my guilty pleasure is watching those poketuber videos where they pick their teams using fun methods and puzzles and interesting caveats and then battling with those teams because I LOVE seeing how it goes and I learn more as I watch them

I mostly have miscellaneous YouTube videos on in the background. Stuff that I don't need to 100% focus on but that I kind of want to check in on. This is mostly PokeTubers (shadypenguinn, patterrz, gameboyluke, dads bein dudes (which is shady and then unitedgamer), original 151, raidawayplus) - better if it's one of their streams instead of one of the Then We Fight videos - but sometimes it's old GTLives (occasionally new ones) and recently I've been having Jaiden or Alpharad streams in the background.

If I really need to focus in, usually I just. nothing. because sometimes everything is distracting.

Actually wait, relating to this post where I talk about using old commercials to help me focus on my work. What's the thing ya'll use when you need to focus on your personal projects or work? Bonus points if it's a bit out there too. Like I listen to those frutiger aero playlists (since just music's a bit too broad) and various commercial compilations when I want to focus

like, to read?  i don’t really....  i don’t think i really have one?most of the aus i haven’t seen that i want are ones that end up in my writing ideas bin, tbh.  hm.  maybe a twewy fusion.  idk.something with a happy ending where no one dies and that deals with the actual issues of the actual ship and doesn’t make rose evil just because she’s the antagonist or just because she’s a sociopath.

🎵 - What do you listen to while you read?

mmmmmm.  nothing specific.  most of the time when i’m reading i don’t want stuff playing in the background that i have to pay attention to but i do tend to have background stuff on while i’m doing ... most things, really, and that’s mostly hgtv or various youtube channels (gtlive - but not game theory or film theory - or a bunch of different pokemon youtubers like shadypenguinn, unitedgamer, gameboyluke, etc. or sometimes game grumps or super beard bros or jesse cox (depending on what he’s doing and how much i want to pay attention) or weekend warriors (although they’re less likely because i want to pay attention to their stuff pretty frequently)).
