do you mind if I share an idea for a xmas fic Matthew pov? Not request as I think no one should request a fic to a fic writer , just an idea in case you like it

I think in 1904 given Alexander almost died on dec 25 and Kit indeed died in dec 27 one year prior probably Anna doesn’t feel like going to the annual christmas institute party, as I guess her parents wouldn’t either that year.

so I was thinking maybe it could be cute / angst fic of Matthew convincing her to go maybe with help of Ari or Cordelia, and see how tlh group became her new family as by the end of chot is implied she will go more distant than what she was with her parents

This is a great idea! Unfortunately, it is far too close to Christmas for me to write it, but you are a smart cookie and I enjoyed reading this ask.

#i do want to write an anna fic #because i agree that she is growing more distant from her blood family #i think i would structure it as a short 5+1 where she's feeling a distance with her parents in a prologue #and have each chapter be a different character #thomas would be one for sure and matthew another #probably eugenia and james and cordelia would get others #or maybe gideon/sophie rather than eugenia #it'd be a Sophideon Lightwood #or maybe flora #ari would definitely get the last one and their baby #unfortunately ari is sooo hard for me to get right in writing #i want to try again though
