A belated little FAHC Freewood fluff (hey, alliteration!) for @unicornscandraw‘s birthday! Happy belated birthday! 

Gavin looks so peaceful when he’s sleeping, nothing like the excitable, chaotic guy who once dared Michael to ramp off a Zentorno with his bike. But here, with soft sunlight striped over his face and over the black cat curled up by his feet, he looks – content. Happy.

Ryan studies Gavin for a little more before scooting closer to drape an arm over his waist and kiss Gavin’s cheek, careful not to disturb the dozing Henry at their feet. Ryan kisses Gavin’s scruffy chin and Gavin snorts and giggles, turning his face away from Ryan’s scratchy cheek and laughing again when Ryan deliberately rubs their cheeks together.

“Get off,” Gavin laughs, and Ryan does, resting his head on the pillow mere inches from Gavin’s face. Gavin turns his head and his eyes twinkly playfully in the sunshine, a sleepy smile dragging up the corners of his mouth.

“Mornin’,” Ryan says. Gavin hums and wiggles closer to him – his foot shifts from Henry and the cat awakes with a start, uncurling itself and looking up at them accusingly.

“No, wait!” Gavin whisper-shouts, trying to entice Henry back with his foot. “No, Henzies!”

Henry starts to walk away and Ryan disentangles himself to sit up and reach down to the end of the bed, grabbing Henry around the ribs before he can jump off and hauling him back up to sit between them.

“Thank you,” Gavin says, immediately nuzzling into Henry’s head as Ryan’s arm lands on his waist again.

“He’s gonna try and escape again,” Ryan teases, although Henry looks resigned to Gavin’s affection, sat down perfectly calmly with his tail occasionally brushing against Ryan’s arm.

“Nah, he loves me. Anyway, he’s in the warm spot now,” Gavin says. Ryan brings up his other hand to pet Henry’s flank and Henry starts purring, warm and happy in the sunshine spilled between them.

Gavin starts dozing off after a while, lulled back to sleep by the warmth of the bed and Henry’s contented purring, his cheek smushed against Henry’s head and one hand trapped underneath Henry’s ribs.

Ryan carefully leans over Henry to kiss Gavin’s temple, whispering a soft “I love you” before settling back on the pillow.

“’ove ‘ou, ‘oo,” Gavin murmurs sleepily, wriggling his hand out from under Henry to tangle it with the hand Ryan has on his hip. Ryan laughs quietly at him. He’s never been happier.

“Sorry I couldn’t go to the tournament, Hana.” Mai didn’t look away from her paper as Hana walked through the door. Mai was obviously working on something for Hana’s sake, so Hana appreciated it.

Besides, might as well surprise her girlfriend, right? “It’s alright, I won.” Hana smiled, placing her hands into the pockets of her yellow jacket. “I think Normal Boots as a whole didn’t do that well, though...”

“Everyone’s been distracted all year with the chaos surrounding-” Mai broke her eyes away from her paper, and her pencil dropped to the table. “Wh- How did you get that? Wasn’t your objective to join Normal Boots?”

Hana laughed, walking to Mai and wrapping her arms around Mai’s shoulders. “Hidden Block swiped me up first, and we had a fun time at the mall. I really like hanging out with them, so why wouldn’t I have not joined them?”

Mai’s confused face turned into a smirk. “Ahhhh, I see! That’s good for you!” She tapped a finger to Hana’s nose, and Hana started to laugh at the touch, pushing the finger away from her face. “I’m so happy you got to join a club!”

“Even if it’s not Normal Boots?”

“Of course! If you’re happy, I’m happy!” Mai turned around in her chair, letting Hana’s arms slip off of her shoulders. “Plus, how can I not, staring into your beautiful blue eyes?”

“Mai, stop it.” Hana’s face was slowly turning red, looking at Mai with nervousness. “My eyes aren’t beautiful.”

“But you’re beautiful, Hana! Believe me, I’ve been dating you for...” Mai counted on her fingers, “At least 4 months! And I’ve learned a lot about you, you’ve learned a lot about me... and I’ve learned... no, known, that you’re pretty damn beautiful.”

Hana started tearing up, but she quickly started to rub at her eyes. “Hah... thank you, Mai...”

“No problem, dear! Now, you look tired, soooo!” Mai got out of her chair, and Hana’s feet were lifted into the air as Mai lifted her into a bridal postion. “To bed you go!”

“Mai, come on-”

i’ve heard of it (actually by looking up if there was such a thing as an anime professor career LOL), ill put it on my to watch list! may be awhile that i get to it tho, im in the middle of watching a buncha anime atm (only about halfway through hxh 2011, got two more eps of ore monogatari, the pokeani sumo, keion, not to mention all the currently airing stuff like bnha, lwa, and sakura quest) but when i do get to it, can i message you about it? :0c could be fun!!!

and omg yess!! ive been wanting to watch galko-chan ever since i found the AMAZING figure of her online!! (i really want the figure and the nendo haha) and i finally decided to do so tonight!! it really is an amazing show, love it to pieces ;w;

Please talk more about Aleks/Ryan bc I never knew I needed it until I saw your video

@electricmindart wrote a fanfic right here of the Vagabond and FC!Aleks that is SOOO good 

Also I fucking love the idea of the Mad King and Prince Aleks. I was discussing with a group (electricmindart and @unicornscandraw) about the idea and we came up with several different versions of it:

The Marchant kingdom is weak, and Aleks’ father know what he must do in order to gain favor with Achievement City. He offers his son in an arranged marriage AU in order to better his standing with the king of a very powerful neighboring nation.

Another version of it was that Aleks was a commoner that gets captured by Ryan’s guards and when Ryan looks at him and sees the chaos in his eyes he knows he would be absolutely p e r f e c t to rule by his side. And he absolutely has the Mad King wrapped around his finger. 

'you know the ___ clan once imprisoned me for trespassing for an hour 3 years ago' 'i'll send my troops over there to destroy them all' 'I've been needing some more space in our castle....' 'i'll send the architects to your chambers tomorrow to discuss building on an expansion to the castle' 'i really like this one author...' 'i'll have my troops find him and have him write you all the books your heart desires' LIKE HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES HIS FELLOW KING MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD

And then another version of it was Prince Aleks and King Ryan meeting with Aleks posing as a common thief and worming his way into Ryan’s heart. He never even finds out he’s a Prince until long after the first date. (Who knows why he’s doing it, maybe it ties back into his kingdom being poor, maybe he just didn’t want Ryan to think of him as a prince and marry him just for royal favor in his kingdom, maybe he wanted him to fall in love with him for him?)

AND THEN THERE’S THE IDEA OF IT BEING IN THE X-RAY AND VAV UNIVERSE. FAKE CHOP ALEKS AND MAD KING RYAN WORKING TOGETHER TO DESTROY THE WORLD? UM YES PLEASE

97. “You’re so cute when you pout like that.”

AN: of course I don’t mind! it does sound like a cute ship, hehe

“I want it though.” Pbg said, a slight pout on his face. His eyes were trailing a box in Jared’s hands, which had been just revealed to contain one of pbg’s favorite things; his favorite villager in Animal Intersection, as a pushie.. “How come you get to get random gifts like that?”

“It’s because I’m one of the most popular members of normal boots.” Jared actually feeling a bit bad for keeping it away from Pbg, but to be honest, Jared really liked how cute the villager was. Pbg’s pout increased. “Come on. You’re so cute when you pout like that. It’s unfair.”

“You’re unfair in general.” Pbg said, pointing at the gift. “You get random gifts from random admirers, and yet I don’t even get a single piece of paper. Unfair.”

Jared tried to think of something to fight against his boyfriend, but sighed, conceding to the adorable puppy-dog pout that pbg plastered on his face. He handed the gift over to pbg, and he swore he saw a billion stars flash into his eyes. “Take good care of her, dude. It’s technically my present, so if you destroy it, I will hunt you down.”

“I got it, I got it!” Pbg said, eyes completely on the plushie. He looked up to Jared, and placed it down, hugging the swoopy-haired boy. “Thank you so much. For everything, really!”

“No... problem dude...” Jared responded, almost shocked that Pbg just outright hugged him. “Take good care of her.”

“Of course.”

Bridget was a fidgeting mess as she hovered around the closed door to Nurse McPasta’s work space. She could swear she had paced up and down the hall for at least an hour, but her frequent glances at the clock told her that it had been 20 minutes, tops. She tied and untied her sweatshirt drawstrings as she walked back and forth, back and forth, trying to find some way to get her mind off her worry for PBG, but so far she couldn’t seem to think of anything else but him. 

She and much of the rest of the school had been watching a nail-bitingly close soccer match against Yamaku High School, where PBG and this one other player from the opposing side were having a friendly rivalry of sorts as they tried to maintain control of the ball and steal it from each other at every opportunity. They stuck together like glue.

However, at one point, PBG had overpredicted where the guy was going, and they had ended up crashing right into each other, kicking with all their might and twisting in all sorts of directions. 

Or so it had seemed.

In reality, PBG was the only one who got injured enough to be taken completely off the field and, with the Asagao students yelling encouragement, he had left with a sour expression on the stretcher. 

PBG was strong but it’s not like Bridget had been close enough to see just how injured he had gotten, and the dramatic farewell of Jared plus Jeff’s over exaggerated shouting had not helped one bit to dissuade her from worrying. 

So, masking her worry to her friends, she had made up an excuse of forgotten homework and beat a hasty course to the nurse’s office.

Where she was now pacing a groove into the floor.

If Mr. McPasta didn’t let her in soon, she was bound to--

“You know, the door was open.”

Bridget nearly fell over herself as she turned around to see the infamous nurse grinning at her teasingly. She smoothed out her uniform, stammering.

“W-what? Sorry, I didn’t catch that.”

“I said,” Nurse McPasta held open the door for her. “The door is open, always. Well, almost always. Lunch breaks can get wild.” He giggled and beckoned her inside, an invitation she accepted as calmly as she could (it took all her self-control not to run through the door).

“Her refuses to lie down for some reason,” McPasta said as he shut the door behind them. 

Her anxiety almost melted away completely as she saw PBG sitting on one of the beds, a pack of ice strapped to his ankle and a crestfallen look on his face.

“Maybe you can talk some sense into him.”

He looked up and beamed when he saw who had arrived and held out his arms for a hug...before remembering the other occupant in the room and settling for an awkward highfive.

“Peanut will need to stay off his foot as much as possible if he wants that sprain to heal in the fastest and best way possible.” Nurse McPasta looked at them knowingly before clasping his hands together. “I trust you’ll be able to help him?”   

They both blushed but nodded, turning away from each other to maintain some sense of dignity and/or subtlety.

Didn’t work, as evidenced by the nurse chuckling knowingly.

“I’ll have him sign some paperwork for the ice--don’t give me that look, it’s necessary that not a single cube go unaccounted for--and you can help him out of here.”

McPasta walked off to his desk at a farther point in the room and Bridget leaned towards Peebs to whisper to him. 

“So, are you really okay? No broken legs or internal bleeding or flesh-eating disease?!” 

Her voice grew increasingly panicked as she went on, but PBG put a hand on her shoulder. “No nothing like that,” he stated gravely. “But I do have a case of overthinking girlfriend--ouch!” 

He grinned as she smacked his arm. “Seriously, I’m okay. And it’s not as bad as some of my other falls too, so I should be good to go really soon. Don’t worry!” He offered a cheeky thumbs up. “I’ll be A-okay!”

“Well alright...if you’re sure...” Bridget snuck a quick kiss on his cheek when McPasta turned his back and PBG beamed at her.

“When we come out, I’m going to drown you in kisses every day!”

Bridget laughed but smiled at him fondly. 

“Focus on getting better first!”
