Funny how I don't get death threats (in my inbox) anymore since I've taken away anonymous.

I actually had anonymous spam messages to some mutuals and people who interacted with my blog recent to then. They actually put a link to my blog in the ask to get my attention.

So to clarify, I turned anon off, they went into my ask box, didn't see the anon option, and then went through notes on a couple posts to spam this message in hopes someone would post it for me to see. They literally harassed people with nothing to do with anon and I.

Do you see how ridiculous this is? How far people go to hide who they are?

This is why suicide rates have increased dramatically and not just in teens, this is why online bullying is toxic and is not managed, this is why the anonymous option is toxic, this is what happens when there are no actual consequences for your actions. I'm sorry but my blog being deleted and making a new one is annoying, but it's not an actual punishment. Just because this is a social media platform does not mean that you do not report criminal activity, no matter what it is.
