Rule one of being a mob boss: always be on your toes.

Everett's pretty infamous for breaking rules. Even if they do pertain to his own safety and well being. Just leave it to him to break rule number one, mouth off to a fellow getting on his bad side only to discover (much too late, might I add) that the poor bloke he was mouthing off to just so happens to run one of his rival mafias.

Thankfully, though, his mouth isn't the only thing he knows how to run.

And knowing ideal hiding places doesn't hurt either.

He's been crouched in a tight jamb between two buildings for about a half hour now, and is positive that they've either lost interest or lost the willpower to find him, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

He hisses softly between his teeth, trying to catch the attention of a bystander.

"Hey. Do me a favor and tell me if there's anybody tall, beefy and scary hanging around right now? 'S it safe t'come out?"
