Hello, it's been a bit, hasn't it?

Well, to give a basics of explanation: Shit happened, hyperfixation changed. With that note, I'm debating, and more than likely going with changing up the roster to make the story different.

With that is the introduction of: The Zelda's and Ganon's. After fiddling with the Link's, I'll mess around with the Zelda's and Ganon's. When will this happened? Not sure, but I'm keeping the old templates until I can find my old reference photos and the notebook with the original template and more info.

I think I’m just going to use your ask to post my year-end favorite fics. Hope you don’t mind.

It’s been a tough year for me, and I haven’t gotten to read a ton, but these are all excellent.

Secrets, Santa? By @indiaalphawhiskey (E, 19K) disaster gay Harry in all his bumbling, endearing glory still manages to make his incredibly hot boss (Louis) fall for him. This one has snappy dialogue, great internal monologue, and scorching smut. I’d expect nothing less from this author.

your lips in the low light by etherealbliss / @givesuethemoon (E, 21K) It’s been a long time since I read a Larry Uni AU, and this one checked all the boxes. This author managed to really capture the immaturity and obsessive emotions of university age lovers arguing and breaking up, and making each other jealous, and fucking and fighting some more, and ultimately making up. Harry is bratty and sensitive and Louis is dense and long-suffering and they’re perfect for each other.

Scorpions et Madragores by Stria / @nooradeservedbetter (E, 23K) Read the tags and author’s note on this one because there are some themes that could be triggering. This is a dark fic and Harry is a pretty creepy vampire, but the story is very well told and there’s a happy ending.

2 a.m. texts by everysingleday / @sun-lt (T, 30K) This was very sweet and very funny and had just enough sexiness (although I wouldn’t have minded more. LOL!) Link is to a download.

The Doppel Effect by yeah_alright / @uhoh-but-yeah-alright (T, 6K) the concept for this fic was so original and a really compelling read, I can’t help but hope the author gets inspired to continue this ‘verse.

Danger I Can’t Hide by CelticSky (E, 227K) This one’s got all the tension and drama you’d expect of a World War II story—life and death high stakes, friends and lovers unexpectedly torn apart, battles and heroism, plus the added stakes of classism and homophobia—then add a slow burn, high risk, scorching love affair spanning years. If you want a story that’s complex and fantastically researched, plus lovers to root for, read it. It’s long. But I couldn’t put it down. When I finally did, I picked it right back up and read it twice more. It’s that good.

one conversation by fondleeds (NR, 1K) This really is just a couple of scenes, and the story is open-ended, but, if for no other reason, read it for the beautiful way the sentences flow. My notes on every fic of theirs begin with: “I wish I could write like this.”

Night Shift by banaanipoika (E, 9K) This was incredibly sexy and beautifully written. I loved that there was such a unique setting with so much descriptive language making me feel like I could smell and feel everything in that hospital room.

On The Pull by @homosociallyyours (E, 4K) Short, but really sexy and just the right amount of bittersweet and hopeful. Loved the characterizations and the smooth writing. So few people write canon Larry these days so this was a nice change of pace.

Devil in my brain, whispering my name by @lunarheslwt (E, 9K) i i thought this author struck a great balance between the dirtiness of a demon defiling an angel and the way the angel gave in to his desire to be defiled. Super sexy.

pull you closer (kiss me harder) by @sunshineandthemoonlight (E, 6K) This was absolutely beautiful — just the perfect amount of tension and wistfulness to make me tear up. But then it was sexy and full of hope at the end. I loved how Louis supported Harry and gave him exactly what he needed (and really, H gave Louis what he needed, too).

Well as per the poll I put up ages ago (uni caught up to me ah), here is all I've compiled on our favorite foot clan recruit.

Cassandra Jones

Language Habits:

Verbalizes her attacks, i.e. "knife throw"

Uses "Foot Clan" as a battle cry

Grunts a lot when she moves (very verbally reactive when fighting)

Punctuates her attacks with "hiya!"

Tendency to "Ha-ha!" when she's satisfied with an attack

Uses a lot of formal language, with rare instances of Japanese mixed in

Eloquent in her dramatism, think clinical words with dramatic intention "vanquish his soul to the depths of oblivion"

Calls both Foot Lt. and Foot Brute "Sensei"/"Senseis"

Personality:

Really, really intense. She's always at 110% energy.

A talented warrior. She's familiar with a lot of the weapons she's handed, and has stated she's been in the Foot Clan since she was young.

Violence-oriented. A lot of her dialogue and action is centered on crushing her foes, so she's motivated by the thrill of combat

Loyal to the core. No matter what cause she's gunning for, she's there until it succeeds. Even if it takes over her entire being.

Fanatic. One of the most loyal and well-versed Foot Clan members, despite only being a low-level recruit.

Holds a grudge. When Cass remembers a name she won't forget it. Mainly Jocelyn, who she laments her jealously upon often.

Ritualistic in place of efficiency. Cass always does things in the way she deems "right" or how she was taught they were done, even if it takes longer than usual, until she is shown a better way to do them.

Eager to prove herself. Cassandra is always looking for opportunities to prove herself, whether that be the Foot Clan by volunteering to go on every missions, or to the world by world domination via brownie sales.

Miscellaneous:

Prefers to be called "Casey" by her friends

Has been in training since she was seven

Carries kunai knives on her

Tends to prefer fighting with spears

As shown in posters in her room she enjoys hockey

Also her room is spartan clean and tidy

Next are favorite things, you can place items in your room, and if your UniTama likes them, playtime might be more fun! The animations are just adorable. Fashion & Furniture, you can style your Tamagotchi with the cutest accessories. Arrange your very own room to give your unique Tamagotchi character a beautiful home, truly unique!

There’s even a crafts feature! Gather DIY instructions and materials to create accessories in your favorite colors. You obtain these instructions and materials using the Tama Walk feature.

The Tama Walk feature uses the built-in pedometer similar to the Tamagotchi Smart. Your Tamagotchi will be able to collect craft materials and instructions through a walk. Several images show that you can walk in several different locations and collect items, you’ll find a bunch in just a 20-minute walk!

You can also enter download codes to download items and Tamauniverse areas! Download codes can be found on product packages, in campaigns, events, and more! This reminds us of the codes we used to enter into the Tamagotchi Connection series. The input code can be entered and items will then be downloaded.

Let’s talk hardware.

The Tamagotchi Uni features a watch strap so that you can wear it on your wrist like a watch, or you can play with Tamagotchi Uni outside of the strap like a traditional Tamagotchi. Available in two different shell colors that are both very vibrant, unique, and feature a translucent back.

The Tamagotchi Uni uses a built-in lithium polymer battery that is rechargeable using the included USB-C cable. Long gone are the days of needing to use AAA batteries.

The pink shell features a pink Tamagotchi Uni body where the wavy design around the screen is green and blue. It also features blue translucent buttons, back, and buckles on the strap.

The Tamagotchi Uni you purchase anywhere around the globe will be the same device, but the packaging will differ. You and Aemond met during your freshman year and didn't start dating until sophomore year

You both went on your official date after the winter break and found out you will be in one spring semester class

Aemond will try to meet up with you on days where you’re both free. However, with your extracurriculars and his time with the university’s fencing team -- it can be hard

On days he can't take you out to lunch or go to a cafe, he does send you money through a transfer app, with a cute message or just the words “please eat”

If your club needs extra hands, he's more than happy to help you, whether that would be holding stuff in his car or helping carry needed supplies

Isn’t too into “school spirit” so he doesn't care if you steal his hoodies or beanies with the KLU logo on it

Took him a while to introduce him to his other siblings properly

You of course, met Helaena at the club fair, but you formally met Helaena when she invited both of you to an museum event sponsored by her club

A) The first is a modern AU where LWJ is a doctor who finds WWX in his hospjtal after disappearing after a school fire years ago. He later learns WWX donated many organs to JC after the fire and was dumped by the Jiangs afterwards, which is why LWJ won't let the Lan partner with them.

B) The second is set (I think) after WWX's death, and is about LWJ collecting portraits of him that were done by an artist he met in Yiling before the siege. 2. Hi again! I have an ask for the next FicFinder that this falls into. There was this one fic I read maybe back in 2021, where wangxian had had more than just Sizhui as a kid (i think it was two) and their youngest kid got lost and everybody was going crazy searching for him. The kid is eventually found by Wen Ning, thinking he was about to find wwx, because the kid was whistling like he’d seen wwx do and after all is said and done, the kid had to promise not to do it again. I think in this fic wwx was referred to as “mama” and it could possibly be an abo verse? I’m unsure as it has been a while, but if anyone can find anything, I’m super grateful! Thanks in advance 😁💜

4. hello! I read a fic a while ago and want to reread it but I can't find it 😭 it was a modern au where lwj knew wwx in high school (they weren't friends though) then wwx went missing and like 3 years post high school they reconnected. lwj is either a librarian or he just really likes books. he goes to visit wwx and ayuan, they're living with the other wens at some farm and granny wen makes them a plate of snacks and lwj ends up staying the night. at some point him and wwx go to a farmers market where the wens sell their crops and lwj and wwx wander around. also, lwj reads like 5 books throughout and the author had linked them in the end notes, that's why I'm trying to find it again sjfbdjf so I can read those books. anyways thank you for your help!! @cryiling

LXC asks the lans to keep the matter of LWJ being alive hidden from wwx. Lxc hates wwx.

Before losing conciousness lwj asks lxc to pardon wwx. Lxc asks his sect to not kill wwx.

In the meantime WY thinks he gravely injured lz and goes to cloud recesses to seek punishment, there he hears that LZ is dead from LQR and lan elders. WY screams gutwrenchingly and by thing LQR realises that WY actually loved LZ. But he cannot tell anything to wy because lxc forbade him.

I think wwx receives the 33 lashes? but I'm not sure. He stays at cloud recesses and WY's psyche gets worse and worse through the years.

LWJ wakes after 13 years

After 13 nhs asks wy to come to qinghe and sends him a map to the place. Nhs doesn't tell wy lwj is alive.

Wwx at this point reallt believes that lwj is dead.

At unclean realm wy finds lwj w lxc and thinks he is a hallucination and breaks down. His mental state is so fucking sad it takes him a long while to accept lwj is real. Lwj is also mad at lxc because he has asked lxc to make sure wwx is okay yet wwx mental state is in shambles because lxc hid lwj being alive from wwx.

Rabindranath Tagore visited Einstein’s house in Caputh, near Berlin, on July 14, 1930. The discussion between the two great men was recorded, and was subsequently published in the January, 1931 issue of Modern Review.

TAGORE: You have been busy, hunting down with mathematics, the two ancient entities, time and space, while I have been lecturing in this country on the eternal world of man, the uni- verse of reality.

EINSTEIN: Do you believe in the divine isolated from the world?

TAGORE: Not isolated. The infinite personality of man com- prehends the universe. There cannot be anything that cannot be subsumed by the human personality, and this proves that the truth of the universe is human truth.

EINSTEIN: There are two different conceptions about the nature of the universe — the world as a unity dependent on humanity, and the world as reality independent of the human factor.

TAGORE: When our universe is in harmony with man, the eter- nal, we know it as truth, we feel it as beauty.

EINSTEIN: This is a purely human conception of the universe.

TAGORE: The world is a human world - the scientific view of it is also that of the scientific man. Therefore, the world apart from us does not exist; it is a relative world, depending for its reality upon our consciousness. There is some standard of reason and enjoyment which gives it truth, the standard of the eternal man whose experiences are made possible through our experiences.

EINSTEIN: This is a realization of the human entity.

TAGORE: Yes, one eternal entity. We have to realize it through our emotions and activities. We realize the supreme man, who has no individual limitations, through our limitations.

Science is concerned with that which is not confined to individuals; it is the impersonal human world of truths. Religion realizes these truths and links them up with our deeper needs. Our individual consciousness of truth gains universal significance. Religion applies values to truth, and we know truth as good through own harmony with it.

EINSTEIN: Truth, then, or beauty, is not independent of man?

TAGORE: No, I do not say so.

EINSTEIN: If there were no human beings any more, the Apollo Belvedere no longer would be beautiful?

TAGORE: No!

EINSTEIN: I agree with this conception of beauty, but not with regard to truth.

TAGORE: Why not? Truth is realized through men.

EINSTEIN: I cannot prove my conception is right, but that is my religion.

TAGORE: Beauty is in the ideal of perfect harmony, which is in the universal being; truth is the perfect comprehension of the universal mind. We individuals approach it through our own mistakes and blunders, through our accumulated experience, through our illumined consciousness. How otherwise can we know truth?

EINSTEIN: I cannot prove, but I believe in the Pythagorean argument, that the truth is independent of human beings. It is the problem of the logic of continuity.

TAGORE : Truth, which is one with the universal being, must be essentially human; otherwise, whatever we individuals realize as true, never can be called truth. At least, the truth which is described as scientific and which only can be reached through the process of logic in other words, by an organ of thought which is human. According to the Indian philosophy there is Brahman, the absolute truth, which cannot be conceived by the isolation of the individual mind or described by words, but can be realized only by merging the individual in its infinity. But such a truth cannot belong to science. The nature of truth which we are discussing is an appearance; that is to say, what appears to be true to the human mind, and therefore is human, and may be called maya, or illusion.

EINSTEIN: It is no illusion of the individual, but of the species.

TAGORE: The species also belongs to a unity, to humanity. Therefore the entire human mind realizes truth; the Indian and the European mind meet in a common realization.

EINSTEIN: The word species is used in German for all human beings; as a matter of fact, even the apes and the frogs would belong to it. The problem is whether truth is independent of our consciousness.

TAGORE: What we call truth lies in the rational harmony be- tween the subjective and objective aspects of reality, both of which belong to the superpersonal man.

EINSTEIN: We do things with our mind, even in our everyday life, for which we are not responsible. The mind acknowledges realities outside of it, independent of it. For instance, nobody may be in this house, yet that table remains where it is.

TAGORE: Yes, it remains outside the individual mind, but not the universal mind. The table is that which is perceptible by some kind of consciousness we possess.

EINSTEIN: If nobody were in the house the table would exist all the same, but this is already illegitimate from your point of view, because we cannot explain what it means, that the table is there, independently of us. Our natural point of view in regard to the existence of truth apart from humanity cannot be explained or proved, but it is a belief which nobody can lack—not even prim- itive beings. We attribute to truth a superhuman objectivity. It is indispensable for us—this reality which is independent of our existence and our experience and our mind though we cannot say what it means.

TAGORE: In any case, if there be any truth absolutely unrelated to humanity, then for us it is absolutely non-existing.

EINSTEIN: Then I am more religious than you are!

TAGORE: My religion is in the reconciliation of the superper- sonal man, the universal spirit, in my own individual being.

Seb's zelda botw/totk verse (oot at the end):

Seb has half hylian, half sheikah (on his father's side). He was born and raised up until 8 years old in Hateno Village until his turbulent family dynamic made him run away to Kakariko Village. As a child with little, if any, fighting experience. That alone was impressive enough for Impa to decide to take him in. In that time, he's fully embraced his father's culture and trained very hard to become a capable Sheikah warrior.

He's close with Paya, like a sibling. He regularly trains with Cado and Dorian, becoming proficient in the Phrenic Bow and Eightfold Blade. He wears custom Sheikah armor in black instead of blue.

He serves the village by hunting and taking out small groups of monsters stealthily at night when they come too close to the mountains for comfort. Has had his fair share of encounters with the Yiga clan, to the point where he can see through their disguises.

He's actually pretty sociable! Turns out being removed from his toxic family at a young age does wonders for your mental health. The Sheikah have been much kinder to him, and so he's kind and friendly even to strangers.

He has a big black mare named Umbra he lets roam the fields just outside of the village. She's slow to trust strangers unless they prove to be good to both her and Sebastian, who raised her from a foal he found abandoned by her mother. They're very close. She has a sassy personality and begs for treats from him often.

He's open to traveling Hyrule with the right excuse, but he feels he has to stay to help defend the village until said excuse presents itself.

In my plot with @fckurselfie , he is traveling with Link and experiences both games' events with him. He learns sign language to communicate with him and does much of the talking with others for him.

He's good at tending wounds and brewing elixirs. A bit less good at cooking, but he can get by.

He refuses to return to Hateno Village. Anywhere but there, even if the Sheikah Lab there is tempting. (He was told to avoid it, as a child.)

TotK isn't too different from BotW, in that he's also traveling with Uni's Link then as well.

He's VERY good at stealth. He can disappear in shadows on a whim and walks practically silently. Unless you know what to look for, you won't see him coming when he's sneaking. He startles a lot of people this way, but he at least tries not to laugh.

Just... look at this art style, it literally always takes my breath away ITS BEAUTIFUL. So expressive and unique, I love it sm. They also have an encanto fanfiction too, it's set a few years in the future and is Mirabel x oc, I would never usually look for those stories on my own, since I'm not really into non canonical ships, but the art they made for it intrigued me and although I haven't read it in a while, from what I did read it was amazing. Really well written and descriptive!

Can I get some Gen Z perspective on how it felt to crack your egg and when it happened? I was clueless until just before I turned 34 and might have never figured it out if it weren't for antidepressants defogging my head. I was honestly just relieved when I realised it because all of a sudden all my problems had a solution.

Ok so I’m going to overexplain literally my entire egg cracking journey cause lord was it interesting

So it started with the YouTuber F1nn5ter, he’s a femboy youtuber/twitch streamer who’s like *amazing* at makeup and clothing and whatnot, he legitimately passes as fem until you hear him speak. Completely he/him, he’s not on any kind of estrogen, but like passes so well. Anyway got a video of his in my recommended, then started watching more and more of his content, and was like kinda jealous of him so i’m like “ok, femboy. that’s me. thats the label imma use”. I then joined his subreddit, and on there people would link to posts from subreddits like r/egg_irl and r/traa quite frequently (if you’re not versed in reddit, those are two trans shitposting subreddits). From there I just slowly went down the pipeline, where it started at like “i kinda want to be a femboy but like ALL the time” “i kinda want to be like a femboy but like *even more*” “ok fine i’m a girl” kinda thing.

After realizing that and admitting it to myself, it felt like a massive weight off my shoulders and like everything in my past made sense. Like there’s memories that I can’t describe why but like they just *feel* trans to me. I’ve tried to explain this to other people but like they don’t seem to get it. Random stuff like wanting to go down the hair dye aisle in the grocery store when i was like 7 years old cause i wanted hair like the girls on the packaging or stuff like that (didn’t realize that was why i wanted to do that until now) (and the fact that i still remember that to this day means it was clearly important to me)

Anyway that was all two years ago, during covid, and I haven’t made any meaningful progress towards transitioning bc i have really bad social anxiety that’s preventing me from feeling comfortable and confident enough to transition. I hope that when i go to uni next year tho i’ll be able to make some progress !! :3
