“It’s just dinner, darling,” Charles swears, chuckling quietly at Moira’s doubtful gaze. “It will remain completely professional, I promise.” He’s been dying to take Moira out since he met her. She’s stunning, smart, and doesn’t put up with any shite - especially not his. Something which Charles finds undeniably sexy.

“Come on,” he tries once more, putting on his best, most pleading blue puppy-eyes. “Let me take you out.”

Enamor Me

To say that SeanCassidy had had a sheltered upbringing was probably accurate. After all, hischildhood friends had been the staff on the family estate, and the leprechaunsthat dwelt there too, plus his cousin Tom. Other than that…well there wasn’t reallyanybody else. He’d had a governess and a nanny, and while he’d occasionallysnuck out and cycled to the local town, he couldn’t really say he’d had anyfriends there.

When they’dimmigrated, it had been much of the same. Except he’d had more places toexplore then, and he’d been able to get to know more people, at least to acertain extent. Girls were still something…uncertain to him. He knew he likedthem, had tried his hand (unsuccessfully) at flirting once or twice- the timeat the aquarium spoke enough for that- and he guessed he’d had a crush before,albeit a brief one.

He supposed that waswhat this was. A crush. After all, he was a gangly, freckly seventeen year oldlad and Moira was a woman, with onehell of an impressive job and who apparently had a thing for posh Englishprofessors with large estates and fancy hair. Just because Sean was sheltered,didn’t mean he was stupid. He could tell.

It didn’t mean hecouldn’t try though.

Or at least he would,if he had the slightest clue how he was supposed to. He hardly got a chance tosee Moira as it was, surprisingly even less so since they’d transferred toCharles’ estate, so he hardly had much chance to get to know her.

He tried though.

Little things, likebringing her a cup of coffee every now and again. It was progress, he toldhimself, and about as much as he could properly manage without his stomachtwisting into too many knots or his knees going weak. As it was, half of theencounters ended with him flushing bright red and making some excuse to scuttleaway and lick his wounds as Alex teased him with a smirk over his little crush.

This time would bedifferent though. He’d snuck out and gone down to the nearby town and bought abunch of flowers, the prettiest bunch he could find. He’s even done his best totear a brush through his mad curls in the hope of taming them somewhat. Thatand taken twenty minutes in his room giving himself a little pep talk andgathering up his courage before making the short trip down to the kitchen wherehe knew she was.

This time he wouldmanage it.

As much as the manic mutant believed otherwise, not ALL of the man he once was had diminished, not ALL of his most notable traits and faded. There was one that still tugged at his heartstrings, few circumstances that would grind the telepath’s CRUEL endeavours to a temporary halt, the faces of people he’d once known, once CARED for. “Moira?” His usually bitter voice spoke up, an UNFAMILIAR quake in his tone as conflicted feelings battled behind tired blue eyes. “You... you SHOULDN’T be here.”

Light pink lips try their best to maintain themselves in a thin, unbreakable line as the agent holds her gun high in the air pointed straight towards the angelic being who holds the sky in her eyes. "Frost," She starts, voice unwavering and secure even if her nerves are about to jump out of her body. "The CIA's been looking for you. Wondering where you've been all this time."

Something unbidden prompts and beckons the blonde to listen, straight obedient in her show of raising her hands. 

“MacTaggert. Been a while, hasn’t it?” she grins, all flashing white. “Never expected to find you here of all places. You look good,” she finishes on a soft note, the smirk cleaned from her face and replaced with a soft bit of vulnerability in the face of the other woman. Was it smart to splay her heart in the middle of all this insanity? Probably not… but the mutant couldn’t find it in herself to care right this moment. 

She was here.

         BROWN EYES GAZE AT THE PAPERS BEFORE HER. Although Moira Rose Mactaggert had always been a woman with a keen sense of loyalty and duty, she does recognize that holding these files in her hands felt wrong, somehow. She does not remember these men and women, with scaled skin or wings, but there is something, some memory deep inside of her that whispers These people are important, they are special. Taking a deep sigh and closing the cream colored folder, Moira takes her glasses off and sighs lightly, making a decision once and for all. Without hesitation she takes the stamp and covers it in red ink, marking the folder as CLASSIFIED. 

          Seems like Agent Mactaggert has some investigating to do.

idk where you’re all coming from but i hit 100 last night!!! thank you to all of you omg?? for a very long time i wanted to make this blog but wasn’t sure i’d be able to do charles justice. the fact that i made it past 10 followers even amazes me. i love you all so much and want to thank you for making this such a wonderful experience for me. now, without further ado, the pure humans i must acknowledge for giving this blog meaning <3

YOU! okay so our rants on discord have helped me develop charles so much. by just yelling about how charles is kind of a douchebag and getting another perspective on him as a character, it helps me better understand how to write him. PLUS YOUR ERIK IS THE BEST THING. i do not regret giving you feelings with sad cherik songs and i thank you for the fic you send me <3

         She had always felt so small against people larger, grander than her.  Chocolate eyes look away, not out of distaste for the individual, oh no, never that, but because sometimes looking at people like Buttercup, who held all the world’s hubris in their fingers. They could all squish you like a bug and you’d probably let them. 

         However– she was a trained CIA agent, she has been chiseled and honed to train herself to keep still, even in the face of danger. The Green Puff looked good with blood staining her features, but Moira Rose Mactaggert looked better with her hands in her hips, standing defiant and tall. “So, I could be correcting in assuming that your father and Professor Xavier now each other? I believe I’ve heard Charles talk about him.”

Brown eyes gloss over the pale, enchanting figure before her. She's back. Emma Frost is back in her life and she has the audacity of looking back for her. It unleashes all kinds of ravenous emotions within her-- as the woman always does. With a hint of a scowl, Moira tries her best to not let her have the upper hand. "Miss Frost," She starts coldly, a lock of her hair hidden behind her ear as the nonchalance of the office lets its monotony speak for itself. "How may I help you?"

Despite her calm and composed entrance Emma is left ramrod straight with nerves, heart stuck on overdrive.

She clears her throat. Even with her no nonsense tone it leaves the blonde’s words stuck in her throat in awe of the woman. "Moira... i have, um, important matters to discuss, with you. Just-- you. But not here--”

 4. what’s the weirdest muse you’ve ever had?

      ooc. Jareth might be my weirdest muse, honestly? All of my other muses are ol’ humans with their own set of moral codes and conducts but with Jareth I’ve had to find and stick to a certain voice. I get to really go out there and explore fae culture and mythology and see how I can incorporate it into my portrayal. I feel that with Jareth I’ve had to do some extra homework ( and I still haven’t read the comics ) to finally shape what I want out of this goblin king– which is why, I think, I go ham on his backstory and canon for my blog. 

9. have the types of characters you play changed over the years?

       ooc. I can’t tell???? I’ve always had a sort of range to playing characters. The muse I got that is most like me is Di///pper Pin//es over at @tiitaniumxwill while the muses least like me are both Ina//ra Se////rra and Ar///nold Short////man at @shxrtmann. For Van//essa Maria///nna, Moi///ra Mac//taggert and Jareth I’ve had to completely construct backstories for. ( @whitegradations , @unlcadedgun and this account, respectively ) so I guess my type of “Whatever I want my hands on atm” OR “who can I develop and make better????”
