ya'll don't understand, this dude is on my mind daily and it's driving me up the wall. <- (positive) forever obsessed with him, he's one of my top fave marriage candidates from the sos/bokumono series now.

and i'll use the free space as an excuse to share a lil headcanon : gustafa's parents are both classical musicians so he has classical training a few different instruments, viola being his strong suit.

Kogoro probably should take top billing for 'my dearest blorbo' but I think I get more associated with Nakamori just because he's a more niche pick to have as a favorite character. I do think I tend to gravitate towards characters that have a lot of blank spaces I can fill in myself, while still having a personality and some background info to draw on. It's why Nakamori having a wife out of nowhere made me mad for a whole day (apologies to a certain someone for having to deal with my angry ranting) before I remembered I can just ignore canon. But y'know, that wasn't an extra step I had to take before then, eh?

Anyway he's the best. A Diet Zenigata, which is still completely unhinged by Conan-universe standards. I love whenever he's on screen, he's this serious, straight-laced, always-pissed-looking adult who goes off screaming whenever Kaitou Kid is mentioned and god knows how much police budget he spends on his KID-capture plans. He's doing his best. Someone help him. (Someone being Kogoro.)

Okay so a little while ago I threw around the idea of doing a crossover event for Batman/DC. Instead I ended up with this...

You can use a single prompt or one from every column. Or go crazy and go for a blackout in a single fic. Whatever you want.

It has to be a non-DC fandom. (eg. Batman and Arrowverse doesn't count as a crossover)

This is not about canon. This is about building the most beautiful and/or unhinged sandcastle you can. Don't worry too much about it.

So ART's an interesting character because uh. It's inhuman.

And I mean very inhuman. I mean, it is not shaped like a human. It does not think like a human. It does not have human needs. Instead, it has a lot of inhuman needs.

This makes it fascinating because it is a very different character than like. A lot of fiction. There are plenty of inhuman creatures, from dragons to aliens to robots. But the dragons are still organic creatures; the aliens are probably humans with silly foreheads; the robot has a mechanical voice and will be like 'beep boop what are these "emotions" of which you speak?" while still have a lot of very recognisable emotions.

And these aren't disses against those characters. They are some of my favourites, my dearly beloved blorbos.

But god ART is fascinating because it's so different.

It doesn't have mommy or daddy issues; arguably it doesn't have parents. It has been hurt, seriously, but it literally came back from the dead, so like. I don't feel the need to protect it, or take a bullet for it, or adopt it. (If anything, I would like ART to adopt me please).

I do want to study it. I wanna read the papers on its development. PLEASE.

2. AOKO

Wow. I realised just how little brain space I dedicate to her... but she's also so silly. I love her so much. She's a great character to pair up with Kaito (for any relationships, I love when they're having fun together.) She doesn't need more suffering <3

I love sm how in MK1412 they added extra scenes of the Ekoda gang! And Aoko looks so cute in it! (everyone else? ... it varies)

Now this is a hella hot take but I personally think KaiAo is much more interesting than ShinRan (for me). And fun too, because I've always been drawn to fun and teasing dynamics like these over the more romantic ones (if you get what I mean by more romantic). KaiAo and Shinran both are such wonderful couples though. *Bangs fists on table* THEY'RE BOTH SO UNBEARABLE CUTEEE

Someone told me I have very similar vibes to Aoko and I've been reevaluating myself XDD. No but I can see it. I think we have a similar energy (in my brain at least, I'm much more tired when I go out) and even preferred fashion.

Would give her a kiss anytime. Definitely. Let's go out on a picnic and have a fun hangout. We would be good friends.

3. SHINICHI/CONAN

Drawing was inspired by that scene where Conan gets suspicious of Hanzawa-san (from The Culprit Hanzawa, a spinoff of dcmk.)

Ok, so the thing is, I have a very strange relationship with him.

He's so silly, right? He so fun, he's adorable, so caring and well meaning, but I'm scared of him. I wouldn't want to meet him. I'm terrified even though he's so nice 😭. So I'd rather observe from a distance (hence the drawing ^ but I'd definitely set off his senses a lot.)

(What does it say about me that I'm scared of Shin/Cone but not Kaito? I'm working on overcoming my fear of Conan/Shin, I promise *on my hands and knees* I REALLY AM)

(My irl friend understands why I'm so terrified, I've explained the crazy stunts he's done and his very illegal spy equipment to them... they actually got a nightmare about Conan that night. He's such a law breaking little gremlin (affectionate)) So...no kisses for you, detective... only because I'm too intimidated 😭 But I'll gladly make content dedicated to you and fawn over you <3

If it's not already obvious, Kai > Shin/Cone for me. But he's definitely a close second.

Shin's/Cone's aesthetic? So peak. His detective work and general vibes with the series is so banging. That clean formal attire - I love wearing more formal stuff out. Being judged for it? At this point I don't really care hahaha. His mismatching outfits are so endearing, but I don't really vibe with them.

Canon is kinda frustrating for me. Well, as usual, I love to pick out the pieces I love and keep them dear to my heart. Ugh I want more identity issues and character relationship focuses. And more Shinran, this is literally ridiculous for slowburn lol.

Blorbo Bingo - Accepting!

Danny, the original blorbo, baby fruity's first DP blorbo. I rediscovered Danny Phantom when I was in highschool and I became abnormal for it almost at once. It was a level 10 autism event and there were no survivors. I loved the chaos this show had to offer, and I loved the amoral ghost boy at the middle of it. This kid wanted to be an honors student, he was flunking because he couldn't stop dropping shit. He would die for his friends, he replaced them with robots when they said something he didn't like. He was unhinged and I was living for it. Eventually I decided to create an RP blog on tumblr to interact with the surprisingly live phandom I had found here.

But of course I couldn't RP Danny, everyone had a Danny. I had to offer something New, a character that I wouldn't get attached to and start woobifying. So I picked the most unlikable character in the show.

Turned out great.

Danny is totally still my main blorbo and I didn't get attached to that other character at all.
