at the two women, the only people who he could feel vulnerable around with.
It was difficult to stay away from long-term habits. Being a marine meant seeing a lot of difficult situations, he was forced to keep it together and be tough. Seeing his sons affected by the explosion made him lose all of his composure and he didn't know how to deal with it. He was still learning, but everytime he felt like he was getting better, his progress ruins.
Neytiri's expression softened, her eyebrows slightly furrowed as she held his hand. Veronica placed her hand on his thigh, squeezing it gently. No word was said to one another except giving each other comfort. Each parents feared the same thing: losing their child. Parenthood was difficult, but if the three of them were in it together, Jake felt like he will be fine.

Tristan Flynn x Reader
Masterlist - Join My Taglist!
Written for Fictober 2024!
Fandom: Crescent City
Day Twenty-One Prompt: "We've done worse."
Summary: Tristan and his SO are in the van working together to help Lidia, Ruhn, Hunt, and Baxian escape. It's the mission of a lifetime, and they can't afford to fail.
Word Count: 2,534
Category: Fluff, Humor, Angst

"Alright, are you two set?"
I leaned forward and picked up the radio on the dash, holding down the button to reply.
"Set."
"Good. They're on their way out now. I'll give you a signal when they clear the gates."
"Copy."
I set the radio back on the dash, then took a deep breath and started the car. A moment later, I felt a warm, familiar hand resting on my thigh.
"I heard what you said to Dec, but I feel like it's my job as your boyfriend to ask: you ready for this?"
I huffed a laugh and turned to look at Tristan Flynn, sitting in the passenger seat of the van next to me. We'd been here for the better part of an hour now, doing my least favorite part of a mission: waiting.
Our friends had been captured by the Asteri, and we'd finally figured out a way to get them back. It wasn't going to be easy, but it was a chance, and not one of us had hesitated to take it. For Tristan and I's part, we'd be providing support for our friends' getaway car. Tristan would put his Aux training to the test and provide firepower, while I'd be living up to my driving reputation behind the wheel.
If things were going according to plan, Lidia would be on her way out of the Palace of the Asteri with our friends in tow. They'd be racing through the city streets in moments, and we'd meet them there. My heart raced, mostly at the thought of everything that could go wrong, but I nodded anyway as I laid my hand on top of Tristan's.
"Yeah... yeah, I'm ready. Just... worried."
"About?"
"Something going wrong when we're still too far away to help."
I turned to face Tristan as he nodded, giving my thigh a little squeeze. We shared a small smile.
"I know how you feel. We've just gotta trust them to take care of themselves until they can get to us. And then nobody coming after us will stand a chance."
I huffed a laugh, the smile on my face growing a little more sincere. Tristan never failed to make me feel better, even in the face of ridiculous life-threatening situations that had become all too normal in the past few weeks. I shook my head.
"I can't believe we're about to go racing through the streets of the capital city as part of an insane jailbreak from the most fortified jail in the world." Tris just shrugged.
"We've done worse."
"Babe. Literally what have we done that's worse than this?"
"How about the time you came as my date to a Lord Hawthorne function and had to sit through dinner with my entire family?"
I snorted. "Okay, that was worse."
The two of us shared a smile and a little laugh, the moment fading to something slightly more sincere as we held hands, staring into each other's eyes waiting for Dec's signal. We both knew what was at stake if something went wrong today. Not just for our friends, but for each other. The Asteri were brutal, and I wasn't going to let them get their hands on my boyfriend.
The radio crackled to life. "Alright, Daybright's heading to the gate! She got everybody out, but they've already got people trying to take them out. They'll be on you in a minute, get ready to go!"
I snatched up the radio and gave Dec another "Copy" before taking the car out of park and shifting into gear. Tristan leaned over, gently grabbing my chin and pulling me in for a fast, hard kiss. He pulled back, his eyes holding mine for just a moment, his expression unusually serious.
"We've got this, sweetheart. Let's show those bastards just who they're messing with."
I nodded, heart racing in my chest, and Tristan climbed into the back of the van. I heard him getting his gun ready and moving towards the van's sliding door, ready to provide support when we met up with Lidia and the rest of our friends. I took a deep breath, getting my head in the zone.
Right on cue, I heard an engine roaring from around the corner of the alley we were hiding down. I timed my exit perfectly, tearing out onto the street and falling immediately alongside Lidia in her jeep. I nodded to Lidia as I pulled alongside her, then a little bit ahead. I heard the sliding door of the jeep open.
"Where the fuck is your hand?" Tristan shouted. I could barely make out the words over the road noise and gunfire, and frankly, I didn't really want to know who his question had been addressed to.
Even if I'd wanted to, I didn't have the extra bandwidth for it, either. A pedestrian stepped out into the street, and I had to swerve to avoid them. I popped down a side street, not exactly our planned path, but not one that would be a problem either. We ended up flanking some of the forces on Lidia's tail, and Tristan took them out one by one.
A moment later, the radio crackled to life, the next part of our plan ready to go. I took a deep breath and redoubled my focus on the road ahead of me, buildings and people flying by. We were about to burn down the Spine, starting in the Eternal City; things were going to get a little wild.
I managed to fall into line with Lidia again as we neared the end of a massive street heading straight out of the city, explosions echoing in the distance. I heard Tristan shouting again, making sure our allies knew the plan.
"We'll cover the highway. Get to the port!"
After a moment, the van door slide shut again. Tristan was climbing his way back to me, but I didn't even glance at him. My attention was otherwise occupied.
Based on Lidia's intel, Mordoc and his dreadwolves, the biggest threat to our group's success, would be coming out of the southwestern gate. Now that Tristan and I had helped with the firefight through the city, we were going to try to make some trouble for the dreadwolves.
I took a deep breath as I hit another open road, only to find the southwestern gate closing quickly ahead of me. I swore under my breath and floored it, while Tristan rolled down his window and took a few shots at the people in the gate's guard station. I grit my teeth as we neared the rapidly-closing steel. It was going to be close, but we had to make it out of this city.
"Holy shit," Tristan breathed as we squeezed through the gate, steel scraping against the roof of our car and pushing our van down to the limit of the shocks. Our back bumper hit the road as we just managed to clear the city wall, and next to me, Tristan let out a whoop. "That's right! Nice work baby!"
I laughed, unable to stop a grin at getting through our near miss. We were nowhere near out of the woods yet, though—I had a pack of dreadwolves to catch.
"How did he look?" I asked, sparing just enough attention to glance at Tristan. "Ruhn."
"Bad. But he'll survive."
I let out a little sigh of relief. I'd come to care a lot about Hunt and Baxian, too, but Ruhn had been in my life a lot longer. Almost as long as Tristan. He was like a brother, and I felt a weight ease off my chest with the knowledge that he was going to be okay.
Assuming we could all make it back to the Depth Charger alive, of course.
"Alright. Time to lap these fuckers," I said, locking back into the zone and racing down the highway ahead of us. I didn't need to look at my boyfriend to know he was grinning.
"Go get 'em, babe."
The rest of the world faded out around me as I focused on driving as fast as possible, closing distance on the dreadwolf guard ahead. We had a limited window to slow them down before we had to peel off and make our own escape, and I wanted to make the most of it.
Lo and behold, I rounded a corner and exited flat out, and the tail end of the dreadwolf pack came into view on the road ahead.
"There we go! Holy shit, I love you," Tristan said next to me. I laughed, still not taking my attention off the road.
"I'm glad you're into this. My driving scared off a couple of people before you."
"Ha. Wimps."
I smiled, working to close the gap ahead enough for Tristan to get a clear shot. We only had another few minutes before we'd need to peel off for the sub. I needed to make them count.
About thirty seconds later, we were in reasonable range for Tristan to do his part. He popped out of the sunroof, bracing himself on the seat as he held his rifle up to his shoulder. I did my best to keep the car steady and in a straight line, and a moment later, I heard the bang of Tristan firing above me.
I kept my eyes on the cars ahead. Mordoc was running with a convoy of four cars, but if we could even take out one of them, it might make the difference for our friends' getaway.
Right on cue, I saw both back tires blow on the car closest to us. I moved to one side so we could pass them, and Tristan ducked down to avoid a few errant bullets as we sped by. Luckily for us, as planned, Mordoc had decided Lidia and our friends were the bigger prize. He didn't even slow down, although he couldn't have missed the loss of one of his cars.
"Time?" Tristan shouted down to me over the wind. I screamed back up at him to make sure he could hear me over the noise outside the car.
"Our turn's coming up fast! This is your last shot, so make it count and then get back in here!"
Tristan didn't respond. We were a little closer than we'd been to the remainder of the dreadwolf pack, and we'd taken out one of the four cars. Mordoc was obviously still untouched in the lead, but he'd at least have fewer numbers trying to catch up to Lidia.
I heard Tristan's gun fire two more times, and the back tires of the third car exploded. Unlike the first car, this one knew they were under fire and started swerving the moment their back end hit the road. They were trying to take Tristan and I out with them.
Tristan ducked back into the car, throwing his seatbelt on and closing the sunroof. And not a moment too soon.
I managed to control the car well enough to avoid the rapidly-slowing dreadwolf car, still chasing Mordoc to put distance between us and the angry dreadwolves behind us. The second car, the only one left besides the lead car with Mordoc, started slowing down like they wanted to do something about Tristan and I. But they were too late.
I kept up our speed until a few hundred meters before a side road, which Mordoc's cars had already passed. Then, I slammed on the breaks, slowing us down as much as possible before lifting off the breaks and turning into the corner. The tires on the van squealed, and I swear we almost went up on two wheels, but I didn't let it slow me down. I got back on the gas as we cleared the apex, tearing off down our escape road at mach 10.
"Are they following us?" I called over to Tristan. The road we'd turned onto was much narrower, and with trees and wildlife on either side, I didn't want to risk taking my eyes off the road to look in my mirrors if I didn't have to.
"No," came Tristan's reply after a moment. "If they were following us, they'd be in our mirrors already."
I let out a long breath and leaned back in the seat, relaxing my death grip on the steering wheel just a little. I kept our speed up, but now it was normal speed, not racecar speed.
"Nice work, babe," said Tristan. He reached over to put a hand on my thigh again, giving it a little squeeze. "That was great work."
"You too, Tris. Best marksman I've ever seen."
I spared a second to glance over at my boyfriend, and I found him grinning at me, a wild look in his eyes. I smiled back. All I wanted to do was lean over and kiss him, but technically, we weren't quite out of the woods yet.
Tristan kept an eye on the mirrors and had his gun at the ready as I refocused on the road. It felt like an eternity, but finally, we made it to one of the Depth Charger's launches which would be taking us and our van back to the ship.
When we pushed off of shore, out into the ocean, I took my hands of the wheel and my feet off the pedals for the first time in way too long. I flopped over sideways, resting my head on Tristan's shoulder.
"Great work, sweetheart," he said quietly, rubbing small circles against my thigh. "Seriously. That was amazing."
"Thanks. Have you- I wasn't paying attention to the radio. Did Dec call with any updates?"
Tristan shook his head. "Not yet. But we gave them a good opening. And they're all strong as hell."
"Yeah."
We fell silent for a moment after that. I couldn't help the seed of worry burrowing into my brain, spinning out with a thousand different scenarios of ways our rescue may have gone wrong. Tristan, my wonderful boyfriend, knew me well enough to notice.
"They're okay," he said, moving to wrap an arm around my shoulders and squeezing me against his side. "I'm sure they are. They made it, and we're gonna hug the shit out of them the minute we get back to the ship."
"...How can you be so confident? Mordoc and one of his other cars got away from us. What if-"
"Nope. We're not doing what ifs. I know they made it, because they're almost as badass and capable as we are. There's no way that shithead and his attack dogs managed to stop them."
I snorted, burying my head into Tristan's chest to stifle a further laugh. Nobody else could lift me out of a funk like he could.
The two of us stayed like that, sharing a rare moment of quiet together, until the Depth Charger came into view. I sighed.
"Thanks, Tris. Now come on, we've got friends to check on."
"Can't wait until they're all healthy again and we can compare stories. We did some badass stuff out there, I don't want anybody forgetting it."
"Assuming our friends are fine, and we get the happy ending we're aiming for? I'm not letting anybody forget the time we ran down the dreadwolves and took out half their pack in a matter of minutes. Hunt and Bryce might be the magical chosen ones or whatever, but as far as I'm concerned, we're the best power couple of them all."

Aww, I'm glad I could provide the details you're looking for! ^.^ I can assure you, anon, that people know about Axl and Erin, they just don't like talking about it, and I don't blame them lol. It is a rather complex matter. One that is depressing, to say the least. I will try my best to explain what happened in their relationship while analyzing the outcome(s) on why certain situations unfolded the way they did. The reasoning wasn't "just because he or she felt like it." There's much more to the story. And I'll try to provide both perspectives so we have a clear, broader picture.
After I'm done sharing this novel, I don't want to discourage you, or have you view Axl in a negative light. He was going through his own personal issues at the time, and while that doesn't justify what he did to Erin, it explains how broken of a man he was, trying to fight off his own demons, only to be consumed by them.
**trigger warnings for sexual abuse, rape, and violence**
Erin Everly and Axl Rose
In 1986, Erin and Axl met at an L.A. party. This was Erin's first relationship while it was Axl's second relationship. His first girlfriend, also high school friend, was Gina Siler, and they dated between 1982-1983. Since Erin didn't have any sexual encounters with other boys prior, she wasn't very experienced in "pleasing" Axl. I can imagine she lost her virginity to him, but it sounded like Axl wasn't willing to teach her how to please him in the bedroom. Instead, Axl wanted another girl to tutor Erin, but the idea never came to fruition, probably because Erin would've been against the idea.
The two lived in an apartment and Erin did modeling on the side to support themselves while Axl was involved in his bands. Erin mentions how Axl had a quick temper and that little things would set him off, like stubbing his toe, being woken up from a phone ringing, or hearing Erin cry in the bathroom. This caused him take out his anger on her. She suspected it was because she was an "easy target." On one occasion, Axl removed all the doors from their hinges in the apartment so he could monitor Erin's movements. During one of their many arguments, Axl, who weighed 140 lbs at the time, pushed an entire piano from the balcony's window. He even yanked telephones from the walls and destroyed various items.
Meegan Hodges-Knight, Slash's then former girlfriend, and Erin's roommate, described some disturbing encounters between the two. "I'd wake up to Erin saying, 'Please, stop. Don't hurt me, don't hurt me, and Axl screaming at her... And then, all of a sudden, he'd come out and he'd like, break all of her really precious antiques, and she would be, 'Please, don't break them, please.' And trying to get them back from him. And he'd push her and he'd break everything he could get his hands on...l remember sleeping and waking up to a crystal flying over my head, shattering on the floor."
One night, while Erin was wearing a see-through tank top and panties, Axl dragged Erin by the hair, kicked her with his cowboy boots, threw a tv set at her, and spit on her. Let me just clarify something here. We don't know what happened on this particular day, or night, that made Axl snap. Maybe it was because Erin was wearing this attire, or maybe something else happened that pissed Axl off, and he took his anger out on his girlfriend. My other guess is... Erin was wearing this while Meegan and Slash were there, and Axl thought it was immodest and had the mindset of, "she should only be wearing this stuff around me, not flaunting it around other people" kind of thing. But I can't confirm, it's only a theory.
Moving on. Erin was in a bikini, probably getting ready to sunbathe, until Axl ordered her to take it off. Once she did he tied her hands to her ankles from behind, put masking tape over her mouth, wrapped one of his bandanas around her eyes, and led her into a closet, naked, where she remained for several hours as Axl talked to one of her friends in the living room. Later, when Axl returned to the closet, he untied Erin, picked her up, and tied her, face down, to a convertible bed. He then raped her anally and forced his cock into her mouth.
Hopefully you're not too traumatized, anon. I would like to switch gears here and talk about Axl's upbringing. I'm not sure how much you know about him, so this might either be new information you haven't heard before, or old news lol.
Axl's childhood was a nightmare and it began when he came out of his mother's womb, literally. His father molested him when he was a baby, then, by the age of two, his dad kidnapped him and anally raped him. His mother left his first dad and found another husband where they had two more kids, Amy and Stuart. But his stepdad wasn't any better. He would take Axl to a museum on multiple occasions and rape him in the men’s bathroom stalls. His stepdad would also beat both him and Amy, even sexually abusing her. As a result of what both his fathers did to him, Axl was terrorized by nightmares throughout his childhood. This abuse also distorted his relationship with how to treat women. It made him view sex as an act of power and how sex leaves other people powerless after the deed is finished.
Axl noted, “I’ve had a lot of hatred for women. Basically, I've been rejected by my mother since I was a baby. She picked my stepfather over me ever since he was around and watched me get beaten by him. She stood back most of the time. Unless it got too bad, and then she'd come and hold you afterward. She wasn't there for me. My grandmother had a problem with men. I've gone back and done the work and found out I overheard my grandma going off on men when I was four. And I've had problems with my own masculinity because of that. I was pissed off at my grandmother for her problems with men and how it made me feel about being a man."
I don't think his mother could've done much by standing up for own children because his stepdad might've beaten her too. And if she did, they all probably would've been living on the streets with no food or a proper roof over their heads. But, again, these are my own speculated thoughts.
Anyways...back to the main lovebirds of this story. In 1987, Axl and Erin attended a barbecue at somebody's house in the Hollywood Hills. One spectator noticed how Axl took his anger out on Erin in public, not being phased by other people watching, as he pulled her hair and beat her up.
On April 27, 1990, Axl showed up at their condo, located above Sunset Strip, unannounced at 4 a.m. He told Erin he had a gun in his car and that if she didn't marry him he'd kill himself. What a way to propose, right? You might be thinking, "He didn't give her a choice. He threatened that decision on her.” I've thought that way about this situation for a while until another thought crossed my mind recently. By this point, Axl and Erin argued a lot. It was like a routine. Axl must've thought Erin didn't love him anymore and if she didn't marry him he had nothing else to live for since the love of his life would leave him. He probably felt like his life didn't matter if he couldn't have her, his sweet child. Luckily, Erin said yes, but she would have to fight to save him.
In the Don't Cry music video you see Axl and Stephanie fighting over a gun. This actually happened between Erin and Axl. Erin was in a physical match, trying to snatch the gun away from him. This went on for a while until Axl decided to let Erin win. So he gave up and let her have the gun, ending the fight.
Erin and Axl’s wedding photo
The two got married and by September Erin found out she was pregnant. They both always wanted to start a family, and this was a sign that their relationship was gonna get better in the future. Unfortunately, that was all short lived when Erin had a miscarriage in October. A few days after finding out, Axl got arrested for hitting his neighbor over the head with a wine bottle.
This event is pretty insane. Axl says his neighbor was "crazy" and that she was an obsessive groupie who played his own music loudly in her room. His neighbor, on the other hand, claimed Axl was the one playing loud music. She confronted him in the hallway that night, at 2 a.m., with a bottle of wine in her hand. I'm not sure how full or empty it was but it seems she was drinking from the bottle and she might've been tipsy. They got into an argument and Axl grabbed her keys, tossing them out his window. Axl claims that after he did that he closed the door and his neighbor started smashing her body against the doorframe, giving herself bruises. However, his neighbor said that after he threw her keys out the window he grabbed the wine bottle, draining the rest on the floor, and smashing it across her head. The police report indicated he emptied the bottle but no shards of glass were on the floor. I guess it was a matter of how hard he hit or not striking her at all.
Axl’s arrest in 1990
In 1991, Erin was cleaning Axl’s CD collection when he snapped at her for doing so. Erin states, "I didn't think I could survive mentally any longer; I was dying inside...At the door I turned around and said, 'I want you to look at me, because you're never going to see me again.’” Erin left Axl. He tried winning her back by writing her letters, sending her flowers, and caged birds for one full year. It was clear the two would never get back together again.
During her testimony in court, Erin reveals that Axl believed her and Stephanie Seymour were sisters in a past life and they were "trying to kill him." She also shared how Axl believed he was possessed by John Bonham. Not only that, Axl told Erin how she was an Indian who killed all their children, and that was the reason why he was so mean to her in this lifetime.
Many people, including Axl, have cited Erin to be the aggressor in the relationship and that Axl was only defending himself. A friend, who agreed to speak for him, conceded that the couple "did have a combative relationship. But," she adds, "Erin portrays herself as the victim and him as the evil aggressor. From what I witnessed, she was the aggressor." Maybe Erin might've pushed Axl's buttons a bit too far, resulting in numerous heated backlashes of shitting on each other. Did Erin not know her limit with Axl or did she know and choose to ignore it until he ruptured?
I have my own thoughts about Erin. I often think Erin was a very naïve, childish girl, who clung onto Axl like a needy puppy, mostly in times when he needed some space.
Even though they are a few years apart, I feel she was emotionally immature for him, whereas Stephanie was emotionally mature. Then there's arguments of how she was the keg to the gunpowder in their relationship. They both did things that hurt each other and they both made mistakes. They're both to blame. They have even acknowledged what went wrong in their relationship. One of the problems was they were both broken and they didn't know how to save each other because their inner kid loved each other too much.
This was Axl and Erin's relationship in a nutshell. You might be mortified at what you just read, but I assure you... Axl is in a much better frame of mind now and he got the help he needed. Erin might not be fully over him yet. I mean, how could she? He was her first true love. In 2013, she did sell all of his love letters, private pictures, clothes, and even his journals. Why she did this, I am not sure. But it was wrong on so many levels. I heard she might be writing her own book which may go into more detail on what else happened in her relationship with Axl. Keep in mind, though, her story is one-sided, as it is through her own perspective and not his. If she publishes it, and people read it, make sure to take into account how he was feeling and what might've provoked him. There's always a reason why shit happens the way it did.
If you have anymore questions or would like to discuss their relationship further, feel free to reach out! I'm curious to hear your own thoughts on this, anon <3
#😮💨#in conclusion: their relationship was fucked up on so many levels#axl rose#axl gnr#erin everly#guns n roses#guns n’ roses#cine has spoketh

She gave them all a hug and thanked them for being here to share this special day with her .
Rúben was busy fixing his 4 year olds bow tie then his son Rauw asked what's marriage. "Well Marriage is when two people love each other very very much and they want to be together forever it's not just that but they bring two families together"Rúben tried explaining to his son that's from a previous relationship but he had full custody of him because his mother just left one day. 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐌𝐘 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄
vi. big boy papers (0.85k written)
riki scoffed at sunoo's reply to his tweet. he was tired of this. tired of his friends treating him like a kid just because he was younger. i mean, he was only a year younger than jungwon but they didn't treat him like this. it was frustrating.
as he walked angrily in the direction of his shared apartment with the very friends he was upset with, he caught a glimpse of a familiar head of black hair wiping tables outside a cafe. ah, he forgot odd atelier was on the way home.
it was around 10:50am now and it was a fairly bright day so why was riki surprised when you turned around? your hair swaying from the light gust of wind that passed, the sun shining directly onto your face, making you squint a little. his heart rate picked up. you truly did live up to the nickname his little group of friends came up with.
an even stronger gust of wind passed, making your hair fly around, you struggling to keep it away from your face, even having to spit out a few strands that somehow made their way into your mouth. riki chuckled at this. you were cute.
you turned around at the sound, surprising riki as he halted his steps. he didn't even realise he was walking towards odd atelier as he was preoccupied with staring at you.
"hey, you're the one from last week," you noted, more to yourself than riki. "u–uh, yeah," riki scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. he didn't know whether to be embarrassed to be caught staring or honoured that you remembered him.
"sorry, by the way, i didn't mean to call you a high schooler. i swear i was gonna say it's a joke after. i didn't know your friends would tease you that badly over a passing comment," you start, moving over to wipe another table now but still paying attention to the boy.
"hey, no, it's fine. i'm used to it," he chuckles, despite very much being upset about it even now because of his friends. "you're alone today? were you about to come in or were you just passing by?"
riki's mind goes blank at this. he wasn't planning to even drop by odd atelier, really. his initial plan was to just play video games all day to let out his frustrations. but it won't hurt to sit around for a few hours if you were around for him to admire, right?
"i was about to come in actually, are you not open?" he asks sheepishly, looking into the cafe and noticing how the lights aren't turned on yet. "we open at 11! you're welcome to come in and sit first, my manager's almost done setting up everything," you give him a bright smile, eyes turning into crescents. he felt the blood rush up to his cheeks. why were you so cute?
"can i? i don't wanna trouble you guys," he once again scratches his neck in embarrassment. "no, of course you're not troubling us! come on in!" you usher him inside and direct him to the same table he sat with his friends almost a week ago. "i'm yn by the way," you say as he sits down at the table. "u–uh, riki. my name's riki."
"nice to meet you, riki! i'll be right back to let you know when we're ready to take orders!" you grin, to which he returns with enthusiastic nods, watching as you walked back into the pantry to probably talk to your manager.
riki lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding. he couldn't believe this whole interaction he just had with you. you were much more easygoing than you were that day when he and his friends visited. then again, his idiot friends didn't really let you joke with them. you did mention that you were about to say you were kidding that day but apparently sunoo and jungwon couldn't keep the teasing until they were at their tables.
he found himself staring at the direction you ran off to. you were so lovely —personality wise— despite having spoken to you for about 4 minutes only. he wonders if that's why you had a guard dog (read: donghyuck). because you were so likeable that everyone just feels the need to gatekeep you. he definitely would.
wait, what?
when he tweeted about stealing his jake hyung's pretty barista girl, he was sure he only meant it as a joke. but having gotten to talk to you and have a (4 minute) conversation with you, he couldn't help but feel giddy. he couldn't remember the last time he felt this way around a girl.
what's wrong with you, riki? you talked to her once and suddenly you like her? get a grip on yourself! the boy scolds himself internally. these feelings hitting him all at once were confusing him.
suddenly, all the lights in the store turned on one by one, reminding him that he had been sitting in the store before it even officially opened. he looked up to see you lightly skipping out the pantry and towards him, your now tied hair—you must've done it while you were in the back—bouncing along with you.
he tries to control himself but he couldn't help the smile that grew on his face as you stopped in front of him. he couldn't hear a single thing you said as all his brain could process was that cute smile on your face.
shit, maybe he might like you.

Second Chance|Levi x Evelyn AU
Request: A second chance one shot with Evelyn and Levi. They broke up but he’s been stalking her ever since conveniently showing up when she’s at her worst because he’s been waiting for this.
(A/N: The request is from me haha, I wanted to do something a little interesting and different so I hope you guys like it! I might have to do a part two, or a full series if anyone's interested, just let me know!)
WARNINGS: noncon/dubcon, graphic descriptions of violence, domestic violence, manipulation, mind breaking, yandere behaviour/themes, forced marriage, forced pregnancy, wishing rape upon someone, misogyny, mentions of child abuse, blackmail, revenge porn, murder, second chance, stalking, etc.
================================================
Evelyn had been blissfully free from her ex for months now. The only ties to him left the occasional time checking his social media and seeing what he was up to. It wasn't for being hung up on him or anything, it was more so making sure that he was moving on himself and was finally over it. Levi hadn't been entirely thrilled about the news that Evelyn wanted to break up and was kicking him out of their shared apartment.
He had been upset and brooding the whole time, asking her again and again if she was sure she wanted to do this. They could go to couple's counselling, work things out. This was a mistake, she was throwing away a whole relationship for what.
When he asked the reason she couldn't give a straight answer. The truth was he was controlling, everything from the way her hair was cut to her most recent manicure was all decided by him.
Currently her nails were being redone, Levi had sent her with a particular color, one that he later confessed with pride was the shade of his tip. That was the final straw, she was done with everything being about him and sex. Granted, she had lost her innocence to him and he never gave her a reason to hate it, but still. She was tired of that being all he cared about.
On his socials Levi was partying it up, showing him with his friends, going out to dinners, and acting as if she didn't exist. Her pictures with him were still up, but he supposed he couldn't make him go back and delete every memory over the past two years just because of them.
It brought her relief, she thought that he would be distraught, showing up at her apartment every day until she took him back. It was good to seem him move on in a healthy way.
She never had to worry about him again.
================================================
Levi hadn't moved on. Since he worked from home he set up one of his monitors for work and the other for the security system he had installed in their apartment before he left. He wanted to make sure no man came and tainted her from him. Levi wanted to see and hear what she was going through and know if she missed him, if she wanted him back, or if there was a weakness he could find.
So far nothing good had happened. Thankfully she was in a so called healing process so she wasn't interested in other men just yet. He had time.
With a sigh of finality Levi finished in time with his love, he had been watching her take care of herself through the camera, not mentioning another man's name either. He was sure she missed that aspect of him, even if she didn't admit it. Levi had left an imprint on her life that couldn't be so easily erased. He would come back and win her affections.
After Evelyn had finished she got a phone call with her friend, leaving it on speakerphone.
"So have you been missing Levi?"
"Well there's certain things I miss, but I'm better off without him."
"Move on girl, date some guys, hook up. Levi was your only guy so you need to get some experience."
"I don't think I'm ready for that just yet."
"Okay fine, but eventually. What about that cute guy at your work?"
"Warren? He's kind of out of my league."
"Are you serious? Levi was way hotter than he was and you had to end it with him!"
"Maybe, I'll give it a go. He's nice enough."
"Seriously, get out there. Have some fun, use protection."
"I will, you don't have to remind me."
"I think I do, I don't know but I wouldn't put it past Levi to baby trap you, and it worried me sometimes."
"Levi didn't know I was on birth control, it's okay."
"Good. Just try to forget about him."
"I will. Talk to you later."
They hang up, Evelyn looking happier, while Levi couldn't look more enraged. How dare she put ideas into Evelyn's head?! That was his girl, and now he had competition to work with? And she had been going behind his back this whole time. Evelyn would pay for this. He wouldn't take it lightly.
Levi would get back with her, and he would make her pay for what she'd done. Evelyn would love him again.

Synopsis: you want to take Christmas photos, Jey doesn’t. You always get your way somehow.
Warnings: whole lotta fluff
Word Count: 857
A/N: my first-ever request how exciting!! this is such a super fun n' cute idea, thank you for requesting <33
"You wanna do what now?" your husband questions as he looks up from his phone, staring at you like you have two damn heads. "I wanna take Christmas pictures this year Jey! I think it would be so much fun, dontcha think?" You and Jey had been happily married for about five years now and three years in, you welcomed your beautiful baby girl, Gia. You loved your little family, so why wouldn't you take family Christmas photos?
"Yeah?" he says sarcastically. "Yes, Jey!! And then we can get them turned into Christmas cards and send them out to everyone!" you tell him as you walk over to your shared bed, where he sits, following your moving figure. "Yeaa Im good on that one Uce."
"The hell you mean you good?" now it was your turn to question him.
"I just think that whole Christmas picture and cards thing is a lil corny." he shrugs his shoulders.
"Jey, you fuckin' with me right now?" you raise a brow.
"Whatchu' mean?" he looks back down at his phone, doing whatever he was doing prior.
"Joshua Fatu do not play stupid with me right now.". you fold your arms together, he was starting to piss you off, and that's the last thing he ever wants to do to you. He looks right back up to you, giving you all of his attention. "Okay, Okay, damn girl you got me. Can I at least think about it first?" You continue to stare at him.
"I ain't winning this one, am I"
"Not a chance."
a few days later...⋆˙⟡♡
Today, you planned for a photographer to come to your home and take your long-awaited Christmas photos. You're in your two-year-old daughter's room, getting her ready. "you look soo beautiful my love!" you tell Gia as you finish putting on her shoes. She gives you the cutest smile ever. Behind you, you hear Jey's footsteps coming closer to the room. He's wearing the ugliest Christmas sweater ever, and you love it. You decided the three of you would wear ugly Christmas sweaters to add some fun to the photos. " Well don't you look handsome!" you tease. You pick up Gia and walked towards him.
"I appreciate you being such a good sport, Jey." You give him a kiss that makes him smile ever so slightly. "Look at my baby! So damn pretty, just like her momma" He says taking your daughter from your grasp, attacking her with kisses. "Watch your damn mouth Jey," you say nudging him. "you know she's starting to repeat everything!" you don't realize until after you reprimanded him that you made the same mistake he did. He looks at you with a teasing grin.
"Don't you dare" you smile
"Oh my god, Y/N! Watch your mouth! She repeats everything"
You roll your eyes playfully as he brings the three of you into a hug.
⋆˙⟡♡
"Beautiful guys! Let's get a final one of yall together"
You hold your toddler in your hands while Jey hugs you from behind. The picture-taking had been going on for about an hour or two, and yall were ready to be done. "You know y/n, this ain't so bad." Jey tells you. "you see! I told you it would be fun" you say leaning into him.
"Perfert! Yall look great, the pictures came out great too." The photographer walks over to yall, showing the shots they got. You were in love with them. There were a mix of candid photos and ones you actually posed for. Some had the three of you, just your daughter, or just you and Jey. "Oh, babe!! I love them, whatcha think?" you say looking up at Jey. "My two favorite girls, lookin' beautiful as always". He kisses your forehead and looks at the photographer. "You killed that Uce, 'preciate it."
"I'll send em all to y/n once I get them all on the computer." The photographer begins to pack up their stuff. "Thanks again!" you say as he walks out. "Ion know bout you, but that bed upstairs is callin' my name." You laugh at his comment. "oh absolutely, it's nap time for all of us." You look at your daughter whos passed out on the couch.
⋆˙⟡♡
After a few weeks, you finally received the pictures and made them into Christmas cards.
"Hey Jey, come down here for a sec, I got somthin' to show you!" He comes down the stairs a few seconds later and heads towards you in the kitchen. "Wassup mama?". You hand him the card. "They finally came!" He looked at the card reading the text.
Merry Christmas From The Fatu Family! Love, Y/N, Joshua & Gia. Followed by a collage of many photos taken that day.
"They look great baby, thank you for doin' all this."
"Aww don't get all sappy on me now, I remember how much you hated the idea! Now look at 'chu." You both laughed.
"Yeah yeah whatever you say y/n," he says before kissing your forehead and going back upstairs.
Something tells you this is the start of a brand new tradition in your family.
Thank you for reading!! if you enjoyed please like n' reblog and let me know what you thought in the comments <3

Got two fanfics below the readmore, and a closing comic strip at the end of the fanfic showing what happens afterwards. So make sure to at least scroll to the bottom!
Sitting at the bar, a gay bar mostly frequented by lesbians which they had visited without incident a few times prior, Caprica alternated between sipping a drink, looking at her phone, and keeping an eye on Bob. Bob being currently disguised as Barbra, her "girlfriend" and former truck driver from out of town who’s been recovering from a car accident at her house.
It seemed everything was going pretty well. Bob's done a good job not being too suspicious and not breaking character, so she's been exploiting the bar over the past couple of days to keep Bob busy, and give herself a break from having the undivided attention of her obsessive stalker.
Though the unfortunate (in her opinion) trade off of being in a public location, is that sometimes people other than Bob will also take the initiative to bother her.
Case in point, as a lady sat in a barstool beside her, gesturing to get her attention and get Caprica to lean in a bit closer.
Saying in a bit of a hushed tone
"Hey, sorry to bother ya honey, but I figured I'd ask you instead. But Barbara's a Trans woman right?"
Oh… guess they clocked Bob. Still, that's a lot better than assuming he's a notorious criminal hiding out in disguise.
She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly.
"Uhhhhh…. Yeah. She… uhhh, she'd rather not talk about it."
"Yeah I understand. Just figured I'd ask since we've got a support group coming up, in case she wants to participate. You can let her know just in case I don't get the chance to talk with her privately for a minute."
"No, it's probably best if I let her know myself, so she won't… uhhh… I'll let her know."
"Alright, just get back to me if Barb is interested or not. No pressure though if she isn comfortable bringing it up."
"Yeah, we'll let you know."
And she got up and left to go mingle, leaving Caprica alone with her thoughts.
Damn, she should probably get ahead of this before Bob does anything too suspicious.
Sometime later, she and Bob sat in the big truck that used to belong to her grandfather, getting ready to go home, though she got Bob to pause for a bit for a chat.
"So there might be something we should go over in regards to your Barbra disguise. So just in case someone asks, let's go over what transgender means, and a few other relevant terms you should know."
"Well alright. If ya think it'll help."
(One explanation later…..)
"Alright, now say it back to me. Someone asks if you're a Trans woman, what do you think that means?"
Bob, with a bit of excitement in his tone, replies
"It means I'm a lady who hasn't chopped off her dick yet!"
"...."
"...."
"You know what, we'll work on that."
And they head home.
Another day, another time, but the same place, Caprica and Bob (disguised as Barbra) are sitting together at a table at the lesbian bar, sharing a plate of nachos.
Though Caprica was more eating a small bowl of jalapeño rings that came with the nachos than the nachos themselves.
And Bob was more enjoying teasing and flirting with his grumpy unsociable girlfriend than snacking.
Until they are rudely interrupted.
Two men, acting tipsy either from alcohol or their own egotistical self satisfaction, sleased over, one of them leaning against the table beside Caprica while the other stood behind her.
"Hey cutie, how'd you like to get with a real man?"
"Yeah, we’d be happy to show what you’re missing, hanging out with a bunch of slutty rug munchers like these."
Without skipping a beat though, and more of reflex than anything, Caprica deadpanned,
"Dude, this is a gay bar…. For gays. Quit flirting with people like me and go suck each other's faces instead."
And reached to take a sip of her drink.
Before her eyes glance over, and notice Bob's hand balled into a tight fist, which shook slightly with rage.
Caprica choked on her drink
OH SHIT RIGHT BOB!!!!!
These guys just… Oh shit. Right in front of Bob.
Trying not to let the nerves show in her voice, she says
"Okay, you…. You guys need to leave…"
Obviously not successful in putting up a brave front.
And the guys just leaned in a bit closer. Pitching their voices a bit lower to make it harder for any lookie-loos to hear them over the background music.
"Awwww, but we just got here! And somebody's gotta set these dykes straight, might as well be a couple of good Samaritans like us."
"Yeah, we'd be happy to show you chick's what dick tastes like."
SHIT what can she do!! These guys are literally digging their own graves! Eyes widening further in fear she glances between the guys and the barely disguised ball of murderous rage that was Bob.
Probably the only things keeping these two guys alive right now, was one… Bob being a bit of a slow thinker, taking a minute to figure out how exactly he was gonna murder these two. And two, that she makes him leave his knives at home when they go out in disguise so he couldn’t impulse stab as easily.
She makes a snap decision.
Maybe if she can make a scene first, Bob won't get the opportunity to do something drastic and reveal his identity in public.
She turns to glare at the two men, raising her voice to draw more attention and maybe get someone else to intervene first before any blood gets spilled.
"I am literally here with my fucking girlfriend!"
She says gesturing at Bob.
"Now unless you two assholes want the only thing you're ever known for around town, is that you two are the kind of guys to hit on other people's girlfriends, you'd better walk out those doors and never let anyone here see your faces ever again!"
And good lord, the condescending smugness of these dudes was palpable.
"Hey now, no need to get all hysterical on us."
"Yeah, how are we supposed to know if it's your time of the month or not?"
And the two snicker dumbly, while Capricas eyes dart around.
Two of the women from the dance floor, who were regulars at the bar, seem to have gotten the hint that something was up and were heading this way.
Though the two guys then continued, clearly trying to cover their ass now that there was a risk of witnesses.
"Hey, if you… two aren't in an uhhhh… open relationship you coulda just let us know and not get all upset over nothing.
"Besides, with how gross, fat, and hairy your girlfriend is, maybe you don't need a guy after all!"
Their condescending laughter peters out with a squeak of Bob's chair as he stands. The two men's courage faltering for a moment as they see his stature dwarfing the both of theirs.
The two women who had been making their way over also pausing at the sight, the anger in Bob's posture being clear even from across the room.
Though he keeps his tone even, and thankfully doesn't drop the feminine affect in his voice (and thus his disguise). And with a slow, controlled movement, he takes off his sunglasses, folds them, and hangs them on the collar of his funny 'my other ride is your mom' novelty shirt.
He then leans over, resting one hand on the table, and staring down the men with his big crazy eyes and deranged grin.
"You boys know what happens when you try hitting on another man's girlfriend right in front of them?"
One of the men puts up his hands in a timid ‘alright, calm down’ sort of gesture. Trying to be sassy as he says, "Hey, no need to HURK!!"
Bob snatched the man by the throat, cutting him off and startling his friend, along with Caprica
"HEY HEY HEY!!!"
"BARB DON'T!!"
Caprica shot up from her seat, as Bob calmly made his way around the table, gaze hungrily fixed on the choking man clawing at Bob's hand, trying to break the grip around his neck.
Though he's knocked out of his focus as the assholes friend winds up a punch, and clocks Bob in the face with an accompanying shout of,
"LET GO OF HIM YOU BITCH!!!"
Bob staggers at the hit, then stills, and turns his attention to the other man. Who's angry expression falters with fear as Bob meets his gaze.
Caprica scrambles over, trying to get between Bob and the man, but he is able to move past her easily to punch the guy in the gut, and he crumples, wind knocked out of him.
As Caprica, in a hushed worried tone, pleaded,
"Barb, we're in public Barb, people are watching, Barb. You know the rules, don’t break character."
And Bob, appearing not to listen, grabbed the other man by the collar of his shirt as he wheezed and tried not to fall over. Bob not obliging this man's attempt to stay upright, kicking out one of his legs so he tumbled, and the only thing keeping his head from smacking on the ground, being the shirt collar Bob held. Letting the second man be pulled along like a struggling sack of flour, all while still pulling the first man along by the neck, and starting to walk. Caprica still panicking in a hushed tone as by now the attention of the whole bar was on them, and a number of bystanders got closer to get a better view of the action.
"Come on Barrrb, think about you're doing, if you hurt them we can't come back…."
Bob started dragging the two men towards the front door of the bar, wide manic grin still on his face with each heavy step, and Caprica following along beside him, frantically whispering.
"They'll come and find us at the house, they might figure things out before we even get a real chance to run. Don't do this."
Bob kicks the door open, dragging the two struggling men out with him, letting one of the guys get smacked on the doorframe on the way out, and letting the door swing shut behind him.
Leaving Caprica looking nervously across the audience of mostly lesbians, many of whom were now chatting amongst themselves conspiratorially.
Caprica being too stressed to get a read on how the audience might be feeling about the whole affair and if they’ve turned against her and Bob or not.
But she does take a moment to consider since there weren't any windows to look out of, either on the door or the adjacent wall, maybe if she just stood here she could keep people from going out and witnessing Bob ripping them apart and calling the cops and escalating the whole thing and everyone finding out about Bob and Bob grabbing her before she can run and him getting taken to prison while she’s still stuck inside him and…
There's entirely too many people looking at her, so she goes out the door in a hurry.
She finds Bob standing there calmly, hands in his pockets, looking out across the street. His eyes glance down at her when she asks
"Where are the!!!!"
But she's interrupted as Bob gestures slightly with his head in the direction he'd been looking before, and Caprica can see the two men shambling off, one supporting the other with their arm across his shoulders to keep them steady.
Caprica lets out a huge wheezy breath, bracing against Bob with one hand as she doubles over and says,
"Oh thank fuck."
And Bob looks at her with a sly cheeky grin.
She takes a few more deep breaths to try and steady herself, Bob saying a teasing
"Y'all right there sweetiepie?"
"I'm just…. Wheeze, shit Bob…. Just…"
"Spooked ya good didn't I?"
She glares at him.
"Don't you go acting like some bastion of self control now you fucking asshole. I know you were barely an inch from ruining everything."
"Yeah, but it's still fun to watch you get mad about it."
Caprica presses her face into her hands and lets out a long annoyed tone to try and get the stress out,
"HHHHHRRRRRrrrrgggggg…. Come on…. We still gotta go back in there and sort this out. You're stable enough right?"
Bob chuckles in response.
And Caprica stands up straight with a clap of her hands and says
"WHELP! Alright it's settled! Let's just leave and never come back, and never speak of this again!"
Bob leans in, wrapping an arm around Caprica's shoulders tenderly and nuzzling against the top of her head while saying apologetically.
"Awww darlin, come on, you'll be okay, they ain't gonna…"
Bob's interrupted as the door beside them opens, it's the bouncer, who was looking thoroughly apologetic, along with someone who normally is working the bar, but from the more authoritative tone, they were probably a more managerial type on top of pouring drinks.
"Are you two alright? From the sound of it, one of them tried to grab Caprica and the other ended up punching you when you tried to stop them."
It not being lost on Bob that the events were already getting spun to make him and Caprica look more innocent and non-confrontational than they had been. Clearly, the community was gonna be much more invested in looking after their own than being sympathetic to a couple of assholes. And Bob was happy to lean into that impulse of theirs. After all, he quite liked it here too, even if it meant agreeing to expand his ‘dont eat the neighbors, that’s too suspicious’ compromise with Caprica to include ‘don’t eat anyone who’s clearly a lesbian. It is not a large community and word travels fast and it’ll be too suspicious’. Taking on a warm tone and shifting back into his feminine Barbra affect, he stands back to his full height, though keeping an arm around Caprica, and responds,
"Yeah, we're alright. Don't-chu worry."
"How about the two men?"
"I gave 'em an earful and let 'em limp off with their tail between their legs. Hopefully we won't be dealin with those two again any time soon."
The manager seems relieved, taking up a bit more confident, even somewhat protective tone as she responds,
"Alright, if they show up again and start getting butthurt about things and trying to twist everything around, we've got a bar full of witnesses to let the authorities know how big of a creep those guys were. And of course, it should go without saying that those guys are banned for life."
The bouncer holds open the door for them, the manager trying to usher them both inside.
"Come on, I'll give you both a free drink, or maybe something to eat to help ya calm down, or heck, both if you want. And let's get you an ice pack for that bruise Barbra."
Though with Caprica being obviously the more nervous of the two, the bulk of the fretting quickly turned to her, giving Bob a moment to fidget with what he had in his pocket.
The source of why Bob was able to do an emotional 180 so quickly, and turn so calm and confident after the insults and the jealous, possessive rage.
Taking them out covertly for a moment to examine.
Two leather wallets. And flipping open the top one, a drivers license can be clearly seen in the transparent pouch, belonging to the man he had threatened to strangle to death.
A drivers license and thus, a name, and an address.
Bob's grin widened with sinister glee, before he stowed the mens wallets away, and followed the group inside.
Then, the following night...

long to be home. (chapter one)
pairing: huang renjun x female!reader
series genre: fluff, angst, suggestive, eventual smut
word count: 4.8k
chapter warnings: fluff, angst, slightly suggestive, talks of smoking, daddy issues, english dialogue is in italics, korean dialogue is normal, renjun is so hot it makes me sad, i want a renjun in my life, mentions of stealing cars, swearing.
a/n: ahh, i'm so sorry for taking so long to update! i've had this in my drafts for a while but i had a (very expensive) family emergency hence my long absence. but i'm back now and hopefully updating more often! please enjoy.
renjun had a concentrated look on his face as he fixed your cap and mask, "remember, my love. we need to be extremely discreet. no mask or hat removals unless absolutely necessary. at least until we reach the flight lounge."
you nodded your head, leg shaking up and down in the car as it pulls up to the airport drop off zone. the anxiety is really start to bubble up at this point. renjun can instantly tell and grabbed onto your hand that was in your lap, giving a quick squeeze for assurance.
the driver put the car into park and jumped out of the car to help unload yours and renjun's bags. the two of you exited the car, seeing that there was barely anyone around which instantly put half your mind at ease. renjun made his way from his side of the car towards you on the path, grabbing his bags. "you ready?" he asked.
you grabbed your bags as well, letting out a sigh. "as ready as i'll ever be."
the jets roared to life as the plane began to take off the incheon runway. the loving boyfriend renjun is, booked first class tickets for the two of you, so you could feel more relaxed about the upcoming few days. thankfully, the plane was a quiet one with only about ten other passengers on the 3am flight.
as the plane began to ascend, renjun turned to you in the daybed the two of you were sharing. "alright, let's go over the plan again. your friend picks us up, takes us to the hotel, we get checked in and then.." renjun trailed off, waiting for you to finish his sentence.
"we get dressed and go surprise my mum."
"wait, she doesn't know you're coming?" renjun asked surprised. "i thought everyone would know you're coming."
"i thought i'd be nice to surprise her! i haven't seen her in nearly two years." you said, pouty.
renjun laughed, throwing his head back. "what if she's not home?" he asked, still laughing.
you thought about it for a second, "then i'll just let myself in."
he kept laughing, just a lot softer this time. "baby, how are you supposed to let yourself in?"
you hold up your index finger to his lips over his mask, giving him an playful annoyed look. "it doesn't matter. we'll figure something out."
renjun nodded, grabbing your wrist and pulling it down onto the pillow where your heads were resting. "alright. and.. have you spoken to your father about coming?"
your face dropped at his question. "uh, no not yet. i'm honestly not sure if i want to see him." you mumbled, recalling the memories of your father in the last year of being in australia. as if watching your already broken family fall apart even more wasn't bad enough, your father turned into a man you didn't even recognise anymore. he turned from an emotionally unavailable father into a drunk, drugged up angry narcissist.
your boyfriend nodded, putting his arms under his head. he just stared, waiting for you to continue at your own pace. "i vowed never to see him again but.. at the same time i want closure? i absolutely resent him. i bet you, we could go to any place in australia and he would've ruined it for me somehow. he's done that much damage." you resumed.
a sigh left renjun's lips as his hand comes up to rub circles onto your waist. "i understand. have your siblings seen him since everything went down?" he asked.
"i don't think so." you replied.
"that's alright. you guys do what you have to do."
"ugh, i love how supportive you are. no matter what. i love you so much." you sighed, wrapping your arms around his head and neck, pulling him to your chest. he reciprocated the hug, nuzzling into your chest.
"is there anything i need to know about your family before i meet them? it'll be the first time. please give me a run down on them so i don't mess up. saying a quick hi on the phone is very different than actually meeting them." he mumbled into your top.
you pulled away, "oh baby, you might wanna sit up for this. it's a lot."
he sat up on the daybed, following your actions. "alright i'm ready."
"my mum, sooyoung, she is.. pretty much me. we have the same personalities. please don't go into shock about how we treat each other. it's just how we roll."
renjun nodded intently.
"my step dad, david, is australian. i've only met him once when they came to visit before me and you even met. he's super lovely. he treats mum well so that's all that matters. there is one problem though. he only speaks english."
your boyfriend ran his hands over his face, groaning. "shit, i'm not confident enough to have full conversations in english."
you leaned over, grabbing his hands away from his pretty face. "baby, trust me. you'll be fine. you speak english really well. if you get stuck, i'll be there to translate. or mum or my siblings." you assured him, giving the backs of his hands a quick kiss.
he let out a deep breath, nodding his head. "alright, tell me more about your siblings."
"well.. let me make it easy. think about pokemon. sunhi, my older sister, is the original, boring one. jae, my younger brother, is the next evolved one. kinda boring but also kinda fun. then i'm the most evolved because i think i'm the best sibling." you explained, hoping not to sound too crazy.
renjun stared at you confused, his mouth slightly agape. you mumbled a quick, 'what?' due to your confusion from his reaction. "did you really compare you and your siblings to pokemon?"
you nodded your head excitedly, "yeah! trust me, it'll make sense once you meet them. they will definitely torment you for the first few hours so just brace yourself for it. they would just want to approve of you. i also have two stepsisters but i've never met them personally. all i know is that they like dolls and kpop."
your boyfriend sighed, eyes flicking around the place as he mumbles to himself, trying to absorb all of the info. "okay, i think i got it. i just hope they like me." he pouted, feeling a bit nervous himself.
"oh my baby, come here." you said, pulling him into a quick hug. "you'll be fine."
"they know i'm an idol, right?"
"uhm.."
"right?"
after clearing customs and baggage claim, you and renjun walk into the waiting area of the international arrivals lounge at the airport. the sun was starting to set as the time was around 5pm. the lounge was packed and loud with people sitting and standing all over the place.
"shit." you whisper under your breath, the mask helping to muffle the sound. "can you see lia?" you asked, pushing the trolley away from the main door to try and have a better look for her. all of a sudden, you hear a squeal and see a bright green poster wave in the air.
"found her." renjun laughed, walking towards the sign. finally lia emerged from the sea of people with a bright smile on her face. she comes running to you, to which you embrace her in a big hug. her giggles vibrate on your chest before the two of you pulled away.
"hi guys! welcome to australia." she exclaimed excitedly, showing off the sign. you and renjun inspected it before you gasped and quickly snatched it out of her hands. renjun tried to grab it off you, wanting to have another look.
"please, i wanna see the photos!" renjun argued playfully before you finally gave up and let him look at the sign again. glued onto the sign was big, bold letters reading 'welcome home' along with photos of you and lia from the two of you were in high school, many years ago.
"lia.. you are off to a bad start." you sighed with your face turning extremely red.
"y/n, you were so cute with your little glasses and high ponytail!" renjun cooed, rolling the poster up and putting it with your luggage. "hi lia, i'm renjun. it's so lovely to finally meet you in person." he formally introduced, holding his hand out for lia to shake.
"oh renjun, as long as you treat y/n well then there is no need for formalities." she smiled, pushing his hand away and pulling him into a hug instead. renjun sighed and hugged her back, happy that he's already got the approval of someone important. "besides, you've heard so many of mine and y/n's in depth and gross stories over the phone that i think it'll be weird for you to be so formal."
renjun pulled back from the hug, nodding his head with an embarrassed look plastered on his face, "yeah, i think you're probably right about that."
"should we get this show on the road?" lia asked, waving her car keys.
"oh shit. renjun, did we pack any helmets? we'll need them with her driving." you groaned.
"hey!"
after getting checked in and ready at the hotel, the three of you piled into the car and began your adventure to your mum's house. music hummed softly in the background as stared at the streets passing by.
"are you ready to meet them, renjun?" lia asked, peering at your boyfriend through the rearview mirror. you looked over your shoulder for renjun's response.
he let out a shaky breath, nodding his head slowly. "i think so. it's my first real relationship so i've never had to meet anyone's parents before."
you reached your hand back, placing it onto his knee and giving it a gentle caress. "you'll be fine, baby. just be yourself."
he smiled gratefully, placing his hand on top of yours. "do i look okay? first impressions are vital."
you scanned over his outfit quickly, taking in the black trousers and green blouse unbuttoned slightly. "you look amazing in anything, renjun. it makes me so envious." you sighed, turning back around to face the front. "do i look okay?"
lia shakes her head, laughing at herself. "you look like shit."
you quickly punched her arm, "shut up."
she squeals at the sudden attack, still laughing. "i'm kidding dude. you look cute." you glance down at yourself, hoping the blue, floral wrap dress was appropriate enough for the upcoming reunion.
"i hope so."
"why are you so nervous?" lia asked, finally starting to calm down.
"it's just so weird to be back. what if it's awkward? i left everything behind. besides being anxious about that, i feel like i've gone back to when i lived here and i'm the helpless teen girl who had no idea how to deal with any of her shit." you sighed, throwing your head back into the seat.
lia hummed, understanding your point. "it makes sense. i can't exactly comment about how you're feeling, well, because it's your feelings. but your family won't be awkward around you, i promise you. you didn't leave them behind, you left to move forward in your life. they know that. but you also gotta remember the good stuff too."
you let out a flabbergasted laugh, "what good stuff? my head is clouded with all the shitty stuff."
"remember how we used to steal your sister's car? all the late night maccas runs we had? the adventures we'd have when you needed to get away? all the times we'd go to the beach after school instead of studying?" she asked.
"you stole your sister's car?" renjun exclaimed, leaning forward in between yours and lia's seats.
you nodded, reminiscing the times. "you'd understand why we'd steal her car when you see it." the roads became more familiar and soon enough, the street you grew up came into view.
"you ready, y/n?" lia asked, turning down the street. you hummed, nodding once more with your best friend parking on the driveway.
"ready as i'll ever be." you sighed, getting out of the car.
the white two-storey house stood in front of you. everything was still the same. the trees surrounding the front of the house, the doormat, garden gnomes from your childhood tucked into the maintained gardens, the single frangipani tree leading the way to the back of the house.
everything was still the same except now when you look at the house you once loved and called home, an uncomfortable feeling sat in your chest.
[flashback to 2018]
"i'm not fucking doing this." you mumbled, grabbing the clothes inside the wardrobe and throwing them roughly into the suitcase laid out on the bedroom floor.
"y/n.. what are you doing?" jae peeked into the room, concerned plastered all over his face. your older sister, sunhi, standing behind him with a knowing look.
you laughed tiredly, "i'm leaving. i'm not staying one moment more. they're arguing again. i can't stand it any longer."
sunhi lightly nudged jae out of the way, moving towards your shaking figure. mascara stained your cheeks from all the tears that couldn't seem to stop. your breath began to go the same speed as your racing heart.
hyperventilating, sunhi grabbed onto your arms gently and led you to your bed. "slow down. breathe." she instructed, sitting next to you and holding you close.
after several moments, your breath finally slowed down. you looked to your older sister, silently asking her for help. "i.."
"you're leaving for good? it's about time." she finished your sentence, knowing her sister intuition would be right.
you nodded, defeated. "i can't be here anymore. i can't stand being in this house much longer. i can't stand being near that asshole. i need to leave. "
the screaming finally stopped down stairs. it was silent for moments before the sound of the front door slammed, echoing through the house. the three of you sat on your bed, watching your father from the floor length windows. he kicked his car's tire and yelling out a profanity at the top of his lung before finally getting into his car and speeding off.
"mumma?" jae jumped off the bed and left the room momentarily. he called out, leaning over the stairs. "you here?"
a quiet exchange happened on the stairs between jae and your mother. soon enough, they both came into view with jae's arms holding onto her. the colour drained from her face, seeing the scene of her daughters huddled together and a suitcase not too far away.
"you're leaving?" she asked, tears in her eyes. her eyes were already puffy, clearly emotional from the previous argument.
your eyes softened at the sight of her. "mum, i can't stay around him any longer. he treats us like absolute shit. i can't believe you only just realised what a fucking awful person he is. we've all been telling you for years."
she shook her head making her way to the bed. she sat next to you and pulled jae, her big baby, to sit upon her lap. "i know. he's gone for good. i promise."
a wave of emotions hit you. happiness, grief, anger, relief.. you fall back onto the mattress, all of your pent up feelings coming out in the form of loud, violent sobs. soon after, the other three joined laying down on the mattress, forming a cuddle pile with sniffles and cries coming from everyone.
minutes passed until the crying finally slowed down. sunhi cleared her throat, making everyone give her all the attention. "i think y/n should still go."
you shot up into a sitting position, staring at your sister as if she had grown another head. "he's gone so why would i need to leave now?"
everyone followed, sitting up as well. "y/n.. you have so much potential. you need to go, spread your wings. you can't be stuck here all your life. your passion and energy is so much bigger than anything you'll find here. go." sunhi continued sadly, giving a soft smile.
your eyes faltered from her face, down to your lap. you looked down in shame for even considering leaving after the past month that had just happened. the last month, filled with arguments, threats and tears which tore your family apart. "i can't go."
"why not?" your mum asked, shaking her head in confusion.
"mumma, he's gone now. i don't need to leave. i don't want to leave you alone."
she sighed, cupping your face. "my baby, you need to go. i won't be alone. i'm fine. my strength is you guys. your happiness is my happiness. you've been talking about going to korea for ages. so go there. find yourself. if it doesn't work out, then come home. we've always got a place for you. but i know it'll work it so please just go. for me.."
you looked into her eyes, tears brimming them once more. you had to do it, not only for yourself but for her too.
a hand brushed against your back, snapping out of your daze. "you okay?" renjun asked quietly as you turned to look at him.
you flashed him a tight lipped smile, nodding your head. "yeah, i was just thinking."
"be excited. you get to see your family for the first time in years!" lia gushed, coming on the other side of you. you couldn't help but smile at your best friend's optimism.
nodding your head and taking a deep breath, "let's go."
the three of you moved towards the front door with you opening at softly as possible. as you ventured into the house, you spot your mother hunched over in the kitchen with her back turned to you. a smile crept onto your face as the aroma of vanilla and butterscotch wafted through hall.
seeing her made all thoughts of worry and anxiousness fade away. finally reaching the kitchen, you placed your chin onto your mum's shoulder. "smells good, mumma." you smiled.
her head snaps to look at you with shock written all over her face. she screamed, dropping the mixing spoon into the bowl causing a loud clatter. she throws her arms around your neck, jumping up and down excitedly. "my baby!" she exclaimed still jumping.
by the time the two of you parted, tears filled both of your eyes. "what are you doing here?" she asked, cupping your face and scanning over your face. "goodness, you've grown so much."
a laugh fell from your lips, "mum, it's been two years. i haven't changed that much. i'm here to see you guys. we had a break and thought it was time to come home."
"we?" she asked, tilting her head in confusion. your mum looks over your shoulder to see renjun. a gasp fell from her lips as she rushes over to greet your boyfriend properly for the first time. renjun bowed down respectfully, staying like that for a few seconds.
your mother grabs his elbows, making him stand back up before embracing him tightly into a motherly hug. you wiped away a stray tear that sneakily fell out. your heart fluttered at the sight of two of the most important people to you together.
the two exchanged quiet words that you couldn't quite hear but that didn't matter as you saw jae descend from the stairs, "y/n?" he asked confused.
he came into the kitchen, trying to process the fact that you are standing in the same room as him for the first time in years. you stared at him in shock. he finally grew into his face and body. the cute little boy you grew up with was now a tall, handsome man. the curls that he used to try and gel down as a kid now fell nicely around his head. tattoos lined over one of his arms and he clearly found his style.
"jae? holy shit, you've grown up so well!" you exclaimed, pulling him into the biggest hug you could give. he reciprocated but with a hint of a hesitancy. he pulled back after a few seconds, still somewhat puzzled.
your little brother finally said something, "what the fuck are you doing here?"
everyone in the room, including yourself, laughed at his lack of a verbal filter. "i'm here to see you guys and also i need inspiration to keep writing my show."
he nodded his head, staring at you this time with happiness. he was never one to verbalise his love for anyone but his looks meant more than words. jae turned over to look at renjun who still stood with your mother with an arm wrapped around each other.
renjun's eyes widened and smile dropped as jae made his way towards him. the size difference between the two made you chuckled. your boyfriend stood up straight, trying to look the slightly bit bigger than he is but still jae towered over him.
jae scanned renjun up and down as if he was analysing him. your brother maintained a stoic face for a few more seconds before asking, "do you treat her well?" to which you boyfriend nodded straight away. "do you promise to keep taking care of her now and in your future?" and renjun nodded once more.
"i promise you. she means the world to me." renjun said with confidence now, a big smile on his face.
jae nodded his head, smiling at bit before extending his hand for renjun to shake. "then welcome to the family."
as the two exchanged greetings, the sliding door connecting the kitchen and patio opened. in came sunhi, david and two little girls covered in sweat and dirt.
"holy fuck, i'm sweating my tits off out there." sunhi sighed as she kicked off her shoes. she takes off her cap and throws it onto the table, smiling as she looks around at everyone.
her eyes finally fall on you and her smile drops. it takes her a few seconds to properly register before she jumps into your arms. "geez sunhi, we're not little kids anymore. it's not easy to carry each other anymore." you wheezed as she clings all her limbs around you.
"suck it up." she whispered, holding on tighter.
"i missed you so much." you sighed, closing your eyes as you enjoy the feeling of being able to hold your older sister again.
after a few minutes, she finally lets go and stands for herself again. sunhi stares happily for a few seconds before patting your cheeks gently. "welcome home, little sis."
your stepfather, david, came over and gave a quick hug before gesturing to the girls next to you. "welcome back, y/n. this are my twin daughters, jade and mila."
you smiled, hugging each of the girls. "hi girls. i'm y/n. i'm sooyoung's daughter. it's lovely to finally meet you."
both of the girls smiled shyly before mila nudged jade. "is that your boyfriend over there?" jade asked quietly as she pointed back to renjun.
"yes, it is." you smiled proudly. "would you like to meet him?"
the two girls nodded their heads as they moved to either side of you. as the three of you started to walk the short distance to renjun, mila spoke up. "he looks like a member from nct."
you brought your hand up to cover your mouth as both you and your boyfriend laughed in sync. renjun held back the rest of his laugh with an amused smile as he waved. "hi girls. it's so nice to meet you. i'm renjun. from nct."
jade and mila's jaws dropped, looking between you and renjun. "what the fu-"
"mila!"
"what the fudge?" the ten year old tried to cover her slip up. "are you really him? so that means you know mark lee?"
your boyfriend nodded, laughing. "he's my best friend."
"he's actually going to be here in a few days. so will all the members of nct dream." you said before turning to your mum and siblings to continue, "mark, one of the members, is rina's boyfriend. she's coming too."
sunhi clapped her hands in excitement, "no way! i haven't seen rina in years. i fucking miss her so much."
rina was practically apart of the furniture when she lived in australia. on school mornings, she was there before you even woke up and was with you until it was time for her to return back to her house. even on days when you weren't home, rina still made sure to come see your family.
"i'll need to make a lot more food. when are they coming? we'll have a party! to celebrate you coming back home and to welcome the newcomers to our family." your mother gushed excitedly.
"they'll be here in two days." lia said, coming into the kitchen.
jae shook his head in confusion, "where did you come from?"
"oh, i was filming the little reunion." she smiled, waving her phone. "hi everyone, i'm here too."
nobody was really surprised as she was there often to check up on your family for you. "we'll have a barbie. i'll go to the shops tomorrow." your mother started rambling as she walked to the whiteboard on the fridge and jotting down what she wants to make.
"alright, mumma. let me know what time tomorrow and i'll go with you. in the meantime, i'm gonna go show renjun around." you excused the two of you, sliding your hand into renjun's.
the two of you made your way to the front of house, back to the front door. you go through the hall, showing all the rooms he'd need to know. "my room was upstairs. should we go have a look?"
renjun let out a hum in affirmation, following you up the stairs. "baby, your house is huge."
"i know right. it felt like a mansion when i was little. my room was just up here." you smiled as you turned right at the stairs. you halted, seeing the wooden letters you painted and stuck on the door when you were seven. you pushed down the handle, opening the door.
everything was the same. the bedsheets, the posters and photos on the wall, the desk and piano, the reading nook. everything.
you stood still, eyebrows furrowed together. "they left everything the same. from the day i left. i thought they at least would've changed it into a storage room or something else." you muttered as you entered the room.
renjun walked closer the photo wall, inspecting each photo. "is that you, lia and rina?" he asked, smiling brightly and pointing to a photobooth strip taken while ditching school one day. you walked closer to him, leaning your head on his shoulder. you hummed softly, reminiscing the memory. "you guys look so different now."
you laughed, looking at him. "years of braces, accutane and dancing does that to you. gosh, lia still has her baby face. i'm so envious. she doesn't age." you mutter as you inspected the photo closer.
"thank you." lia said, coming right next to you out of nowhere. both you and renjun jumped and stared at her in silence. she flashed an awkward smile, scratching the back of her neck. "did i interrupt something?"
renjun analysed her for a few seconds longer before saying, "now that i've actually met her in person, she reminds me of jisung. those two would get along great."
your head shot towards your boyfriend with wide eyes, "right?! i've been saying that to rina since i met jisung! they'd be a great couple."
"and that's my cue to go. i don't need a partner." she said, grabbing her keys out of her pocket. "sunhi said she'll take you guys back to the hotel later. i need to get back home. i've got an assignment due tonight. we'll talk later." lia gave a hug to each of you two but lingered for a bit longer while holding you.
"thank you so much for today, lia. message me when you get home safely. we'll plan something for tomorrow." you smiled, staring at her lovingly while cupping her face.
she nodded and grabbed your hand, swinging it for a few seconds before leaving the room.
a sigh fell from your lips. "it's so weird to be back. i wonder.." you mumbled, opening the wardrobe and grabbing down a box filled memento from your childhood. digging around, you felt the small carton of the box you were looking for. you quickly pulled it out with a smirk plastered on your face, turning around to show renjun.
"cigarettes?" he asked, shocked.
you laughed, nodding your head. "rina and i would have a cheeky ciggy some nights."
"i didn't know you smoked."
you cocked your head, "there's a lot of things you don't know about me."
he squinted his eyes, looking you up and down. "i don't know whether to be scared or turned on. or both?"
a loud laugh fell from your lips at the same time a knock came on your bedroom. "come in!"
the door handle pushed down and in came a familiar face you didn't expect to see, especially not today.

Call Of Duty x Reader
(major trigger warning, sexual assault)
You weren't like the others in the barracks, you were smaller then they were, but you were one of the most skilled.
You were even more successful then König.
But, even the best soldiers had bad days.
Soap carried you to the infirmary after you had a pretty nasty gun shit wound.
He laid you in a bed before rushing off to debrief.
Everything after that blurred into one and the next thing you knew you woke up a few days later, feeling weak.
You saw Ghost sitting beside your bed, you were sure why. The lieutenant never really had anything to do with you.
"G-Ghost?" You grumbled as he stared at you.
"Is everything okay?" You asked, he didn't say a word as he reached up to your leg and gently ran his hand up in.
"Stop." You said sternly as his hand stopped and he looked at you through his mask.
He tilted his head a little before he continued sliding his hand up.
Your shaking hand reached down and gripped his before he pinned it down.
"Simon. Let me go."
--
Ghost panted as he looked down at you, that heat between your legs feeling worse than it ever had.
You began to cry before he reached up and squeezed your throat.
"You tell anyone about this and I'll kill you, understood?" He growled, his voice sounding a little different.
You cried and nodded before he got off you and left.
You sobbed as you grabbed the blanket and covered yourself up.
You rolled over, ignoring the pain from the bullet wound and the pain in between your legs as you sobbed into the pillow.
Someone you had trusted for so long had done something so vile to you.
--
Soap and Ghost wandered into the infirmary to come see you, as soon as you saw Ghost your eyes widened and you froze.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Soap asked sitting beside you.
You just continued to stare at Ghost.
"Everything okay, Y/N?" He asked as you nodded a little.
"Y-Yeah, I mean yes sir." You muttered in response as Soap and him shared a confused glance.
They sat with you for a while until leaving you again, Soap stopped Ghost.
"Something isn't right... I know she's injured but she's just not herself." Soap muttered as Ghost nodded.
"Agreed. I'll talk to her." He replied, going back inside.
You saw him alone and immediately began to panic, you sat up and began pulling needles out of your arms before he rushed forward and grabbed you.
"Y/N! Stop it!" He said as you screamed for help, Soap rushed back in to see you trying to run away.
He helped hold you down.
"Y/N! It's okay!" He shouted as you screamed and sobbed, suddenly Price ran in to see what the commotion was.
"What the hell is happening!?" He shouted over your screams as you looked at Ghost.
"Tell them what you did!" You screamed at Ghost as he looked at you in confusion.
"You raped me!" You screamed as the three men stopped and stared at you in shock.
"What?" Ghost muttered as he looked down at you.
"Stop lying! You were in here yesterday, you-you..." Your voice wavered as you collapsed against Soap and sobbed.
"Soap, stay with Y/N. Ghost, you and me outside." Price growled as Ghost nodded and left with the Captain.
Soap held you and rubbed your back gently, letting you cry.
"It's okay, it's okay." He whispered reassuringly.
Price stood outside with Ghost and glared at him.
"You better have a damn good explanation." Price growled, ready to murder Ghost.
"Sir, I swear from the bottom of my heart I would never lay a finger on anyone. Y/N is like a little sister to me, I did not do this. But..." He muttered as Price narrowed his eyes.
"But what?" He growled as Ghost looked at him.
"One of my masks has gone missing... What if." He muttered, Price rubbed his face and shook his head.
"I'll talk to Y/N more about this, go do a bunk search." He demanded as Ghost nodded and walked away.
Price came back into the infirmary and sat beside your bed.
"Y/N, I know this is a lot to think about but we need to get to the bottom of this." Price said as you continued to cry into Soap's chest.
"Maybe we give her some time." Soap suggested as Price nodded.
"Of course, but just so you know. I don't think it was Ghost." Price said as you looked at him.
"His voice sounded different." You whispered as Price nodded.
"We'll get to the bottom of this."
--
You were back in your bunk again, for the time being Soap had moved into your bunk with you.
He was the only one you'd felt safe around for the moment while all of this was happening.
You were sitting and talking with Soap when there was a knock at the door, you opened it to see Price.
"Sir?" You questioned.
"We found who was responsible for the assault." He said as you paled, Soap was immediately behind you.
"So, it definitely wasn't Ghost?" You asked as he shook his head.
You were relieved to know it wasn't Ghost, he had been a trusted ally the last thing you wanted was for him to break that trust like this.
"Who was it?" You whispered as Soap held onto your hand.
"Graves." Price replied as you nodded a little.
"So, Ghost and I had a thought. Maybe Graves dies in action, a complete accident." He muttered as you looked at him in shock.
He handed you his gun.
"Or maybe he was captured and tortured... Which would you prefer?" Price asked as you squeezed Soap's hand.
"I say the bastard got tortured and then died in action." You growled as Pride nodded.
"He won't be missed."
