For the 3rd Day Til Bizmas we have Unknown Clothing. 🎄🎅🏽 The Holiday season brings cheer, love, the annual family Christmas cards and gift giving. Unknown Clothing is a black owned boutique/clothing store that might have just what you need for your holiday outfit, next Christmas gift for your loved ones or for yourself! “We want to bring rare, exclusive and exotic products that you’re not going to find anywhere else,” said Maciah Clark, co-owner. Unknown Clothing offers men and women clothing like Cookies SSF and UNKN University, shoes, vintage, rare and one-of-a-kind items like jerseys, old gaming systems, floppy disks, VCR tapes and records. “We try to bring in different vendors including local vendors that make their own clothes and give them a place to sell their products,” said Craig Clark, co-owner. With their common interest in fashion, business and love for the location New Britain natives Maciah and Craig Clark who are brothers and Jeremy Sykes brought Unknown Clothing to life at 18 Main Street, New Britain in 2019. “I’ve always been into retail pretty much all of my life even in middle and high school I was always making my own clothes. I really didn’t see myself doing anything else,” said Maciah. “My partners and I are all fashionable and all of us have our own unique fashion so we thought wouldn’t it be cool to have a store where all the fashions are not only unique, but they’re not carried around in our area,” said Jeremy Sykes, co-owner. The store is also set up as an event space. The way it was specifically designed people are able to rent it out for art shows, poetry slams and any simple event.
