This is the identity that I feel the strongest and am in by default if im not experiencing another shift. This is the species I want to transition to as part of being transspecies.

These are real animals that I experience shifts as. I can't seem to connect these to a psychological reason like I can with most of my fictionkin types; I just seem to be these Just Because.

These are identities I beleive are caused by delusion. They are experienced most strongly during a psychotic episode and tend to be experienced less when my emotions are more regulated through medication and therapy. These are things I have beleived I literally physically was during episodes, but still identify as outside of episodes.

A god of blood called Akrimau

A hagfish-like monster thing (sometimes thought to live in the Mortasheen world)

Honorable mention: Cockroach. This was only experienced once and so is not a lasting identity.

Coping links

These are identies that were chosen and cultivated over time in order to feel better aboit myself or cope with situations in my life. Often formed as a child, I wasn't aware of what I was doing so it's still semi involuntary, but I feel in my heart that they are different than more intrisic identies.

These are things that I dont quite identify as, but i identify with strongly enough that it feels important to my identity. I feel like I am these a bit, but not entirely.

Coping kintypes

These are identies that I beleive my mind latched onto in order to deal with trauma or mental illness. These are formed completely involuntarily and sometimes suddenly. They may have spiritual aspects as well but I am very agnostic in my beliefs. These kintypes often feel weaker and give me less shifts when I am not dealing with the specific thing I beleive they are meant to cope with. Most of my fictionkin types can fall under this catagory.

Fiction Flickers

These are identies which seem to depend on my interaction with their source media. They are involuntary and felt strongly at the time, but often fade when no longer interacting with the media they are from or just over time. These are often things I considered kin types but no longer do. They are different from characters I relate to and imagine myself as because of the strength of the connection having made me beleive it was an actual kintype. Its possible for them to flare up again when going back to the media they are from.

Past lives

These are things that I beleive are past lives. They influence me and I may experience shifts but they either arent often or strong enough to consider a theriotype. These past life memories may be formed in this life for psychological reaskns, but these are the types i experience mainly through last life memory. They could also be considered heart types.
