KKN Univet 2021 Mahasiswa Mengedukasi Anak-anak Cara Menanam Tanaman Obat pada Plastik Bekas

Karanganyar Jawa Tengah - Banyak plastik terutama botol dan gelas plastik bekas yang dibuang begitu saja, padahal botol ataupun gelas plastik tersebut bisa dimanfaatkan menjadi wadah atau pot kecil untuk menanam.
Hal inilah yang membuat mahasiswa KKN Univet Bantara Sukoharjo 2021 Yohanes Daniel (22) dari progdi Agribisnis Pertanian mengajak anak-anak Rt 6 Rw 27, Desa Ngringo, Kecamatan Jaten, Kabupaten Karanganyar untuk menanam tanaman obat di dalam gelas plastik bekas, yang mana kegiatan ini merupakan program kerja penunjang untuk minggu kelima (15 Sept 2021) pada rangkaian kegiatan KKN tahun ini.
Antusias dan semangat anak-anak terlihat saat diajak untuk menanam tanaman obat yaitu umbi temulawak yang sudah bertunas. Mula-mula wadah plastik diberi media tanam hingga setengah penuh, kemudian bibit temulawak dimasukkan ke dalam wadah plastik dan diberi media tanam kembali hingga tertutup sempurna. Langkah terakhir adalah bibit disiram hingga media tanam terlihat lembab.
Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan anak-anak untuk menanam di rumah dan juga untuk memberi edukasi tentang reuse atau menggunakan kembali barang-barang yang sudah tidak terpakai.

Julio Mahendra Wardana, merupakan salah satu Mahasiswa KKN dari universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo  dengan program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) yang saat ini melaksanakan kegiatan KKN. Salah satu contoh kegiatan yang di lakukan oleh mahasiswa yaitu pengenalan permainan tradisional kepada anak-anak sekitar Desa jatisobo RT02/RW07, Polokarto, Sukoharjo kegiatan ini dilakukan pada hari Jum’at, 11 Maret 2022 pada jam 16.00 WIB sesuai yang telah dijadwalkan.

Permainan tradisional Gobak Sodor merupakan permainan pada zaman dulu yang sudah mulai jarang dipermainkan oleh anak-anak dimana permainan saat ini telah tergantikan pada kecenderungannya terhadap gadget yang selalu digunakan setiap saat. Pengenalan permainan tradisional Gobak Sodor ini dimaksudkan agar anak-anak sekitar Desa jatisobo lebih banyak mengenal permainan tradisional dan mengajarkan anak-anak  akan kekompakan dalam kelompok permainan tersebut.

Dilakukannya kegiatan permainan tradisional Gobak Sodor terdapat respon dari anak-anak, bahwa permainan tradisional Gobak Sodor ini  membuat anak-anak menjadi lebih akrab dengan teman satu dan yang lainnya.
