So proud to contribute a piece (fr. 227) to @unicornframes - a project celebrating Izzy Hands, Con's performance of Izzy and my personal favorite moment of the whole ofmd series. To me this is the truest Act of Grace in the series, the crew gifting Izzy not only with a leg, but with pride, resolve and most deeply belonging.

My frame for the @unicornframes project! This was such a fun project, and I'm really glad I signed up in the eleventh hour to make this and be a part of something so beautiful. It's WORTH IT 👀 (You can blame @sweveris for the inclusion of Izzy's teeny tiny lil peets, by the way 😂)

The reading/plant nook is complete! Tweaks will always be made as plants go in and out and art/books get added, but I refinished the floor, added more shelves, got my hands on a nice recliner for $30, found a way to hang my Last Unicorn tapestry, and it's finally all coming together.

I gotta shout out @theshitpostcalligrapher for being the source of an embarrassing amount of the prints in here.

And to top it all off: the Dionysian shrine which is only highlighted with a framed "I'm trying to achieve gnosis and free myself of earthly constraints. But I'm dummy thicc, and the clap of my ass cheeks keeps alerting the archons" meme

(edited to add: the nautilus shells are from old captive raised nautili that died of natural causes over a decade ago and I got them when work was getting rid of some old stuff, don't buy nautilus shells)

The frame I made for the @unicornframes project! Check out the two versions and the individual frames here.

My contribution was a sliiiiiightly last minute one and as material I used all the lovely gifts I've received from various pirate pals over the last few years at cons or meets.

The background bandana, the two folded up bags and the row of five black-and-white buttons are from @feuerkindjana. The Rizzy button is from NeoPessimist. I don't remember who the various wristbands and other buttons are from.

But since the unicorn prosthetic was made by the crew using materials they had on hand, what better material for a frame than things I had on hand that came from fellow pirates? And obviously the note's in Dutch, we're an international crew :D
